Is There A Coup Attempt Underway In America?

Tyler Durden's picture

Authored by Mike Krieger via Liberty Blitzkrieg blog,

Personally, I’m horrified by the fact that Goldman Sachs goons are in total control of the Trump administration’s economic policy. I’m also horrified that our new President’s first overseas trip will be to the terrorist state of Saudi Arabia, a autocratic, brutal monarchy with undeniable ties to 9/11. I’m likewise disgusted by Attorney General Jefferson Sessions’ oppressive and uncivilized relaunch of the misguided and disastrous “war on drugs.” Finally, I’m very troubled by the fact Mike Flynn attempted to disrupt a military operation using Syrian Kurds to rout ISIS in Raqqa because Turkey didn’t like it, given he was working as a paid agent of Turkey months earlier and never disclosed it.

There are a plethora of things to be deeply concerned about when it comes to Trump, yet the coup attempt against him being launched by elements of the deep state, corporate media and Hillary dead-ender Democrats is more concerning still. It’s obvious what’s happening right now is not a sincere attempt to hold a President accountable, or fight him on policy or personnel choices. Rather, this all seems to be a very deliberate and premeditated attempt to remove him from office.

What’s so troubling about what I just wrote is not so much that I think it, but that it’s becoming accepted truth by a growing number of mainstream Americans. For example, can you believe CNBC actually published a post with the following title?

Here are a few excerpts from the piece:

There is, indeed, a bombshell of a story coming out of the news that President Donald Trump revealed sensitive information during his White House meeting with Russian officials last week. But it’s not that President Trump committed any crime. The really alarming news is that the duly-elected President of the United States appears to be the target of a political coup.

First, let’s be clear: President Trump has been sloppy, arrogant, and just plain misguided plenty of times during his short tenure in office — including the way he handled the firing of FBI Director James Comey and the hiring and firing of National Security Adviser Michael Flynn. And if he did unnecessarily compromise the source of the sensitive information he shared with the Russians, shame on him.

But a president cannot be removed from office for arrogance and sloppiness…

Here’s the kicker: None of this is actually working where it counts. Again, we have not one piece of evidence of any impeachable act. And it’s not even truly working in the polls. President Trump’s approval ratings may be lower than any modern president this early in his tenure, but they’re still higher than they were throughout the election. If anything, these constant attacks coming from this obviously angry and potentially illegal place are only strengthening the resolve of Trump’s base of supporters. They elected a guy they believed was truly the enemy of the established political class. And right on cue, the established political class is stopping at nothing to prove them right.

For all the things President Trump has said that have dragged down the level of our American political discourse, this sustained takedown effort is worse. And it’s not clear how this is going to end. Unlike President Trump, the leakers remain anonymous and thus unaccountable. They can presumably go on forever.

And President Trump doesn’t seem like he’s going to stop fighting back or irritating and threatening his political opponents.

But don’t fool yourself into thinking this is OK or even tolerable. The bottom line is that we have some very powerful people in Washington who really don’t like how democracy played out this time around and what they do to attack it next isn’t going to be any better than what they’re doing now.

Luckily the American people remain wisely circumspect about all of this. President Trump’s polls aside, the voters are still giving him a decent shot to govern. And unaccountable people in Washington shouldn’t be trying to make that decision for us.

Once again, I want to remind you the above was published at CNBC. Sure it’s a vapid Wall Street oligarch-worshipping rag, but it’s still pretty mainstream.

Moreover, it’s not just CNBC writers and obscure bloggers such as myself who are coming to these sorts of conclusions.

For example, listen closely to what Dennis Kucinich had to say on the topic in a recent interview.

I agree with Dennis completely, and another troubling aspect of all this is that the hysteria incessantly being driven by the corporate press in its attempt to destroy Trump is distracting attention away from genuine scandals. For example, yesterday’s McClatchy story on Mike Flynn’s undisclosed work as a agent of Turkey, and how that may have influenced his foreign policy recommendations appears to be a very real and extremely concerning scandal. Yet it gets buried in the hyperbole and hysteria, and millions of people end up tuning everything out.

The road we’re headed down is unhealthy, counterproductive and extremely dangerous. As is typically the case, you can thank the corporate press.

When you think about the mental midgets we have in congress at the moment, its not difficult to see how they are so easily manipulated by the deep state. I suspect that our constitution and form of government could be completely changed by an executive order without congress uttering a whimper.

Putin is playing chess while the US is playing checkers. The US by tossing the government in Kiev thought they could kick the Russians out of their base in Crimea so Putin took back a very willing Crimea. When Turkey shot down the Russian jet rather than go full US and bomb everything in sight Putin sanctioned Turkey and forbade his citizens from visiting or doing business with Turkey, which was huge, and hurt Turkey a lot. Eventually Turkey and Putin ended up buddies which would not have happened if Putin would have gone US on them. The US put sanctions on Russia so Putin went around the world cutting deals. He was given a heros welcome especially in South America. The sanctions hurt Europe more than Russia and after a short recession the Russian economy is back on track. NATO may have missiles and troops on the Russian border but you can bet they will be snuffed before they can get a shot off. The troops are more for show, unless they want to commit suicide, as their numbers are miniscule compared to those on the Russian side. Russia is quite capable and the US knows that but they may or may not have some special stuff in hiding and are willing to take a few hits rather than show their full strength.

putin's plenty good but he keeps getting a boost from the evil and incompetence of his adversary.

this coup attempt may be a good thing for trump and the best thing for the citizenry.  pitting the intelligence services against the president was largely misunderstood with jfk and nixon, but this is happening right out there in daylight and on the internet news sites and social media.  it's going to be lots harder than before and, given the magnitude and variety (not to say some incompetence) of the crimes committed, particularly since 9-11 and during the election, there is the potential for a real reversal of fortune for the deep state.

the people that backed trump, most of them imo, are to some degree natural allies of the military and the paramilitary cia, etc.  this is going to cut the heart out of their support, if not the lawyers, guns and money.

most agree, for sure. if not isreal then who? germans tried, took it to far and crazy and failed. almost every nation that tried has altimately failed, due to their own stupidity and arrogance. humans are wired to conqueer. but the jews have something superior to other humans and they are winning. the rules are the same to all humans. so your ethics get in the way. that is your shortcoming. because if you want to win use everything at your disposal. i have respect for winners. just like the winner of a sporting event. like it not that this is the  goddam fuking facts in your fuking face. quite blaming isreal for your shortcoming in life. still blaming mommy and daddy for all wrong in your life. grow the fuk up looser..

Trump's People, the Haves and the Have Mores.

The Coup is given Democrats everything they ask for, in return for lower Corporate taxes (higher yields), lower personal taxes (higher gains), and no estate tax (permanent perpetual American Aristocracy).

The Coup is bridging a udget shortfall with-$2.6 T in annualized additional debt, while crushing future tax revenues, and COLAing up Mil.Gov.Edu, so that whe Fed interest rates ratchet up, Congress will have to make the 'painful decision' to slash SS and MC for the Boomers, putting an irreparable burden on XGens.

The Coup is the Final Coup, which began with the Gingrich Contract on Americans, and the coups will continue to constrictbthe general population, until the New Aristocracy has reduced Americans to paupers.

That's The Coup.

Personally, we, & the entire World / Human Race for that matter is at or very fast approaching a pinnacle or explosive situation of some sort.

The more I see, the less I think that things will correct themselves. At this point I think that some form of upheaval is more likely than not. My goal through this is to keep the family safe and see where things come down.

Because what I think we are seeing is a Tyrannical Lawless Criminal corrupt Corp. UNITED STATES / state in it's death throws. The overwhelming debt, the debased currency, the political corruption, the loss of a free press, and the stupidification of the general populace is just too much for the system to bear.

Eventually reality needs to prevail... doesn't it?

Outside of a Sampson Option moment, mankind will continue.

Wherther God or Mankind for those Atheists out there are willing to defeat the out right Pure Evil Global Criminal Oligarch Cabal Bankster Intelligence Crime Syndicate still begs to question.

My response: FEAR vs FAITH. It is SPIRITUAL WARFARE.

Interesting when I run a "WORDLE" analysis on all these articles and comments, the result of the analysis is that there is absolutely no mention of GOD's role in the process, As a result, I think we are all going to be very surprised at how the situation with the president unfolds.

I, like President TRUMP, choose FAITH over FEAR. Do the right thing and it will all work out. I want to believe that America is NOT that far gone yet.

that's just it, s/he is.  but the media that existed before the internet didn't. and its legacy doesn't either.  does it?

but here, lovely here, it's everyone for her/himself, a rough meritocracy and, at least as important, basically a free one, financially and logistically.  forums as unsupervised, diverse, editable and attended are rare, aren't they?  but common enough, with social media, to change that legacy, eventually, beyond recognition.

this election was a watershed; the bulk of the electorate realized how partisan and essentially clueless and crooked that legacy is now.  that can't help their current iteration.

Trump likes his roaches to have previously worked for Goldman.

Murderface's picture

Have any of you worked for Goldman?  How about ever been there, sat in a meeting?

You sound like idiots.

In reality, Goldman is one of the four firms that MADE money for the taxpayer on their US Government TARP investment.  Goldman returned the US Taxpayer 1.4 bn on their investment, and closed the investment out in 1 year (Yes, unbeknowst to most of you, the TARP was not a "gift" of cash, but more structured financing)

It’s becoming obvious that our worst economic and political problems revolve around the global hegemony of corporate cartels headquartered in the US, where their military force resides. The only effective way, now, to regain our sovereignty as citizens of a constitutional republic is to severely curtail the activities of such corporations. To remain a free nation, we have to stop granting corporate charters to every con artist that comes along and start demanding a well-defined social value in return. The "Divine Right Of Kings” should not apply to fictitious entities just because they are “Too Big To Fail”. We can't take the incorporation of private transnational banks for granted anymore. The government must be held responsible to human voters, not fictitious entities.

An omission in the US Constitution created the swamp of corporate corruption we now see surrounding our capital. It is a swamp that can't be drained at this point because the Constitution doesn’t provide a legal drain. This 28th amendment is intended to provide that drain so Congress can legally pull its plug. As a matter of political practicality we must rely on the Article 5 Constitutional Convention for which the electorate will need prior consensus to avoid preemptive state or corporate interference. This is what it will take, in plain language, to save the world; and nobody gets hurt:

28th Amendment

Corporations are not persons in any sense of the word and shall be granted only those rights and privileges that Congress deems necessary for the well-being of the People. Congress shall provide legislation defining the terms and conditions of corporate charters according to their purpose; which shall include, but are not limited to:

1, prohibitions against any corporation;

a, owning another corporation,

b, becoming economically indispensable or monopolistic, or

c, otherwise distorting the general economy;

2, prohibitions against any form of interference in the affairs of;

a, government,

b, education, or

c, news media, and

3, provisions for;

a, the auditing of standardized, current, and transparent account books, and

b, the establishment of a state and municipal-owned banking system

c, civil and criminal penalties to be suffered by corporate executives for violation of the terms of a corporate charter.

The Founders had to fight a bloody Revolutionary War to win our right to incorporate as a nation – the USA. But then, for whatever reason, our Founders granted the greediest businessmen among them unrestricted corporate charters with enough potential capital & power to compete with the individual States, smaller sovereign nations, and eventually to buy out the Federal government itself. Now that these fictitious entities own the USA and command its military infrastructure by virtue of the Federal Reserve Corporation and run it by virtue of regulatory capture, MSM propaganda, and Congressional lobbying, they’ve set their sights on the creation of an all-inclusive global financial empire. The US Constitution is the de facto “Charter” of that Empire. Only we, the people, can amend it, and in doing so, restore the Republic.

SmackDaddy's picture

"The Founders had to fight a bloody Revolutionary War"

Muh British tyranny. You still believe that bullshit? The "Revolutionary War" was neither a revolution or a war.

There were less than 7000 combat deaths on the American side over eight years. Shit man, there were more than that in a few hours at places like Gettysburg.

The "American Revolution" was a shoving match between two brothers and neither side was willing to take major losses. It can't be compared with other major conflicts that were absolutely devastating to the civilian population.

We lost when King Charles was murdered and Cromwell brought the Jews back to England.

YourAverageJoe's picture

There really weren't that many people in the colonies back then.

ImpliedVol's picture

7,000 combat deaths at that time was a lot. The U.S. population was around only 4 million in 1790. It would be the equivalent of several hundred thousand deaths today. The number would be higher than what we lost in both world wars combined.
