"Political Correctness" Is About Control, Not Etiquette

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Jeff Deist via The Mises Institute,

I’d like to speak today about what political correctness is, at least in its modern version, what it is not, and what we might do to fight against it.

To begin, we need to understand that political correctness is not about being nice. It’s not simply a social issue, or a subset of the culture wars.

It’s not about politeness, or inclusiveness, or good manners. It’s not about being respectful toward your fellow humans, and it’s not about being sensitive or caring or avoiding hurt feelings and unpleasant slurs.

But you’ve heard this argument, I’m sure. PC is about simple respect and inclusiveness, they tell us. As though we need progressives, the cultural enforcers, to help us understand that we shouldn’t call someone retarded, or use the “N” word, make hurtful comments about someone’s appearance, or tolerate bullies.

If PC truly was about kindness and respect, it wouldn’t need to be imposed on us. After all, we already have a mechanism for the social cohesion PC is said to represent: it’s called manners. And we already have specific individuals charged with insuring that good manners are instilled and upheld: they’re called parents.

Political Correctness Defined

But what exactly is PC? Let me take a stab at defining it: Political correctness is the conscious, designed manipulation of language intended to change the way people speak, write, think, feel, and act, in furtherance of an agenda.

PC is best understood as propaganda, which is how I suggest we approach it. But unlike propaganda, which historically has been used by governments to win favor for a particular campaign or effort, PC is all-encompassing. It seeks nothing less than to mold us into modern versions of Marx’s un-alienated society man, freed of all his bourgeois pretensions and humdrum social conventions.

Like all propaganda, PC fundamentally is a lie. It is about refusing to deal with the underlying nature of reality, in fact attempting to alter that reality by legislative and social fiat. A is no longer A.

To quote Hans-Hermann Hoppe:

[T]he masters … stipulate that aggression, invasion, murder and war are actually self-defense, whereas self-defense is aggression, invasion, murder and war. Freedom is coercion, and coercion is freedom. … Taxes are voluntary payments, and voluntarily paid prices are exploitative taxes. In a PC world, metaphysics is diverted and rerouted. Truth becomes malleable, to serve a bigger purpose determined by our superiors.

But where did all this come from? Surely PC, in all its various forms, is nothing new under the sun. I think we can safely assume that feudal chiefs, kings, emperors, and politicians have ever and always attempted to control the language, thoughts, and thus the actions of their subjects. Thought police have always existed.

To understand the origins of political correctness, we might look to the aforementioned Marx, and later the Frankfurt school. We might consider the work of Leo Strauss for its impact on the war-hungry think tank world. We might study the deceptive sloganeering of Saul Alinsky. We might mention the French philosopher Foucault, who used the term “political correctness” in the 1960s as a criticism of unscientific dogma.

But if you really want to understand the black art of PC propaganda, let me suggest reading one of its foremost practitioners, Edward Bernays.

Bernays was a remarkable man, someone who literally wrote the book on propaganda and its softer guise of public relations. He is little discussed in the West today, despite being the godfather of modern spin.

He was the nephew of Sigmund Freud, and like Mises was born in Austria in the late nineteenth century. Unlike Mises, however, he fortuitously came to New York City as an infant and then proceeded to live an astonishing 103 years.

One of his first jobs was as a press agent for President Woodrow Wilson’s Committee on Public Information, an agency designed to gin up popular support for US entry into WW1 (German Americans and Irish Americans especially were opposed). It was Bernays who coined the infamous phrase “Make the World Safe for Democracy” used by the committee.

After the war, he asked himself whether one could “apply a similar technique to the problems of peace.” And by “problems,” Bernays meant selling stuff. He directed very successful campaigns promoting Ivory Soap, for bacon and eggs as a healthy breakfast, and ballet. He directed several very successful advertising campaigns, most notably for Lucky Strike in its efforts to make smoking socially acceptable for women.

The Role of “Herd Psychology”

Bernays was quite open and even proud of engaging in the “manufacturing of consent,” a term used by British surgeon and psychologist Wilfred Trotter in his seminal Instincts of the Herd in Peace and War published in 1919.

Bernays took the concept of herd psychology to heart. The herd instinct entails the deep seated psychological need to win approval of one’s social group. The herd overwhelms any other influence; as social humans, our need to fit in is paramount.

But however ingrained, in Bernays’s view the herd instinct cannot be trusted. The herd is irrational and dangerous, and must be steered by wiser men in a thousand imperceptible ways — and this is key. They must not know they are being steered.

The techniques Bernays employed are still very much being used to shape political correctness today.

First, he understood how all-powerful the herd mind and herd instinct really is. We are not the special snowflakes we imagine, according to Bernays. Instead we are timorous and malleable creatures who desperately want to fit in and win acceptance of the group.

Second, he understood the critical importance of using third party authorities to promote causes or products. Celebrities, athletes, models, politicians, and wealthy elites are the people from whom the herd takes its cues, whether they’re endorsing transgender awareness or selling luxury cars. So when George Clooney or Kim Kardashian endorses Hillary Clinton, it resonates with the herd.

Third, he understood the role that emotions play in our tastes and preferences. It’s not a particular candidate or cigarette or a watch or a handbag we really want, it’s the emotional component of the ad that affects us, however subconsciously.

What We Can Do About It

So the question we might ask ourselves is this: how do we fight back against PC? What can we do, as individuals with finite amounts of time and resources, with serious obligations to our families, loved ones, and careers, to reverse the growing tide of darkness?

First, we must understand that we’re in a fight. PC represents a war for our very hearts, minds, and souls. The other side understands this, and so should you. The fight is taking place on multiple fronts: the state-linguistic complex operates not only within government, but also academia, media, the business world, churches and synagogues, nonprofits, and NGOs. So understand the forces aligned against you.

Understand that the PC enforcers are not asking you, they’re not debating you, and they don’t care about your vote. They don’t care whether they can win at the ballot box, or whether they use extralegal means. There are millions of progressives in the US who absolutely would criminalize speech that does not comport with their sense of social justice.

One poll suggests 51 percent of Democrats and 1/3 of all Americans would do just that.

The other side is fighting deliberately and tactically. So realize you’re in a fight, and fight back. Culturally, this really is a matter of life and death.

We Still Have Freedom to Act

As bad as PC contamination may be at this point, we are not like Mises, fleeing a few days ahead of the Nazis. We have tremendous resources at our disposal in a digital age. We can still communicate globally and create communities of outspoken, anti-PC voices. We can still read and share anti-state books and articles. We can still read real history and the great un-PC literary classics. We can still homeschool our kids. We can still hold events like this one today.

This is not to say that bucking PC can’t hurt you: the possible loss of one’s job, reputation, friends, and even family is very serious. But defeatism is never called for, and it makes us unworthy of our ancestors.

Use humor to ridicule PC. PC is absurd, and most people sense it. And its practitioners suffer from a comical lack of self-awareness and irony. Use every tool at your disposal to mock, ridicule, and expose PC for what it is.

Never forget that society can change very rapidly in the wake of certain precipitating events. We certainly all hope that no great calamity strikes America, in the form of an economic collapse, a currency collapse, an inability to provide entitlements and welfare, energy shortages, food and water shortages, natural disasters, or civil unrest. But we can’t discount the possibility of these things happening.

And if they do, I suggest that PC language and PC thinking will be the first ornament of the state to go. Only rich, modern, societies can afford the luxury of a mindset that does not comport with reality, and that mindset will be swiftly swept aside as the “rich” part of America frays.

Men and women might start to rediscover that they need and complement each other if the welfare state breaks down. Endless hours spent on social media might give way to rebuilding social connections that really matter when the chips are down.

More traditional family structures might suddenly seem less oppressive in the face of great economic uncertainty. Schools and universities might rediscover the value of teaching practical skills, instead of whitewashed history and grievance studies. One’s sexual preferences might not loom as large in the scheme of things, certainly not as a source of rights. The rule of law might become something more than an abstraction to be discarded in order to further social justice and deny privilege.

Play the Long Game

I’m afraid it might not be popular to say so, but we have to be prepared for a long and hard campaign. Let’s leave the empty promises of quick fixes to the politicians. Progressives play the long game masterfully. They’ve taken 100 years to ransack our institutions inch by inch. I’m not suggesting incrementalism to reclaim those foregone institutions, which are by all account too far gone — but to create our own.

PC enforcers seek to divide and atomize us, by class, race, sex, and sexuality. So let’s take them up on it. Let’s bypass the institutions controlled by them in favor of our own. Who says we can’t create our own schools, our own churches, our own media, our own literature, and our own civic and social organizations? Starting from scratch certainly is less daunting than fighting PC on its own turf.

Conclusion

PC is a virus that puts us — liberty loving people — on our heels. When we allow progressives to frame the debate and control the narrative, we lose power over our lives. If we don’t address what the state and its agents are doing to control us, we might honestly wonder how much longer organizations like the Mises Institute are going to be free to hold events like this one today.

Is it really that unimaginable that you might wake up one day and find sites with anti-state and anti-egalitarian content blocked — sites like mises.org and lewrockwell.com?

Or that social media outlets like Facebook might simply eliminate opinions not deemed acceptable in the new America?

In fact, head Facebook creep Mark Zuckerberg recently was overheard at a UN summit telling Angela Merkel that he would get to work on suppressing Facebook comments by Germans who have the audacity to object to the government’s handling of migrants.

Here’s the Facebook statement:

We are committed to working closely with the German government on this important issue. We think the best solutions to dealing with people who make racist and xenophobic comments can be found when service providers, government, and civil society all work together to address this common challenge.

Chilling, isn’t it? And coming soon to a server near you, unless we all get busy.

Newspeak is the fictional language in the novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, written by George Orwell. It is a controlled language created by the totalitarian state Oceania as a tool to limit freedom of thought, and concepts that pose a threat to the regime such as freedom, self-expression, individuality, and peace. Any form of thought alternative to the party’s construct is classified as "thoughtcrime".

These Soros-funded clowns seem to have accidentally reported something accurately, but they think it is somehow denigrating. But then again they likely think the word “denigrate” is racist and not politically correct.

It's about getting white people to shut up while they mug us.

Right now it's white men because they still think they need women

to vote for them.

But we are next, bet on it.

Saw a youtube today where the black dude is pushing the idea that whites are not human, they are

aliens and blacks were the original europeans, until tall whites showed up.

Quentin Tarantino has a new film that has a white man giving oral sex on his knees at gun point to a black man as revenge for the civil war. Is that politically correct?

The film produced by Harvey Weinstein.

Tarantino is a Jew, Italians have family names, not names of cities, Tony Roma from Miami I'm sure was a Jew.

http://lifeinlegacy.com/2003/0614/RomaTony.jpg

He is named after the city in Puglia, Italy - Taranto which  has a long Jewish history.

In Lecce and Bari the Italians burned the Jewish areas to the ground. Gee, I wonder why?

http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/50/Quentin_Taranti...

This is what they are pushing in the name of political correctness.

Wasn't the Barry bathhouse rumor that he wanted older white men on their knees in front of him.

In case you haven't noticed, political correctness only applies to whites. "Victims of white oppression" are free to express themselves in very un-PC ways without criticism. Whites are beginning to catch on to the true nature of the PC game, and are developing their own euphemisms. Some of the euphemisms are a product of finding work-arounds for comment filters that filter obvious politically incorrect words, and other euphemisms are intended to ridicule the PC language.

I am encouraged to see a recent noticeable increase in non-PC statements in the comment sections of formerly polite web sites. People are sick of political correctness, the racism of Obama, the BLM antics, and the perpetual grievance mongering of the moon god worshipers.

Forward (over the cliff)!

It's stunning, the sheer number of people willing to pay lip service to PC, until you realize that it's being enforced at the point of a paycheck. One .gov drone, one cubicle, one lesson-plan, one columns editor, one syllabus at a time.

I have actually gotten such replies at times. Many Americans are so completely mind fucked they refuse to consider much less fully recognize they are in fact living in a sort of matrix. a giant control mechanism. They cannot accept or fathom that what we used to call journalism is now simply a duplicate of PRAVDA/TASS from the soviet era circa 1950s, 60s,70s. Our supposed PRAVDA/MSM can create any narrative or dialogue they deem necessary to control the masses and take them in any direction they desire. It is a very powerful form of mind control and has worked very well. This is how Obamacare got passed and many of the grand illusions before us today were created.

I agree that many are waking up, although it remains to be seen if this happens soon enough or to what degree we will all suffer from the control freaks we call government and the corporatocracy they have created ? Complete with coercion and various harrasements from gov agencies. When I look at BHOs face these days I see a guy that is majorly stressed out because many of his illusions are failing. Enough time has passed for this to come to fruition as the illlusions were all based on lies, manipulations, distortions and time does break them down as a sort of proof of their original fallacy. What concerns me now is that the full fall out of the last 10 years has never been fully realized. As many here know, it has only been forstalled with masssive creation of cyber dollars. The full monty or complete fall out simply is not known or recognized as such and it is already in motion !  We have no idea what these maniacs we call government have fully created or any of its full impact going forward. We can identifiy some of the issues that will come to pass but not even close to all of them. Unfortunately we will find out more each day because it has already started and is in motion. The illusions are collapsing a bit at a time. As well the republicans have no idea how to resolve any of it and will be worthless as tits on a hog since they helped create many of the illusions and BHO simply put it all on steroids ! Bottom line we are all on our own merits or demerits as the case may be. There is a much better way !

words are thoughts, written or spoken. To ban or prohibit words is to vanquish thoughts.

As the list gets longer the thoughts get shorter.

Cursive writing is no longer taught in public school, so children can no longer read the Declaration of Independence in its original form.

How interesting that our vocabulary is being stripped from us at the same time our history is being erased.

Tue, 12/29/2015 - 01:23 | 6973147 TheMerryPrankster
TheMerryPrankster's picture

Numbering systems are symbols.Numbers are actual values that are very specific, hence they are designated a number.

Prime numbers for instance occupy a unique niche and some mathematicians feel they are the only true numbers in the universe, since non-prime numbers can be concocted out of a number of multiples.

Numbers are one place that are always true.  Though numbers can be manipulated, if you understand how they were manipulated, you can ask why and if you know why you probably know who as well.

Numbers are concrete, unique, yet always the same. words however are amibigous at best. Hence the effort to manipulate us by changing the meanings of words. To take out, once meant to "Date","to dispose of " to serve food off premises, now it mostly means kill someone.  I saw that meaning morph in my lifetime, as well as many others. Language is only static in a dead culture, as the world and the people change so does the language.

In our former reality language morphed to match the world and our experiences within it. Now language morphs to suit the needs of the propagandist in the government/elites/corporate empire, 3 heads to the same beast. name it as you will.

May I have some pi please? I need you to be precise now...

That is a peek into a hole in our number system. What you say is true, mostly...but not precisely...

The periodic chart no longer matches what we know of as reality any more. Those atomic numbers are based on such exceptional, shifty, stuff. We call things elements and use it because it is what we label stuff internationally and it really is close enough for most horse shoes and hand grenades that we might like to make. There has been a paradigm shift, We have not caught up to it. Functional reality does not need us to. Neither does the hole punctured in the number universe by pi.

Einstein displaced Newton, he has since been displaced several times (I confess I know I am not up on the latest, I left things at quantum theory, they have moved beyond without me)...

Words point at things, words are not the things they point at, they are always both enabling and constraining.

Words are the problem.

Words are the solution. Words we hold onto lightly until they become oppressive and hedgemonic. We replace those with new words. When the academy is working right, this mother fucking process is goregeous. When it is taken over for political purposes, we have failed. The idea is to get the best possible description of what we observe. When our observations no longer fit reality we must develop new thought systems and accompanying vocabularies to get the job done.

Fuck tradition.

Fuck political correctness.

I want to work with what works best in reality, here, now, today.

If that hurts some feelings, I suggest the offended grow a pair (could be ovaries or balls, I could not give less of a shit than I currently do).

Truth changes.

What works can be observed and tested.

The overlords of the internet at Google have already filter bubbled the masses and made many sites persona non grata in their search rankings and kicks many of them out of the ad revenue channels.  This puts anyone with an alternate viewpoint to the mainstream drivel into the wilderness and this is clearly an attempt to marginalize opinions that don't comport with the aristocratic imperative.

Who says we can’t create our own schools, our own churches, our own media, our own literature, and our own civic and social organizations?

Good point.  This, and the many other aggressions against peaceful people is the reason behind the acrimony when it comes to things like school vouchers or opting out of their system in any way.  They MUST control every bit of your life.  It is what these mindless idiots are driven to do.

But this time around they have a serious problem, thanks to technology and mass communication- and the American spirit.  Americans are generally inclined to respond to control freaks with "fuck you".  This tendency is being demonized in a thousand ways, from tropes in movies and television about rednecks and preppers, to laws that get right into your doctor's office and demand you obey.

These "people" are a relic of a bygone era.  Our current era is about putting them firmly into the past where they belong.

Is not PC very much a creation of the American and West European Educational elites? I am old enough to remember when PC began to spin out of control, it was the 90's, Clinton was in power, democrates and liberals felt powerful, and on university campus they we nearly all powerful. The roots go back deeper, I know the 70's saw liberals begin to win, and with victory, they began to try and control language. But the 90's saw the real attacks begin, colleges banned famous authors as " Old dead white men ".

I recently had a talk with a woman who went to college in the late 80's the beginning of PC madness. She to this day refused to accept most famous authors as valid, because they were not PC.

The University liberal power structure is even more PC now than in the 90's. The oldest members of faculty, with the real power postitions, are the leftists students of the late 60's early 70's. Their power to promote only PC women and men for 3 decades inside Universities has built up a powerful group of public teachers who cling to PC.

Colleges, High Schools, grade Schools. Teachers are products of PC universities, they bring that PC religion right into the 1st grade, all the way up to Graduate Schools.

Want to defeat PC? You must root out the professional educators. as they are the life and soul of PC. My daughter was a normal smart girl at age 7, by age 9 she was coming home spouting PC language, and when she went to High School, her only History Class was a History of American before Columbus. I read her text book. It was a fantasy history, made up about people's with no written history. To this day, she thinks she is as much Indian, as European. Though she is half Swedish and Half Finnish. You see, no European history is allowed in schools. Black History month, my daughter went through that, lot's of Mexican culture at school. Not a word about who 90% of these kids were. The sons and daughters of Americans of Northern European descent.

I agree with much of what you are saying.  I work at a university and teach a history course on western journalism.  So the actual course I teach is highly "American" and honestly. no expects it to be otherwise and it's actually required by an accrediting body to be offered.  So while the overall picture you paint...of higher education being swamped with "progressives" trying to indoctrinate their agenda on their entire student body is correct, it's not near complete and in many ways is reeling in the state school context because of economic realities (thank God!).

Understanding that higher ed has been dominated by the "PC crowd" of Marxists as you said, and that they still hold the majority, I want to offer some bullet points as to why their control is weakening:

1) They are lazy.  I know that sounds simple, but it's true.  They aren't hard workers and as the funding dries up, hard workers who aren't of the Marxist variety almost out of natural selection are gaining influence because they actually get shit done and stuff does have to get done.

2) The "progressive" cause of diversity has actually led to many foreign academics getting hired.  There just aren't enough minority candidates of American citizenship to fill the slots they envisioned because they don't have the degrees.  To the surprise of many I assume, these foreign academics are much more conservative in general than their American counterparts.  Those that aren't, have a hard time convincing American students to identify with them enough to influence them culturally in a PC sense.  Academics from India, China and the Middle East have difficulty abandoning their entire conservative cultural upbringings...and the female academics from those countries find American feminism to be insane because American men are already much more "liberal"...even the more conservative ones.

3) The economic realities of government debt have constrained the hiring of new faculty to replace some of the most ardent 60s/70s groomed academics now retiring and dying.  Adjunct faculty tend to come out of the business world more and other professions and aren't nearly as dogmatic..and when they try to be, they aren't real convincing.

4)And lastly (though I could go on), for the same economic reasons there isn't the funding for graduate assistantships that there used to be.  This means fewer and fewer ways to incentivize students to go along with "the agenda" to get their degrees.  Students who have to pay for their own schooling (or at least not directly funded by the academics they are working with) have more say in what goes on in their classes and actually (because I advise many masters students actually) they want "skills skills skills" as they hope to get a job outside academia.  This means they don't want the "theory courses" the Marxists generally teach...they want advanced graphics, production, writing, etc.

So there's my 2 cents.  All I'm trying to say is that the more the "rubber meets the road" which is increasingly required in higher education to keep the doors open, the less influence the Marxists have.  I never thought job insecurity would be so good. ;-)

Permit please a quibble with the word "progressives" used in the concluding paragraph. It's a clunky substitute but I think "non-free speechers" better (and if anyone can provide an improvement please do.) There are some societal issues I'm conservative on, some progressive, and some - many - un-informed enough to have a cogent thought.

I've come to the position tho, that catch-all terms like progressive & conservative are now themselves prejoratives that chill if not outright preclude an ongoing dialogue.  And it is EXACTLY by inviting and better still even welcoming a continuing conversation that those of us who strongly favor transparent ideas - in both governmental & economic debate - can & will persuade others to our viewpoint.

And by viewpoint I mean a 100% transaparent government that always rewards merit while never forgetting that we're all in this together.  Life liberty & the pursuit of happiness FTW.

Respect nothing to do with another person. True respect has everything to do with one self. It comes from the Latin prefix "re," meaning "again," and the Latin verb "spectare," meaning "to look at". So what respect is, is taking another look at oneself.

What many "minorities" don't realize is that they are only using them as an excuse to remove the first amendment.  Once our speech rights are gone and everything degenerates the system will have open season on these people because they didn't care about them to begin with; in additon to that, they have stretched a very dangerous rubber band by bottling up peoples angry tendencies.

If people are forbidden from expressing what they are angry about, no matter how weird it is, it doesn't just dissipate and it will actually magnify the problem.  It would be naive to think that corporations and govs have spent large sums of money on studying our behavior and are unaware of this.  Ironically many minorities are helping to destroy a right that keeps them safe.  Once they are successful they are phuuuuuucked!  We live in such bizarre times.

PC = People Control.

Tue, 12/29/2015 - 00:21 | 6973050 nevertheless
nevertheless's picture

What troubles me is that the racists and the haters will use this idea that PC is bad (which most certainly is) to beat up on so called “liberals”. These people are just pawns (or plants) playing for the same people who use PC to control us. There is a war of manipulation, and if you wish to divide America, you are serving those same forces.

You will note the Zionist media is first on the scene whenever there is a protest about racism (on our colleges or inner cities), just like their Zionist brothers in Hollywood, who fall over themselves making movies reminding us all about slavery (yet they always seem to leave out the FACT that Jews were principal dealers in human slavery from its inception).

The point is, this is about divide and conquer. Create two extremes, and force Americans to pick a side. The only real choice is not to accept their choice. Right and left is a contrivance of the Zionist media, when you are the weaker in number, divide and conquer your enemy.

PC is a tool of control, its main crime is it limits debate, takes away the tools to communicate honestly.

Jews/Zionists greatest goal in America is for the US to have open borders, what better way to marginalize a population, than split it along cultural lines: By the year 2050 America will be approaching majority minority, and by 2100 it will be majority Latino (If US Census data is to be believed).

Just like in Europe, Jews are pushing for open borders, yet you will find no such multiculturalism at Israel’s doorstep, quite to the contrary, the diversity the parasites spread for the West is only good for the sheep, not the masters.

We can’t call them illegal Aliens, so we called them illegal immigrants, we can’t call them illegal immigrants anymore (“people are not illegal”) so we call them undocumented immigrants, now they are just citizens in waiting…The Zionist media takes away the means to talk about the issue, because they know, any reasonable person will surmise that the flow must be stopped and the law enforced.

A united America is the last thing those who own our government want, no more wars for Israel, no more spying on Americas, jobs sent overseas, illegal immigrants, Federal reserve, democrat or republican….

One last point, those here referring the use of the word “N-i-g-g-e-r” as part of the PC battle, are either racists or wolves in sheep’s clothing. African Americans are subject to the same ills that the rest of us are. African Americans did not come here sneaking across our border, but taken from their homes in Africa…. The same divide between liberals and conservative is created between whites and blacks. If you can’t have a discussion without needing to use the word Nigg@# then you need to work a bit on your vocabulary, and your morals.

Yes, 90% were taken and sold to traders on the coast by other AFRICANS.

and THAT is what is deemd Politically incorrect to remind folks.  Straight from that bastion of liberals the NYT:

How did slaves make it to these coastal forts? The historians John Thornton and Linda Heywood of Boston University estimate that 90 percent of those shipped to the New World were enslaved by Africans and then sold to European traders. The sad truth is that without complex business partnerships between African elites and European traders and commercial agents, the slave trade to the New World would have been impossible, at least on the scale it occurred.  http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/23/opinion/23gates.html?_r=0

I note you didn't comment at all on his statements regarding the Jewish role, without question disproportionate whether or not as dominant as the Farrakhans claim.

let me guess - a 'canard' just like the Jewishness of the Old Bolsheviks, right?

There are no truths more suppressed than truths relating to Jewish power and influence.

And I do mean truths - not wild, paranoid conspiracy theories, fabrications or forgeries - *truths* that are rejected, a priori, precisely because they are true, but conflict with the well-honed image of Israel and Jews as perpetual, blameless, sacred victim.

First of all, the New York Times is NOT liberal, it is zionist.

Wanting open borders is NOT liberal, it is media contrived correct speech.

What informs you what is "liberal or conservative", polls? Who takes and disseminates that polling data? If a poll does not match the desired PC/zionist argument, will it be reported? In other words, polls HAVE to reflect media/zionist spin or they will not be used, and your poll will go nowhere.

How is it PC to remind folks about slavery, when Hollywood does it ALL THE TIME?!

African-Americans are free to go back to those homes any time they want. Not many takers though. Fact is today's African-Americans enjoy standards of living and freedom unmaginable in their native lands and should be on their knees thanking da Lawd that their ancestors were brought here.

Political correctness is a Psyop to supress white people so white genocide can be done to them using forced assimilation.

Force them into minority status in every nation they inhabit (happening now)... then intermarriage and violent crime will take over and wipe us out.

White women of child bearing age are only 4% of world population...

...and if you think for a second it cant happen cause they "need" us think again. Asians/Indians come here on H1-B to replace us.

Sarkozy has said that interbreeding isnt optional for French people. Here's a video of him saying it:

that's stinking, lying propaganda:

"Sarkozy has said that interbreeding isnt optional for French people. Here's a video of him saying it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wP3CnYGCaEE "

the video on youtube is heavely edited to give this impression. the conservative Sarkozy is usually more accused of being a racist himself, usually

here, for example: http://www.irr.org.uk/news/sarkozys-racist-legacy/ the article is called "Sarkozy's racist legacy"

"Sarkozy played the French national identity card (he created the chillingly named and short-lived Ministry of Immigration and National Identity), the anti-multiculturalism card, the Christian values card, the anti-immigration card, the anti-right-to-vote-for-immigrants card – the whole ‘Lepenist’ pack. "

in this context, there is a huge lot of propaganda in English - specifically targeted at Americans - that is very, very keen on painting a picture of Europeans and particularly continentals being socialists... period

Fact is that Sarkozy is the leader of a French national-conservative party that recently rebranded itself as "The Republicans", which promotes the ideals of a French Christian Culture and Identiy, and is very critical of the multiculturalism of the French Left

-----

in a pinch, you could say that Sarkozy is a kind of French Donald Trump... but Sarkozy is more conservative then Trump and Trump is more liberal (classic) then Sarkozy

but again, you would have to understand the meanings and definitions of the political vocabulary in order to understand this last sentence

Sarkozy will say anything to get and ratain power. Given that the race mixing injunction doesn't win him many votes I'd say it's more reflective of his real agenda rather than the "conervative" blather he comes out with at election time. There are very few J00s against race mixing.  Except when it come to themselves of course.

this isn't about Sarkozy, though. it's about propaganda trying to put words out of context in Sarkozy's mouth. why? because of a different agenda

I note an interesting "it's more reflective of his real agenda rather than the "conervative" blather he comes out with at election time"

why is Sarkozy, why are the French conservatives only "conservative" for you? what is your problem in picturing French + Conservative?

too much propaganda about that?

I've always said that to impose your will on another, for good reasons or bad, is evil. That should be the end of it.

BUT one must also be prepared to defend and face the consequences of one's actions. The problem, as I see it, with most of the anti-PC brigade is that their biggest gripe stems from wanting to live in a deluded consequence-free world where they can spew whatever comes to their tiny brains and have nobody criticize them. It's infantile. If you feel the need to spew hatred and derision, then you must be able to defend your position and face the exact same hatred and derision in return. OK, you fucking morons?

Oddly enough, I find the shrill noises of the PC brigade trying to stifle free speech as evil, horrible and disgusting as the morons who whine incessantly that people are criticizing them for using free speech to make the lives of innocent people as difficult as possible because of some difference in colour, race, religion, sex, etc. As far as I'm concerned, the PC and anti-PC brigade deserve each other.

Where it is REALLY evil is in legislating what is and what isn't appropriate to freely speak. It is what I call a Moron Law - mostly done because of the aforementioned fucking morons who make large sections of society divided and constantly fuel hatred that culminate in violence - a social engineering law enacted to stifle morons but ends up affecting us all. The very worst examples end up costing real debate, real freedom - our hard-won and precious right to question power. IMO this PC, anti-PC business is just a diversion. Volaire was absolutely right when he said, "Think for yourselves and let others enjoy the privilege to do so, too".

The race laws enacted because of the fucking morons have cost untold billions in "positive discrimination" (Affirmative action) and made a mockery of every system of fairness and justice. Nobody told the idiots that the laws are themselves discriminatory against anyone not black. It makes it awkward, even impossible to legitimately criticize a black person in power and that's where we are now. Unable to question power. The anti-semetism laws are even worse for the obvious reason that there really does appear to be a zionist jewish conspiracy stemming from Israel's control of the political systems through powerful lobbys, think tanks and the infiltration of the civil services (The permanent government in action) but we're not allowed to talk about it for fear of being prosecuted! It's ridiculous. I've often commented that the zionists in banking, politics and multinational media corporations, as well as the permanent government, commit grievous crimes with impunity - they are invariably found at the epicentre of crimes against humanity in finance and geopolitics - yet they are protected by law from criticism. The whole fucking Idiocracy (almost) makes me want to weep and laugh at the same time.

In many ways the p.c. movement had its origins with the Frankfurt School  ... Like the propaganda efforts to get the US into world war 1 {the quid pro quo of the Balfour Declaration} it was very largely a Jewish, Marxist, and Zionist group and movement.

Depends who initiates it.

Top down PC is all about hiding reality under the carpet; sad but true; so it is propaganda more often than not. Its political 'status quo' which says : move along, nothing here to see!

Thats how power matrices work; since time immemorial; and PAx Americana is a deep state power matrix.

But when its initiated from the common man its about human rights or social equality; and that is the OTHER side of the coin. What Spartacus started in Rome was PC for the slave class, and the Oligarchy of Rome didn't like that!

Jesus asked for PC for his followers...etc.etc.etc.

So lets not do "whitewash" jobs around socio-political concepts. Socrates was the first western philosopher to say that. Its how western Man learned to reason.

Concepts do not belong to ANYBODY. They are a mediium of dialogue, which is good for society. Making a BOGEYMAN out of a concept is trashing logic and debate, its knee-jerking and making emotion checkmate logic.

That would be ANOTHER form of COUNTER-Propaganda!

Tylers, you do often play that game!

The "Common man" these days has the vice-like clamp of mass media to form his views. Therefore his views are the views of the controllers of the media,  the Jews.

And the Jews are the supreme race,  ask them.

He wants to mix all races together so that they are more easily controlled.

If you are black and you think that the mixing of the races is to your advantage,  you are wrong. We will all be despised when the Jew gets his way.
