With Hillary's demise accelerating, and Trump's lead over the GOP field surging, it appears the "money" has finally figured it out. For the first time during this campaign, Trump has become the bookies' favorite to win the Republican nomination, surging past Bush who it appears has finally lost the real "money" backers...
Of course, this should not be a surprise...
Even after last night's debate slugfest - the lead remains as wide as ever.

Bookies set the odd based on the amount of money bet on each choice. Trump is the gambler's choice.
Bookies set the initial odds and then adjust the odds to balance their books.
If they make an intial mistake then it will end up costing them their vig and then some.

Trump will pick his own VP and like everything he has done it will work for him and probably be unexpected. Most unlikely he will pick any of his current competitors as VP, not because they are currently competitors but because they won't bring anything useful to him. He will probably employ a number of them in cabinet slots and some on the campaign trail.

Replace EVERY politician, who has ever kowtowed to corporations, or any kind of "our group, first"" special interests.
Create higher standards of accountability. - ANY government official shouldn't be allowed to act on inside information...on the contrary, the penalties for their actions should be MORE SEVERE THAN those of an ordinary citizen, precisely BECAUSE they're placed in a position of trust, on the basis of public confidence.
They should act in good faith, and the penalties stemming from any failure to do so, should be severe enough to far outweigh the incentives.
In short form, remove the incentives.
Simply put:
They get caught dirty, then give them the worst treatment that's legally permissible by law.
Let them FEAR people.

The point is, politicians, judges, cops, or anyone else who holds "a position based on public trust" should be held to a much higher standard, than your average person.
