Not there yet, Happy New Year folks!!!
These last two weeks went around wishing all the good stuff to customers and acquaintances. Then, managed to mention that I was ‘skeptical’ of 2016. That would not surprise me if I would miss 2015.
I did NOT get a single confirmation. Every single one complained about 2015. Two told me that, 2015 was the worst year ever.
Sometimes I wonder about some of the Hedgers understanding of what’s really happening. However, out there, people have absolutely no clue of what’s happening, if ever.
That was a content free post...
I would add the elections in Macedonia in late April, a country with a huge Muslim (Albanian) minority, destabilized by the refugee crisis and an important transit country for Russian pipeline and Chinese New Silk Road Projects. The U.S. already tried to initiate a Colour Revolution there last year. These elections have the potential to destabilize the entire Balkan region.
The big events will be the ones we don't see coming; black swans
"Two told me that, 2015 was the worst year ever."
Me thinks that for someone to think that, they are younger than 40 and/or are a bit nieve about what a disaster really is, but I could be wrong.
I understand that "The worst year ever," is a relative statement, but all in all, unless you are fending off Boko Haram, fighting off an anti-biotic resistant infection, lived in Fukushima on March 11, 2011 or somehow got caught in a Wal Mart on a Black Friday, life might not be so bad.
Can't control what other people do or how they may treat us or the events that may transpire in our lives, but we have complete control over how we react.
There is a lot of evil in this world and its dark cousin "Ignorance" is always nearby.
We don't give up. We don't give in. We don't quit. We help those who genuinely need help. We teach those who have ears to hear. We learn from our mistakes and the mistakes of others, and we try to stay grateful for what we have.

On April 6th, the people in The Netherlands will vote by referendum for or against an association treaty between the EU and Ukraine, a treaty which they are already implementing, since Prime Minister Mark Rutte wants to look good as The Netherlands is now presiding over the EU for half a year.
