Is Twitter "Shadow-Banning" Donald Trump?

Tyler Durden's picture

Authored by Paul Joseph Watson, originally posted at,

Twitter is provably censoring Donald Trump in order to prevent him raising money for his presidential campaign.

A tweet sent out by Trump yesterday to promote his #MillionDollarMatch donation drive does not appear on Trump’s profile page nor did it appear on the feed of anyone following him.

You can check for yourself. Here is the tweet sent out by Trump yesterday and here is his main profile page – which doesn’t show the tweet. The tweet has been buried as if it never existed.

This is yet another example of Twitter shadow banning – where people on a designated ‘blacklist’ have their tweets relegated on search results and hidden from users’ timelines, while leftist politicians and commentators on a ‘whitelist’ have their tweets promoted.

A Twitter insider admitted to Breitbart back in February that Twitter had indeed begun shadow banning politically incorrect users, a claim verified by a senior editor at a major digital publisher.

A Trump tweet in which he declared that “the establishment and special interests are absolutely killing our country” was also shadow banned by Twitter back in April.

While Twitter is censoring Trump, it has repeatedly been accused of gaming its algorithms in support of Hillary. Back in February, users were irate after the social media giant appeared to censor the anti-Hillary hashtag #WhichHillary after it started trending.

The revelation that Twitter is shadow banning Trump comes on the heels of Google claiming that a ‘technical bug’ was to blame for Donald Trump not appearing when users searched for “presidential candidates”.

Twitter’s shadow banning of Trump also follows its controversial decision to slap conservative commentator Milo Yiannopoulos with a lifetime ban.

I would totally laugh my ass off if a bunch of hajis invaded twitter hq and suicided Jack Dorsey for removing their terrorist accounts.

Trump should do a "shadow ban" counter-offensive.

Contributors would agree to donate a self-determined amount every time it was shown Twitter had shadow banned one of Trump's tweets.

Twitter would quickly let the posts go uncensored rather than shooting themselves in their own fascist, Big Tech foot every time they shadow banned a post.

It is easier to remedy that

Sell Twitter Stock, en masse.

Tweet that you are planning to dump it and why. Tell all of your Twitter friends.

(Oh. Twitter will get the message.)

Everybody SHORT the fucker and sell all that they have, en masse.

Vote with your wallet and bankrupt them...and combine your bets with a short so that you might make some profit by doing so.

Fuck Twitter.

They are attempting to bleed him dry. That is a RICO between Twitter and the Large Banks.

If he wins his Justice Department will jail them all in retaliatiion. They are ensuring that outcome.

Edit: An injustice done to one is just one injustice too many.

It does not matter whether I like the one or not. It is a core principle.

dude.. do you really think the PPT is not buying the shit out of twtr, amzn, nflx, fb, etc? these companies provide bread and circus for the masses, and agree to be used as tools for media manipulation. id be happy as the next zh'er to see their stocks tank, but the game is so much bigger than that.

ebear's picture

Even if you could drive the price down you'd just be handing it to Google.

Better to just not use it.

If a large audience responds and sells out their shares in a day it will definitely make an impact. ZH is a rather large audience.

As a website there was a coordinated attack on the #AskJPM.

That was shut down in one hour after we began our attack.

Do not tell me that it cannot be done.

we've reached a point now where their corrupt activities hurt them, not help.  of course they dont realize this yet.  they keep playing the same game from 10 years ago.  news like this now spreads like wildfire through the net and to the growing numbers of disgruntled people

despite their best corruption efforts, bernie and trump won the day.  the ptb not only failed at convincing people tha killary/crubio were the best....they also pissed  A LOT of people off along the way with their dirty tricks

lose lose lose

If people were willing to surrender short term profits for principles, we wouldn't be here right now. But yes, I agree it's a good thought and the only thing that could actually change things. When people understand that how we spend our tokens is the ONLY real vote we have, then MAYBE we might see things change. But it is probably already too late. They have spent substantial sums and great effort to market, indoctrinate, manipulate and herd us to the decisions we currently make. We talk of freedom and liberty, but is that really possible if we are making decisions that have already been preordained in our brains? Freedom is choice and we are so worried about physically or legally being prevented from having that liberty, but I fear we have been turned so completely by unending mind control that our true liberty has long been gone. How can we know? Are our choices self or slow?

Clinton email reveals: Google sought overthrow of Syria's Assad
By Rudy Takala (@RudyTakala) • 3/19/16 5:30 PM

Google in 2012 sought to help insurgents overthrow Syrian President Bashar Assad, according to State Department emails receiving fresh scrutiny this week.

Messages between former secretary of state Hillary Clinton's team and one of the company's executives detailed the plan for Google to get involved in the region.

"Please keep close hold, but my team is planning to launch a tool ... that will publicly track and map the defections in Syria and which parts of the government they are coming from," Jared Cohen, the head of what was then the company's "Google Ideas" division, wrote in a July 2012 email to several top Clinton officials.

"Our logic behind this is that while many people are tracking the atrocities, nobody is visually representing and mapping the defections, which we believe are important in encouraging more to defect and giving confidence to the opposition," Cohen said, adding that the plan was for Google to surreptitiously give the tool to Middle Eastern media.

Hillary Emails: Google tried to boost Assad defections More:— WikiLeaks (@wikileaks) March 19, 2016

"Given how hard it is to get information into Syria right now, we are partnering with Al-Jazeera who will take primary ownership over the tool we have built, track the data, verify it, and broadcast it back into Syria," he said.

"Please keep this very close hold and let me know if there is anything [else] you think we need to account for or think about before we launch. We believe this can have an important impact," Cohen concluded.

The message was addressed to deputy secretary of state Bill Burns; Alec Ross, a senior Clinton advisor; and Clinton's deputy chief of staff, Jake Sullivan. Sullivan subsequently forwarded Cohen's proposal to Clinton, describing it as "a pretty cool idea."

Cohen worked as a low-level staffer at the State Department until 2010, when he was hired to lead Google Ideas, but was tied to the use of social media to incite social uprisings even before he left the department. He once reportedly asked Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to hold off of conducting system maintenance that officials believed could have impeded a brief 2009 uprising in Iran.

The unusual involvement by Google in foreign affairs highlights the difficulty of involvement in the internal politics of foreign states. While Cohen seemed to consider his company's effort as helpful to American interests, the effort to overthrow Assad helped spur the rise of the Islamic State, which eventually filled a vaccuum resulting from Assad's loss of control over of Syria.

The exchange on Syria was highlighted by Wikileaks on Saturday. Earlier in the week, the secret-leaking website posted more than 30,000 emails that Clinton sent or received during her tenure leading the State Department.

You may be correct that it is too late for many of the collective. I do not know that we, collectively, can recapture the Freedom and Liberty. I believe that you can.  I know that I can.

I agree that it seems as if we, collectively, are currently on a path for the destruction of our civilization. That does not mean that neither you need self destruct nor I need self destruct. Those are personal choices.

But what I do know is that if one wants change then one changes one's self first. People will be compelled to react to one's personal change. They must in order to adapt to the new stimuli. And if we are to have any hope of realizing a change that proves out beneficial then we must start with ourselves. The hope will spring outward from within. And when you look outside for hope you do not see it within. There is no hope outside of yourself.

Now some will say Christ Jesus is hope that is outside of one's self. For far too many that is true. And that path leads to...self destruction. But Christ Jesus is within me because I made the choice to invite Him in. So in Him my hope He resides within me.

If you choose not to believe and seek hope outside if yourself then that is also folly. To the atheist it needs to be about Self Reliance and, once again, the hope resides within..

"When you look out you don't see in." (Thank you David Gilmour.)

Even the PPT has limitations...

The problem with a Global Firestorm is that there may be oceans of water available to douse the flames. But getting those assets into the proper position in the havoc and chaos is impossible.

I live in Lakeside, California. It is Chaparall Country and prone to wildfires. (Earthquakes are not the Natural Disaster here in Southern Cal that we endure a problem with.  It is the damned wildfires.)

Not that long ago, about a decage back, there was a wildfire that totally destroyed 25% of San Diego County Seriously. One quarter of the land was scorched earth...burned into ash and cinders  San Diego County, California is a rather large County when compared to counties across the Nation and covers a large area..

All they could do to fight the fire was to flank it and divert it from populated areas to the best of their ability. Even so many structures were destroyed and there was loss of life.. They were overwhelmed.

And the Pacific Ocean, loaded with water, is 25 miles away. from where I live. That fire burned a 35 Mile long path to the Coast.

You are right that the game is so much larger than Facebook. That is SUPPORTIVE of my assertion because therein lies the problem.

Which fire does the PPT put out first?

But at least when you sell out your Farcebook Stocks YOU ARE NOT FINANCIALLY SUPPORTING their actions to interfere in a National if it really matters.

Tall Tom's picture

Well then what is real and lasting may be with you.

You are not Financially Supporting it. Good. You have not placed your money into it and then verbally condemning their actions. That would be hypocritical.

At that point, where you are not invested, then there is nothing more that you can do, is there?

I am not seeking a long term solution through a Bear Raid on one particular company.

However I am seeking to change a MENTALITY that has only served to destroy a once great Nation.

My goals are also much bigger than Farcebook.

When, if ever, that mentality is changed then it will be a long term solution.

Financial support IS SUPPORT. It is not anymore simple than that.

If you do not morally support it, then do not MATERIALLY SUPPORT it.

Simple isn't it?

Sell Farcebook now.

Tarzan's picture

That mentality will never change as long as the destruction of this nation is ignored.  Most see it coming, few understand why, and fewer yet have the power necessary for true revolution.

Lindbergh wrote the following in his book Economic Pinch in 1923 , ten years after the Federal Reserve was created and 6 years before the Great Depression that confirmed his fears,

We must not let our temporary personal interests cloud our minds or prevent us from seeing beyond the present.  If some workers-farm or other- supinely submit to the privilege of capital to enslave humanity, that furnishes no reason why the rest of us should submit.  The plan of the capitalists now in control and in complete operation is rushing us on with ever-increasing profit to capital and corresponding loss to the useful workers............

......The main trouble now is in what the law defines or permits as "reasonable profit."  Upon the fallacy of so-called "reasonable profit" future war are not unlikely to be waged.  In such wars, capital will not win, because what has been called "reasonable" is unreasonable and always impossible in the end.....

....The "reasonable profit" on vested capital, as it is called, is what seals the downfall of every nation...

....The rule of "reasonable profit" is mainly responsible for the havoc played with our own economic system, yet the rule goes almost uncontested, scarcely protested.  Protests are made against the effect and not against the cause.
Already profit has mounted until approximately four-fifths of all the wealth that God created in our country-plus a like proportion of what the toil of men and women have added-is now owned by the few who never earned it, that is, the profiteers.  What the few over-rich own or control was adroitly secured by exploiting the masses and defrauding the Government.  Most of that wealth is needed to serve mankind. it is the need of all the people of what the few control that permits the owners to exploit the users.....

When the wealth of a nation, the Peoples wealth, becomes the possession of a few individuals, when it's converted to personal property, it's a distortion of property rights.  This process of ill gotten capital has continued like a plague for 100 years, un-challenged by most, until the People are now en-slaved by their own acquiescence, by handing the ruling class what belongs to them.  America's wealth and it's dreams have long been stolen by an elite few who now sit as kings over peasants!

Q&A with Alexander Zinoviev

A: Democratic totalitarianism and financial dictatorship rule out the possibility of social revolution.

Q: Why?

A: Because they combine omnipotent military power with a financial stranglehold. All revolutions received support from outside. From now on this is impossible because there are no sovereign states, nor will there be. Moreover, at the lowest level the working class has been replaced with the unemployed class. What do the unemployed want? Jobs. Therefore, they are in a less advantageous position than the working class of the past.
The most influential Western thinkers and politicians believe that we have entered the post-ideological epoch. This is because by “ideology” they mean communism, fascism, nazism, etc. In reality, the ideology, the super-ideology of the Western world, developed over the last fifty years is much stronger than communism or national socialism. A western citizen is being brainwashed much more than a soviet citizen ever was during the era of communist propaganda. In ideology, the main thing is not the ideas, but rather the mechanisms of their distribution. The might of the Western media, for example, is incomparably greater than that of the propaganda mechanisms of the Vatican when it was at the zenith of its power. And it is not only the cinema, literature, philosophy - all the levers of influence and mechanisms used in the promulgation of culture, in its broadest sense, work in this direction. At the slightest impulse all who work in this area respond with such consistency that it is hard not to think that all orders come from a single source of power.

We are trapped in a cannibalistic financial system that eats it's young and is soon doomed to fail in brilliant fashion!
