This is the part where I say only one government has ever used nuclear weapons on a civilian population and everyone down-votes me because it's the truth.

Now on to the next post where everyone bitches about how evil said government is, all with good reason.

When I sleep at night it's the fear of the lunatics and satanists in dc starting WWIII that go through my head, not Iran trying to defend itself from them. And no number of “funnies” from William O'Neil's cartoonists will convince me otherwise.

There's alot of new info about the decision to massively nuke civilians in Japan

It was known even before the decision Japan was going to surrender.

It's not just Japan - look at Dresden and fast-forward to US bombing of hospitals in Afghanistan.

How many innocent civilians slaughtered in Iraq? Syria? Operation Northwoods etc ad infinitum

Next up?! You & me baby.

Our government is second to none in its worship of Baphomet. Take a look at the new spending bill signed today. Satan has gotten cocky but his pimps in Congress keep delivering fresh baby parts for his insatiable appetite. BTW, the taxpayer is the enslaved whore and his pimp is his local congressman

BTW, who keeps running these silly neo-con cartoons about Iran?

It's not the Zerohedge I used to know.

It theoretically could hold a nuke, which they don't have.  Meanwhile, wars of aggression (i.e. starting shit, or what the nazis got hung for, or violating the UN charter for which the whole org was formed) are being waged against the other Shia countries of Syria, Yemen, and Iraq.  Here's a thought:  What if Iran were to ever do anything that remotely resembled what we do with drones?  Send them abroad uninvited to do "targeted" assassinations?  We would bomb the living shit out of them and invade.  They can't even have a weapon that conceivably, sometime in the future, have the remotest possibility of maybe carrying a weapon they don't have and have taken lengthy steps to prove they can't get.

THINK ABOUT IT.  Japan is an ISLAND, a SMALL ISLAND, that had no NAVY LEFT at the time the bombs dropped. They COULD EASILY have been blockaded and controlled until they surrendered. We could have stopped all trade, and only allowed enough food aid to prevent mass starvation until they relented.

THIS is how a human being would have handled the situation without nukes. Having to continue to battle them island to island is nonsense.

How many people have died in the last forty years due to our kinder, gentler wars tha go on for years and years and years and never end? We can bitch about nukes and their lack of humanity all we like, but it looks to me like we are doing a bang up job without them. And while on the most hated subject....how much does a couple of nukes cost compared to the hundreds of billions of taxpayer dollars? Nukes that we paid for thirty years ago and spend untold amounts of money decommissioning.

The rule should be that we enter into to war reluctantly and rarely, but when we do, we do so mercilessly. We have laws that prevent cruel and unusual punishment, death row inmates are dithered over endlessly to prevent "suffering", and yet we enter into these military adventures, leading from behind or with one hand tied behind us, all politically correct, and motivations unclear, hundreds of thousands into the millions suffering and dying with NO clear agenda.

I say if we go to war we go to win.....or just stay the fuck out.

MrNosey, look into the real history of Germany instead of giving heed to NWO lies. You can thank parasitic central bankers for both world wars, and the sadistic revolutions, wars, and conflicts that were just as carefully planned and pulled off centuries before and since.

Germans were used as pawns and baddies just as Islamics are now. That's how the NWO gets us all at each other's throats and then easily demolishes the target nation, eliminate the target population, and loot resources. The only difference between the Germans and the Islamics is that the Germans were more culturally similar and easier to manipulate, whereas the Islamics have been many times misread so that their rotten plans spiral out of control.

Not that any of it would stop the psychopaths from instigating violence, bloodshed, and terror on any population, European, Islamic, or otherwise.

Every fucking murderer on the planet has had "reasons". It is our "humanness" that allows us to rationalize, to excuse our actions that serve our "need" for justice, each and every one of us with a different idea of exactly what that is. There is no justice in nature. There are only those who seek it at typically others expense.

The only difference between German Nazis and Islamists is the embrace of science and technology. They both believed they were the chosen people and saw everyone else as a threat to their ultimate ascendancy to their absolute domination and tyranny. And they are not the only ones.It never ends and our current chaos will create the opportunity for yet more supreme types trying to dominate.

Please re-read my response to MrNosey

Then read:
https://www.voltairenet.org/IMG/pdf/Sutton_Wall_Street_and_Hitler.pdf

Think about it: Not one shot was fired on German soil during WW1, but the entire German nation was forced to pay massive reparations everywhere. Then in 1929 Germany was financially devastated by the stock market crash, and by 1939 it was up and running, no debt, and in a position to threaten the rest of the world.

Do you find that a bit odd? In 10 years? Don't you find it too easy? And remember the part about Germany offering a treaty to stop the war in 1916 and the DC central bankers freaked because that would interfere with their plans to collapse all four Empires at once and control Continental currency? No? you never heard that one? Really? And why not? Because you're not allowed to know these things, that's why not.

If you're trying to explain history with NWO alibis you're on the wrong board.

Not one shot was fired on German soil during WWI.

A complete lie.

Ever heard of Tannenburg? Masurian Lakes? Obviously not.

Allied air raids against industrial sites and transport nodes.

British raids into the Heligoland Bight.

It is true that a broken Germany surrendered before the Allied armies made it to the Fatherland rather than face complete destruction. Hitler, on the other hand, decided to ruin the lives of every single German completely in pursuit of his megalomaniacal vision.

Rather than give up when his cause was obviously lost and spare the German people as much as possible, he allowed Germany to be completely shattered and even partitioned a la Poland. Way to go, Adolf, hero of the German Volk.

The Reichstag did make a peace proposal in 1917 that I am familiar with. Of course this was after the German Army had ravaged neutral Belgium in the interests of military expediency and introduced poison gas into the lexicon of warfare.

It is also true that the proposal was not supported by the military junta that effectively ruled Germany. They had their own "peace" proposals in mind and a fair-minded observer would also publish those. Of course the Allied Powers, of which the United States were NEVER a part of, had their own list of changes to the map. Particularly in the case of opportunistic Italy, these promises were the only reason they were in the war.

Hate on Woodrow Wilson all you like, but his Fourteen Points were perhaps the single most effective piece of wartime propaganda EVER. They simply dissolved the Austro-Hungarian Empire on the spot and left an increasing number of Germans to question the wisdom of their own malignant cause.

"The second point to remember is that they have never used them."

Perhaps not, but according to their semi-official "Samson option", if Israel is ever threatened (say by international pressures to renounce the apartheid and thus accept the one-state solution of a binational democracy), the world will "pay" with a nuclear winter and/or nuclear strikes on European capitals.

"Israel has been building nuclear weapons for 30 years. The Jews understand what passive and powerless acceptance of doom has meant for them in the past, and they have ensured against it. Masada was not an example to follow—it hurt the Romans not a whit, but Samson in Gaza? What would serve the Jew-hating world better in repayment for thousands of years of massacres but a Nuclear Winter. Or invite all those tut-tutting European statesmen and peace activists to join us in the ovens? For the first time in history, a people facing extermination while the world either cackles or looks away—unlike the Armenians, Tibetans, World War II European Jews or Rwandans—have the power to destroy the world. The ultimate justice?"

Think about the united Arab Alliance that attacked Israel in 1973 even though they had nuclear weapons by then. And then rejoice in the decisive Israeli conventional victory. The alternative would not have been nice.

Tarabel, your confused as to who was winning the 1973 war.  It was the Egyptians.  Israeli forces were overun by Egypt and Israel was rapidly losing the war, until the US intervened.  That led to the oil shock later that year because the Saudis thought it was unfair that the US diddn't try to settle the conflict fairly by forcing Israel to give up lands it had unfairly acquired by sneak attacking Egypt in 1967.

Israel suddenly attacked it's neighbors in 1967 ('sneak attack' they call it, kind of what Japan did on Dec 7 1941), and took over the Golan, the West bank from Jordan, and a large chunk of Egypt.  Israel began the war just after stealing hundreds of pounds of weapons grade enriched uranium from a company in Pennsylvania (the FBI linnked Nuttyahoo to the smuggling of this into Israel).   With the roughly 600 lbs enriched Uranium, Israel manfactured a dozen or so nukes in Dimona in 1966-67; once this was completed, the plans for the war went forward.

The 1973 war was started by Egypt to regain the chunk of land that Israel stole from them in the illegal Six day war. The Egyptians were winning.  Kisssinger, while Nixon was indisposed by Watergate, took the US to the highest state of nuclear war with the Soviets to prevent the Soviets from resupplying Egypt.

From Wikipedia:

"The military combat actions during the war mostly took place in the Sinai and the Golan Heights, territories that were occupied by Israel since the Six-Day War of 1967. Egypt and Syria wanted to regain the Sinai and the Golan Heights respectively. Egyptian President Anwar Sadat wanted also to reopen the Suez Canal. Neither specifically planned to destroy Israel, although the Israeli leaders could not be sure of that.[53][54]

I'm not confused at all.

By the time the superpowers intervened and shut the Israeli offensive down, the Israeli Army was on the other side of the Suez Canal, with much of the Egyptian Army destroyed or encircled. And was also approaching Damascus on the other front. You call that winning?

And you seriously believe that the Arabs would have stopped anywhere short of Jerusalem, if it had been possible for them to get there?

Tarabel; the IDF was overun initially, then counter attacked and performed well.  Israel began attacking Soviet forces in the Med, sinking a Soviet ship and exchaning fire with Soviet forces in Syria.   If the Israelis began using nukes, the Soviets would have used nukes right back against Israel.

From wikipedia:

Soviet Active Aid

On the Golan front, Syrian forces received direct support from Soviet technicians and military personnel. At the start of the war, there were an estimated 2,000 Soviet personnel in Syria, of whom 1,000 were serving in Syrian air defense units. Soviet technicians repaired damaged tanks, SAMs and radar equipment, assembled fighter jets that arrived via the sealift, and drove tanks supplied by the sealift from ports to Damascus. On both the Golan and Sinai fronts, Soviet military personnel retrieved abandoned Israeli military equipment for shipment to Moscow.[316] Soviet advisors were reportedly present in Syrian command posts "at every echelon, from battalion up, including supreme headquarters". Some Soviet military personnel went into battle with the Syrians, and it was estimated that 20 were killed in action and more were wounded. In July 1974, Israeli Defense Minister Shimon Peres informed the Knesset that high-ranking Soviet officers had been killed on the Syrian front during the war. There were strong rumors that a handful were taken prisoner, but this was denied. However, it was noted that certain Soviet Jews were allowed to emigrate just after the war, leading to suspicions of a covert exchange. The Observer wrote that seven Soviets in uniform were taken prisoner after surrendering when the Israelis overran their bunker. The Israelis reportedly took the prisoners to Ramat David Airbase for interrogation, and treated the incident with great secrecy.[317][318]

Israeli military intelligence reported that Soviet-piloted MiG-25 Foxbat interceptor/reconnaissance aircraft conducted flyovers over the Canal Zone.[319]

Soviet threat of intervention

October 24. A UN-arranged meeting between IDF Lt. Gen. Haim Bar-Lev and an Egyptian general in Sinai.

On October 9, the Soviet cultural center in Damascus was damaged during an Israeli airstrike, and two days later, the Soviet merchant ship Ilya Mechnikov was sunk by the Israeli Navy during a battle off Syria. The Soviets condemned Israeli actions, and there were calls within the government for military retaliation. The Soviets ultimately reacted by deploying two destroyers off the Syrian coast. Soviet warships in the Mediterranean were authorized to open fire on Israeli combatants approaching Soviet convoys and transports. There were several recorded instances of Soviet ships exchanging fire with Israeli forces. In particular, the Soviet minesweeper Rulevoi and the medium landing ship SDK-137, guarding Soviet transport ships at the Syrian port of Latakia, fired on approaching Israeli jets.[264]

During the cease-fire, Henry Kissinger mediated a series of exchanges with the Egyptians, Israelis and the Soviets. On October 24, Sadat publicly appealed for American and Soviet contingents to oversee the ceasefire; it was quickly rejected in a White House statement. Kissinger also met with Soviet Ambassador Dobrynin to discuss convening a peace conference with Geneva as the venue. Later in the evening (9:35 pm) of October 24–25, Brezhnev sent Nixon a "very urgent" letter. In that letter, Brezhnev began by noting that Israel was continuing to violate the ceasefire and it posed a challenge to both the U.S. and USSR. He stressed the need to "implement" the ceasefire resolution and "invited" the U.S. to join the Soviets "to compel observance of the cease-fire without delay". He then threatened "I will say it straight that if you find it impossible to act jointly with us in this matter, we should be faced with the necessity urgently to consider taking appropriate steps unilaterally. We cannot allow arbitrariness on the part of Israel."[320][321] The Soviets were threatening to militarily intervene in the war on Egypt's side if they could not work together to enforce the ceasefire.

Kissinger immediately passed the message to White House Chief of Staff Alexander Haig, who met with Nixon for 20 minutes around 10:30 pm, and reportedly empowered Kissinger to take any necessary action.[320] Kissinger immediately called a meeting of senior officials, including Haig, Defense Secretary James Schlesinger, and CIA Director William Colby. The Watergate scandal had reached its apex, and Nixon was so agitated and discomposed that they decided to handle the matter without him:

When Kissinger asked Haig whether [Nixon] should be wakened, the White House chief of staff replied firmly 'No.' Haig clearly shared Kissinger's feelings that Nixon was in no shape to make weighty decisions.[322]

The meeting produced a conciliatory response, which was sent (in Nixon's name) to Brezhnev. At the same time, it was decided to increase the Defense Condition (DEFCON) from four to three. Lastly, they approved a message to Sadat (again, in Nixon's name) asking him to drop his request for Soviet assistance, and threatening that if the Soviets were to intervene, so would the United States.[322]

The Soviets placed seven airborne divisions on alert and airlift was marshaled to transport them to the Middle East. An airborne command post was set up in the southern Soviet Union, and several air force units were also alerted. "Reports also indicated that at least one of the divisions and a squadron of transport planes had been moved from the Soviet Union to an airbase in Yugoslavia".[323] The Soviets also deployed seven amphibious warfare craft with some 40,000 naval infantry in the Mediterranean.

The Soviets quickly detected the increased American defense condition, and were astonished and bewildered at the response. "Who could have imagined the Americans would be so easily frightened," said Nikolai Podgorny. "It is not reasonable to become engaged in a war with the United States because of Egypt and Syria," said Premier Alexei Kosygin, while KGB chief Yuri Andropov added that "We shall not unleash the Third World War."[324] The letter from the U.S. cabinet arrived during the meeting. Brezhnev decided that the Americans were too nervous, and that the best course of action would be to wait to reply.[325] The next morning, the Egyptians agreed to the American suggestion, and dropped their request for assistance from the Soviets, bringing the crisis to an end.

I'm still not confused. The war ended with Israel on the far (Cairo) side of the Suez Canal, the Egyptian Army practically destroyed, and the two superpowers using every form of persuasion they could think of to keep the Israelis from going all the way to the Pyramids and triggering WWIII as the USSR was facing the same sort of Save Them or Lose Them choice back then that Russia just faced in Syria this year.

You complain about the Israeli surprise attack in 1967 but have no problem with the deliberately-timed Yom Kippur offensive (on Israel's holiest day) in 1973. The difference is that the Israelis kicked the Arabs asses around the moon in 67 while the Arabs had an initial spurt of progress in 73 but were eventually routed, encircled and only saved by Soviet threats of intervention. Left to their own devices, Israel would have finished them off completely.

Stop with the "illegal" nonsense. It's a war. It's how nations settle their differences when all other means fail. The 1948 War was a war. The Six Day War was a war. The Yom Kippur War was a war. Israel won all three and gave the Egyptians their land back peacefully as soon as Egypt expressed an interest in co-existing rather than trying to liquidate their neighbor.

For which heinous deed, the pan-Arabs murdered the man (Anwar Sadat) who chose to let the lion lie down in peace with the lamb.

Here's the irony- Israel was "restrained" in it's response during the Yom Kippur war, in that it had nukes and no-one else did. But if another ME nation gets nukes, then Israel will use nukes to knock out thier nukes. Unless the ragheads get nukes simultaneously along with second strike capabilities, in which case it becomes a standoff with the ziolunatics. So, for world safety, really, what we need is open-source technology so that everyone can have nukes. This way, MAD is the rule, and nukes become meaningless. Then we can fight our wars conventionally.

It's the right to bear arms writ large. Guns make everyone safer.

Sarcasm warning: it's your guess- vote accordingly.

Surprise surprise McCormick.   The event  "Another ME nation gets nukes" has already happened sort of.  Russia is now stationed all over Syria and has nukes galore on it's subs and ships.  It has more nukes than Israel and has an air defense force to cover them as well.   I don't think Russia is leaving Syria anytime soon.   In fact you can count on Russia now having a PERMANENT presence next door to Israel.   Israel cannot lauch any attack on Iran without Russia knowing about it and alerting Iran.   Iran now has the S-300 and likely will get the S-400 system soon.   Iran is stationing thousands of troops in Syria permanently.  Eventually Iran will get nukes; it's a done deal.  Israel will have to learn to live with it.  Hey, Israel may eventually even come clean and offer to sign the non proliferation treaty, but I doubt that. They just prefer to do things their own disengenous way

Russia is back in Syria with a huge nuclear force and air cover as well.  This time to stay.  Russia understands the the jihadist triable of Turkey-Israel-Saudia all backed by Uncle Sugar must be opposed or else the world will end up in a nuclear exchange.   Just as the Soviets and were able to calm the ME down in 1973, so must Putin and Obama (with the neocon Zionists kicking and screaming all the way).

Since you mention it, and I am unusually chirpy this morning, I will throw this out.

Adblock and Ghostry seem very effective, but why are they the only effective solution?

My Linux freezes due to lack of memory and I reboot from clean on a regular basis, a limitation of this ten year old machine, no doubt.

I am going to try other addons for comparison.

In my mind, when there is only one solution to a problem, there is a reason for it.

Adblock is effective, yes. Why is it the only one?

Kim Il Jung, possibly  -but how dare you desmirch the name of the great Vladimar. Yes he was recruited and put into power by Berezhozsky and the Oligarchs, but he turned on them almost immediately and became a Russian Nationalist serving the interests of Russians, rather than the Jewish billionaires who had taken over. The Jewish Oligarchs literally called themselves "The Family"  and The family chose Putin to succeed Yeltsin. and In a way it reminds me of Hitler's rise to power. It is likely true that he and Nazi Germany were funded by the Oligarchs of the West-  -but Like Putin, to the extent that they did, Hitler bit the hand that fed him. That's why the International Banksters, though their puppet Churchill - crushed Hitler at all costs. They appear to have the same plans for Putin  -Maybe Putin will have the upper hand this time.

Kennendy is perhaps another example of a leader installed with the help of the powerful, organized criminocasy  -the family. He turned on him, andlook what happened. That's why you'll never see Clintons or Obama or Bushes turning on TPTB that installed them, and choosing to actually serve the American people.  I hope Trump is independent and has not sold his soul to the devils here -I believe he has not, or I sincerely hope he has not.

This comic sums up pretty nicely why I can't stand Ramirez, and really political cartoons in general. They are virtually inherently political strawmen.

This one is particularly ridiculous. Trying to draw parallels to real-world issues using fictional entities is just moronic. Of course, since everyone is so brainwashed by pop-culture, their brains will automatically process it as funny and insightful when in reality nothing of value is being said.

It would be like if I drew a cartoon of Netanyahu in the Emperor's robes with him saying "The Rebel Palestinians must be crushed because they pose a threat to the safety of the Empire!".

Edit: also, does anyone seriously still find the "If you like your x you can keep your x"? thing funny anymore? Sadly, since I see it in just about every comment section, it would seem to be the case.
