Intelligence Sources Reveal: Obama Used British Agents For Trump Wire Tap Surveillance

Tyler Durden's picture

Authored by Mac Slavo via,

While President Obama has vehemently denied issuing direct orders to the Justice Department or other domestic agencies to monitor President Trump during the 2016 election campaign, it is common knowledge that the National Security Agency has the ability to access video and audio from any number of devices in real time. In fact, according to Edward Snowden and documented in the recently released Snowden motion picture, U.S. spy agencies can simply flip a switch to watch or listen in on anything going on in a particular room by turning on a particular device’s cameras and microphones.

Here’s how it works:

The technology is real, but according to legal scholars, would have been illegal to use on Donald Trump or his surrogates without a warrant or probable cause indicating links to terrorist organizations.

But while domestic spy agencies like the NSA and CIA can’t actively monitor a citizen on U.S. soil, there is a very convenient work-around that has been used for over a decade to accomplish this task without technically breaking the law.

According to three intelligence sources who spoke with Judge Napolitano, this is exactly what President Obama did to then-candidate Donald Trump.

Steve Watson explains:

Three separate intelligence sources believe that former President Obama veered ‘outside the chain of command’ and employed British surveillance agents to conduct surveillance on Donald Trump’s team prior to the election, according to a legal analyst.

Judge Andrew Napolitano revealed on ‘Fox & Friends’ this morning that the sources spilled the details to him as the controversial case continues to dominate headlines.

Three intelligence sources have informed Fox News that President Obama went outside the chain of command,” Napolitano said. “He didn’t use the NSA, he didn’t use the CIA, he didn’t use the FBI, and he didn’t use the Department of Justice.”

“He used GCHQ.” Napolitano explained.

“What the heck is GCHQ? That’s the initials for the British spying agency. They have 24/7 access to the NSA database.” The Judge explained.

Napolitano noted that this was done to secure plausible deniability. In other words, even if the Obama administration did spy on Trump, there may never be a way to prove it.

“So by simply having two people go to them saying, ‘President Obama needs transcripts of conversations involving candidate Trump, conversations involving president-elect Trump,’ he’s able to get it, and there’s no American fingerprints on this. ”Napolitano added.

"Do you really think Obama would be able to clandestinely coordinate illegal activities on US soil"

That's where i stopped reading. Have you been under a rock for 8 years?

gonetogalt's picture

Look, at some point you're going to peek down the rabbit hole. It'll blow your mind. Until then you should keep your horseshit propagandized opinions to yourself.

Probably 1/3 of all high level Federal officials from POTUS (not this one) down are compromsed by at least homosexual behavior, all the way from Skull and Bones, who process 100 members a year, through stuff like the Franklin S&L affair through pedogate in all it's buried ganglia...And all the take offs of the Masonic order, the Catholic Church...

For Christ's sake, look at Podesta doing overt Satanic shit and advising two presidents. When so many of the power brokers are butt-fucked into the club by age 12 or so, who do you think is going to break ranks. We have to kill them all, their wives, parents, children and in most cases, extended family. Probably 50 million or so. Adolph didn't have a clue as to the magnitude of the task. Oh, that's impossible/not practical? Yea, youre right.

Christ is the only force powerful enough to right this global nightmare. Lucifer truly rules this planet.

This pretty much a Lawinsky tactic from Bill Clinton days when he was being looked into for Chinagate but the public got distracted by his sexual ploys instead. Hillary's second Chinagate with Clinton foundation could undo the whole rug if someone at the WhiteHouse would pull on just one string, but it might bring down the whole Demo-rats and they can't let that happen so let's just keep the pressure up on a Trump rage....

One Brit is already in hiding... The smart one.

EuroPox's picture

I don't get it.  If GCHQ was asked for the info and they got it from the NSA database, then the illegal tap was still done by the NSA.  What difference does it make who actually gave the info to Barry?

2muchtax's picture

They use mental gymnastics to make it legal. NSA spies on everyone but need probable cause to look at it. They share with UK were no probable cause is needed to spy on US citizens...Therfore no warrent is needed.

Essentially, they break the law, but it's ok if they don't use it. Then send it to people outside the US whp aren't subject to our laws.

PS we do the exact same in reverse, then use parallel reconstruction to build a legal case.

What's this Constitution thing I heard about in school growing up? Why did it die?

Vilfredo Pareto's picture

That seems to require too much of an evidence trail.  Someone might notice and say "oh shit.  The Brits want info on trump?"

If the Brits did it, and I can't imagine they are truly that reckless and crazy, then surely they would use their own methods to put trump tower and associates under surveillance?  Maybe with a Russian or Chinese fingerprint?  Lol.

If they truly are that reckless and loose they will be busted someday.  Not everyone is stupid.

I already commented on the GCHQ story yesterday and again earlier today and in that last one I also explained that, but I can't find that latest post anymore.

The answer is that the FISA warrant is required to look into the already intercepted data, and I don't mean meta-data, I mean the already recorded intercepted contents of email messages, voice communications and other kinds of electronic communication.
That the tap was made is not the issue (in the wrapped sense of the law covering domestics NSA taps), because apparently everything is already recorded. Instead what is considered the 'wiretap' in these cases (using the old fashioned term from the old laws) is not the taps themselves but just the act of looking into it.

So to get a copy of or a transcript from a phone communication requires a FISA warrant (for cases where FISA applies). The actual tap may already been done, simply because they record and store everything, but no one is (supposed to be) able to actually look into whatever has been recorded by the NSA.

But I also noted that I found the whole charade with going via GCHQ a bit odd because while it leaves no trace, it also is still quite illegal to do without a warrant (unless Obama ordered or requested it) simply because for these kind of NSA taps it is not the tapping what requries a warrant, it is using/looking into that data (which happens the moment it is handed back from the Brits to any US person).
So the only way to hide it (using NSA data) is indeed via the cousins, but the only way to get away with it (legally) is to be president IMHO.

Also note the last link below: the head of GCHQ resigned unexpectedly, 3 days after the Inauguration of Trump ...

Unlitro's picture

Thanks for clarifying such critical detail.
And for adding the interesting coincidence.

Vilfredo Pareto's picture

why assume if it happened gchq got it from the NSA?   They are perfectly capable of using SS7 anywhere in the world, or other neat tricks they may have lol.  They could hack the tower and trump associates themselves

tip e. canoe's picture

the cries of Russia, Russia, Russia should be all too clear now.

The technology is real, but according to legal scholars, would have been illegal to use on Donald Trump or his surrogates without a warrant or probable cause indicating links to terrorist organizations.

roadhazard's picture

LOL, ZH fake news. Brietbart plants it and Alex Jones replants it. Trump is going to get paranoider and parinoider.

Vilfredo Pareto's picture

Lol.   Almost sounds like a plan.

Paranoia strikes deep
Into your life it will creep
It starts when you're always afraid

Unwashed's picture

So Obama/Clapper/Brennan were refused FISA court order so they did an end-around by requesting the Brits to access Trump's conversations in the NSA data banks?

If so, the NSA would have digital evidence those conversations were accessed.

Stan522's picture

Jail time, or at the very least complete humiliation for obama if they can without a doubt prove it in a court of law.....

Comey was going to use the fake piss document author as a paid source. McCain sent a trusted friend to retrieve the same document...These folks are all hacks and Obama the worse of all..Of course every government conspired against Trump. Read their damn statements...

juggalo1's picture

This sounds like horseshit.  If there was any evidence or credible source in the government who wanted to make this claim, they could make it publicly.  Trump would give them the Presidential Medal of Freedom for something like this.  And if you're going to say they are afraid of the Clinton / Democratic assassination team, who is easier to assassinate?  Someone leaking privately or someone publicly at the center of a huge congressional criminal investigation?  Linda Tripp is alive and has suffered zero repercussions.

silverer's picture

The elitist Brits are bad actors. Check out the documents over the years produced showing their evil. I absolutely would not put it past the Brits to do that.

LOL123's picture

The Brit who slipped the doc to McCain is in hiding... He's the smart one...

ajkreider's picture

It's such huge news, but it's not even on Fox or the Breitbart frontpage.  Skeptical.

War should immediately be declared on "Not so Great" Britain.

johnnycanuck's picture

"Three separate intelligence sources believe that"

People believe a lot of things but  that doesn't make it true.  Trading in hearsay or he said, she said from unidentified sources doesn't increase one's credibility.

silverer's picture

Well, the Russians probably know who did it. Think Trump could go to them for proof? Yeah, right.

Gulfcoastcommentary's picture

Agree with you, but this is a "war for your mind" where innuendo, "highly-placed sources" and other "opinions" count. It's a propaganda war that the right doesn't do as well as The Left.  I believe the full truth will come out in this case.

crossroaddemon's picture

Keep telling yourself that. You and I are never going to know what really happened. This ridiculous notion that right always triumphs goes against all historical precedent.

Fishthatlived's picture

Weren't you the guy who told me a couple days ago that his returns would prove his Russian collusion and who he owes money to?

johnnycanuck's picture

Where are his returns?  And no I didn't tell you that, I told you his FULL corporate returns would show who he owes money to and how much if he wanted to use the legal options to write off interest etc against profits.  Are you slow r sumpthn?

Fishthatlived's picture

Not slow enough not to know that corporate debt is different than personal debt.

TheLastTrump's picture

Unfortunately this leftist? poster is correct....but since he's NEVER said anything negative about media "sources" used to convict Trump then I call a foul ball.

If FOX won't disclose a source assume it's FAUX NEWZ.

Vilfredo Pareto's picture

If any news source won't disclose real evidence it should also be considered speculative.  Be fair and balanced now :)

esum's picture

This has the BRENNAN odor
A douchebag who never did an op in his life....
And was willing to spy on congress and break the law....
Ass sniffing ball licking libtard buffoon...

Vilfredo Pareto's picture

It really does. Brennan and Hannigan are the obvious prime suspects if GCHQ were involved.  Brennan was the Obama partisan from beginnong to end.

Even Dianne Feinstein accused the CIA of monitoring the senate select committee on intelligence.   Is she a tin foil hatter?

Brennan is also the obvious suspect for release of the CIA assessment to NBC and unofficially authorizing the leak of  Flynn surveillance transcripts to the New York Times. With Obama's executive order unredacted raw intelligence is to be shared among the IC.   Trump and his associates were incidental communications with Russians under surveillance.   The CIA got hold of domestic surveillance from either FBI or NSA.

It only took about 11,000 total insurgents in Iraq to tie down hundreds of thousands of troops + "contractors" for years.

Business as usual for the "most transparent administration in history"...

Imagine Obummer, Hitlary, and at least some of their direct report minions in prison.
Wow. What a great year that would be!

Lib-Tard response will be another temper tantrum. Perhaps they will emigrate to greener Lib-Tard pastures where the deplorables there can afford to support them and "their" government parasites.

Well all of this is very entertaining. Meanwhile Drumpf looks like he is about to start a war with North Korea and now has troops in Syria.  I told the trump tards. this guy would be bush on steroids.

The whole 5-eyes relationship smells of cozy shit.  Illegal to do something in the US.  No problem.  Just go to UK to get same data.  And Vice-versa for the UK to spy on their people.  We have been duped people.

There's picture

Actually it was Israel on contract to UK operatives, with the assistance of the Staci.

TheLastTrump's picture

there is no "there" there

Vilfredo Pareto's picture

I hope not.

I would like to believe the Brits there would be no direct British interest there, hence no operation.
