funny thing: i was getting ready to augment my green arrow with a text-up. and then i read STP's kindness followed straight-away by your own. dude, i love "brothers in arms" and Dire Straits are, for me, like philosopher kings hiding behind amps and steel strings...anyway, that playing of that song and the minutes comprising it will stay with me forever...a moment stamped in time.
after one more cup of coffe i'm going to write a piece about a very special meeting i had with a hollywood big-wig...looks like my time may've arrived...and, ZHealots, i owe so very much to all my friends round here. i really cannot thank y'all enough.
through your up & down votes and various comments you helped me sculpt a raw and sharp-edged way with words into a style that finds favor with the people...at least some of them...well, at least enough to where i'll maybe make a go of this after all.

Yes, we have a neat little community here on ZeroHedge and I am here, everyday, soaking up the information, that I'd never see anywhere else, or often, before I see it on Drudge, then finally, the Mainstream Propaganda.
I think there is a great awakening going on. It is evidenced by the ratings of the biggest MSM outlets, as their viewership declines or becomes irrelevant. The alternative media, the blogs and websites are now powerful new dissimulators of relevant and important information. Yet, even with that, there are many who are still asleep, esp. the NY Times readers, watchers of the View and other garbage outlets. Their willingness to support a total skank for President of the United States, makes one wonder.
May your Holidays be a good one, one and all! I think, 2016 is going to be a very, very interesting year!

Can we do both family good cheer with our loved ones, and then come here for fellowship and escape from the commercialism? Can both be valid in one human?
I think it is more authentic and real. This holiday has been turned into something perverse with the shopping and selling and expectations.
I just helped two young women pay rent as their Christmas present. To get them "stuff" would have been supporting the beast and not helping where they really needed it. One of them has been shaky a long time (lots of part time work) one is trying her damnedest to launch her own business. She is waking up to just how much more work she needs to put into it in hopes of making it work.
I will help someone else who ran up debt trying to survive, later today. He has worked hard paying it down, cutting costs, trying to find ways to earn more. I want to reward that. Stuff is not what he needs either.
The e-con-o-me is what it is. It should be mocked and ridiculed and it is loving and being present with reality to do so. Two of these three have a lot of education, they followed the formula, and they have been lied to pretty bad.
Fuck these folks harvesting money from the system through lobbying, bailouts, loopholes, etc.

A: an indespensible part of my Hedge experience & the first cyber-comic developed as an idiosyncratic style and tending to a readily identifiable substance. that is to say, WBVII can rightfully claim to have adapted the newspaper 'comic' to the interwebs in such a way that it's fresh, original iconoclastic and instantaneously recognizable as a "Banzai". WildBill has often been imitated (especially of late), but never bested; always ahead of any attempts to co-opt and clutter his coattails, he sets the trends, smashes them and then recasts them before the apers can figure out what to copy next. i even saw imitations of "Visual Combat" at nytimes and wsj online...don't let it bug you, WBVII -- it truly is the sincerest form of flattery.
i mean this, old friend...you've made an everlasting mark on cyber space and have forged an idiom of your very own within it -- one that will last. you're not unlike our very own Chuck Shultz.
that's not even mentioning your other great virtue as an artist: WB is perhaps the most prolific graphic-artist/comic-satirist in all of the interwebs.
