4Chan Claims To Have Fabricated Anti-Trump Report As A Hoax

Tyler Durden's picture

In a story that is getting more surreal by the minute, a post on 4Chan now claims that the infamous "golden showers" scene in the unverified 35-page dossier, allegedly compiled by a British intelligence officer, was a hoax and fabricated by a member of the chatboard as "fanfiction", then sent to Rick Wilson, who proceeded to send it to the CIA, which then put it in their official classified intelligence report on the election.

Here is 4Chan's explanation of how the story came to light:

>/pol/acks mailed fanfiction to anti-trump pundit Rick Wilson about trump making people piss on a bed obama slept in

>he thought it was real and gave it to the CIA

>the central intelligence agency of the united states of america put this in their official classified intelligence report on russian involvement in the election

>donald trump and obama have both read this pol/acks fanfiction

>the cia has concluded that the russian plans to blackmail trump with this story we made up

just let that sink in what we have become.

And a summary posted on pastebin:

On january 10, Buzzfeed posted a story under the byline of Ken Bensinger, Mark Schoofs and Miriam elder titled “these reports Allege Trump Has Deep Ties To Russia” and posted a link to a document alleging, among other things, that russia has been cultivating trump for 5+ years, that trump has been in constant contact with the kremlin for information on his opponents, and perhaps most inflammatory, that there are many recorded instances of blackmail of trump in sexual misconduct. A prominent claim is that trump rented the presidential suite of the Ritz Carlton Hotel in moscow, where he knew that the Obamas had slept in; he them hired a number of prostitutes to perform a 'golden shower' (pissplay) on the bed and in the room. https://www.buzzfeed.com/kenbensinger/these-reports-allege-trump-has-dee...

Noted #nevertrump voice Rick Wilson later commented on twitter, stating that the report “gave a new meaning to Wikileaks” (https://twitter.com/TheRickWilson/status/818982395202379777) and that the report was the reason everybody was fighting so hard against the election of Trump. (https://twitter.com/TheRickWilson/status/818983514335047680)

The remarkable thing? It's all fake. And not only fake; it's a prank perpetuated by 4chan, on Rick Wilson himself. A post on 4chan on october 26 stated “mfw managed to convince CTR and certain (((journalists))) on Twitter there'll be an October surprise on Trump this Friday” along with a picture of a smug face with a hash name. http://archive.4plebs.org/pol/thread/94704894/#94705224

on november 1, a person without a picture but is assumed to be the same person posted “So they took what I told Rick Wilson and added a Russian spy angle to it. They still believe it. Guys, they're truly fucking desperate - there's no remaining Trump scandal that's credible.” https://archive.4plebs.org/pol/thread/95568919/#95571329

on january 10, moments after the story broke and began to gain traction on social media, a person with the same smug grin face, and the same hash title for the picture, stated “I didn't think they'd take it so far.” http://boards.4chan.org/pol/thread/106514445#p106520376

This story has taken on something of a life of it's own. Going through Rick Wilson's twitter, you can find many different stories from the time that he had shown the story to a wide number of anti-trump news sources, trying to find a news organization that would actually publish the story. During that time period, he referred to it often as 'the thing', and often playing coy with followers on the content with the story with anybody who was not also a #Nevertrumper. Unconfirmed sources has people as high up as John McCain giving the story to FBI Director James Comey to attempt to verify the story. Given that Rick Wilson runs in Establishment circles, it is not an impossible scenario that long-serving senators are falling for what amounts to a 4chan troll trump supporter creating an ironic October Surprise out of wholecloth to punk a GOPe pundit who derogatorily referred to them as single men who masturbate to anime.

While this entire incident is laughable, and even more so if the 4Chan account is accurate, what makes it quite tragic, is that it is no longer possible to dismiss the "fake news" angle to an intelligence report. And if the CIA is compromised, what is left for "news outlets" like CNN and BuzzFeed, which were all too eager to run with the story without any attempt at verification?

Of course that shit is fake.  I can't believe anyone would think it was real,, oh the mentally challenged libtards, they would think its real.

Sizzurp's picture

Apparently, it doesn't take much actual investigation for information to get into a CIA intelligence file. I am still living in the USA, or have I ventured into a parallel dimension where everything is almost like it was, except in this world everything is being run by middle school age children?

This time tomorrow its back to 'Comey did it', or some variation thereof. One thing is sure, they are deeply in love with their buzzkill. What is funnier than watching these super-serious CNN journalistas look very grave, very grave indeed, while they are unawaringly fist fucking themselves.

Jethro's picture

CNN talking heads should just start wearing ball gags on air now....they would look less ridiculous.

they keep bettin red and black, sellin records, claiming records, double zero.

We read the New York Times to find out what our enemies are thinking. They do not read ZeroHedge or 4Chan to find out what we are thinking. 4Chan is a great forum to plot pranks on liberals because it is so full of "triggering" content that no liberal dares to go there.

God Bless 4Chan.

Wow, the CIA is really hurting their creditability.  And I take no joy in that.  Just imagine a spy agency, for example, that PREVENTS Islamic attacks.

Instead, the intel agencies offer stupid stuff. For example, the Russians hacked the emails because Russians were elated when Hillary lost.  A lot of other people were elated when Hillary lost--so under their stupid reasoning, they hacked the emails too.

With every new wrinkle in this amateurish saga, the intelligence agencies are becoming more pronounced laughing stocks -- in the eyes of the greater world community.

They claim that the voters got duped by "fake news" when, in fact, the so called best-and-the-brightest got one pulled over on them not by the Russians, but by a troll.

beijing expat's picture

And not just any troll, a 4chan troll who lives in his mothers basement and jerks off to Anime.

It simply does not get any better.

Indeed. Once Trump announced he planned to begin cleansing the ZIA of its traitors, the ZIA assets on this board and elsewhere went into full swing creating more devious narratives than even the DNC could create.

Well, the Russians must know because the report says that room was wired, so if they got a film of Trump golden showers, they got Obama too.

Problem with the Obama porn is you would have to pay people to watch it.

Fucking degenerates!

BendGuyhere's picture

McCain and the entire fucking CIA just punk'd themselves into oblivion, and Trump didn't have to lift a finger!!

POOF: There goes the entire absurd "Russian Hacking" narrative...

POOF: There goes what little is left of the "Fake News" meme.

Trump's opposition is disintegrating faster than toilet paper in mid flush.

Drumpf is not holding a conference tomorrow. I heard he just shit in his pants.

Your posts are losing their ability to provoke anger. Maybe time to change your screen name (again).

ZIRPY's picture

Where is the link for the original story and the proof that it was sent to Wilson months ago?

That's the smoking gun we need right now.

MsCreant's picture

Me, I am starting to give up knowing anything. Thing is, Trump could have done this, realized he was caught, pay someone to plant this as a hoax story so that when it turned up as real, he could say FAKE NEWS. Then show the story was "planted." Discredit everyone.

It can not be true, Trump get them to plant the story, see if they will bite on it, then totally discredit them when it is proven to be a spoof.

CIA, the real "hacks" are this stupid.

There is no way to know shit about shit.

beijing expat's picture

I would tend towards the stupid explanation.

These people are political hacks and simply don't give a fuck about real intelligence.

They are there to filter out any info that might undermine the narrative they have fabricated.

css1971's picture

There is.

It's how we've progressed for ~4 centuries.

It's the scientific method.

Require evidence. Proof. Everything else is bullshit.

I cannot claim to be a member or otherwise of the "intelligence" community but do profess to have a modicum of intelligence.

In this case I do note that the bleeding obvious is obviously not that obvious. The common sense and/or 'pub' test has not been applied.

The various agencies and their staff appear more as "analists" than "analysts" and is symptomatic of the employment of highly educated and indoctrinated 'folks' lacking in the most basic and important of skills that being the ability to think and reason, not simply espouse and regurgitate. The media are just as much at fault in that regard and their collecive behaviour over the last few months can only be described as appalling.

In the vernacular the loss of 'street cred' has afflicted governments, agencies, media and academia.

It remains to be seen how D.Trump will weather the storm and the extent of his influence.

If he leads by example, calls to account, does what needs to be done, accepts failure and moves onward then just maybe some of the 'dumbing down' can be reversed.

By way of parallel only but amazingly co-incidental D.Trump has the the modern day equivalent of the fifth labour of Hercules, that of cleaning out the Augean stables. The 'swamp draining' might have to adressed in a similar fashion.

He has four years not just a day but as with many stories it does not always turn out well.

History doesn't repeat itself, but it does rhyme.

Bet you're fun at parties.

Can't ya just soak it all in for a minute or three?

Fuck, man. Suck out all the joy in life. It comes in small doses.

every coment section in european papers under this bs story by cnn are laughing out loud... trully pathetic what the msm + intel agencies have become

ArtOfLife's picture

Okay, so the hooker pissing is wrong. But what about the rest of the report?

Victor999's picture

I have no doubt that the rest of the report is just as credible....lies within lies - no proof offered - gossip.

Show a little intelligence.

ArtOfLife's picture

Can we in that case say, that whenever a news organisation publishes something fabricated, we can discredit the entire news organisation?

Jethro's picture

I love you 4Chan!  No homo....ok, maybe 0.025% homo, but thats it.  HAHAHA!

Best election ever!

MsCreant's picture

In the future, when we want to say someone got punked, will we say we got "4chaned" "Rick Wilsoned" or "CIAed?" Or maybe "Fanfictioned?"

swampmanlives's picture

So we will believe Pizzagate is real and that Trump's golden showers are a hoax from 4chan, even though both were started from some dude on the interweb.

AngelaE8654's picture

We don't believe Pizzagate, either.  We knew this was crap when we heard it.

Happy Trump-mas - no crying.

Victor999's picture

Pizzagate, right or wrong, is based on real documents with real content - emails from the server of Podesta.  The golden showers are a work of fiction based on a hoax.  They don't relate, and if you had an ounce of intelligence rather than a vicious little biased mind you would understand the difference.

newworldorder's picture

Bravo. An active and engaged mind is a wonder to behold.

swampmanlives's picture

So I guess Hillary was smart enough not to use the "intel" on Trump during the campaign.

J. Peasemold Gruntfuttock's picture

Swampy old fellow you raise a valid point but if I may be so bold as to tease out a few points.

I do not have any inside knowledge as to whether H. Clinton made the call not to use the document but I would think that there were enough people in her wide web of associates, dare I say friends and maybe confidantes that might have advised that such a document was questionable for any number of reasons that I have highlighted in other postings, and that dishing out excrement tends to leave oneself covered in the same odourous matter.

The document cannot be defined as 'intel' as I previously posted. It contains no intelligence, British or otherwise.

I would agree with you that if H. Clinton had personally given this document the thumbs down then she was exhibiting both intelligence and 'smarts' and is not averse to taking sound advice.

In the matter of the so called '#PizzaGate' it is disingenuous and not reasonable to conflate the above document of dubious auhenticity with email content whose content and source has not been denied, in an effort to diminish the credibility of the emails.

This subject is beter taken up in other forums and is far from over but a most intriguing subject. I bags the movie rights, sequels and merchandising. Please contact me if you want to read the treatment.
