Turkey Says "Migrant Deal Has Ended", May Unleash Millions Of Refugees

Tyler Durden's picture

As we noted moments ago, the tit-for-tat aggression resumed its escalation between Turkey and the Netherlands, with Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus exclaiming from Ankara that "Europe's politicians are under fascist, neo-nazi influence" and in response, Turkey will suspend all high-level diplomatic meetings and cancel all flight permissions for Dutch politicians.

As part of its furious response, Turkey said it would impose various travel sanctions on Dutch diplomats such as halting all high-level political discussions with the Netherlands in the wake of the Dutch government's decision to bar two cabinet ministers from campaigning in the country. Kurtulmus said during a news conference following a weekly cabinet meeting that Ankara also is closing its air space to Dutch diplomats until the Netherlands meets Turkish requests, according to the AP.

Kurtulmus also says the Dutch ambassador to Turkey, who was traveling when the diplomatic row started, won't be allowed to return, and said that Turkey's government plans to advise parliament to withdraw from a Dutch-Turkish friendship group.

It was unclear what the sudden Turkish escalation means for economic ties between the two nations: as a reminder,  Dutch direct investment in Turkey amounts to $22 billion, making the Netherlands the biggest source of foreign investment with a share of 16%.  Furthermore, Turkish exports to the Netherlands totalled $3.6 billion in 2016, making it the tenth largest market for Turkish goods, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute. Turkey imported $3 billion worth of Dutch goods in 2016. Should the diplomatic spat lead to a collapse in trade relations, a Turkey recession is all but assured.

Kurtulmus said the political sanctions will apply until the Netherlands takes steps to "redress" its actions. He said: "There is a crisis and a very deep one. We didn't create this crisis or bring to this stage."

However the most troubling development, and one which has the potential to sway the outcome of the Dutch election which will be held in less than two days, is that in the final power play aimed towards Merkel, Kurtulmus exclaimed that since "Europe has not kept its promises on the migrant deal, for us that agreement has ended."

Which means that one year after it collected $3 billion for the migrant deal, Turkey has just voided the agreement, and the next step would be that Turkey is about to flood Europe with refugees currently held inside Turkish borders. And since by some estimates Turkey currently harbors over 2 million potential migrants, Europe's refugee situation is about to get far worse, and as a corollary, support for anti-immigrant political organizations across the continent is about to take another step function higher.

The only way to end the refugee crisis, is to stop the USA bombing the ME, the US has been bombing the ME for 30 years, and is unlikely to stop voluntarily.

Everybody is Missing It

To stop the Turkish Refugees all one has to do is let the state make a profit off them and make sure they know it..

'In our 500 square mile greenhouse complex you will be paid 5 cents for every pound of Tomatoes you pick size and box. You are welcome to buy them at the end of your shift for $5 / pound.  You may also pick beans, and buy them for your rice meals which you should be able to afford if you pick  and process roughly 400 lbs of food a day.  All your food can be purchased after hours with the money you make working in the greenhouses. Everything you will do here is paid by how much you can accomplish. Because you have needed support you must also be sterilized from reproducing while staying here. You may buy a free market ticket to leave Europe only... After 5 years of service in the greenhouse you may apply for a EU membership.  This is a economic exclusion zone therefore there is no minimum wage, no minimum age. If all your children feel they can assist you in your work you may put them to do so, that is up to you.  Do not mind the soldiers who surround the greenhouses they are there for your safety.

Kids may attend the Eurpean Advantage indoctrination courses. They will not be taught anything useful that would enable them to competitively integrate but left with low level basic math to assist them in being able to understand how many pounds of food they need to do in the greenhouses while they work here..

Thank You for making food in Europe very cheap for the rest of the citizens.

Do note we have other exclusion zones for manufacturing our European televisions, products, cement works, and infrastructure like street lamps. They too pay by the pound.

Because of your sacrifices you have made for Europe we can now compete with Chinese slaves GDP production and we would welcome your other family members to come work in the camps.

An EU naval blockade of both EU seas adjoining Turkey and the international waters adjoining Libyan waters is long overdue and critically necessary immediately.

"Chancellor Konrad Adenauer today rejected proposals that the German Government establish a special commission for denazification of anti-Semitic and anti-democratic elements in the federal administration, Judiciary, educational services and the press.

Dr. Gerhard Schroeder, Minister of the Interior, told newspapermen here that the Chancellor “will not consider such a move,” declaring that such action might result in “unnecessary difficulties.” “With the help of the people,” Dr. Schroeder said, “the authorities can deal with the problem, without resorting to such drastic step.”

Temporal escalation. All this will quiet down after elections.

Unless of course, Le Pen, Wilders, Bossi and Petry win in respective elections big.

If not, things will keep on brewing, even though the escalation will quiet down.

One simple way to beat that.  Don't pay migrants.

Dutch Froggy's picture

The Dutch government had requested the Turkish government not to hold any pro Erdogan campaign mass rallies in the Netherlands. The Turkish government has willingly chosen to neglect these requests. It directed its foreign minister Cavusoglu to go the Netherlands to hold a pro Erdogan campaign rally. After been threatened by the Turkish government the Dutch government denied foreign minister Cavusoglu access to the Netherlands. Alternatively the Turkish government directed minister Kaya of the Department of Family Affiars, who was in Germany, to go to the Netherlands in order to hold a pro Erdogan campaign rally. This despite the Dutch request not to go to the Netherlands. The Turkish used various cars when entering the Netherlands in order to deceive the Dutch authorities. The use of several cars made it difficult to detect in which car minister Kaya was seated. As she deliberately ignored the request of the Dutch government and did not enjoy diplomatic immunity minister Kaya was escorted back to Germany. During this process there was frequent contact between the Dutch and Turkish governments. The Dutch requests was at all times completely ignored. Instead of cooperating the Turkish government chose to publicly threaten the Dutch government while diplomatic efforts where still going on.

To use the words of the Dutch journalist Sylvain Ephimenco: The Turkish government demands that Turkish censors who have deprived Turkish journalists of their freedom of expression in Turkey should have the opportunity to hold mass rallies in the Netherlands to poison minds in the name of freedom of expression.

Under Turkish law campaigning abroad is an administrative violation within the authority of the Turkish Supreme Board of Elections (SBE). Erdogan’s government willingly and deliberately violates the rules of Turkish Supreme Board of Elections (SBE).

So let me see:
Obama campaigning in Ukraine's elections, Israel's elections, the UK's BrExit vote, and more - OK (by the left)
Turkey campaigning against nationalist movements in Europe - OK (by the left)
Putin's gregarious ambassador mixing it up with various US politicians - not OK.
Double standard, much.

Russia, the USA, North Korea can threaten to unleash nuclear weapons to terrorize others. But they have nothing on Erdogan, he will unleash the Turkish neutron bomb, millions of Rapeugees who will find the EU gates held wide open by liberals as they rush in to pillage it, and turn it into a spiritual, cultural and economic shite hole full of persecution, murder and screaming Islamic extremists.

Time to close and reinforce European borders with Turkey, and make very sure to blame Turkey for the suffering of refugees that Turkey was paid to assist.
And when I say "reinforce," I mean shoot as necessary.
Some eastern EU members have already reached that stage.

May the muslim Spring Offensive towards Europe FINALLY open the eyes of even the most obtuse globalists.

The idiot past politicians of The Netherlands now have a burgeoning nightmare to witness; hoards of shaved headed bearded men screaming about a concept of god created by 7th Century warlord. While it was the best thing the warlord could conjure the Dutch should be whipped collectively for allowing these creatures within 1000 kilometers of their borders.

How fucking stupid are these ex-politicians?

We may never know but for certain make it a priority that the idiots suffer the most for thinking muslims are decent, normal folk. In fact offer the children of the dumb Dutch for some type of Koranic "consumption". The muslims will be  more than eager to defile the innocents. Just make sure there's plenty of video for forced viewing by the parents of the deceased.

If you see a bunch of jihadi looking types screaming in the village square make a note to kick the mayor's teeth in.

Turks = Huns

Seventh-century Chinese sources preserve the origins of the Turks stating that they were a branch of the Hsiung-nu (Huns) and living near the "West Sea", perhaps the Caspian Sea.[42] Modern sources tends to indicate that the Turks' ancestors lived within the state of the Hsiung-nu in the Transbaikal area and that they later, during the fifth century, migrated to the southern Altay.[42]

This is all just a set up, organized between Angela Merkel, Mark Rutte and Erdogan. This fake diplomatic war is intended to boost Ruttes failing popularity and at the same time give Erdogan an enemy to fulminate against, also to  boost support for him.

You'll see: if Mark Rutte (VVD) wins the election, the fake fight with Erdogan will be resolved in no time.
