Did Chuck Schumer Just Threaten Donald Trump?

Tyler Durden's picture

Submitted by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

As the financial crisis jolted the nation in September, Senator Charles E. Schumer was consumed. He traded telephone calls with bankers, then became one of the first officials to promote a Wall Street bailout. He spent hours in closed-door briefings and a weekend helping Congressional leaders nail down details of the $700 billion rescue package.

The next day, Mr. Schumer appeared at a breakfast fund-raiser in Midtown Manhattan for Senate Democrats. Addressing Henry R. Kravis, the buyout billionaire, and about 20 other finance industry executives, he warned that a bailout would be a hard sell on Capitol Hill. Then he offered some reassurance: The businessmen could count on the Democrats to help steer the nation through the financial turmoil.

“We are not going to be a bunch of crazy, anti-business liberals,” one executive said, summarizing Mr. Schumer’s remarks. “We are going to be effective, moderate advocates for sound economic policies, good responsible stewards you can trust.”

The message clearly resonated. The next week, executives at firms represented at the breakfast sent in more than $135,000 in campaign donations.

He succeeded in limiting efforts to regulate credit-rating agencies, for example, sponsored legislation that cut fees paid by Wall Street firms to finance government oversight, pushed to allow banks to have lower capital reserves and called for the revision of regulations to make corporations’ balance sheets more transparent.

At times in Congress, Mr. Schumer has teamed up with Republicans, like former Senator Phil Gramm of Texas, who aggressively promoted a free-market agenda. Mr. Schumer pushed for the Gramm-Leach-Bliley law, passed in November 1999, which knocked down the walls between investment banks and commercial banks and allowed financial supermarkets to flourish. The law also weakened regulatory oversight by fracturing it among different agencies.

– From The New York Times article: A Champion of Wall Street Reaps Benefits

Great way to start off the new year for the Democrats. New Senate Minority leader, and Wall Street mega-defender, Chuck Schumer just went on Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show and warned Donald Trump that U.S. intelligence agencies could retaliate against him for disagreeing with their claims (based on no public evidence thus far) that Russia hacked the DNC/John Podesta and released it to Wikileaks with the intent of helping Trump win the election.

Here’s what he said courtesy of The Washington Examiner:

The new leader of Democrats in the Senate says Donald Trump is being “really dumb” for picking a fight with intelligence officials, suggesting they have ways to strike back, after the president-elect speculated Tuesday that his “so-called” briefing about Russian cyberattacks had been delayed in order to build a case.

“Let me tell you: You take on the intelligence community — they have six ways from Sunday at getting back at you,” said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer Tuesday evening on MSNBC after host Rachel Maddow informed him that intelligence sources told NBC news that the briefing had not been delayed.

Now watch the clip for yourself. I’m certain the near permanent grin on his face will not be lost upon you either.

The exchange is especially disturbing given the CIA’s not so warm and fuzzy history, both internally and externally. For some light reading on the matter, I strongly suggest the following post, How America’s Modern Shadow Government Can Be Traced Back to One Very Evil Man – Allen Dulles. Here’s a brief passage to whet your appetite:

Allen Dulles, the CIA director under presidents Eisenhower and Kennedy, the younger brother of Secretary of State John Foster Dulles, and the architect of a secretive national security apparatus that functioned as essentially an autonomous branch of government. Talbot offers a portrait of a black-and-white Cold War-era world full of spy games and nuclear brinkmanship, in which everyone is either a good guy or a bad guy. Dulles—who deceived American elected leaders and overthrew foreign ones, who backed ex-Nazis and thwarted left-leaning democrats—falls firmly in the latter camp.

But what I was really trying to do was a biography on the American power elite from World War II up to the 60s. That was the key period when the national security state was constructed in this country, and where it begins to overshadow American democracy. It’s almost like Game of Thrones to me, where you have the dynastic struggles between these power groups within the American system for control of the country and the world…

Absolutely. The surveillance state that Snowden and others have exposed is very much a legacy of the Dulles past. I think Dulles would have been delighted by how technology and other developments have allowed the American security state to go much further than he went. He had to build a team of cutthroats and assassins on the ground to go around eliminating the people he wanted to eliminate, who he felt were in the way of American interests. He called them communists. We call them terrorists today. And of course the most controversial part of my book, I’m sure, will be the end, where I say there was blowback from that. Because that killing machine in some way was brought back home.

Threaten the U.S. President-elect with the CIA. How liberal.

Little bit of a problem for you, Chuckie…

President-Elect Trump has a huge army of pissed-off citizens backing him.

...you are but a penny in front of a steamroller.

Does anybody else perceive the arrogance and condescension of this son of an exterminator and long time Wall Street shill?

Hey… Maybe he is related to Tom Delay…

Just saying.

(I like Tom Delay but the associating Schumer to him would make Schumers head explode)

oh, gee.... the pesticide meme.... Delay is gone.. but bug-face Schumer is still crawling around...

And then there is that being close to poison thing………..

I keep reading stories like this and thinking... do these people not realise Trump is going to be POTUS?

They are still in denial.

A flick of Trumps pen and the CIA ceases to exist. Poof gone.

The GOP controls all three branches of Government, the Chairman of the GOP is Trump's Chief of Staff.

Trump isn't just POTUS. He is the undisputed head of US Government. He is backed by a democratic mandate i.e. the American people.

The people threatening Trump whilst he is President-Elect must be full blown lunatics, such is their disconnect with reality.

JRobby's picture

They will come at him. Just a matter of time now.

The unelected "Deep State" is under the control of the Globalist and have had their way for a very long time.

It's simple. They never dreamed that a light would be shined on their activities and motivations. Now it is. Increasingly so

Schumer is on a long list of operatives that have to go.

On the treadmill at the club and as always CNN is on.

Banner appears on screen: "Trump mocks intel services"

Then a couple of minutes later:  "Pence confident in intel services"

Then finally "Trump shouldn't mix own security with secret service."

Where is CNN going with this?

flapdoodle's picture

While it is always possible Trump is just kabuki theatre from the Deep State meant to lull those sheep who are more awake than the others, its sure seems that Trump is going after the heart of the beast. If you sum up all of Trumps actions since he won, you take away that he KNOWS what is going on, and seems to have a strategy. Keeping the Zionists close and Goldman Sachs closer is likely his life insurance - the Deep State is not a monolith and perhaps Trump has found a fault line that can be exploited.

As card carrying members of the Deplorable class, we can sit back for a while and watch the Deep State show itself. Schumer is doing just that and is outing himself publically, as dis Paul Ryan, as did tweedledum-tweedledee poofter twins McStain and Miss Leslie.

When a system (the Deep State in this case) is under stress, you start to see the fault lines and the structure that has been hidden from view... this is a golden opportunity for the observant to see the machinations of a power elite that have been occult for a long time...

It seems to me that the only way things will work for Trump is for him to start from the assumption that he is in a *really* hostile environment (duh), and exercise his war against the entrenched power through a series of hit and run tactics. Some factions of the Deep State he of course will never get on board and will try to eliminate him as a problem. He needs to PUBLICALLY go after these guys from the get go, that may be his only insurance such as it is...

The hard core lefties drop their pretenses of decorum as soon as they are visibly losing, quickly resorting to threats and intimidation.  They have admitted they purposefully use mentally unstable people to cause violence.

What we have to do is ensure that they are not immune.  The conservatives have had self-restraint, while the left observably does not.  The self restraint of the conservatives will be its undoing if it is not changed, and soon.  The conservatives seem unable to become the thing they hate in order to merely survive, preferring to lose gracefully (this has already been correctly pointed out by others).  Having come to this realization, some of us have abandoned that stance, adopting a willingness to do whatever it takes to preserve our lives, lifestyles, livelihoods, and culture.  We have, with great sadness but now with resolve, emotionally overcome our inhibitions, inhibitions which our enemies do not share.

God help the snowflakes and their masters when the balloon goes up.  Because we won't.

flapdoodle's picture

Beware using the labels "Conservative" and "Left". These are part of the old paradigm which the Deep State used to misdirect the sheep. A perfect example of this the Miss Leslie Graham, who claims to be "Conservative" and probably wins elections because the South Carolina sheep see him as one. Graham is certainly a card carrying member of the Deep State and is allies with... Chuck Schumer.

The problem with the Left-Right paradigm is that there *are* freedom lovers on the left who can help in going after the beast, and there *are* fascists who masquerade as "conservatives" who will do whatever it takes to keep the NWO agenda on track...

+1 Flapdoodle for "tweedledum-tweedledee poofter twins McStain and Miss Leslie"

The rest of your comment was solid also, but spit some coffee on my monitor with "poofter twins"...

FlowerofLife's picture

Astute analysis, flapdoodle. Especially after you point it out :-), it’s easy to see Trump’s strategy, assuming you’re starting from the point of view that he represents and has been hired by the New PTB to, among other things, overthrow the existing PTB.

Tarzan's picture

I suspect Schumer is conveniently ignoring the portion of the intelligence agencies that support Trump, that would love to see Obama, Clinton, and schumer thrown in jail.

Trump has far more support then these sycophants want to admit.  Did you see the crowd protesting Goldmen, chanting "drain the swamp"?  They didn't much resemble the redneck Trump supporters Schumer would like to paint....  They looked pretty diverse to me.  Was that black people chanting drain the swamp?

These libtards are shaking in their slippers.  What's that brown spot in your panties chuck?

philipat's picture

Draining the swamp isn't going to be easy with scumbags like this and Paul Ryan as sycophants for the Corporatocracy fighting it all the way. Probably not made easier by the large GS contingent in the Trump Cabinet. He really needs to be a super-human to rise above this and keep his administration pointed in his desired direction. If he can pull it off, he will go down in history as one of the greatest ever Presidents.

that kind of evil nearly makes me beleive in lizardmen.

There may be a genetic factor of this subgroup.  Watch the video again and look for these neanderthalic features in Chucky.  In abundance, these features may be negative, or at least a marker to be aware of.

Heavily sloping forehead.  Hook nose.  Mouth that wraps around the face.  Receding weak chin.

It is not a stretch to consider that a different genetic pathway could lead to high levels of fantasy and nervous tension among these types.  The brain construction itself could differ from more cro-magnon humanity.

Also, our jewish friends had population bottle necks in the past, meaning a few nervous individuals passed on their traits to become a large component in future racial stock.  This paranoia further reinforced itself with self segregation, like that which occured in pale of settlement and polish ghettos. Read 200 years together to get an idea of this segregation/evolution phase in Jewish history.

New York Jews are almost always diaspora from Poland and Pale of Settlment. They immigrated from 1880 to 1926 primarily.  In 26 there was an immigration cut-off because this indigestible element was agitating for Communism/Bolsheveism.  They also wanted their own state - floating the idea  the U.S. congress giving them Montana.

In Soviet Union, Stalin created the Jewish Oblast, so  self chosenites could move there.

Parasitism is a feature of their economy mode, so in modern times, they choose not to move to the Oblast. Creating real wealth is hard - it is easier to live off of others, and making threats is part of the parasites bag-o-tricks.

This sneering asshole Schumer again.

While I realize NYC would be just another Camden NJ without the fake tax reciepts brought in by the debt ponzi I will never understand why the people of that state keep putting him back in DC.

It can only be that the majority of people in New York state are just as corrupt as he is.

Again, this is Senator Chuck Schumer: We Have three branches of government, House, Senate & President?...

...an evil idiot.

Remember  that Kennedy had plans to severely "clip the wings" of the CIA - especially after the "Bay of Pigs" fiasco. (The quote was "splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it into the winds." )

Whilst history may not repeat exactly, it does tend to rhyme, and perhaps Mr Trump would be wise to consider this. He may be the figurehead "President", but those who pull the strings in the shadows are still there, and still following THEIR agendas.

cherry picker's picture

Maybe Assange or a 'hacker' can publicize the real names and addresses of all CIA employees.  When we know who they are, they will have lost their power.

The Gun Is Good's picture

That would certainly help. Regardless, it would be effective for patriot citizens to kill off some of the corrupt well-known leadership in the organization... and in .gov in general. Organizations like the NSA and CIA continue spying, creeping around, doing wet work, etc., and that intimidates people into feelings of helplessness. But in war (which is what this is) we must return fire. Assassinate the assassins, I say, and especially their string-pulling masters. That will send a lot of the scumbags and infiltraitors packing. Simply put, criminals like Schumer, McStain, Clintons, Bushes, Soros, Kissinger, etc. etc. etc. shouldn't be allowed to die of old age.

No need for assassinations because I fixed it so all the criminalies would suffocate in their underground nuclear fallout shelters once the Russian Federation & China light the fuse on their ICBMs and launch the nukes.

MaxThrust's picture

@Cherry Picker. I agree with the intent of your post but I  assume many at the CIA are just normal folk doing analysis jobs etc. The Ones that we need to shine a light on are thoes who operate in the shadows.

It's quite amazing that a sitting US Senator could tell the american public that a government agency which is supose to be controlled by the government and impartial would actually act autonomously to defend its self against the very government from which it receives its sustenance.

This fact alone suggests the CIA follows no oversight by  government and should be closed for good.

Casey Jones's picture

Perhaps nowhere is the deep state so vulnerable as in the 9/11 business. That could be a crack that could be exploited to bring the whole sordid enterprise crashing down. But shit they will fight tooth and nail. Trump will need a whole fucking army around him if he takes on that fight. We will never have a semblance of a free country until that deed comes to light.

MEFOBILLS's picture

Kennedy had plans to severely "clip the wings" of the CIA

When Nixon left the White House, he said "I don't want to go the way of Jack", meaning Jack Kennedy.

So, Nixon left quietly rather than get murdered.  What a lot of people don't know is that Nixon was going to create a parallel money system by using the Savings and Loans of that day.

So, Nixon was not nearly as monetarily ignorant as people make him out to be.  The watergate building had evidence on the FED., which would have bolstered Nixon's case. The FED ended up bribing the faggot Nixon had selected to spearhead new Savings and Loan banks.  So, Nixon was stupid for relying on a weak-minded easily coerced fag.

With regards to Trump, he obviously doesn't understand the money system - especially with selections like tribester Munchkin.

However, Trump IS mixing in his own private security along with Secret Service.  Let's see if Trump is properly cautious enough to keep this strategy going into office.

Today, it looks like Secret Service, CIA- Dulles Brothers, Elements of Joint Chiefs, and our Zionist friends were all co-conspirators in the murder of JFK.

JFK was blocking the theft of nuclear secrets and nuclear timers to Isra-hell, hence Zion wanted him dead.
