Are You A Mind-Controlled CIA Stooge?

Tyler Durden's picture

Authored by Paul Craig Roberts,

Do you smirk when you hear someone question the official stories of Orlando, San Bernardino, Paris or Nice? Do you feel superior to 2,500 architects and engineers, to firefighters, commercial and military pilots, physicists and chemists, and former high government officials who have raised doubts about 9/11? If so, you reflect the profile of a mind-controlled CIA stooge.

The term “conspiracy theory” was invented and put into public discourse by the CIA in 1964 in order to discredit the many skeptics who challenged the Warren Commission’s conclusion that President John F. Kennedy was assassinated by a lone gunman named Lee Harvey Oswald, who himself was assassinated while in police custody before he could be questioned. The CIA used its friends in the media to launch a campaign to make suspicion of the Warren Commission report a target of ridicule and hostility. This campaign was “one of the most successful propaganda initiatives of all time.”

So writes political science professor Lance deHaven-Smith, who in his peer-reviewed book, Conspiracy Theory in America, published by the University of Texas Press, tells the story of how the CIA succeeded in creating in the public mind reflexive, automatic, stigmatization of those who challenge government explanations. This is an extremely important and readable book, one of those rare books with the power to break you out of The Matrix.

Professor deHaven-Smith is able to write this book because the original CIA Dispatch #1035-960, which sets out the CIA plot, was obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request. Apparently, the bureaucracy did not regard a document this old as being of any importance. The document is marked “Destroy when no longer needed,” but somehow wasn’t. CIA Dispatch #1035-960 is reproduced in the book.

The success that the CIA has had in stigmatizing skepticism of government explanations has made it difficult to investigate State Crimes Against Democracy (SCAD) such as 9/11. With the public mind programmed to ridicule “conspiracy kooks,” even in the case of suspicious events such as 9/11 the government can destroy evidence, ignore prescribed procedures, delay an investigation, and then form a political committee to put its imprimatur on the official story. Professor deHaven-Smith notes that in such events as Kennedy’s assassination and 9/11 official police and prosecutorial investigations are never employed. The event is handed off to a political commission.

Professor deHaven-Smith’s book supports what I have told my readers: the government controls the story from the beginning by having the official explanation ready the moment a SCAD occurs. This makes any other explanation a “conspiracy theory.” This is the way Professor deHaven-Smith puts it:

“A SCAD approach to memes assumes further that the CIA and other possibly participating agencies are formulating memes well in advance of operations, and therefore SCAD memes appear and are popularized very quickly before any competing concepts are on the scene.”

The CIA’s success in controlling public perception of what our Founding Fathers would have regarded as suspicious events involving the government enables those in power positions within government to orchestrate events that serve hidden agendas. The events of September 11 created the new paradigm of endless war in behalf of a Washington-dominated world. The CIA’s success in controlling public perceptions has made it impossible to investigate elite political crimes. Consequently, it is now possible for treason to be official US government policy.

Professor deHaven-Smith’s book will tell you the story of the assassination of President Kennedy by elements of the US military, CIA, and Secret Service. Just as the Warren Commission covered up the State Crime Against Democracy, Professor deHaven-Smith shows why we should doubt the official 9/11 story. And anything else that the government tells us.

Read this book. It is short. It is affordable. It is reality preparation. It will innoculate you against being a dumbshit, insouciant, brainwashed American. I am surprised that the CIA has not purchased the entire print run and burned the books. Perhaps the CIA feels secure from its success in brainwashing the public and does not believe that American democracy and accountable government can be restored.

Wait, and if I feel superior to 250,000 (estimated) scientists, climatologists, politicians, and do-gooders who believe global warming is real, problematic, severe, and man-made?
Am I then even worse than a CIA stooge... or maybe a double-stooge?

LetThemEatRand's picture

Follow the money on those who say global warming is real, and those who say it is not, and you'll find plenty of reason to believe both sides of the debate are compromised.   As for the idea that mankind cannot affect environment, just look to any city with an inversion factor, and then ask yourself why you don't want a nuclear war.

I get your point, which is that climate changes, therefore mankind cannot also affect it.  Brilliant.  I stand corrected.

LTER, I've come to think that the purpose of those promoting AGW from behind the scenes is to suck the wind out of very real environmental concerns.  Write a paper supporting AGW and the research grant money pours in, but go write a specific grant authorization against specific powerful interest and it's crickets.  The second function is eventual bureaucratic control and taxing authority.  Anything promoted broadly across the corporate MSM should garner immediate suspicion that whatever they're promoting is serving the interests of the media owners (i.e., the 'club' you and I ain't in).

Note:  PCR is great, but got the year wrong.  The CIA memo #1035-960 came out in 1967.

PCR is late to the fact that recently it's all been FAKE TERRORISM. http://bit.ly/2ajA1iR

Backin2006's picture

It's not all fake terrorism. Thinking that is a numbskull approach that reads your truth into every story when you don't have the facts. Instead, there's a variety of incidents requiring a variety of responses:

- Real false flag terrorism (n.b. when the details are made public at lightning speed, and an official narrative is held to despite many problematic facts

- Blind eye terrorism, when 'they' knew it was coming and did nothing

- Incompetency-facilitated terrorism

- (Un)intended consequences terrorism, when some govt. agency funds a terrorist organisation that goes 'rogue'

- Reactionary terrorism, when an organisation responds to some injustice in their country by attack ours

- Lone wolf terrorism, when someone actually takes their religious ideology seriously and acts on it

- And 'Genuine' terrorism.

To say it's all "fake" means that your fixation on enemies within will lead you to turn a blind eye to enemies without.

Huh Reeeally's picture

No, it's not all fake terrorism, just most of it. Some of the deaths are, sadly, real. On the bright side, no deaths were recorded in Connecticut after Sandy Hook. Orlando hospitals are not billing for emergency services and no deaths recorded there either. The media is complicit, need to look at the state records for deaths, there weren't any.

Lone wolf? That's a patsy setup by one of the alphabet agencies - like the abortion clinic shooting where the police chased the suv and shot it up, only the suv's headlights on the suspect vehicle were flashing as well as the 4 way emergency flashers.... only police car headlights flash. Jus' sayin'.

Most terrorism IS false, one woulld have to be a conspiracy theorist to believe otherwise.

TruthHunter's picture

There has been so much fake terrorism that people forget what real terrorism intends to accomplish. A target

must be picked that causes people to say, they had it coming. For example if the Fed was blown up, lots of people would say, hmmm, they

are on my side.

DuneCreature's picture

Yep, it's the multidimensional aspect of the whole terrorist 'thing' or meme that people just can't wrap their brain around. .. Some of it's staged, some of it's real and sometimes it's some of both in the same FF or 'incident'. ... They will throw obvious crisis actors in the middle of real shootings for example just to confuse the snot out of those investigating.

Then there is the 'restricting access to evidence' thing that makes you want to have everyone connected in any way to the incident charged with obstruction of justice. ... Whether they really understand what their role is or not.

ZH is and has been a honey pot.

Ms No's picture

Honey pot implies intentionality though.  If anything this would be an unintentional honey pot but so is everything else.  The spooks would never have a blog this prolific, that undermines them this heavy at a time when they can't afford it.  No offense but we aren't that high of value.  That's not to say that they aren't watching us and definitely they don't like us.  They knew about our opinions way before we were here though.

More likely, somebody pissed of the wrong guy and a revenge site was created that makes a shit ton of money in the process.  It's actually a brilliant setup.  It caters to greed, belonging, narcissism and self righteousness.  People like feeling like a part of a group and people really like feeling like they are part of something exclusive (there used to be a test to be on here).  They hit all of the buttons and managed to do some good as well.

Then again you could be right.

peddling-fiction's picture

It is not about ZH's intentions whether they wanted to or not create a honey trap.

I am pretty sure they did not.

NSA converts any site into a honey trap with their extensive toys.

However ZH's relatively recent move to the Amazon Cloud from Switzerland, makes me think of Quantum attacks tailoring content to users.

I am down in Bolivia. I will pray for you.

Unlike Assange (hang in there), I am not biting for my own good.

Ms No's picture

Thanks.  Good luck to you too. Hopefully it isn't to serious.  If it makes you feel any better I had a "census" (I'm still not sure about that). Show up to my house way before the census began and GPS my garage (two houses ago). It was a chick and I told her that I will fill out paperwork but I was not going to be GPSed. She said that she would have to call Sheriffs department if I refused. I said that's cool, I know them. Then the bitch walked right past me a GPSed my garage.

If it was a guy I swear I would be in jail right now. The vehicle was just plain and I had a long driveway. I only met one other person that happened to and it was a cattle rancher who was involved in promoting property rights. It was weird.  One house later I had a very strange and super creepy (Bill O'Rielley like) government guy want ask me to do a "mental health survey".  I told him no and he tried to ask me questions anyway.

I was working like 70 hours a week half the time back then.  My dog hated him and it felt like intimidation to me.  It caught me off guard.  He even tried to poke his head in my house.  He had a cop vibe.  To this day I wish I would have taken down his identification and called the cops and then gone from there.  But everybody was creepy in that area so I might just have been being sensitive.

HippieHaulers's picture

I went through gang stalking shortly after 911. Two trips to the loony bin, a thorazine shot and heavy doses of pharma drugs took care of that. I was young and naive. I think they assumed I was largely neutralized as a threat (I was) and moved on. Be strong and good luck.

Why would they go to the trouble of doing all of the writing and editorial work when all they all they have to do is look at the IP logs?

I guess this is what Ms No is referring to by 'intentionality' (or lack thereof).

A test? .. No, kidding. .... I've been around a while reading and, well, laughing mostly (Ok, I learned a lot too.) way before I signed on but I don't remember a test or initiation of any sort. .. But then I would only do a 'surf by' once a week or so. I'm sure I missed plenty. .. What sort of test?

I think it was a math problem but I honestly don't know.  I know some people want it back so they can get rid of people they feel are intellectually inferior.  The name for it is just on the tip of my tongue but I am having trouble retrieving that file.  My memory sucks lately.  Hopefully I'm not getting an early dementia like HRC-Ma Barker Blood Clot.

I totally agree that AGW is being used for bureaucratic control and taxation.  I don't have any personal knowledge of grant money issues, but what you say makes sense -- you don't get any if you don't support the government approved subject of AGW.  My issue with the movement against AGW is that it is largely fueled and supported by large oil, gas and coal companies.   My take is that it's real, but that it's been hijacked.

Ignatius's picture

"My issue with the movement against AGW is that it is largely fueled and supported by large oil, gas and coal companies."

They knew that going in and it will not affect their bottom line other than to enhance it.

Example;  I think we all understand that depleted uranium munitions are bad shit for the targeted population and our own troops.  Where's the MSM and environmental outrage on that?  Barely a whisper.

jeff montanye's picture

and what is it that produces at least some of the "greenhouse gasses"?  largely fossil fuel pollution.  why not avoid it if possible?

certainly climate varies and what seems like current warming may be mostly naturally caused.  but since at the margin man's activities worsen the effect why not try to reduce it?

it's not like the pollution has some other benefits we are loathe to give up.

oh and p.s. i notice the subject of the article is no longer the subject of the thread.

jfk's assassination and 9-11, remember?

Apples and oranges.  9-11 was a bad thing.  JFK assassination a mixed bag, just mostly bad.

KickIce's picture

You're kidding right, not only did we lose JFK but we got the POS LBJ to replace him.  Between his social programs and the Vietnam War he might have been the single largest reason that we lost the gold backed dollar.

w a l k - a w a y's picture

The best analysis of the "JFK assassination" fairy tale was written by Miles Mathis.
The Hidden King(s).

"In this paper I will tell you what really happened that day [November 22, 1963], and what has really happened since 1944. The JFK mystery is just one part of a much larger mystery, a mystery I will unravel for you in the second half of this paper. The JFK assassination is the key that unlocks more than a half-century of closed doors, allowing us to see behind the greatest curtain of all. Up to now, we have had two possible theories. Either Kennedy was killed by Oswald or he was killed by someone else. I will show that the facts, taken alone, point to neither of these two conclusions."

I actually have a lot of respect for those with environmental concerns because we humans have a tendency to crap in our own diaper, so to speak, when it comes to our natural surroundings.  It's a real shame that politicians use it for control and to line their pockets.

Somehow this narrowing down all discussion of ecology and environment into "global warming" has us screwed.

Ms No's picture

Right!  Where is all the panic about straight benzene and pharmaceuticals poured into rivers, fukushima or deforestation?  Those are serious problems.  All you hear about is global warming and we have to shut down all of our coal plants that just billions a piece on scrubbers to make sure next to nothing comes out of the stack.  Meanwhile tight oil had open pits full of oil in ND and flared gas, H2S until you could see it from space.  They are trying to act like they care about globull warming when they are trying to start WWIII?

Who they hell do they think they are kidding?  Also we are in a doozy of a solar cycle and the last one probably was too.  This minimum already has us at an increase of cosmic radiation of 13% in just a matter of years.  We are also in some type of debris belt and we taking tons of meteor strikes (might be a good thing considering Hillary) and the is media mum.

"Cosmic rays can seed clouds, trigger lightning, and penetrate commercial airplanes. Furthermore, there are studies ( #1, #2, #3, #4) linking cosmic rays with cardiac arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death in the general population. Our latest measurements show that cosmic rays are intensifying, with an increase of almost 13% since 2015"
