California Senate Leader Admits: "Half Of My Family" In Country Illegally With "False Social Security Cards"

Tyler Durden's picture

In testimony provided before the California Senate's Public Safety Committee, Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Leon (D-Los Angeles) decided to admit that "half of his family" is residing in the United States illegally and with the possession of falsified Social Security Cards and green cards.  Lest you think we're exaggerating, here is the exact quote:

"…I can tell you half of my family would be eligible for deportation under [President Donald Trump’s] executive order, because if they got a false Social Security card, if they got a false identification, if they got a false driver’s license prior to us passing AB60, if they got a false green card, and anyone who has family members, you know, who are undocumented knows that almost entirely everybody has secured some sort of false identification. That’s what you need to survive, to work. They are eligible for massive deportation."

The quote came from a hearing being held on SB54, a California Senate bill that was introduced by De Leon that would make the entire state of California a "Sanctuary State" (we discussed SB54 here:  "California Considering Legislation To Become First Ever Sanctuary State").  Fast forward to the 1:27:00 mark for the relevant comments from De Leon:

Of course, in a follow-up interview with Larry Mantle of KPCC, De Leon was pressed but minimized the problems associated with not only illegally crossing the border but also committing multiple other federal crimes related to identity theft...sure, what's the big deal?  Per Breitbart:

“Someone simply who received or purchased a [fraudulent] Social Security card down at McArthur Park, or elsewhere in my district would be eligible immediately for mass deportation,” De Léon said.

“He’s trying to deputize police officers — and with the suspicion of someone being a criminal or having a broken taillight, that they themselves, as a local police officer, could call the ICE agents immediately and have that person deported without even legal due process.”

Host Larry Mantle asked him: “… First of all, I just — I want to make sure I understand correctly: You don’t think purchasing a phony Social Security card and number should be a deportable offense?”

De Léon replied: “I don’t think so … the vast majority of immigrants — hard working immigrants — have done that.  I can tell you I have family members specifically who came here as undocumented immigrants, and they did the same thing. That’s what you need to do to survive in this economy.”

Mantle objected: “But of course the problem is, — and I know people too — who’ve had their Social Security numbers and identities stolen as a result of that….”

Meanwhile, Trump blasted California's "Sanctuary State" bill last night during an interview with O'Reilly saying that he doesn't "want to defund anybody" but failure to enforce federal laws would require defunding to be used as a "weapon."

“I think it’s ridiculous — sanctuary cities. As you know I’m very much opposed to sanctuary cities. They breed crime. There’s a lot of problems,” Trump said.

“If we have to we’ll defund. We give tremendous amounts of money to California. California in many ways is out of control. Obviously the voters agree. Otherwise they wouldn’t have voted for me,” the president added.

“So defunding is your weapon of choice —” O’Reilly followed up.

“Well, it’s a weapon. I don’t want to defund a state or a city,” Trump replied.

“But you’re willing to do it?” O’Reilly asked again.

“I don’t want to defund anybody. I want to give them the money they need to properly operate as a city or state. If they’re going to have sanctuary cities, we may have to do that. Certainly, that would be a weapon,” Trump said.

Fast forward to the 4:50 mark for the relevant exchange:

Can someone please explain at what exact point in American history it became perfectly acceptable for an elected official to admit publicly that "half" of his family has committed numerous federal crimes including multiple counts of identity theft and falsification of federal records?

No worries! You and your family can all return to where you belong. Problem fixed!

Keep digging that hole deeper and deeper for yourself, libs.  Let all the ugly out that we know is in you for the whole country to see.

And, not to pick nits, but Trump's EO doesn't deport ANYBODY who is currently in the country illegally.  Not that facts matter to libs, of course.

The point came when the President of the U.S. provided a forged image of a birth certificate to silence complaints of his own federal crimes of ID theft and elections fraud.

Just when you thought we couldn't get any crazier people within the San Francisco governement want to make the Tenderloin a historical Tranny place, with some sort of monument or something.

baah baah baah batshit crazy!

So this is the big open secret, eh?  Everyone knows someone who's stealing SSN and IDs.  Yet NO ONE knows of anyone who uses those documents to VOTE illegally to maintain those benefits.  Bullshit.

His argument is really simple.  In a  nutshell: "Because my family are corrupt, we need to change the application of the law to accept corruption."   So sad.

This story defines the split in our society perfectly!

People like this representative come from a culture of "the state is all powerful, and the way around that is for the people to act in their own interest outside the law."  Ironically, this is a very libertarian attitude in its practical application.  What it encourages is precisely what we see in much of Latin America, governments that are acknowledged by everyone to be corrupt cesspools, with individuals finding ways to subvert the authority over them at all levels of society.  It's a society of corruption, from top to bottom.

Somehow, the original founders of the U.S. were able to foster a culture with the opposite pairing.  The government had very little power or influence, which gave the inhabitants of the country the ability to act in their own interests without those interests running into corrupt government opposition.  People could act in their own interests without being corrupt.  What a concept!!

The people representated by this politician are creating the Latin American system in the U.S., destroying the unique culture that made this country what it was.

Sadly, given how easy socialism is to market to people who don't begin to understand simple societal cause and effect, socialism is winning.  Corruption is the law of the future until somewhere some group of people manage to carve out and defend a new geographical home for a philosophy that government IS by its nature a corrupting influence.

"Half Of My Family" In Country Illegally With "False Social Security Cards"

All of the adult Clintons are criminals... so what's your point?

Richard Chesler's picture

How do you think I became senator?

The Alarmist's picture

OK, so he has immunity for crap he says on the floor or in the chambers of the Assembly, but his family does not ... when do we round them up for some extra special intensive vetting and deportation?

Seriously, if they can get away with being this blatant, then it really is game over.

AVmaster's picture

Oh for fucks sakes. Its not that hard to get legalized. It's about $500-$2000 and 6 months, depending on which road you take.

This dude has plenty of money(and power) and yet he won't get his own families' papers right?

What a shitbag... I would hate to acknowledge that he's in my family...

The Saint's picture

Can we just print up Wanted posters and put them on telephone poles, etc. for illegal immigrants?  We could just put a bounty on them Dead or Alive.  Bring in the right thumb and a picture of the body to collect the bounty.

shamus001's picture

Fuck-n-a! 500/head, my guns will start payin for themselves. I would SERIOUSLY start roundin up illegals at 500/head!

The Alarmist's picture

Worse than that, he has monetised the plight of his family.  Probably without sharing any of the proceeds with them to help them with their "plight".  Truly a douchebag!

Count One: Illegal entry...misdemeanor, for first offense.

Count Two (Consolidated): Acquiring multiple forged federal documents...felonies.

Count Three (Consolidated): Presenting forged documents with intent to deceive officials and/or employers...felonies.

Count Four: Being related by birth or marriage to a terminally stupid California politician involved in an ongoing criminal conspiracy...absolutely priceless ;-)

If they were legal they would not recieve all the freebies they do today , simple. More than 50% in Kawleefornya receive some form of freebie illegally. Probably close to 75%. And this asshole thinks he is on the right side of things simply because it has been that way for decades. In other words a self fulfilling prophecy created by the left NWO titheads.

But half his family is on welfare and can't afford that!

It is actually not true. America, while being an immigrant country, does not have a legal path for immigration for a guy who lives, let’s say in Spain and wants to immigrate to US. To Canada, yes, there is a path, to Australia there is a path too. But not to US. Canada has either a sponsorship path or a point path. If you have relatives, they can sponsor you. If you DO NOT HAVE relatives, then you can file an application to the embassy in your home country along with a questionnaire. One needs to score some points based on age, education, ability to speak a legal language and ability to support the family for 6 months. And vuala, you get a visa and permanent residence. In the US, and you Americans should understand it, the immigration procedure is designed to fill the country with the poorest people to swing the balance from the middle class to have-nots. You eliminate the jobs on one hand, and flood the country with have-nots-and vuala, you have a majority vote, just promise Obama cell phone. But, if you get a working visa, which is a miracle by itself, have income, have your house in US, pay your taxes, obey the fucking law, and pay for your medical insurance-there is no way you’ll ever get a Green Card. They need stupid schmucks who believe that 2 aluminum airplanes pierced 3 steel buildings. This is my personal observation collected from a close friend’s case who wasted 11 years of his live and never got his Green Card. From my perspective, he should not be sorry at all.

HI, I am legaly here, but as a student, but please can you inbox me those ways? im interested. and which states is that? CA or CHI or DC? Please, let me know, I would like to be fully legalized. Thank you

I guess the lunatics who think they're running this asylum think that their lunacy has become the norm. To wit:

As long as you have good intentions, and maintain political correctness, you can pick and choose which laws to follow;

That "evidence" of voter fraud does not exist, even though untold numbers of illegals in California are "legally" able to vote through the motor voter registration system which automatically registers illegals who have drivers licences granted to them by law;

That all people who even remotely suggest that identification laws should be followed are automatically "xenophobic, racist, and deplorable";

Trump is RIGHT. This needs to be properly investigated. The State's "investigations" are a fucking JOKE: they merely verify that all voters had been properly registered and identified through the states' FLAWED registration systems.

Stinkytofu's picture

immunity?  that's just for slander.

if he admits to crimes while speaking on the floor, he can

still be investigated and prosecuted.

IMPORTANT thing to consider....how many of his illegal

family members voted for him?

The IRS knows, a report out that said for the last 3 or 4 years the IRS has failed to notify 4  million americans that their SSNs are being used by someone else.  WTF.   I use to collect taxes and and often I would see 2 or more illegals use the same SSN at the same work place.  Also when I skip traced Juan Valdez in state A, it would come to a Jane White in state B.  Saw it every day.  To add insult to injury the illegals working here also claim all their nieces and nephews in mexico as dependents and get 6 to 7 thousand earned child income tax credit.  So we are giving them money to take our jobs.  Nice.

JLee2027's picture

So the whole tax structure has been destroyed (Post your SSN online so an illegal can use it and pay your taxes?) because your SSN is used elsewhere and they can no longer track, effectively, who has paid tax?

LOL

Well guess what?  What I need to do to survive in this econoomy is to stop paying income taxes.  I'm sure this legislator will agree with me.

goober's picture

As well all tax burden is shifted to legal entities like white people who get to pay for it all, but have no say in who or what they are paying for. The modern day form of taxation without representation. Exactly what happened in the last revolution.

Do illegal aliens have nore representation than you do ? That is the only valid question that exist in this entire matter ! The only other issue is are your tire of paying to get fucked 24/7/365 ? There is a far better way to live, think and take action.

IntTheLight's picture

No you idiot. They file before you and get the refund. And you get nothing.

JLee2027's picture

Since my ""refund"" would be seized for unpaid child support, are you telling me an illegal just paid my child support?

Why, thank you.

Mr. Fed. A few years ago I went to the SS to remedy a problem that I had and when they young woman whose job it was to help invited me to sit by her desk asked for my SS number. Into the computer went the number and lo and behold, there were two names with that number. Mine and some Chinese guy who worked in a Chinese joint located in Annapolis Maryland. The Social Security Admin know this as well and if they deny that fact, then they are liars as well. .gov know damned well that the tax id data base is full of duplicate personages attached to these numbers.

shamus001's picture

Moved my daughter to Washington state, and in 1 year discovered her SS# was beingcused by an illegal in the same county! How the hell did her SS get swiped that fast!?

IntTheLight's picture

The IRS has said 4 billion a year goes to illegals with TINs claiming children that don't exist. 58,000 refunds one year went to one address. Not 58,000 in refunds. 58,000 returns filed from one address.

erkme73's picture

My wife is an ER physician.  She told me of a non-English speaking patient (most of them) who had a flattened foot.  He claimed (through a hospital-provided interpreter) that it was an accident at home - not work related.   He provided a SSN and was triaged.   Within an hour, a white guy shows up in the ED and says it was his worker who had his foot run over by a forklift.  He said he was going to pay for everything out of pocket.   At that point the illegal piped up, "Can I change my SSN?".   "Sure" the triage nurse said, and she changed it.   The whole effing thing is a racket.  We're the suckers who keep paying into it.

Fed Supporter's picture

I've been watching Austraila Border Control on Netflix and they are pretty sensible.  Stop farm wokers to check visas.  Ask people at point of entry why they don't have enough money to stay 3 months (because they intend to work illegally) vacation.  They all get deported.  Stop people with fake documents, etc etc.  It used to be done like that in the America.

@silky, thats correct. I was scrolling around looking to see if anyone had made the connection yet.

Thats him, in the flesh. This fucktard couldn't find his ass in the dark with both hands. I REALLY hope that since what he is admitting to is a felony, and he is outting his family members as felons, they hammer his stupid ass and his family. Im so fucking sick of these people throwing their lawlessness in our faces and expecting understanding and sympathy.

When does he get to the part where he tells us how his family all voted for him and his colleagues?

Someone needs to take them all for a tour of the southern Mexican border to view the shallow graves of those who tried to illegally enter Mexico.

Hmmm, Half my family. Has he named them, or are we taking potentially millions? Someone already mentioned batshit crazy, I guess that covers it. Seems like a lot of that going around ...

I ran a small business in the Inland Empire outside of Los Angeles a decade ago with many Hispanic employees. Periodically a federal agency would write to inform us that an empoyee's social security number did not match the name with furnished with their withholding documents.  We would call the individual in and in most cases inform them through an interpretor of the problem and they would say they are using their birth, mother's, Catholic  blah, blah, name.

We would tell them they couldn't legally work until correct documents were submitted.  Monday morning they would appear with a new set of docs; SS and a CA DL.  After this happened I got out a set of calipers and magnify glass and compared my docs to theirs.  Absolutely perfect including the hologram. Just do to downtown LA and you can get docs to certify you are an airline pilot or whatever government agency issues certs.

Verifiable paper ballots with ID and proof of citizenship would be RACIST, therefore we will never get them as long as Democrats have any power.  Never mind that Guyana requires ID + proof of citizenship + an address check.  Guyanans can't be racist because they aren't white.
