What is his issue using the number eight when seven is correct? What is his issue with claiming that this is his 8th SOTU? He gave an interview recently in which he said that he has been the president for the past 8 years. He and his speech writers should be saying seven, not eight. Is he signaling something? Is he saying, "I'm done. Don't watch what I do over the next 12 months because nothing will matter."?

Maybe I don't understand State of the Union Addressess, but 10 US soldiers were captured by Iran today and the "Commander" in Chief and his cabinet seem to be just having a good laugh like the party is really about to get started around 10:30. It seems insane to me.
I'm guessing the American media didnt inform you why they were "captured". They strayed into Iranian territorial waters in a patrol boat. How would the US deal with an Iranian patrol boat in their international waters? They'd probably blow them to pieces and ask questions later.
