JPMorgan Pulls Ads From NBC News After Megyn Kelly's "Repulsive" Alex Jones Interview

Tyler Durden's picture

While Megyn Kelly's interview with Russian President (and all around global bad guy if one were to believe the daily barrage of leftist headlines)  Vladimir Putin did not raise the ire of advertisers, it appears her interview with right-wing provocateur Alex Jones has lurched from social media firestorm to real-world dollars and cents for NBC News.

The sit-down has been promoted as a discussion about “controversies and conspiracies.”

In a video promoting the interview, Jones talks about the 9/11 attacks as an “inside job.” In the clip, Kelly also brings up Sandy Hook, saying: “When you say parents faked their children’s deaths, people get very angry.” Jones replies: “But they don’t get angry about half-a-million dead Iraqis from the sanctions.”

And now, as The Wall Street Journal reports, J.P. Morgan has asked for its local TV ads and digital ads to be removed from Kelly’s show and from all NBC news programming until after the show airs, according to a person familiar with the matter.

The company doesn’t want any of its ads to appear adjacent to any promotions for the interview, the person added.

This comes hours after Kristin Lemkau, J.P. Morgan’s chief marketing officer, questioned why Ms. Kelly would conduct the interview.

As an advertiser, I’m repulsed that @megynkelly would give a second of airtime to someone who says Sandy Hook and Aurora are hoaxes."

On his radio program Monday,  Jones said that he thinks Sandy Hook happened, or at least that children died, though there are anomalies about the event. However, he said that was edited from the NBC promotion. “I’m tired of being misrepresented,” Jones said and added that he demanded Kelly’s “hit piece” not air on Father’s Day.

WSJ reports that other NBC advertisers have stayed mum on the planned episode, at least publicly.

Give Me Some Truth's picture

They must buy a lot of advertising. I imagine They don't care about attracting new customers or building their brand. The ad buys are simply "leverage" over the networks/news organizations.

There's a quid pro quo: You report and cover events like we like and we'll keep sending you ad revenue. If truth be told, the ad dollars JPM spends with the likes of CNBC probably came directly or indirectly from the government/Fed.

JP Morgan's spokesperson saying she is "repulsed" by anything is kind of repulsive to me.JP Morgan is much more dangerous to society and scary than this interview subject.

Good for her, she's obviously doing something right!

No, they're both stooges. 2 stooges talking about 2 hoaxes. I think that's what you meant to say. They both know whom they cannot criticize.

Thanks . Your expression is much better .

Ridiculous, if she wants to interview Charles Manson, Donald Trump or Alex Jones it is all the same. Bring it on.

JPMorgan Pulls Ads From NBC News After Megyn Kelly's "Repulsive" Alex Jones Interview

My response: Megyn Kelly like so many of these MSM hosts are a reflection of America's spiritually sick nature. This lady only has a job because her viewers agree with her sometimes perverted views. Below is section of text I recently shared with others and am including it below because it defines the challenges of the west.

====

In a society where all lies, all deceptions, all corruptions are accepted, that society will lose control of everything. Chaos will begin to take over, and the only way that chaos will be slowed down will be when dictatorial control, or maybe even a police state is formed, where thought and behavior is fixed, and anybody out of bounds is punished. Eventually, the chaos has to be controlled. We’re not headed toward socialism; we could very well be headed toward a dictatorship in our world. Is this hard to grasp?

Remember the America that was, some of you? This is not a Christian nation; there’s no such thing. It never has been a Christian nation. Even the founding fathers of America were not true Christians but they did understand that Christianity was a fixed necessity because it established divine law; and when people knew that this was law from God, it controlled their behavior. Biblical ethics, biblical patterns of morality were honored, respected, and expected. Marriage, family, virtue, work, relationships, success were all connected to noble ideals that are found in Scripture. That’s long gone and unlikely to ever appear in the lifetime of anybody reading this because evil men just get worse and worse.

JC Ryle, an English theologian in the late 1800s, had some serious convictions about government and about the worship of God and about the law of God, and he said, “If England separates God from the state, England will be destroyed morally, religiously, ethically, and in every other way.” It is today an absolute wasteland, spiritually speaking. You drive a massive wedge between the state and the church, you’re going to end up with modern Europe and the United States. Is that progress? Is there any sense in which the government welcoming millions of Muslims into their historically Christian traditional countries is not going to result in chaos? Because now you have the collision of a traditional Christian morality, a very different Muslim morality, and a fast-developing immorality. Everything is out of control. Removing the acknowledgment of the true God, the authority of the Bible, the voice of the true church, the moral education of youth, and the elevation of the Bible and the gospel – removing that is the path to destruction, and it’s a downhill run.

Trogdor's picture

They have definitely gone after the CHRISTIAN God and morals/ethics, but certainly not the Muslim or Zionist God (Allah and Lucifer).  Albert Pike's 1871 letter to Mazzini pretty much lays it out.  The Muslims are nothing more than useful idiots at this time.  The ultimate goal is the destruction of all mainstream religions and the eventual universal adoption of Luciferianism.  Order out of Chaos.

My response to your response.

Monotheism was never our religion, in spite of their protestations that they created civilization.

Pagans created Civilization. Was Plato a christian?

Monotheism pretends that without their firm grasp of the tiller we would devolve into headless chickens and mere anarchy would be loosed upon the world.

Was Europe not monotheistic before and during the first world war? Was that war, and every subsequent war, not the definition of butchery and the personification of evil? And these wars are not the only manifestation of monotheism's moral failings.

Martin Luther misdiagnosed the problems of the Church. No, Martin, it was not the Catholic Church of Rome, but the very perverted notion that a Male can bring forth life. That a Male can be loving and nurturing. These are not Manly virtues, but feminine ones.

Monotheism itself, Martin, was and is, the Great evil.

Enceladus's picture

So if monotheism is the great evil. Moloch and Mithras must be the root of all good. Upside down much?

Is-Be's picture

Moloch and Mithras

We should allow Moloch and Mithras to speak for themselves. (Whoever they were).

The lies come thick and fast from the mouths of monotheists about the barbarity of Pagans and the virtues of monotheism.

Paganism has served us well for at least 40 000 years. Observe the Hindu for a demonstration of social cohesion.

And then compare Hinduism to the viciousness of the Monotheistic Moguls.

Western civilization brought us some pretty respectable things. Western civilization is almost totally Christian culture. Just two data points, but I think there are relationships there.

Nay woman. What about the evidence?

It has not been established that there were parents.

"Yes.But what about the feelz?"

Both false flags.  The only people who don't know that are people who have not bothered to read the evidence. Sandy Hook school was abandoned, used for a FEMA drill.  Attack was staged.  No death certificates issued. Actors appeared as parents of dead kids.  Community given a new school free.  Check this out it's all documented.  Aurora Colorado...shooter was a nutcase and not tried as a terrorist.  To call the movie theater shootings as a terrorist attack is to ignore the HUGE evidence/medical exams that this was not a terrorist but a drugged nut case.

Essentially the dems are running a conspiracy theory with the whole russia narrative.  no facts just what they think is true.  a delusion or a conspiracy that Russia somehow rigged the election...with no proof.

So Alex Jones is actually right up their alley...they are just having a bad reaction cause it hits to close to home in how they think
