Iran Blames Saudi Arabia For Terrorist Attack, Supporting ISIS; Vows "Revenge"

Tyler Durden's picture

Iran's infamous Revolutionary Guards accused Saudi Arabia of being behind the twin terrorist attacks in Tehran, which killed 12 and left at least 39 injured, and have vowed "revenge."

Earlier in the day, a group of four people in women's clothes opened fire in the building of the Iranian Parliament, with a subsequent explosion. Another attack involving an explosion took place near the Imam Khomeini shrine. One of the perpetrators of the attack was detained and the rest were executed.

"This terrorist attack happened only a week after the meeting between the U.S. president (Donald Trump) and the (Saudi) backward leaders who support terrorists. The fact that Islamic State has claimed responsibility proves that they were involved in the brutal attack," said the statement, published by Iranian media.

What is notable is that ISIS already claimed responsibility for the attack, so Iran is explicitly accusing Saudi Arabia of supporting the Islamic State.

yeah,m and I bet you gonna love it when the oil just to 2000 dollars per barrelm, everythign goes sky high expensive and you end up paying 5 dollrs a gallon for gas! Bet you goona be orgasmic!

Luc X. Ifer's picture

I'm smart enough to not need gas to haul my ass, so from my perspective the ones who need it - kill thyself if you are so stupid that you can't figure out a better more sustainable solution, you know just the law of nature, the fittest adapts and thrives the ones who can't perish and go to the natural history bin of the extinct. Laugh now, if thy can laugh.

fleur de lis's picture

In 100 years we will no longer be on oil energy.

We are switching to gas more every day in every way.

Car designs have been puposely hindered to require oil, so they are a non-stop revenue flow.

Eventually alternative energy will take the place of gasoline.

Same for planes, trains, etc.

So plans are being made to control gas sources the same way plans were made before WW1 to control oil resources.

I am not sure about Joo World Order.  Thinking more Saudi survival.  They sack Qatar and viola, they have huge reserves of Nat Gas.  Build a pipeline to Greece or Italy under the Med and their problems are solved.  Russia and Iran will be pissed though.

fleur de lis's picture

The Syrian attacks and wars were actually about a business contract between Iran and Syria way back in '08 or '10 regarding a gas pipeline .

It would originate in Iran, travel overland Syria, and finish right on the Mediterranean market.

It would have greatly benefited both nations and their citizens, as well as surrounding areas.

But it put them in direct competiion with Qatar's gaslines.

The DC Swamp et al. must have bet and lost a lot of money on Qatar for them to start a war when the Syrians would not cancel the Iranians.

Now they are all stuck.

When Assad would not obey the NWO/DC Swamp/The City etc., they started a war that they figured would be done by now, with Syria demolished as a lesson to the rest of them,  and a new puppet in Damascus.

Their vile war plans went amiss when the Ruskies showed up, then Iran, then Hezbollah, and the Kurds.

Even the Chechens got in on it.

The DC Swamp struck back.

Johnny boy McCain showed up in Syria and posed with his ISIS friends, and donated tons of weapons to increase the killing power.

Thank you American taxpayers!!

They staged disgusting false flags, got their MSM pimps and sluts to work overtime promoting lies, got their UNster friends to condemn Syria, and got their ISIS friends military associates to attack hospitals and blame it on Assad.

Now they are desperate.

They are turning on Qatar which might be getting cold feed and wants out of the deal.

Like as if joining and leaving an organized crime gang is optional.

If Qatar wants to survive it will obey or suffer the same fate as Syria.

The stupid Qataris thought they really counted for something and are finding out the hard way that they are nobodies.

The West made monkeys out of the lot of them and got their equally stupid Arab bretheren to deliver the message.

Other countries in the region should take note and plan accordingly.

@ fleur,

The "Policy" of arming, funding & training Alqueda / Al CIA duh / ISIS /?I CIA SIS goes back to the days of the Mujahideen.

Diplomacy is an Art that has been thrown into the dustbin of History. There is no profit motive in Diplomacy.

There are profits in Treasonous Pure Evil War Crimes. That pipeline is the Profit Motive as well as continued Criminal US Hedgemony of Vassal States & survival of the Ponzi Criminal US Petroleum Dollar.

fleur de lis's picture

Yes, our Middle East policies only amount to killing, looting, and  pillaging on a grand scale.

Most of the Islamic countries in the region are sitting ducks but don't know it.

The petrodollar was one of the most depraved ideas ever to seep out of the DC Swamp.

It destroys everything it touches.

What will back up the dollar when oil is no longer used, and that will be within 100 years at the most.

So our warmongers are not really looking for oil.

They are prepping the land for takeover after ridding the surface of target populations.

They have done it before and will do it again.

This very real "Game of Thrones" makes the one on HBO seem petty by comparison. The future of the world hangs in the balance.

fleur de lis's picture

Good catch.

At the turn of the century this sort of thing was actually called "The Great Game."

Because to warmongers it is a game because they move events and armies like pieces on a game board.

None of their spawn ever get injured or killed, nor don't even lose money.

So they really don't give a damn how many others get killed nor how many cities are leveled.

They don't even have to pay the bills.

That's what survivors are for.

Looks like another proxy war. Iran/Russia vs Saudi Arabia/US.

HRClinton's picture

"Looks like another proxy war. Iran/Russia vs Saudi Arabia/US."

Looks like Israel and Jordan remain unaffected.  As do India and China.

Unless and until the price of crude goes up, way up.  Then China will have bigger issues than having its proxies in the US smack down GLD.

alangreedspank's picture

Shia vs Sunni war always was on with varying degrees of intensity, regardless what the US does.

curbjob's picture

True. The Cubans were always communist, the Mujahideen always Islamic fundamentalists, and the Iranians were always anti US and not because of the "made in USA" labels attached to the Shah and Stinger missiles being lobbed from Iraq.

It sounds like you have little to no grasp of history. The contemporary atheist, aka New Atheist, has got to be the most ignorant person on the planet, but he is too proud of his pseudoscience to even know he is embarassing himself. But that's OK, go ahead and keep doing it, it's going to be a sad yet humorous note in history.
