Mac Slavo Warns Prepare For War: "It's Going To Obliterate The Global Financial System..."

Tyler Durden's picture

Authored by Mac Slavo via SHTFplan.com,

You know what’s so tragic about America? Despite all of the wars our nation gets involved in, we’re secretly one of the most peaceful cultures on the planet. We voted for George Bush, because he promised us a non-interventionist foreign policy. We voted for Obama, because he promised to bring the troops home from Iraq and Afghanistan. We voted for Trump, because he promised to end the nation building policies of his predecessor.

And that’s the real tragedy. We’ve been voting for peace for nearly 20 years now, and all we get is war.

That should really tell you something. It should tell you that our system doesn’t care about what the president stands for, or what the voters want. The system is never held accountable for anything, so there is nothing stopping it. One way or another, the deep state always gets its way. So if our government wants a war, then you can bet that we’re going to war.

That was made abundantly clear last week when President Trump ordered the bombing of an air base in Syria. The attack was so provocative, that the Kremlin went so far as to say that the US is now “only one step from war” with Russia. The man who was supposed to buck the system and drain the swamp; the man who promised to restore our relationship with Russia and pull back from brinkmanship, seems to have finally submitted to the warmongers in our government. The deep state’s plan to drag us into a horrible conflagration was only temporarily derailed by Trump, and now it appears that their plans are back on track.

But there’s a silver lining in all of this. Once you know that war is inevitable, and you accept that fact, you can have a pretty good idea of what’s going to happen next. You can finally take steps to prepare for it.

syria-tomahawk-attack1

As for what to expect next, you can bet the farm that our economy is not going to survive the next major war, especially if it involves a conflict with Russia or China. Even if this war doesn’t turn into a nuclear slugfest, it’s going to obliterate the global economy and financial system.

For years Russia and China have been building an alternative to the dollar dominated financial system. They’ve built the BRICS financial bloc, they’ve been stocking up on gold, and they’ve been establishing trade agreements that don’t involve the dollar. When war breaks out, there’s going to be another system waiting in the wings to replace the dollar, which has been the world’s reserve currency for decades. The war will motivate China, Russia, and their allies, to pull the rug out from under the current economic paradigm.

Obviously that’s going to significantly weaken the value of the dollar, but it will be just the beginning. The cost of fighting this war will be astronomical. To give you an idea of how costly it will be, World War Two pushed our nation into the highest debt to GDP ratio that we’ve ever been in; a level we haven’t come close to again until very recently. Think about that. We have almost the same debt to GDP ratio as we had when we fought the most expensive and destructive war in our history. As the Wealth Research Group has already pointed out, the dollar is practically on life support. Our government is buried in debt and practically broke as it is, and the cost of fighting another world war would put us over the edge. We’d be bankrupt in no time at all.

When you consider all of this, one thing is absolutely clear. If Trump drags us into another major war, regardless of whether or not it is global in scope, the dollar is going to crash. It may not even survive in its current form. And when that happens, people are going to flee toward safe haven assets. You can rest assured that gold is going to make a comeback, the likes of which none of us have seen in our lifetimes.

The heavy hitters in the investment community have been predicting a dramatic change in the gold market for some time now. And unlike the general public, they weren’t persuaded into thinking that someone like Trump was going to save our country from collapse. For instance, Doug Casey of Casey Research; perhaps one of the most well-respected economic prognosticators, told Future Money Trends the following:

The one thing I feel very confident of is we’re going to have financial chaos in years to come and that’s going to drive people into gold and to a lesser degree into silver.

There’s absolutely  no reason from  fundamental point of view for bonds and stocks to be as high as they are right now… We’re in for a huge political, financial, demographic and military upset… these people might start World War III or seem like they’re trying to with the Russians… It’s a very dangerous situation.

He said that back in December, after Trump was elected but before he took office. Though he was optimistic about Trump, he clearly wasn’t convinced that he’d be able to prevent an economic collapse. Neither was Amir Adnani, the CEO of GoldMining Inc. Without even considering the possibility of war, he predicted that Trump’s policies would lead to a gold market rally.

So this is really an exceptional window and opportunity for us. We built a war chest with over $21 million of cash on hand, the very large resource base that we have, and that serves as a key point of drawing more companies to us who want to be part of the platform that we’re building. So this is a very interesting window for us; I believe this is a temporary window as well, because there’s no doubt in my mind that the policies of President Trump will prove to be very inflationary. And these very inflationary policies will drive real interest rates into the negative territory, and I really do believe that the stage is set for higher gold prices, but of course, these things take time to develop and manifest themselves.

But when you add war to the mix, it’s obvious that the dollar isn’t going to be able to maintain its current value. Our financial system is both fragile and under enormous pressure. It was already headed toward collapse, and the costs associated with another major war are going to expedite that process. When it happens, only the folks with real assets will be above water. Assets like land, weapons, food, and of course gold, will be the only things separating the haves from the have nots.

Thats why I gave up after Gore got Bushed!

Manthong's picture

Bush almost got Gored with the carbon tax exchange and enviro- wackiness.

At least Gore's chakra got off when it got Googled.

I just heard that whack job on a commercial screaming about how we have to give the globalists control of all of our resources or the planet will kill us. Then immediately afterwards I saw this article about how they found a 14,000 yo native settlement in Canada that has ad stable sea level throughout that timeframe.

"There is also evidence to suggest that the sea-level around Triquet Island has remained remarkably stable for 15,000 years throughout the end of the last Ice Age. This again confirms that this area acted as a haven of stability over the millennia, just as the Heiltsuk Nation have said all along."

TEOTWAIKI's picture

That settles it for me.

I'm heading out to Triquet Island.

Sounds like the perfect bug-out location to sit out the Great War.

Thanks, Ms No.

Cui Bono's picture

Pretty weak assertion- "there is also evidence" and that's it- no evidence at all. Do they really mean to say that the sea level was hundreds of feet lower everywhere but right there? If you want to really make your head hurt look at the GRCE II project

this article is terrible

Gotta wonder if Mac Slavo is even a real person ? Do your own research and see for yourself. Something is not right with that entity. Goog any other person like, Mike Adams, Alex Jones, J Rawles or any other with a large site following and all manner of info comes up, both plus and minus. This guy does not seem to exist for real and I have simply wondered why that is ? Beyond that I have been to the site many times over the years and it is always the same diatribe of just more internet marketing of junk and very little useful anything. Lots of prepper fantasy folks who make many claims but could not fight their way out of a wet paper bag. I have noticed many copy/paste articles rerun at their site from ZH and that caught my interest about a year ago. But by and large never really any good useful information, just an echo chamber of prepper types that live in their own perspective of reinforcement and redundancy. I would say many there have become much more aware than the average guy of the many forms of corruption and criminality in our governemnt and that is a good thing. At the same time they are simply a form of group reinforced ditto heads being marketed for click bait. But all of the sites mentioned are all about internet marketing one way or another and put out their own flavor of BS. Nothing new here in USA today. I suppose you just have to fumble thru it all to get any truth at all ?

Many have also noticed that ZH has changed drasticly. So what is the connection between ZH today and SHTF ? I am not certain but I think I know. Of course Tyler Durden does not exist either so the question is why does anybody create a false entity/identity ?  Who owns and operates ZH and SHTF ? My how things change, Hey ? I am not suggesting any diabolicle endeavor or connection, just that something does not square with me on this. But many things do not square with me nowadays and that too is nothing new.

I'm beginning to realize people need something big to fear in their lives.

As Agent Smith said, the human mind will reject a perfect world.

Against all logic, even intelligent, rational people that question the Deep State on every other one of their lies, still blindly chug down the pablum about mythical doomsday weapons that have zero scientific basis, and have never been used.

Everyone keep worrying about this Newk Woar that will never, ever, EVER happen.

I'm going to go enjoy the sunshine, knowing the only "Fungus" clouds will be cumulus.

what is real is what is going on that can be seen. the mid east destruction. then blowback, as it draws in bigger adversaries as their interests are comprimised, like warm water ports. then the game of thrones escalates. how big will the sword be? i don't know? but rational minds would not escalate this to that state. but rational minds are not in charge, obviously by what they are provoking...

Well you had your peaceful coup within 5 months crazy Generals and Goldman Sachs have overthrown it God only knows what happens now, generation snowflake dont know what freedom is so how the hell can you expect them to fight for it.

not dead yet's picture

There was no coup. The Donald pulled a fast one on us. All we need do is look at the appointments he made for key positions relating to the military. foreign policy, and security and it's obvious that we didn't want to see what was in plain sight. We fooled ourselves into thinking these hardline appointments had turned over a new leaf and were willing to work for peace. Not. We know that Nobel Bomb Them to Pieces prize winner stopped all arms shipments to Saudi and Trump restarted them to kill even more women and children in Yemen. Obombers drone campaign in the ME was bad enough but press reports claim Trump has expanded the program. Iran is coming under increasing fire and sanctions form the US and who knows what's going to happen to N Korea. One of Trumps deals was to get the US out of the Paris climate farce, which would cause the whole rotton scheme to collapse, but now that's on hold supposedly due to Ivanka. As far as gutting State, NASA, and the EPA he did that to get the cash for the War Department. No more talk of pulling out of the UN or withholding funding. Yep, we all stood up and cheered The Donald and he bent us over and stuck it to us.

I don't buy that bullshit that the cruise missiles were programmed to do little damage as they were just "symbolic" according to the Trump apologists. More like they all got launched and either the Russians or faulty equipment running on Chinese made chips, many have claimed for years the chips had back doors built into them and the DOD knew but kept buying anyway, caused some of them them to crash elsewhere and others to miss their targets. Do the Russians have new tech, like embarrassing the USS Donald Cook, or were they using the Chinese backdoors? It was a total surprise to our overpaid and overstaffed admirals and generals when the Russians launched cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea, from small boats that the US thought was impossible to do, and all hit their targets. After the festivities had been going for awhile the Pentagram praised the Russia pilots for their skill and accuracy in their bombing runs while the press and obomber claimed otherwise.

If I was Putin I would do exactly as he is doing now by sticking to his plan. Syrians too. The missile attack was a huge embarrassment for the US and they will be going over their equipment before they try any more attacks. Time to move in more AA and use it. The US won't risk sending piloted planes against Russian or Syrian planes or targets as Americans aren't too happy when the body bags get filled. There will be more attacks as the rhetoric from the US is getting ever more ridiculous and threatening every day. Propaganda that only the insane would push (cue McInsane & Lindsay). Now that The Donald has shown his true colors it's time for Putin to release all the intel he has on Trump, Hillary, and the rest of the war criminals. At last sighting the Liberty Passion, the ship supposedly loaded with tanks and other war material from US deployments in Europe to be used in Syria, is now said to be docked in Jordan by those tracking the ship. I guess we'll find out pretty soon if the rumors regarding this ship are true. If they are what few supporters Trump has left will rightly desert him.

nailed it! greed and graft has comprimised our waring technologies. many fronts are being waged in this current war, and imo we will loose.

only question is how much of merica will be in ruin. blowback is coming. we sit and enjoy a peacetyme mentality when we are destroying countries and think all is good. it is not! and our adversaries are plotting an attack we are provoking. this be just plain and simple common sense.

arrogance it the achilles heal of merica...

TEOTWAIKI's picture

I spent a nice couple of days sucba diving and cafe sitting in the Jordan port of Aqaba; from Lawrence of Arabia fame.

If you remember, it was Lawrence's idea to attack from land because all the cannons were pointed out to sea.

Aqaba sits in a very geographically interesting location.

From the boat just a couple miles out from the small boat harbor, I could see Saudi Arabia, Israel and Egypt and of course Jordan.

The only issue is that it's 325 mile to Damascus from there. :)

The roads through Jordan are good but the price of gasoline is outrageous.

It's only natural for the Generals he has on his staff to point Trump to war. If you surround yourself with Generals, what do you expect? Peace?  A General has spent his whole working life planning for war. If there is no war for him, he has wasted all those decades preparing.

khnum's picture

Very good analysis meet the new boss same as the old boss under Obama masses of materiel were moved to the baltics and eastern Europe, now we have one carrier group steaming for North Korea and another practicing for war in straights be they Hormuz or Taiwan and there has been a build up in the middle east, the military has been run into the ground the last 16 years yet they are posturing for a war on God only knows how many fronts- it seems like a last desperate throw of the dice for a bankrupt nation.

Sparkey's picture

President Trump is neither bad nor good, he simply represents a faction that has it's own delusions, as I suppose we all have. Reality can tolerate some delusions sometimes and sometimes some delusions can't be accomodated. Can our present manifestation of delusions be tolerated by reality? We will have to wait and see!

Many people are disappointed because the President isn't doing what they thought they heard him say he would do, if they had been listening carefully he detailed what he really stood for, in it's self neither bad nor good just; can the present reality accept it?

"The English Puritans, the Jacobins, the Bolsheviks, were in each case simply power seekers using the hopes of the masses in order to win a privileged position for themselves. Power can sometimes be won or maintained without violence, but never without fraud, because it is necessary to make use of the masses, and the masses would not co-operate if they knew that they were simply serving the purposes of a minority. In each great revolutionary struggle the masses are led on by vague dreams of human brotherhood, and then, when the new ruling class is well established in power, they are thrust back into servitude. This is practically the whole of political history, as Burnham sees it."

Don't feel bad, nothing ever happens as anyone hopes it will.

flapdoodle's picture

Sadly, I've concluded that Trump is a crypto-Jew and his "base" was just a mechanism to power.

Once in power, the Goyim base is no longer necessary and he has now revealed his true self. Serves us Goyim right to fall for his lies, afterall, "buyer beware" is one of the main rules of business, n'est-ce pas?

The bit in Syria is about several things

- Putin warned the arrogant ass Netanyahu that he would resist further IAF strikes so Netanyahu is showing off that Israel has the American Golem firmly under control

- Israel wants to make its Golan heights theft permanent.

- Trump is taken into the fold by the Deep State, so no more resistance in Congress (as long as Trump keeps to the script)

Of course, this means that all the Deep State false flags, gun control, TPP, and the whole gamut of Deep State initiative are back on the table (as if they were ever really removed)

DEPENDS UPON WHO WINS THE WAR!

and then we resume with the winners setting up their terms and currency.

will it be backed by faith and millitary force? gold? oil?

will the brics set up a sound monetaary system?

china has 30+ trillion in debt! this debt would have to backed by gold at a ratio that reflects their reserves.

true market discovery could then happen.

but, china is a manipulator as are all humans.

no system can be trusted, as humans are incapable of trust when the monetary power is in the hands of owners of the system.

look to america and it's abuse. military is funded by this exact system in place now.

only system that can work is a true and honest marketplace of the underlying asset.

again, humans are not capable of such a system.

so the winner will establish a fiat system backed by violence and gold will remain a speculation asset against the next failure.

the attraction to gold should be speculative and expect wild swings caused by crazy government policies of moar war with all hell breaking out.

then the key is to be able to convert gold back to the next stable currency regime and become relatively wealthy in the aftermath, that is if you and i are alive...

Umm, Mac, too late, we are bankrupt. The USG borrows from other USG agencies, gives them IOU aka, LMAOF, Treasuries, WTF is there to treasure?

But I digress lowest estimates are 100 TRILLION in unfunded liabilities, highest estimates are 300 Trillion but it really doesn't matter, all PONZI schemes and FIAT currencies end!

That phrase also made me LOL....'practically broke'? Are you f**king kidding me? Last time I checked when the checkbook already reads -$20 TRILLION AND COUNTING.....I'm pretty sure that means you're friggin' HYPERBROKE.

We ARE bankrupt....have been since long before I started paying attention in the early 1980s. In fact, EVERY PENNY of tax revenue collected since AT LEAST 1982 has gone to one singular purpose....to service the INTEREST on the national debt.

EVERY dime Uncle Sugar has spent and continues to spend in turbo-metastasizing manner since at least 1982....has been either borrowed or digitally poofed into existence.

The sheer ludicrous insanity of it all is beyond mind-bending, to the point where comfortably-numb zombification sets in.

For now, that's far more powerful than any of that Russian or Chinese crap.

stacking12321's picture

infinite growth on a finite planet is a failed paradigm, it's a lie.

central planners are pulling out all the stops to try to "generate growth", but they can't do it, not with $trillions in QE, not with accounting fraud, not with military bullying of other nations to force them to use the petrodollar.

the exponential growth curve needs to keep growing to sustain itself, to pay the interest on the debt - but debt requires underlying assets, requires real collateral, not accounting fakery.

the problem is, real assets have already been hypothecated and re-hypothecated, future generations have already been sold into debt slavery, there's nothing left to mortgage off, the shitheads called government and central banks that perpetrated these schemes, have painted themselves into a corner. the only two options left are, 1) wait for confidence in the failed system to collapse and central planners to be held accountable, or 2) create a distraction, like war.

Giant Meteor's picture

Indeed, pushing on a string, pulling out all the stops, and going in reverse.

After awhile relying on the major industries of Twatter and Fartbook doesn't cut it. The many tweaks in the all seeing eye phones, and value added piercings, and tattoos, sooner or later loses it's mojo. Self driving cars? thats going swell ...

Sooner or later, paying for, going into debt for massively over priced plastic crap shacks loses it lustre,

When all else fails or has failed, they take us to war ... - Celente
