This Is The Cartoon Germany Hands Out To Sexually Frustrated Refugees
Earlier this evening, we noted that the western German town of Bornheim has banned adult male asylum seekers from its indoor public pool after some German women complained of harassment.
"There have been complaints of sexual harassment and chatting-up going on in this swimming pool ... by groups of young men, and this has prompted some women to leave (the premises)," the town’s deputy mayor said.
Bornheim, as it turns out, is just a stone’s throw away from Cologne where a wave of sexual assaults allegedly perpetrated by men of “Arab origin” at a New Year’s Eve festival has mushroomed into a bloc-wide scandal.
Now, officials from across Europe are struggling to deflect criticism and devise a way to ensure that women are safe in large crowds.
As we documented on Thursday, Switzerland has adopted an Austrian cartoon flyer for its upcoming Lucerne carnival. The pictogram lays out various instances of accepted behavior such as kissing and praying, while making it clear that flying into a mad rage and open-hand slapping women and small children is frowned upon in polite society.
Well now, in a story that combines the concern about public pools and the effort to dissuade lewd behavior with cartoons, The Local reports that “in Bavaria, swimming pools have issued leaflets with simple pictorial instructions on behaviour for migrants who may never have swum in public before.”
Officials dreamed up the leaflets in 2013 after witnessing an increasing number of "problems" at the city's 18 public swimming pools.
"The ground rule of respect for women – whatever clothing they're wearing – is unfortunately not respected by all our swimmers. That's why there is an explicit indication about it," a Munich city spokesman said.
The "explicit indication" the spokesman mentions is a slightly creepy first-person view of a hand reaching out to touch the behind of an unsuspecting female swimmer:
That is unacceptable, as is drowing others (#4 below), pushing women into the pool (#3 below), and leaping from the side onto a screaming blonde (#7 below).

We'd be remiss if we didn't mention that this is the same logic employed by Cologne mayor Henriette Reker who, in the wake of the New Year's Eve assaults, suggested that one solution to the "problem" would be to "explain to people from other cultures that the jolly and frisky attitude during our Carnival is not a sign of sexual openness." Neither is wearing a bikini.
We'll close with a modified version of what we said on Thursday with regard to the Austrian pictograph: "...whether the cartoons will be successful in taming the refugees' more base instincts, stop by a Bavarian public pool to find out."

As a world business traveller I am appalled by the behavior of Muslim men everywhere. If you get stuck around them in a line, just leave and come back later. They have a general lack of respect for everyone and don't follow any rukes of socially acceptable behavior.

Last week I had the pleasure of watching a group of fifteen or so of the Arab kind cut in the customs line. One of the Chinese customs officials tried to remove them from the line and send them to the back, but two of them tried arguing and the rest of them cut under the next barricade. Two others grabbed a Chinese girl's ass and she screamed. Those two guys were escorted out by an armed guard. Hopefully the Chinese police shot them in the head outside the airport.
What should have been a half hour turned into a two hour customs nightmare.
I've also been told by Chinese factory owners that parts of Shenzen have been overrun by Somalians. They get in the country and throw their passports away. Entire blocks have turned into Africam ghettos, complete with rapes, murders, and other crimes. When you stand in the customs line in China, you see a lot of people that really don't look like they belong there. The Chinese people that live near the new African enclaves are asking the Chinese government to do something. The owner of one of the factories I do business with said that if the government doesn't step in, the mafia will. They will just go in amd wipe out every African they see.
You can't reason with garbage people. In the end you have to incinerate them, like a pile of rotting crap.
I've lived and worked in Muslim countries from Morocco to Pakistan and I fully concur. Whereas I have individual Muslim friends by and large Muslims are as you describe them.

They weren't brought up at all. Growing to adult size does not require proper upbringing. Remember: Women aren't allowed to tell males what to do, so women do not bring up their sons with any principles at all. If they have a father, all they learn is when prayer time is. That's why Morocco is not taking their citizens back. Spiegel writes that the embassy in Berlin is uncooperative when it comes to would be deportees.
In cases where the mother absolutely needs to leave the house and no male relative is available to accompany her, it is quite acceptable that a 7 year old acts as chaperon for her!

When did every illustration start to called a cartoon? The last few medical talks I attended saw every single drawing referred to as a cartoon. Netter must be turning in his grave. (I assume he he dead by now).
Cartoons were originally .... small colored drawings .... used by artist teams .... to co-ordinate painting .... of ceilings .... like the Sistine chapel .... I read that somewhere ?
Are you referring to Netter, the medical doctor turned medical illustrator? His books were invaluable while I was in medical school - and even later when I became an orthopedic surgeon!!!! (In addition to his books, which were very large if you recall, Netter also did illustrations for surgeons in booklets sent to surgeons for free by a pharmceutical company - I forrget which one. But they were priceless! Even the older one which my uncle (a general surgeon) gave to me when I graduated from medical school and told him I had accepted a surgical residency. (I attended the same medical school as he had years earlier, so he was delighted that I also going to become a surgeon.)
