The Road To Fascism In Just Two Charts

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Eugen von Bohm-Bawerk via,

Laws of politics have been turned upside down. The Intellectuals Yet Idiots can make no sense of it. The underdog who ‘tell it how it is’ appeal to people while established reasoning does not.  Politicians used to pit people against each other and bribe key electoral groupings with the spoils of ‘democratic’ victory to maintain power; well aware that the “…[process] will [only] endure until the day [politicians] discovers that it can bribe the public with the public’s money.” From that day onwards, western democracies have been on a slippery slope as the state consumes and redistributes ever more of society’s productive capital. When taxes became exploitative, the state went into debt. When workers’ real wages stagnated, the central bank subsidized further indebtness.

Generations of capital accumulation prior allowed this monstrosity to continue for decades; blurring cause and effect. When the debt machine stalled in 2008, people started to feel something was seriously wrong with the system. Political hacks with their old tricks could no longer bribe and lie because people started blaming them for the hardship. However, years of indoctrination under the auspice of political correctness left the constituency unable to express their feelings. Self-declared besserwissers with fancy Ph.D. degrees would aggressively strike down on any genuine expressed feeling of unease by branding them as unschooled racists, bigots or simple-minded children. Debt slaves had to accept their lot in society as there were no outlet for them to vent their increasing frustration.

With hindsight, it is obvious that this political and financial pressure cooker would explode, and that is exactly what we are living through right now. We are definitely on the cusp of a major break with the old; rendering simple extrapolations useless as a forecasting tool.

Politically the left-right divide is way too narrow. Thinking inside this box constricts the mind to such an extent that one will be unable to understand what is going on and how this might end.

The striking ineptitude pundits reveal when trying to analyze today’s political dislocation stems from two simple facts.

First, they cannot wrap their head around the fact that some nations apparently drift far left (Spain, Portugal, Italy), while others far right (US, UK, Germany, France) and some in both directions at the same time (Greece). This is easy to understand when acknowledging that the world is not drifting in various directions, but rather just expressing the same message in different language. This misunderstanding stems from the misguided left-right divide whereby the left is advocates of international socialism while the resurgent right is arguing for the same socialism, but rather for the nation state – national socialism. These two systems are almost identical in their opposition to globalization while zealously favoring centralized control of the national economy. Their message is the same; less global trade, more state spending on national projects. Voters will easily jump from the former to the latter when times turn for the worse.

The old left-right divide was, and still is, indistinguishable for the open minded. The following chart attempt to show how we look at the political spectrum. As can be seen, the left-right axis is nothing more than a childish quarrel on which special interest group is entitled to most of the spoils. This model is broken, consumed by its own greed, and the world of politics is rapidly drifting into good old fascism. Whether it is in the form of Trump, Clinton, Hollande, Le Pen, CDU, AfD, Podemos or Golden Dawn is not important. What is important is the fact that this shift is happening under the pretense of some big intellectual battle of good versus evil. It is not. It is pure evil and we are lead astray by the different way of delivering the message.

Secondly, the reason why the broader electorate feel left out is the fact that they have lost to global competition. Asset owners in the west and the middle class in emerging markets have seen their income grow rapidly over the last 20 years, while the middle class in developed markets have not.

Naturally such grave disparity lead people to conclude it is either the fault of the rich or global competition, when in reality the enormous amount of capital consumption allowed by Keynesian policies is the real

Today’s policies are efforts to maintain the old status quo and can only prolong the middle class suffering. This will obviously lead to more political drift that will quell growth and prosperity, calling for increased used of failed policies ad infinitum.

History teaches us where this will end.

This is not fascism. Fascism was pro-white.

This is road to zionism.

stacking12321's picture

you're clueless.

facism isn't pro-white, it's anti-everybody, unless you're one of the 0.01% calling the shots.

Facism was/is a white european construct, typified by Mussolini, Hilter & other white european nationalists.

Belrev is 100% correct in that regard.

Or don't you know your history stacking1_?

Memedada's picture

The origin of an ideology is irrelevant. Fascism is best defined (or can you offer a better definition?) as the merging of corporate and state power, the former calling the shots. Nothing to do with race.

Race/religion/social position/gender/culture can be (mis)used (as in fascist US) as scapegoat and a way to “divide and conquer” and in that way paving the way for fascism.

But doesn't fascism come with a police state?  It can't happen here:

Bribery aka lobbying.  Imagine giving bribery a fancy name to eliminate that nasty "illegal" connotation.

That's what makes America exceptional.  We're good with words.

Follow the money. The payoffs go to the Politicans. They are Bought. The power remains in thier hands.  The Corporations ave to pay to play and they fal in line with the government's agenda in order to do so. Want Bigger Government?  then you want more of this.

It is fascism.

And if you want to call it a white construct fine. Stop taking medicine invented by whites and stop flying in ariplanes invented by whites. Its cultural appropriation.

You and the folks upvoting you haven't read what I wrote.

Therfore I suggest you try reading again what I wrote.

If ENGLISH is your mother tongue, I suggest you go back to school.

GeezerGeek's picture

Reading is too much trouble, especitally if conprehension is to be involved.

Further, fascism means exactly what we (each, individually) want it to mean, nothing more, nothing less.

Please stop afflicting us with your attempts at cogent reasoning, as it's beginning to seep into our safe spaces, and dat's rayciss!

Facismo is the original fascist ideology, as developed in Italy.

Out of a historical perpective, it is a white Italian construct.

Stop the cognitive dissonance rubbish, "the origin of an ideology is irrelevant", if you please.

Cultural Marxism always tries to re-define history.

Although wikipedia isn't the best source for acquiring a deeper knowledge of the subject "facism", I suggest starting here:

Italian Fascism (Italian: Fascismo Italiano), also known simply as Fascism (Italian: Fascismo), is the original fascist ideology, as developed in Italy. The ideology is associated with the National Fascist Party, which under Benito Mussolini ruled the Kingdom of Italy from 1922 until 1943, the Republican Fascist Party that ruled the Italian Social Republic from 1943 to 1945, the post-war Italian Social Movement and subsequent Italian neo-fascist movements.

Italian Fascism was rooted in Italian nationalism and the desire to restore and expand Italian territories, which Italian Fascists deemed necessary for a nation to assert its superiority and strength and to avoid succumbing to decay.[1] Italian Fascists claimed that modern Italy is the heir to ancient Rome and its legacy, and historically supported the creation of an Italian Empire to provide spazio vitale ("living space") for colonization by Italian settlers and to establish control over the Mediterranean Sea.[2]

Italian Fascism promoted a corporatist economic system whereby employer and employee syndicates are linked together in associations to collectively represent the nation's economic producers and work alongside the state to set national economic policy.[3] This economic system intended to resolve class conflict through collaboration between the classes.[4]

Italian Fascism opposed liberalism, but rather than seeking a reactionary restoration of the pre-French Revolutionary world, which it considered to have been flawed, it had a forward-looking direction.[5] It was opposed to Marxist socialism because of its typical opposition to nationalism,[6] but was also opposed to the reactionary conservatism developed by Joseph de Maistre.[7] It believed the success of Italian nationalism required respect for tradition and a clear sense of a shared past among the Italian people, alongside a commitment to a modernized Italy.[8]

Grave's picture

fascism is a zionazi construct (so is communism and all other mental enslavement schemes like abrahamic religions)
follow the money and the bloody trail littered with corpses, lies, deceit, malevolence, violence, mass murder, traitors, blackmail, dishonesty, etc always leads to the same group of psychopaths who pretend to rule the world.

if they cannot keep their house clean,
others will have to keep cleaning it up for them.
its going to end up the same
collective guilt, collective punishment

HenryKissingerChurchill's picture

I think everybody could argue the IG FARBEN plans are also fascism and paralell and EXACTLY the same...

there must be a source giving orders to both GERMAN and ITALIAN industries... who could be so powerfull to do that?

Cloud9.5's picture

Nazism incorporated racism by embracing the Aryan myth.  Hitler set up breeding programs for desirables and extermination programs for undesirables. This was not a feature of Mussolini’s fascism.  Fascism may or may not have a racial element in it.  Looking at the numbers killed by Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot, I should imagine that a significant number of the others with that definition being based on race, ethnicity and class were cleansed by these regimes. Whether the oligarchs wrap themselves in the national colors or the universal red flag it makes no difference to the others. The others always find themselves in the same place at the end of the day, on their knees, facing a ditch with a gun to the back of their heads.

HenryKissingerChurchill's picture

Hitler set up breeding programs for desirables and extermination programs for undesirables.

Thank god USA and UK did not start EUGENICS way earlier than Germany...

This is a totally isolated idea from only german evil minds, nowhere in the world has that eugenics trend happened ever!

Pickleton's picture

"Thank god USA and UK did not start EUGENICS way earlier than Germany"

I know that was sarcasm.  It's well known that american progressives taught Nazis MUCH in the way of their evil programs and pogroms.

Cloud9.5's picture

And your point is exactly what?  I make no claims that the United States comes to the discussion of fascism with clean hands.  I was simply pointing out that oligarchs whether they shroud themselves in the rhetoric of National Socialism  or shroud themselves in the slogans of Marxism, they tend to practice cleansing of the others, you know the deplorables, the ones that won’t get with the program.

Belrev 's original 1st comment stated, "Fascism was pro-white.".

Was is past tense, not present in English.

Considering grammatical rules, I am 100% correct in eveything I've said.

History's prerequsite is factual data.

Facts are facts, grammar is grammar.

However, opinions are like assholes, 'cause everyone's got 1.

Too many people confuse facts with fiction and opinions.

Personally, I don't give shit what an ignoramus thinks.

Whereas pedogogy requires patience;

"Pedagogy is the discipline that deals with the theory and practice of education; it thus concerns the study and practice of how best to teach. Its aims range from the general (full development of the human being via liberal education) to the narrower specifics of vocational education (the imparting and acquisition of specific skills). "

according to the JEWish media : everytime someone kicks the Jewry vampire squid out of his country, exactly 6 million jews die... EVERYTIME in history!

I do not know what that number means to them but hey somehow they manage to die in exactly that number...

of course the WWII "whole carcass sacrifice" numbers are fake and they even include the burned Germans from Dresden in their pictures... sick

Nobody gives a shit about where Fascism started pal. We get your point. The original definition refers to Italy, which I'm assuming was predominately white at the time. However, in this 'modern' context, we are referring to the 'cause and effect' of said Fascism, not it's origins.
So, if you put down your racist stick for a minute, take a breath and understand that everyone else on this thread knows what you are talking about, they just don't need to belabor the definition to get their point across.
Nowhere in any definition of Fascism, did I find and reference to skin color.|
Who was the first to be called Racist? Does their color matter today? If the first Racist was white, does that mean no other color can be Racist? Your argument is specious at best.

Can't we all agree that Fascism is for everybody!

There is a name for such a fallacy but I forget it, something like argumentum ad pedigree.  Your arguments utilize several others, but I forget the names of those too.

Did I miss something? Where did he claim to have read those 1500 books? Or know what they say? Or perhaps more importantly, understand what they say!

If I had 1500 books on quantum entanglement is would not make me an expert in Quantum Mechanics merely because I read them. I can pretty well guarantee that I would understand and remember only a few percent of what I'd read.

What about Zio-facists?

"The Transfer Agreement"  & Sonderkommando ?

Do you folks know that the Jews had an agreement with the Third Reich to move ALL jews to Palestine?!!!

The jewish sonderkommandots were zionist guards responsible for the non-zionist/secular jews in the concentration/work camps?!!!

- The Haavara Agreement was an agreement between Nazi Germany and Zionist German Jews signed on 25 August 1933. The agreement was finalized after three months of talks by the Zionist Federation of Germany, the Anglo-Palestine Bank (under the directive of the Jewish Agency) and the economic authorities of Nazi Germany. It was a major factor in making possible the immigration of approximately 60,000 German Jews to Palestine in the years 1933–1939.[1]......"

- George Soros was a sonderkommando in the concentration camps.

Considering 'gas chambers' have never been 100% scientifically proven to have existed, try reading about the Sonderkommando - minus gas chamber.

Their real mission was to sort out the pro- & possible pro-zionist jews from the unrelenting non-/anti-zionist jews.

So, we've all gone a bit off-topic, but never mind. I was having a chat with a priest the other day, and he mentioned that cremation of a body can take up to 4 hours(!). Here's a bit from Wikipedia:

Modern cremator fuels include oil,[30] natural gas, propane, and, in some areas like Hong Kong, coal gas.[31] However, coal and coke were used until the early 1960s.

Modern cremators have adjustable-control systems that monitor the furnace during cremation. These systems automatically monitor the interior to tell when the cremation process is complete, after which the furnace automatically shuts down. The time required for cremation varies from body to body, and, in modern furnaces, the process may be as fast as one hour per 50 kg (100 lb) of body weight.

So, 6,000,000 bodies, assumed all to be 50kg (they were on a diet, remember), would take t modern efficient crematoruim 6,000,000 hours to burn, or 684 man years. I appreciate that not ALL six million were put in the same oven, but it makes you think, doesn't it. How much fuel would be needed to get through all this? According to this link ( about 100kg of wood per body, or 600,000 metric tons. That's a lot of axe-work. Guess a random yield of 200 tons of wood per acre, and you get 3,000 acres of forest cut down. Not unachievable, but a serious dent in your war-effort. Guess those Germans and their famous efficiency had it all going for them. Vorsprung durch Technic, as they say in Germany.

Are the 'chosen people' white?
We need to get to the bottom of this. Which races are white and which are not?
So far you have several references in your posts.

Italy - White
Jews - (not sure if you're including Russian Orthos, Black Jews or mixed.)
Germany - White Aryan

State of course, is control by raw power organ political actor, who is smarter than citizenry and will usurp resource through taxation, confiscation, outright theft through police state action. This is road to fascism.

The little people have no power.  Never did, never will.  Nothing changes till someone/s who thought he was "on the inside" suddenly discovers that he is about to be stripped of everything and sent to the "outside".  Someone/s who are in a position to not go down without a fight.

Philthy_Stacker's picture

Nobody really cares about Fascism until it comes knocking at your door. As long as you have food and lodging, you have the 'necessities' covered. When you are too busy working for a living (Capitalism?), you don't have time to think about how shitty your life really is.
The MSM hides Euro-Fascism, through it's power structure of Billionaire shareholders (AKA Fascists), The US hides behind 'Electoral' Fascism and even Canada hides it's dirty laundry behind a thin veil of Social Democracy.

In actuality, Corporations control everything by lobbying governments, advertising to rubes and buying up all new technologies and processes, distilling and concentrating world raw materials into profit.
To suggest that elected officials have been compromised is incorrect. Corporations have infiltrated and circumvented the electoral process by 'seeding' their kind into State, Local and Federal politics. How many 'elected officials' are millionaires? How many were bankers, CEOs, major shareholders or spouses of influential people? How many non-elected, former board members are currently controlling the USDA, EPA, etc.?

We are on the brink of total world Fascism.

If you haven't seen 'Continuum' yet, I recommend it. A future world where corporations own everything. The time travel aside, this looks very much like the direction we are headed.

GeezerGeek's picture

SyFy has had several series based on the notion of corporations running the show. Continuum illustrated corporatism in one way, using time travel as a mechanism. Dark Matter is another, lacking time travlel but positing interstellar corporate empires.

How does one combat total world fascism? Sticking with the SF theme, find a copy - if one still exists - for "Wasp", by Eric Frank Russel. Or go to
