Teflon Trump

In 13 succinct words, Donald Trump summed up reality in American politics...

Crushing the hopes and dreams of 'the establishment', The Donald continues to surge in popularity as nothing 'sticks' to hit no matter what he says...

Source: The Economist

As The Hill reports, Presidential candidate Donald Trump is enjoying his largest lead over the GOP field following Tuesday's presidential debate, a new poll finds.

The post-debate survey from Public Policy Polling (PPP) released Friday shows the real estate mogul with 34 percent support nationally among GOP voters, up 8 points from a mid-November poll.

Trump's favorability has also grown. He's rated at 51 percent favorable, 37 unfavorable.

“As the year comes to a close Donald Trump is just getting stronger,” Dean Debnam, president of PPP, said in a statement.

“His support for the nomination is growing but so is his overall favorability which suggests his ceiling could be higher than often assumed.”

I'm a libertarian so Ron Paul is who I would chose if he were running. I think Rand is closest to having polices I believe in. Ted Cruz is more likely to get the nomination than Rand I would vote for Cruz. I love the way Trump busts up the establishment but I wonder if he really believes in the bill of rights etc. I would vote for Trump over Hillary and would even consider giving Sanders money to keep Hilary out of the nomination because she is deeply evil. Sanders would be a disaster with is free shit army crap but he would fuck with the establishment which I approve of.

Trump likes the progresive tax structure which benefits politicians so that can write tax cuts for their buddies. Trump like ethanol subsidies. Only a fucking idiot would burn their food for fuel. Trump enjoys taking personal property for his gain  or under what his presidency would term "the greater good". Trump wanted nothing to do with ISIS until Paris.. Now he wants to bomb the hell out of them. He had no idea what the Triad was and tried to cover it up. He is a cclueless progressive/boomer who probably feels bad ablut his wealth.

Trump's wrong on taxes, but then so is every other politician. The only proper solution is to end the personal income tax completely. But if Trump advocated for that, he'd die in a suspicious fire the very next day. No matter what Trump really thinks about income taxes, I'm sure he knows that much.

One issue at a time.

If Cruz plays his cards right, he'll get to be VP.

If Rand Paul plays his cards right, he'll get a plum Cabinet position. Perhaps one for Carly also, because she's got a hell of a lot more real-world leadership to offer than the likes of JEB or Rubio, etc. Carson could be the... [drumroll]... Surgeon General.  Duh!

With a team like that, I could imagine Middle America and real corporate America (not the TBTF) getting on board.

All others are "useless eaters", adding no value to the Shareholders that are the American People.

Bush in the children's nursery ( how poignant { the beginning of life, little dears, aah } and folding like a pack of cards with pre-set explosives on every floor, laid by the dancing moss bros, probably, the end of life ).
Just before the tap on the shoulder from his secret service detail ( i've had forensic experts examine extensively his facial contortions and 9/10 reckon they're even more blatantly staged bullshit eureka moments than John Kerry's ad hoc Syrian Chemical Charade ) Bush told the class that the open book he held in his hands and their reading material was the last book he ever read cover to cover.

A country's People make a country great... not one man. That said, one man might be able to steer the country to greatness, like Putin did with Russia,,, but America? Trump doesn't have near as much to work with.

Another thing,,, Trump is good on his feet, recognizes many things are not right but, has anyone taken him to task on his thoughts on returning to a constitutional republic? Not that I am aware of. Has anyone asked him about shutting down most of the overseas bases and returning to a nation among nations? Has anyone asked him his thoughts on the growing police state, the out of control Intel agencies, the corrupt Justice Dept, the even more corrupt Federal Reserve? Why aren't these questions being asked? Yes it's fun to watch him make fools of the fools but, if we don't ask the hard questions aren't we being fools as well?

Here is 13 succinct words this nation has seen fit to abandon:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, ...

No truer words have ever been written.

Reject, you hit the nail on the head.  If America's media wasn't as corrupt as its politicians those are the questions they should be asking.  Why arent they being asked? When did the old-time news people disappear to be replaced by government mouthpieces?  Mind you my country is the same or worse.  We only hear recycled American spin.

you have to wonder if trump has the endorsement of business to get behind a big rollback in mic(as is normal during peace time) to pay for a return of industry to the usa. that is the message labor wants to hear. business just wants to be profitable and that is easy to legislate. the problem are the banks and wallsteet, the biggest friend and foe of business. i am sure business would like a real businessman in office to turn the balance back to business.

One concern with Trump is are we falling in to the cult of personality trap with this guy like the brain stem demoncrats did with Obama? We all know now what most of us here knew 8 years ago, that Obama was an empty suit, with no real ideas, no real change, and only hope for those whose desire it is to destroy this once great nation - i.e his puppetmasters.

Trump is not an empty suit, his life is pretty much an open book and he has actually accomplished much in his life, but he never seems to fill in the blanks in his policy tidbits he throws out. Don't get me wrong, I do not believe he is out to destroy this nation as Obama was, but what are his ideas on real issues and what are his intentions for upholding the constiution?

It seems the most reasoned and logical person in these debates has been Rand Paul, but like his dad he is on the 'pay no mind' list of the MSM so he has a snowballs chance.

I would prefer almost anyone over Hitlery or Jebby, so I'm all ears with Trump.

So what? Name a single Republican (well, besides Ron Paul) who has followed through on a single policy they have elaborated. They lie, and then wind up fucking you in the end. And as far as Ron Paul goes, look where that got him.

Trump may fuck us, but at least he is showing the common decency not to lie to us first.

If you think policies and systems change themselves, you are delusional. It is ALWAYS personal. Anyone who tells you otherwise is giving themselves room to crap out on their responsibility to build a better world for me to live in. As for keeping some of his intentions to himself, would you telegraph your whole strategy everytime you moved a chess piece? This is a war, we are pawns and he is the king we will choose. The best you can do is read between the lines to judge if king knows what he is doing, thats the way it works.

True, can't argue with that.

Same with Jeb.

Neil Bush - At age 11, he entered the exclusive St. Albans School in Washington, D.C. He struggled through school; a counselor told his mother that it was doubtful the boy had the potential to graduate.

Don't like him, I doubt I ever will, arrogant blow hard that he is, however if I was in the US, I would vote for him, because anything is better than the corporate controlled mouth pieces that are rolled out to be elected over and over again, he may be a blow hard, but he is saying what he actually thinks rather than what some corporation has told him he will think. A breath of fresh air in the usual rancid US election debate.

Trump is preferable to others in the race but don't kid yourself.

He will stomp on the Constitution just like the rest of them willl and 5 seconds after taking office he'll be reminded that his life depends on doing what he's told and nothing more.

They'll give him some room as a pressure release valve to make it look like things are changing and nothing will change, at least for the better.

Nothing is going to change because the POTUS doesn't run the country.

If he's not for an immediate reinstatement of the Bill of Rights and closing down the wars and if he believes the official story on 911 then he's just like the rest of them only he has better sales skills.

Guys, the plug has been pulled. Let the show begin. Our organization has been alerted accordingly to that effect this morning at 4am, that the deed is done. The battle trigger code has been chosen. It will get incredibly ugly, as real casualties will result. The annihilation of entire groups of people within the corrupt and criminal systems will be unimaginable to normal humanoids. These systems will be totally dismembered and crushed, never to be resurrected. The cabal is being caught in a grand dragnet, with the outcome certain to be their extermination, along with all their agents and collaborators. The effects of this event driven scenario will become visible to the ordinary people in early 2016 and forward. Once the dust settles, it is clear to me that the human population will be noticeably lower, with fewer people roaming this planet.

Some intensified anti Trump propaganda from the propagandists who more and more sheeple are coming to hate should notch up those ratings a few more points. Trump isn't stupid and has a style where he says something outrageous to get the propagandists all excited, so they give him air time to use it against him, and he uses the air time to shit all over them while more fully explaining the higher meanings of what he said. He will soon write a book titled The Art of Fucking Over the Propagandists. He and Putin both use that Jujitsu style of turning their adversaries own force against them, probably one of the reasons they like each other.
