The game has to be played till the bitter end........
Peru grew for many years after they loosened up their economy and destroyed their severe terror problem.
But, Peru is probably now in recession. We feel it. Why? Low copper prices and China buying less commodities.
Things getting crazy...
I wish I could agree with you, but I'd say it's the opposite of crazy
The new normal ?
Makes perfect cents...
As long as you use zinc.
Put on zinc ointment
To the crabs dissappointment

Won't be long before they start dumping copper pipe by the side of the road in a desperate attempt to get rid of it.

FCX is up so it all makes sense i guess. /s
No relief on the retail price of copper in USA. The markup is enormous, 300% and more.
Price goes up, never down. Remember the increase in food costs due to oil prices? Haven't seen any change in the prices.
Yes and delivery companies are still charging a fuel surcharge.
The crude traders are taking the opportunity to hedge short once again as Iran is set to come onstream. You can also bet that with all the nonsense going on in Northern Iraq that the Iraqi Government will be pumping for all it's worth from the southern fields. You also have the U.S. opening up crude exports and Canada's new Prime Minister Trudeau agreeing to new pollution control measures in order to satisfy Obama.I see Keystone going through next year because of that and Obama getting new war spending money to satisfy the Republicans. He and Hillary are afraid of Trump and what he's telling the American public about them.
What does this action in Copper have to say about the world's largest underground Copper Mine planned and permitted for Northen Minnesota, my back yard " PolyMet Mining Corp. is a publicly traded company exclusively focused on developing the NorthMet copper-nickel-precious metals project, through its wholly owned subsidiary, PolyMet Mining, Inc. The NorthMet Project is located in the established Mesabi Iron Range mining district in northeastern Minnesota."
I never hear the company speak about copper price or future investors desire to fund the upcoming developement. It is not cheap to Hard Rock Mine underground for copper. I tend to see this is fantasy Island around here, as politicians cling to job creation this mine is supposed to bring. The world is entering a cycle of financial crisis, deflation and depression. Not bullish for copper.
mining in the iron range is a nightmare. the water table is like six inches below the surface and it never stops coming. the rock overburden is hell on equipment. any time you hear "iron range" and "mining" and "investment" together in the same sentence RUN.
Thank you for posting that news, J.B.
Does not look very smart...
Copper is the most overpriced commodity out there.

oil is political, copper is not. since when has anything political reflected reality? place your bets accordingly.
Work with me here. Silver is mostly a byproduct of copper mining. Copper goes down, less mining. Ergo, less silver in the marketplace. Silver usage rising year over year. Silver price declines year over year. Is there any real explanation for this other than blatant manipulation?

No Jews own HY bonds in Copper.
Sooo, gold is going below $1000?
Not just yet.
But it's on its way.
Haha. Only things that are being actively 'manipulated' are on the rise......buyer beware. The real world will eventually catch up to the fake world and when it does it is going to be U.G.L.Y.
