Teenage "Terrorist" Attacks Teacher With Machete In France
Just moments ago, unidentified gunmen stormed a mall in a mainly Shiite neighborhood in eastern Baghdad, killing 10 and taking some 75 hostages.
Although no one immediately took credit for the assault, the most likely culprit is of course ISIS, which is struggling to hold onto key territory in the country in the face of a resurgent Iraqi military and persistent attacks from Iran's Shiite militias.
While today's Baghdad attack is brazen - it marks an incursion into the Iraqi capital - it's sadly par for the proverbial course in the region where at least four wars are currently playing out.
Of course attacks are not par for the course in the West which is why when a Friday night in Paris turns into the Wild West, it's the biggest story on the planet. And while we doubt the Western public will ever become as desensitized to attacks on "civilized" countries as it is to attacks in the Mid-East, lone wolf incidents are happening more frequently.
Just last week for instance, a man later identified as a refugee who spent time in a German center for asylum seekers ran into a police station in northern Paris screaming "Allahu Akbar" and waving a meat cleaver.
Well don't look now, but yet another knife-wielding "terrorist" was on the loose in France earlier today. An individual who police would later say "does not seem to be in full control of his faculties" attacked worshippers at the Marseille synagogue with a machette.
"Binyamin Amsalem, a teacher, sustained light injuries to his hand when a man wielding a machete attacked him when he was on his way to the synagogue for morning prayers," The Times of Israel reports. The attacker - a 16 year old - threw the knife and ran. He was caught 10 minutes later.
The boy allegedly yelled "Allahu Akbar" prior to the attack.
As for Amsalem, he used a copy of the Torah to defend himself.

This story seems 100% kosher to me.
The world seems to be going completely NUTS. More so (and faster) than normal.

Why would the guy throw the machete? Machetes aren't throwing knives. And why did he run? He hadn't even done anything except yell Allahu Akbar?
Seems more like some kid was arrested, and THEN the machete was 'found' (which is how they 'do' in Israel), along with this man's minor injuries (which seem like they could have happened in any kitchen in the land).
All the Jews will now call this a miracle. Let's just get anyone who believes some anthropomorphic super being is watching over us in one place, altogether, and leave them there. Oh wait! I think that's already happened. It's called earth and it's filled with deluded morons. Let's nuke'em

Hmmm, are we going to have to ban those machetes?
Why should anyone be allowed to own a machete? All knives over 2" should be banned! And it should be required that all knives 2" and under be sold dull and with a safety cover for added security against cuts. Sharpening anything should also be illegal. There, I think we're all safe now; from knives anyway..well knives owned by people that are willing to obey the law...

They are. In Europe, carrying a knife lengthier than the palm of you hand is forbidden, barring a legitimate motive. If caught with one, unless you have a veeeeery good reason ("Defending Your Constitutional Rights" isn't one), you can get yourself up to one year in jail and a 3000 euros fine.

Does a lone bloke wielding a massive knife really class as terrorism now? A kid got stabbed to death outside a pub near my house a few months back. No one shouted Allahu Akbar so I guess no one involved was terrorised as the poor kid lay on the floor bleeding to death.
No one called Terrorism when a bloke with one eye went around throwing grenades and shooting people in the area, including two police, a few years back either.

Seriously. Not every crime is the result of religion. There are sociopaths of every race, color and creed (I am not downplaying the crime, but Ethiopia is only 34% Muslim, 60% Christian). Ethnicity, (lack of) culture, and sociopathy should not be entirely excluded from the equation.
