Trump Slams 'Fake Media' Bias: "We Have To Hold Them To The Truth!"

Tyler Durden's picture

President Trump has woken up in a angry mood it would appear and is lashing out once again at the media - the 'fake' media, not the 'real' media...

Of course, what this means is hard to tell, but it does sound a little anti-first-amendment-like - but then again, as Wellesley notes, if someone disagrees with your perspective then violence may be warranted.

He also offers an ironic reading suggestion....

Which Amazon describes as follows: "The most exhaustively researched and coherently argued Democrat Party apologia to date, "Reasons To Vote For Democrats: A Comprehensive Guide" is a political treatise sure to stand the test of time.

Lefty lawyers require that we state the book is mostly blank..."

Trump should shut the fuck up.

Fake News = Assad is the bad guy

So go to hell you Orange son of a bitch.

EuroPox's picture

Im think he means their fake news, not his own fake news.

Looney's picture

He’s broken almost every campaign promise. The next flip-flop, or “evolvement”, is the 2nd Amendment.

Fucking cunt!

If the guy didn't need two hours for Faux n Friends every morning, he'd be having intelligence briefings at 8:00am instead of 10:30am

Straight shooter without a clue ... this is what we wanted?

One of the few books he actually finished

Fake Trump's picture

One of them is Lady Chatterley's Lover.

Fake Trump's picture

The other one is Karma Sutra from where he learned his flip flopping.

How ironic that The Real Donald Trump ended up being fake.

"We have to hold them to the truth"

Ministry  of Truth, coming up!

"And somewhere or other, quite anonymous, there were the directing brains who co-ordinated the whole effort and laid down the lines of policy which made it necessary that this fragment of the past should be preserved, that one falsified, and the other rubbed out of existence."

Mr.BlingBling's picture

Break up the media conglomerates just like they broke up AT&T. But I'm willing to bet that President Kushner's friends won't approve that idea so I won't hold my breath waiting for it to happen.

roadhazard's picture

Trump is probably pissed he didn't think to write a book like that. He could call it, The Art of the Deal.

NoDebt's picture

I wonder if anybody here is so pissed off they actually wish they had voted for Hillary.

detached.amusement's picture

That would kinda infer that anyone having done so would have had *that* much of an attachment to trump being all 100% legit, which is kinda funny too.  But no, I dont really see that happening except rhetorically, lol...

HopefulCynical's picture

Yep. We knew Trump was "some chance" while Hillary was "no chance." It was a calculated risk, and only a fool thought Trump's win was a reason to quit stacking...

Ignatius's picture

Most of us cheered when Trump introduced a wide audience to the concept of MSM peddling "fake news."  The point has been made that Trump indulges in his own version of "fake news" (Syria strike, etc.) and in effect is 'poisoning the well' on the concept of "fake news" and conspiracy.

I'll judge (as with anyone) by what he does, not what he says.

After reading the comments here, I'm beginning to think some of you have the backbone, stamina, and patience of a Berkely snowflake screaming for their safe place.  He's been in office for about 85 days and put in an outstanding Supreme Court justice, signed executive order after executive order udoing the idiocy of the past 8 years one step at a time, Obamacare mandatory mandate history, vetting for "refugees" from terrorist hotbeds, and has not backed off his wall initiative. Oh, and he made some great pro-Christian comments on Good Friday unlike Obama who could do nothing but throw very cleverly worded insults our way at every opportunity.  Now you're talking about should have voted for Hillary?  Just go join your local ANTIFA march.  This is pathetic.

Dovda Wimar's picture

Agree. Also just read the influx of illegals across the US:Mexico border is at a 17 year low.

drstrangelove73's picture

I'm with you. When I first came here there were pro-Obama posts regularly.Slowly that changed and by 2014 there was a rising drumbeat to get rid of the Marxist traitor on this site.During the recent campaign, there was a growing support(minus the trolls and bots) for Trump, though still significant ,regular anti-Trump posting. Now,despite Trump's having done, primarily by executive orders, but also by law enforcement, quite a bit of what he promised in the campaign, some here are screaming like little girls, that Trump is a sellout. You cannot listen to CNN/NBC/CBS/NYT/WaPo because they don't know what is actually going on in the Trump White House, not that that has anything to do with their coverage, which is simply propaganda as always and designed to push their Marxist/globalist ideology. My advice-give it a rest.If you seriously care about the future of our country, take a deep breath, avoid the above media outlets and watch to see what actually happens.

Insurrector's picture

Quite a bit of what he promised?

Such as:

  • Bring back manufacturing jobs
  • Bring coal mining back
  • Major national infrastructure projects and jobs
  • Better healthcare insurance plans

To be honest, he promised to get shit done that requires legislative action, which all candidates do.  And quite frankly market forces make much of his promises impossible

j0nx's picture

I agree. The dude gets 6 months leeway from me or until he starts spouting the 'we need moar gun control' line whichever comes first. After that you can piss and moan about what he's doing. Until then chill out. Still 1000000x better than the hildabeast.

BetterRalph's picture

Comey heads the FBI. right.

bonus points for the CURRENT location of Hillary's treason email server hardware.

Also I can **** and moan right now, just as can the POTUS too may turn on a dime. After all that's A reason you voted Trump his TURNING on a dime when things are WRONG.

HardAssets's picture

The choice was between Trump and not voting at all.

Many thought Trump would likely be more 'same ole, same ole'. But, the Witch's anti Russia talk had us concerned about WW3. Unlike some here, we don't have a crystal ball to foresee the future. Trumps massive flip flops within 4 months even surprised the most cynical among us. Thought it would at least take a full year, if he did that.

HopefulCynical's picture

And the thing is, we can't be sure if he's actually flip-flopping, or if he's just feinting in order to catch the neocons/neolibs out of position. This could all be a giant end around, flea flicker, etc. I'm adopting a wait and see attitude.

Actually it's the situation with Best Korea I'm watching most closely. They're the only nuclear capable non-Rothschild nation in the world. Regime change there brings us a giant step closer to the banksters' end game of Global Feudal Plantation Earth.

mccvilb's picture

Everyone's accountable. We are out of options and out of time. We need consistency in our leaders, but not that kind of consistency.

BetterRalph's picture

Actually some of the stuff he promised POTUS don't have the power to Give. Fake news never calls such things out.

The Monetary system--- that's all CONGRESS. So that tax thing is nuts from the get go. IT's CONGRESS that needs to abolish the IRS and eliminate the income tax NOT TRUMP. It's ZERO surprise to me, Trump couldn't do it. We are still flooded with corrupt congress.

Insurrector's picture

Trumplings think the president is king.  So they forget about the balance of powers, just like the Quack.

Hulk's picture

Nope. The Donald is only step one in claiming our government back. This aint going to be easy...

Insurrector's picture

If he is a straight shooter, then he must be forgetting to aim first.

Kettle, meet pot belly.

No shortage of liars. Nor fake news. Thump should be happy that the media is echoing the same lies he is telling about Syria. Fuck them all.

J S Bach's picture

Trump's right about the fake media, of course.  But, hearing it from a guy who breaks his word is a bit hard to stomach.

therover's picture

Exactly my issue. I cannot believe a word he says any more. He has lied and flip flopped more than I thought he would. I know he's a con man but WTF ?!

TheLastTrump's picture

How the FUCK do you KNOW what Trump has done if you cannot find an accurate assessment because of their fucking SPIN?

The answer is, you're a tool that exists solely to be Trump negative and you LOVE THE FAKE NEWS MEDIA and in fact are part of it because you parrot it....

Your entire fucking existence is predicated upon whining & complaining on the internet about the bad man that touched you.

Insurrector's picture

Sounds like an act of presidential cannibalism.

If the Quack eats Cheetos, is that an act of autocannibalism?

dark fiber's picture

This is the beauty of it.  They are all so full of shit that there isn's much of an argument in favor of either side anymore.  It is a pure assclown  shitshow through and through.

mccvilb's picture

We have to hold them to the truth? The real question is, hold who? Nobody seems to know the answer to that. TPTB, the Deep State, the DNC. Lyndsey Graham, the CFR, Geo Stephanopolus, The MSM, The WSJ, John McCain, etc. To whom are they all reporting to? From whom are they taking their orders? Some yahoo from West Virginia? Some Netanyahu with designs on Northern Africa and the Mediterranean basin? Or some trillionaire families who always manage to stay off the lists of the richest people in the world? How can a community organizer lacking a single humanitarian thought in his brain spend ten trillion dollars of our money on making war and killing millions of innocents in the name of humanitarianism not have to account for a dime of it and get us involved in overthrowing seven or eight countries and nary a peep from the news media or the people who dare to call themselves journalists? We have to hold who to the truth, Donald? No, the Donald has to hold them to the truth. It's why people voted for him.

EuroPox's picture

For sure - but it is not just that he breaks his word, the bit that sticks in my throat is that he must know that we know he is lying about the chemical attack... but he does it anyway.  Takes us all for fools.
