Putin: Trump On TV Is "Very Different From The Real Trump"

Tyler Durden's picture

Following President Trump's earlier comments that his "meeting with Putin was trememndous," the Russian President set an optimistic tone for future US relations, remarking that the Donald Trump seen on television is different from the one in real life, adding that "as for personal relations, I think that they are established."

In his 25 minute press conference, Putin carefully touched on all the talking-point 'tape-bomb gotchas' expressing hope for Syria, explaining his views on the Russia-meddling accusations, and cycbersecurity.

The Hill reports that Putin reiterated that there is no reason to believe that Russia meddled in the US electoral process in 2016, and made it clear that he feels the president believes him...

“He [Trump] asked many questions on that subject. I answered those questions as best I could. I think he took it into consideration and agreed with me, but you should really ask him how he feels about it."

After his meeting with the US leader in Hamburg, he felt like relations between the two countries could at least partially be restored.

“As for personal relations, I think that they are established,” Putin said of his meeting with Trump.

“I think that if we continue building our relations like during our conversation yesterday, there are grounds to believe that we’ll be able to – at least partially – restore the level of cooperation that we need,” Putin said.

Regarding cybersecurity, RT reports the Russian leader said that he and Trump “agreed that there should never be a situation of uncertainty, especially in the future, in this sphere.”

The US president and I agreed that we’ll create a working group and work together on how to jointly monitor security in cyberspace, how to ensure unconditional compliance with international legal norms, and how to prevent interference in internal affairs of foreign countries,” Putin said.

“If we manage to organize this work – and I have no reasons to doubt that – then there will be no more speculation on this topic [of Russia meddling],” he added.

The situation in Syria was also addressed during the press conference, with Putin saying the new US administration had a “more pragmatic” stance on the issue.

“I think the [US] position became more pragmatic. It doesn’t seem to have changed drastically [compared to the Obama administration], but there’s an understanding that we can achieve a lot by joining forces,” he said.

This approach by Washington made possible the agreement on the southern de-escalation zone in Syria, which was “one of the breakthroughs” during Friday’s talks with Trump, the Russian president added. And cue CNN running 24 hour-a-day analysis of every word uttered by him to 'prove' he colluded to pre-de-throne Hillary and bring down American democracy.

Philistine = Palestine

Philistines were conquered and wiped out. Here's what Wikipedia says:

The Philistines lost their independence to Tiglath-Pileser III of Assyria by 732 BC, and revolts in following years were all crushed. Later, Nebuchadrezzar II of Babylon eventually conquered all of Syria and the Kingdom of Judah, and the former Philistine cities became part of the Neo-Babylonian Empire. All traces of the Philistines as a people or ethnic group disappear. Subsequently the cities were under the control of Persians, Jews (Hasmonean Kingdom), Greeks (Seleucid Empire), Romans, and subsequent empires.

All residents of Palestine i.e. Jews, British, Hindu, French, etc. are Palestinians up into mid-20th Century.

Trump is so different? Really? He is just more of the same.

So, why is the global rise in temperatures so worrisome?

For one thing, as temperatures rise good farmland will become desert (e.g., dust-bowl conditions will probably return to the American Midwest).

Another major problem is sea-level rise.

Have a look at http://pubs.usgs.gov/fs/fs2-00/

The U.S. Geological Survey people claim that;

The Greenland ice sheet melting will raise sea-level 6.55 meters (21.5 feet),
the West Antarctica ice sheet melting will raise sea-level 8.06 meters (26.4 feet),
the East Antarctica ice sheet melting will raise sea-level 64.8 meters (212.6 feet),
and all other ice melting will raise sea-level 0.91 meters (3 feet).

For a grand total of about 80.3 meters (263.5 feet).

So, what does an 80 meter (263 feet) rise in sea-level mean. Have a look at the following map of the world after an 80 meter rise. It means that over one billion people will have to be resettled to higher ground and that much of the most productive agricultural land will be under water. Fortunately, at current rates, the Greenland ice sheet will take over a thousand years to melt and the Antarctica ice sheet, much longer. However, the greater the temperature rise the faster the ice sheets will melt, bringing the problem much closer. Remember, the huge ice sheet that recently covered much of North America, almost completely melted in only 15,000 years (today, only the Greenland ice sheet, and some other small patches of it, remain). Since then (15,000 years ago), sea-levels have risen about 125 meters (410 feet), only 80 meters to go.

The ice sheets have been continuously melting for thousands of years. What is left of them today, is still melting, and will continue to melt. Human caused global warning will cause this remnant to melt significantly faster. This is a big, big, problem.

For HUGE detailed maps of the "World after the Melt" go to:

Global temperatures are increasing. And by quite a lot each year.

2016 is the hottest year on record for global land temperatures.

This is 0.0963 degrees centigrade hotter than the previous record year which was 2015.

0.0963 is a large increase in just one year.

2015 was the hottest year (at that time) for global land temperatures.

This was 0.2415 degrees hotter than the previous record year which was 2014.

0.2415 is an absolutely huge increase in just one year.

2014 was the hottest year (at that time) for global land temperatures.

This was 0.0139 degrees hotter than the previous record year which was 2010.

0.0963  or 0.0139 degrees?

And thats considered large?

I remember being taught in just plain old public edcation science and math classes that you only get to use the number of signifigant figures in your results equal to or less than the number of signifigant figures or your data inputs to calculate the result.

Example 3.5 divided by two is factually 1.75

However if you only have 3.5 and not 3.50 you do not get to use two signifigant figures in the result so  in proper science you must round to 1.8.

Your results CANNOT be more precise than your inputs.

Thats called the "Rules of Signifigant Figures"

http://www.chemteam.info/SigFigs/SigFigRules.html

So;  Internet Genius, who the FUCK was calculating average temps around the world 10 years or 200 years or 2,000 years ago to the  1/10,000 (one-ten-thosandth) of a degree CELCIUS???

SHIT FUCK HEAD Celcius was not even INVENTED until 1742

https://www.thoughtco.com/history-of-the-thermometer-p3-1991492

so No one know temps in history with any more accuracy thant the instruments of the times.

You cannot even tell me TODAY most of the weather stations are recording temperature to the 1/10,000 of a dgeree.

So do NOT effing tell me 2015 ws some kind of effing RECORD for 0.0139 of a degree.

SINCE WE ARE NOT MEASURING ALL AROUND THE WORLD WITH AN ACCURACY OF 1/10,000 OF DEGREE WE CANNOT RELIABLY CALCULATE ANY CHANGE TO THAT PRECISION.

IF YOU ONLY MEASURE TEMPS AND LOG THEM IN WHOLE DEGREES YOU MAY NOT IN SCIENCE REPORT FINDINGS TO THE 1/10,000 OF A DEGREE.

BOGUS SCIENCE AND I'M SICK OF IT.

ImGumbydmmt @ Jul 8, 2017 8:17 PM "0.0963 or 0.0139 degrees? And thats considered large?"

Yes 0.0963 is considered incredibly large.

At that rate, after 100 years the temperature will have risen by 0.0963 x 100 = 9.6 degrees which is considered enormous. You know,.... cataclysmic.

As to the significant figures, they are significant for the average, not for an individual temperature measurement.

Where were you folk educated, because nearly all of you come across as ignorant of even basic science?

So, you are interested in Old Testament stuff. Did you know that God states that he gave the first man the name Adam, because he created Adam from (clay/earth from) the four corners of the world, and in a similar fashion, the word Adam is made from (the first letters of) the four corners of the world (i.e., from the first letters of East, West, North, and South, in Greek).

A = Anatola = East (in Greek).
D = Dysis = West (in Greek).
A = Arctos = North (in Greek).
M = Mesembria = South (in Greek).

Saint Augustine in his book "Expositions on the book of Psalms," says:

"He gathereth all His elect from the four winds therefore from the whole world. For Adam himself (this I had said before) signifieth in Greek the whole world; for there are four letters, A, D, A, and M. But as the Greeks speak, the four quarters of the world have these initial letters, Anatola, they call the East; Dysis, the West; Arctos, the North; Mesembria, the South: thou hast the word Adam."

Then came the wisest of all creatures, who was called [Serpent]And when he saw the likeness of their mother Eve he said to
her, "What did God say to you? Was it 'Do not eat from the tree of
knowledge'?" She said, "He said not only, 'Do not eat from it', but, 'Do
not touch it, lest you die.'"

He said to her, "Do not be afraid. In death
you shall not die. For he knows that when you eat from it, your intellect
will become sober and you will come to be like gods, recognizing the
difference that obtains between evil men and good ones. Indeed, it was
in jealousy that he said this to you, so that you would not eat from it."

Now Eve had confidence in the words of the instructor. She gazed at the
tree and saw that it was beautiful and appetizing, and liked it; she took
some of its fruit and ate it; and she gave some also to her husband, and
he too ate it. Then their intellect became open. For when they had eaten,
the light of knowledge had shone upon them. When they clothed
themselves with shame, they knew that they were naked of knowledge.
When they became sober, they saw that they were naked and became enamored of one another.

When they saw that the ones who had
modelled them had the form of beasts, they loathed them: they were
very aware.

Then when the rulers knew that they had broken their commandments,
they entered Paradise and came to Adam and Eve with earthquake and
great threatening, to see the effect of the aid. Then Adam and Eve
trembled greatly and hid under the trees in Paradise. Then the rulers
did not know where they were and said, "Adam, where are you?" He
said, "I am here, for through fear of you I hid, being ashamed." And
they said to him ignorantly, "Who told you about the shame with which
you clothed yourself? - unless you have eaten from that tree!" He said,
"The woman whom you gave me - it is she that gave to me and I ate."

Then they said to the latter, "What is this that you have done?" She
answered and said, "It is the instructor who urged me on, and I ate."
Then the rulers came up to the instructor. Their eyes became misty
because of him, and they could not do anything to him [Serpent]. They
cursed him, since they were powerless. Afterwards, they came up to the
woman and cursed her and her offspring. After the woman, they cursed
Adam, and the land because of him, and the crops; and all things they
had created, they cursed. They have no blessing. Good cannot result
from evil.

From that day, the authorities knew that truly there was something
mightier than they: they recognized only that their commandments had
not been kept. Great jealousy was brought into the world solely because
of the immortal man. Now when the rulers saw that their Adam had
entered into an alien state of knowledge, they desired to test him, and they gathered together all the domestic animals and the wild beasts of
the earth and the birds of heaven and brought them to Adam to see
what he would call them. When he saw them, he gave names to their
creatures.

They became troubled because Adam had recovered from all the trials.
They assembled and laid plans, and they said, "Behold Adam! He has
come to be like one of us, so that he knows the difference between the
light and the darkness. Now perhaps he will be deceived, as in the case
of the Tree of Knowledge, and also will come to the Tree of Life and eat
from it, and become immortal, and become lord, and despise us and
disdain us and all our glory! Then he will denounce us along with our
universe. Come, let us expel him from Paradise, down to the land from
which he was taken, so that henceforth he might not be able to recognize
anything better than we can." And so they expelled Adam from
Paradise, along with his wife.

And this deed that they had done was not enough for them. Rather, they were afraid. They
went in to the Tree of Life and surrounded it with great fearful things, fiery living
creatures called "Cheroubin", and they put a flaming sword in their midst, fearfully
twirling at all times, so that no earthly being might ever enter that place.

Thereupon, since the rulers were envious of Adam they wanted to diminish their [viz.,
Adam's and Eve's] lifespans. They could not [, however,] because of fate, which had been
fixed since the beginning.

Yes I'm just a dumb architect. my masters degree is toilet paper. Its my wife, with her masters in molecular biology that I fact checked my shit against. she polielty concurred with my profane interpretation of a weak memory of how to apply signifigant figures in science experiments.

She said I was fundamentally correct and since she holds Master of Science Degree and worked for several years as University researcher, I think we have a credible source.

We also discussed that while some weather stations are now measuring weather in 0.1 of a degree, if world wide some of the weather stations are only accurate at logging temps to 1 full degree, the publish "average" based on such data CANNOT use ANY numerical charactors to the right of the decimal place.

Therefore, there are no calcluations to 0.01 allowed. This is  not an acceptable accuracy, since a portion of the input data is +/- 0.5 degrees.

Again, In credible science one Cannot calculate some average temp to an accuracy of 0.0001 or 0.001 or 0.01  or even 0.1 degree  when some of the input data is only accurate to +/- 0.5

This is not so hard to understand.

Sorry bud, but you are simply wrong. You are equating apples and oranges.

You can get the average of any set of data (say the data is accurate to +/- 0.5) to within any given accuracy (say the average should be accurate to +/- 0.05) by just increasing the number of data points. This is really basic stuff.

That's a very quick explanation, but it is not my job to teach you what your teachers failed to do. Hope that helps.

Not to mention that comparable global satellite data just existed 37 years or so, while these end-is-nighers are claiming "hottest years since records started 150 years ago". We must have had a good global coverage at that time by thermometers in Antarctica, Sub Saharan Africa and remote areas in South America and of course we without the slightest hesitation can translate this non existing primary data to satellite gathered radiation measurements.
