UBS has warned that the seven-year cycle in equities is rolling over, we could see a sharp 30% correction in stocks and that as per the headline of their ‘Technical Outlook 2016...
It's buttery smooth with a chintzy action. Also a little tricky to take down but you don't really have to do that anyway. Old-timey and shootable, it has a real hammer and everything.
The wood's nice and it shoots straight. I have a small scope on it (old eyes) now.
It has bagged many's the Necco and claybird. I don't feel much like hunting varmints anymore, but I'm ready for em.
Can you imagine if there was an electronic lock and the batteries weren't charged enough! You'd be shit out of luck. I can't understand why anyone would buy a gun safe with an electronic combo lock. I just don't get it.
Thank God that the President's guards won't have to worry about complying with a law like that! The police won't have to carry guns with electronic locks--they're always exempted from new gun laws! Always.
My Liberal coworkers look at me with a blank expression when I say stuff like that. Then they default to, "Well we have to do something..." It really is mindblowing, these folks are not stupid. Cognitive dissonance. If they take the next step in logic, they will have to be where we are on the topic and we just seem too primitive and uneducated if we resort to violence. Thing is violence WILL resort to you no matter what opinion you have of it. That is the one that had to sink into my own head. Only then do you go to the next step and face the facts that what is, is.

correct - again, that is why the Emperor's New Clothes story is so important - people by human nature will choose of their own willful cognitive ignorance bias dissonace - whatever, to disabuse themselves of their own recognition of a reality that disagrees with that which they have programmed via their LANGUAGE of sound, sight and hearing ....
the Mission of ZeroHedge for 2016 is to acknowledge the fakery of the Moon Landings and all accompanying deceptive scams upon our brother & sisters, Mothers & Fathers and of course, most importantly, upon all our GrandMothers and GrandFathers and sons and daughters
Mine has a low battery indicator - plus I change them out every year -
I have a key backup
The manual dial safe can also fail.
I unlock my safe every night before bed - so I can grab one of my SD guns without needing to mess with a combo.
I didn't use to do this - I can open my safe in less than 2 seconds - well I can 99% of the time -
One night around 3:00 AM my home alarm went off - I hit wrong number - so I started over - bad idea that doesn't work - took me a couple tries to get it open - half asleep / in the dark/ alarm sounding
Ended up being a bad alarm sensor - so false alarm but since then I unlock before bed.
Unless you have children, why bother with all that? If you feel the need to keep a piece under your goddamned pillow cocked & locked, that is what you do. Who determines the level of protection you can give your family?
No wrries, we'll just have to carry around whistles for every time we need to defend ourselves. We'll need whistles for when we are raped, whistles for when we are burglarized, whistles for when we are threatened, whistles for when we are murdered, whistles for when our property is trespassed on, separate whistles for our families....
Gee if only there was a device that could be used to protect ourselves and our property from criminals without needing to wait 5-10 minutes for authorities to come by. Oh well, I guess we will just have to rely on criminals' fear of whistles and their respect for laws written on paper in order to protect ourselves. If only such a device existed.... if only
That's almost what they have in Johannesburg, South Africa. Got a friend who lived there and recently left. Said you can't raise a family there. Too much crime. They don't even keep stats anymore.
After they outlawed guns in South Africa, starting with rifles and then pistols, you have a button in your house that you press and it calls the police. Home invasions are rampant and commonplace. The only problem is that the cops don't come for a couple hours. So if you aren't dead by then after the beating you've taken, they can at least untie you from the hog tie.
At least the citizens get that for their tax dollars.............someone to untie them...........
That's astonishing that guns were banned in South Africa. I had no idea. Lord knows as lawless as much of that continent is, one should be able to pick up an RPG at a reasonable price ... amazing what's going on ... disarming whites in S.A. Jexus.
My girlfriend (now wife) who lived alone arrived home one night and found her front door ajar. I lived about 24 miles away but I arrived before the police and cleared the house myself. The police did eventually come by, couple of hours later. This wasn't a rural call; she lived three miles from downtown Ft. Worth.
Someone had kicked it in and it wouldn't close all the way. I think she had walked up the steps or even opened the storm door before she noticed. Anyway whoever ransacked the place was thorough; for several reasons, I don't think it was a random job.
Thanks for that info. It looks like she was burgled by someone looking for something specific, but they'd gone by the time she arrived home (just as well for her).
My condolences; that's not a nice thing to experience.
If you can get your hands on a remington 788 buy it. Drop in a Timney trigger and shoot bugholes. They are wicked accurate.
I love muh little Henry .22 mag lever gun.

Sub-clause z109 says: "Unless you are politician's bodyguard."
Triggerless safety system!!! ha ha ha.
If the ATF wants to shove a biometric trigger system on us, they better start with themselves, FBI and Secret Service first.
Let's not forget the cop that was shot in Philly was shot with a stolen POLICE gun.
guns for everybody in he world !! so they can defend themself from unjust from anyone that is unjust, and not from anyone that is just.
It is very simple
Someone that is unjust has everything to fear, from the just.
Here 2 of Obama sons got shot at the liquor store
http://www.theburningplatform.com/2016/01/11/feel-good-story-of-the-day-5/
Yes indeed, and one of the little teen thug monsters had been arrested over 30 times already...Unbelievable.
I love what this bystander said: “They don’t play, and I don’t blame them,” a woman said of the storekeepers. “This (has) happened to them before.”
2nd fatal shooting of armed robbers since 2011 at this store. Perhaps the hood rats will learn this time?
Rainman, I wonder why that was ruled a homicide?
That was clearly a case of self defence.
Justifiable homicide is still homicide.
Homicide is just the cause of death. Self-defense is justifiable homicide.
Homicide is the cause of death. Maybe "natural causes", "lifestyle effects" or "natural selection" would be a better reason.
Clearly some of these troubled utes may be declared suicidal.
But, but, but, but, they were just turning their lives around......
One was even enrolled in college. (note that Triton College has a 4% graduation rate, yup, that's not a typo, four percent)
"... filled out his FSA form and everything."
I heard he was accepted into UCLA (University Closest to Lambert Avenue...College of DuPage)
That's not a college, it's a student loan harvesting machine.
Family members say that Keshawn was studying to become a rocket surgeon. It's just so sad.
Poor Hussein has more cryin' to do. Surely, all the bleeding heart white wimenz will adopt one to correct this injustice!
I'm saving the photo, it's a fine example of real gun control.
Two more down, eight trillion to go... shoot faster, dammit...
Fuck off, Maobama.
Obama on guns.
Backwards as always.
All Americans, except for the police. They get the good stuff like standard-capacity mags, full-auto weapons, etc.
At this point it wouldn't surprise me if Fed.gov has issued some AC-130's for our hometown heros on the thin blue line.

Criminals are exempted too.
Funny how the politicians don't seem to get that.

I don't get the - "bother with all that" - it takes 2 seconds to unlock my safe -
IMHO only an idiot keeps a gun under their pillow - but support your right to do stupid things.
I keep all my guns - except the one I have inside my waistband - locked up -
1. I don't want them to be stolen when I am not home
2. I don't want to come home - surprise someone that has broken into my house and get shot with one of my own guns.

...then the next schmuck will take office.
i want to be a safe criminal. i want a gun like that.

I never was much good at whistling, but I sure would like a sonic screwdriver.
Personally, I like nail guns.

blame Zuma.

So as you could get at the jamb?
(That awful pun might only work in UK English, I'm not quite sure.)
That was very funny. Thankyou ;-)
Yes, it would go down well in the UK. Brits like to play on words...(but I've noticed quite a few Americans on ZH are pretty good at it too).
