Putin Is Winning The Final Chess Match With Obama

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Ron Holland via PravdaReport.com,

The world press is filled with violence and sexual attack horror stories about the Islamic refugees escaping from Syria and other war torn countries of the Middle East to Greece and consequently flooding into all areas of Europe. It is actually very easy to travel from Syria to Lebanon and then take the ferry to Turkey and from there to Greece and subsequently the mainland overland to Europe. This is now big business organized like a one-way tour package from the Middle East to Europe.

Although there obviously are some ISIS fighters and Islamic militants slipping into Europe under cover of the humanitarian crises most are simply Sunni Moslems escaping the poverty, death and destruction of foreign military intervention in the region. Yes the sex crimes are a real problem because the majority of those escaping the region are men looking for work coming from a conservative society to the open societies of Europe.

Most immigrants enter Europe through the economic basket case of Greece where the economy has already been destroyed by too much government debt, corruption and EU banking excesses so Greece can afford to do little to stem the Islamic refugee tide. While a case can be made that the location of Syria and Lebanon adjacent to Turkey and the ease of transportation to Greek islands just offshore is helping the flow to Europe. Still the organized nature of the operation makes me wonder if this is also an undercover operation designed to create a new mission for NATO at the same time weakening the economy of Europe to further Washington's economic interests today in the Obama Crash of 2016.

The world is now in recession at best and maybe flirting with a global depression. This means politicians will do what is best for their national political future and the consequences for the national economy, citizens or business future is of little consequence to them. This also suggests that global alliances will mean little when domestic national politicians are fighting for survival.

Here is how the chess matches have turned out so far in the Putin/Obama competition.

Chess Match 1 - Consider the pattern of Washington actions against Russia. First Washington supported the overthrow of the legitimate but pro Russian government of Ukraine. The goal was three fold, first to control and cut off Russian gas exports to Europe through Ukraine, second to force Russia to vacate their warm water naval base in Crimea or else act militarily against Ukraine and create the fear of a Russian threat against all of Europe. This would force Europe to depend more on NATO that is an extension of the American military power in Europe. Putin's response was checkmate, as he wisely didn't take the bait and this plan failed to create the desired Russian military threat to strengthen NATO and US leadership in Europe against Russia.

Chess Match 2 - The second attempt was to overthrow Assad allowing ISIS to do the dirty work thus opening up a Qatar gas pipeline to Europe again competing with and ending European dependence on Russian gas. This would have meant curtailing much of the Russian gas profits, taxes and government revenues. Again surprisingly Putin acted to defend Syria and Assad from ISIS and again Putin checkmated Washington.

Chess Match 3 - We are now in the middle of the third chess game between Putin & Obama. This game is the reason for Washington's destruction and desolation of much of the Middle East. Again remember Washington's foreign policy objectives are to control Middle East energy resources and force Russia to stand down against American global hegemony.

A strong and united NATO is necessary to put pressure on Russia and since the collapse of communism and the perceived Soviet threat to Europe, NATO has had little reason to exist. Well now I would suggest that part of the Islamic threat and massive movement of refugees to Europe is being manipulated and manufactured as a means to recreate a mission for NATO forces in Europe. A strong Washington led NATO will allow the United States to bring more pressure against Russia.

If I am right here, then what is the checkmate course of action for Russia in Syria and Lebanon? The ultimate solution is for Russia to stop the movement of refugees and Islamic radicals to Europe by forcing ISIS out of Syria and back into Iraq and effectively blocking off the escape routes to Turkey both overland and by ferry.

This would probably take more than just Syrian troops as it may mean Russian troops on the ground in both countries after military security requests from Syria and Lebanon to halt the exodus and end ISIS occupation of Syria. Security in Syria and Lebanon would help to halt the refugee flow to Europe and Putin and Russia would then get the credit they deserve for this action to protect Europe. This successful outcome would guarantee good relations between the people of Europe and Russia ultimately forcing more European politicians and governments to restore friendly and close relations with Putin's Russia.

This would be the final checkmate needed to force the Obama Administration to reevaluate Neocon policies in the Middle East. American military actions and occupation have already destroyed much of the prosperity of the region. When this is combined with our earlier attempt to weaken Russia and Iran with lower oil prices not taking into account the growing threat of global recession and depression the problem today only gets worse. Today the Middle East is looking at increased instability and a lower standard of living at a time when Europe is suffering economically and can not absorb the inflow of refugees.

Finally, take a look at a map of Europe and you will see the 28 members of the European Union and most are in NATO. Then look at the lone country not in the EU or NATO that can still control it's borders and policies and it is the neutral but still independent Switzerland. Neutral Switzerland can be a safe haven for your personal and retirement wealth in the coming global crash and depression.

Yes Russia and Europe would do well to work together to counter and halt the flood of Middle East refugees to Europe before the current global recession/depression destroys the prosperity of the region. While the refugee threat might have been a reasonable tool or Washington geopolitical tactic to restore NATO and therefore American leadership over Europe under normal economic conditions, the situation is now getting out of control. With today's global economic slowdown and the risk of depression threatening the economy of Europe this tactic borders on economic genocide for Europe and must be countered and restrained for the peace and prosperity of the region. Let us all work together and hope and pray that the Obama Crash of 2016 does not turn into the Obama Global Depression of 2016 because of some poorly timed geopolitical brinkmanship and maneuvering suggested by Washington neocon advisors.

Stopped reading right there.  We've all seen the pictures and videos.  Most of these people are males of millitary age.  They are an army of conquest by most sane definitions.  To say otherwise is equivalent to eating bullshit for the taste.

Edit:  Went back and read it.  Not impressed.  Everyone knows that Switzerland is no longer a safe haven.  Their CB's complicity with the FR damns them.  Don't buy the BS.

Of course Putin has a good chance of winning. He made it where he is by his abilities and wit. Obama got there because of affirmative action and the backing of the clan.
The clan is the only thing that complicates this game. They are well organized, resourceful and have no problem sending Americans to their deaths to further their aims.

Putin is in a position of weakness, not strength. He is forced to respond to circumstances that are being imposed on him by outside forces, rather than him acting on his own initiative and on his own terms.

1st true comment and nobody likes it. Before Obama Putin had 100% of Ukraine under control and 100% of Syria and 100% of Iraq. After Obama he has 1/3 of Ukraine, half of Syria gone and half of Iraq. It's like this: Somebody attacks you with a gun in order to kill you but he only takes out your eye and fails to kill you. Is this a victory for you? NO, you still lost your eye. Putin has bled a lot during the Obama reign and he can't take back what he lost. EVER.

My comments:

Regardless of whether this is true or not this in example of how important it is to control the big media in order to be able to bring forward certain news items or suppress certain news items.

Timing of this kind of news is also in many cases interesting. If Putin stands out as a bad guy it is easier to justify actions against Russia. Or Putin.

My assessment is also that Putin´s position within Russia is strengthened if people within the FSB, Russian politicians, businessmen, bureaucrats and so on believe that Putin ordered the assassination of Litvinenko.

Outside Russia, where fear of Putin doesn´t matter very much, other aspects are more important. The image of Putin in this case depends very much on whether the general public thinks that it was justified or not to kill Litvinenko. If people think that Putin killed Litvinenko because Litvinenko said that Putin was a paedophile and protected drug lords I reckon that most people think that it was a little bit hard to kill him but that Litvinenko had himself to blame for what happened. But if they think that Litvinenko was some kind of human right activist I suppose that Putin stands out as a bad guy, except for some old-fashioned communists and left-socialists who think that human right activists in Russia just are people who support oligarchs that have stolen money from the people and that Putin is slightly better than the oligarchs and the human rights activists. They probably think that killing such people is justified, just like most Americans think that killing Osama bin Laden and his co-workers is justified.

One thing that puzzles me is that Yasser Arafat also seems to have been poisoned by Polonium, see

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cause_of_Yasser_Arafat%27s_death

[- - -] Exhumation of Arafat's remains[edit]

On 9 July 2012, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas approved the exhumation of Arafat's body in response to the Al Jazeera story about polonium.[60] On 8 August 2012, Swiss experts were invited to the West Bank to prepare the examination of Yasser Arafat's remains for possible poisoning.[61] The lab said that they wanted guarantees that the investigation would not be used for political purposes, saying, "Meanwhile, our main concern is to guarantee the independence, the credibility and the transparency of any involvement that we may have."[62] On 27 November 2012, three teams of international investigators collected samples from Arafat's body and the surrounding soil in the mausoleum in Ramallah. A French, a Swiss and a Russian team have independently investigated the samples.[63][64][65]

Publication of the results of the studies was delayed, reportedly on request of the Palestinian Authority, who feared they could have negative impact on the peace talks.[66]

On 6 November 2013, al-Jazeera reported that the Swiss forensic team had found levels of polonium in Arafat's ribs and pelvis 18 times higher than normal, and were 83 percent confident that polonium poisoning occurred, but Professor Bochud disagreed with this interpretation by Al Jazeera and only states that the poisoning hypothesis by polonium is "moderately supported".[67] According to a journalist, Luis Lema, on a probability scale ranging from one to six, death by polonium poisoning is around five.[68] [- - -]”

Arafat died in 2004. Litvinenko in 2006.

You must keep in mind that Israel's goal is balkanization of the entire ME so no country has power to oppose Greater Israel and ejection of all Palestinians from Greater Israel..  Stupid goal, of course.

But 9/11 was a serious crime, and Israeli-Neocons will hang if peace is allowed, so there can be no peace.  Add the fact that MSM is a COINTELPRO operation for the political system, keeping us divided and ruled, we have a problem getting rid of our rulers.

But we will : the day we citizens decided, it is easy to end the government.  The question is 'what next?', should be answered first.

My comments:

I agree although Putin never really controlled Ukraine and took less than 1/3 of Ukraine.

My impression is that Putin is a moderate opponent of those who now rule the US and Europe. He seems to be the kind of guy who is willing to co-operate, but not 100%. Just 60 % or something like that.

Putin´s big victory so far is the confiscation of Khodorkavsky´s assets. That made him popular. But in other respects I´m not so sure that he has been very successful. It´s hard to compete with people that got access to almost unlimited amounts of money, great brains, lots of experience and existing strong positions. My impression is also that Russia is still being looted. Putin would probably have consolidated his popularity better if more assets had found their way to middle-class and working-class citizens. But I guess that it would have been hard to accomplish that. I´m not sure which strategy he should have chosen if he actually had wished to transfer more wealth to ordinary people. Taxes would have created a strong incentive to increase efforts to buy politicians. Perhaps higher wages that would reduce profits and dividends would be a feasible strategy. Shortage of labour combined with strong demand for labour would probably consolidate Putin´s popularity among ordinary people while the opposite should undermine Putin´s popularity.

SilverDOG's picture

kavaron,

Putin's losses are the least amidst the group.

Putin has possession, US has more borrowed, more extended, and less credibility.

Putin knowingly contributes to US collapse without asininely reducing his core.

US is running on fumes of majority belief, cooked up in a media medical lab.

Remotely considering Putin has bled, while bleeding the enemy?

Ever is a long time. I like your analogy, but it is not entirely acurate. Imagine your allegorical fight. Only your opponent is twice your size, has 6 times the strength (Russia's economy is one sixth the size of the US economy), and has five times as many weapons. In this case, if you manage to hold your own in a fight, and to emerge alive, and with only a missing eye and a few missing teeth, you're not doing so badly. Furthermore, you managed to prevent your oppnent from achieving his objectives.

In that case, I'd say that is a win. Saying it's not is like Israel saying they "won" the 2006 war against hezbollah. But Israel never accomplished their objective, which was the destruction of Hezbollah. Hezbollah did accomplish their objective, which was to remain a viable military force.

Now honestly, why is such pseudoscience? Putin before Obama controls 100% the Ukraine, Syria, Iraq? Please tell me Putin controls still 100% Burma, Easter Island, Papua and I can sleep well at night.

The law of the boomerang and the compressed spring has not been canceled. During Obama reign has bled a lot the US, NATO, EU, Saudi Arabia, the Ukraine, other US allies, and bleeding from wounds self inflicted.

fleur de lis's picture

Agree 100% that this is more than just poor refugees looking for a better life. The whole thing was planned by the usual sewer rats in power. This mass migration is incapable of assimilation and will build hostile colonies while picking up social benefits and welfare checks from the infidels whom they have been taught to despise.

Most of the migrant pawns are single men without families and no access to women. They come from regions where women are covered up for their own safety but are suddenly among beautiful, uncovered women everywhere who do as they please, and the migrants are immediately disoriented. They think that infidel women are beneath them so they try to take what they believe to be rightfully theirs.

The infidel women are repulsed by their aggressive behavior and recoil from the migrants who in turn become angry. Liberated women everywhere in an open society who disdain the migrants but the migrants don't understand why.

The migrants don't understand why nobody is following the script. They are used to being in charge all the time, they have been taught that they are superior to infidels therefore they have no respect for them or their women. Back home in the good old days they could do whatever they wanted with both Islamic and infidel women but now that only gets them hostility from the infidels which is not supposed to happen. So they get more aggressive. The migrants are too stupid to know it but that is in fact their job description -- foment social chaos to invite draconian laws. After that the NWO will dismiss them en masse.

These single male migrants cannot assimilate into a liberal society after a lifetime of stunted thinking. They are a real and present danger to women of all ages. They should submit to sterilization as a requirement to stay, or go back to the desert. That alone would send them gladly running back to their ISIS cousins.

Demdere's picture

Your 'no assimilation is possible' statement is insane.  In fact, you cannot point to more than a few un-assimilable cultural combinations around the world.  Amish and a couple of ultra-conservative religions nevertheless have people leave, about 10% most eras.  There is the Amazonian tribe of 300 people who speak a language no one else can learn and who can't learn any other.

Other than that, assimilation is what people do.  Moslems and Christians and Jews inter-marry everywhere at rates predicted by relative income and education, no problems.  Except where there is strong prejudice, like Israel, that reduces intermarriage rates, does not eliminate them.

It is easy to assimilate a people, marry their women!  Good for everyone, hybrid vigor for all, both genetics and culture.  And if you don't get that point, you need to understand more evolutionary theory.  Pure strains are vulnerable, not special, good for producing crops, not minds.

fleur de lis's picture

You are a shallow thinker. And you must be very young. There is no comparison between the Amish, who are a part of the American story, and millions of Islamics who are suddenly amid cultures which are diametrically opposed to what they have always known.

To be fair, it is not really their fault -- the blame lies squarely with the NWO psychos, NATO, and various Western governments who blasted their countries of origin into heaps of rubble, leaving no social structure in place. Nor is it really their fault when they walk into a multi-culti trap which is already destroying European societies thanks to the pseudo-intellectuals in power.

Nevertheless, they cannot assimilate in such huge numbers into a completely alien environment which challenges everything they believe. Hence the siege mentality which produces the Islamic no go areas in so many European cities. They default back to what is familiar and live in mini-fortresses.

If the police needed to go into Amish country for any reason, do you think that they would be met with gunfire, rocks, or incendiaries? When a non-Amish person walks or drives through Amish country is he afraid of physical assault from angry Amish who hate non-Amish?

As for intermarriage, Western societies don't care who marries whom. This is not the case in Islamic societies and if their women marry out they are asking for socially sanctioned trouble. A legal brawl if they're lucky, physical assault or worse if they're not.

You're last paragraph is a dead giveaway that you are a product of marxist academians.

There is no chess match between Obama and Putin - they both work for the banksters at the IMF and BIS.

Kirk2NCC1701's picture

Technically, that's correct.  Because reality shows that Russia still uses fiat currency (no Gold-Ruble, no Petro-Ruble).  The cold hard truth is, it still uses the BIS/SWIFT, rather than roll out its own version of SWIFT (RIFT?).

ZH talked up RIFT in 2014-2015, but its 2015 Q4 rollout went rather quiet.  I've heard that "Money talks", but it seems that "fiat talks louder".
