Research Team Slams Global Warming Data In New Report: "Not Reality... Totally Inconsistent With Credible Temperature Data"

Tyler Durden's picture

Authored by Mac Slavo via,

As world leaders, namely in the European Union, attack President Trump for pulling out of the Paris Climate Agreement which would have saddled Americans with billions upon billions of dollars in debt and economic losses, a new bombshell report that analyzed Global Average Surface Temperature (GAST) data produced by NASA, the NOAA and HADLEY proves the President was right on target with his refusal to be a part of the new initiative.

According to the report, which has been peer reviewed by administrators, scientists and researchers from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.), and several of America’s leading universities, the data is completely bunk:

In this research report, the most important surface data adjustment issues are identified and past changes in the previously reported historical data are quantified. It was found that each new version of GAST has nearly always exhibited a steeper warming linear trend over its entire history. And, it was nearly always accomplished by systematically removing the previously existing cyclical temperature pattern. This was true for all three entities providing GAST data measurement, NOAA, NASA and Hadley CRU.

As a result, this research sought to validate the current estimates of GAST using the best available relevant data. This included the best documented and understood data sets from the U.S. and elsewhere as well as global data from satellites that provide far more extensive global coverage and are not contaminated by bad siting and urbanization impacts. Satellite data integrity also benefits from having cross checks with Balloon data.

The conclusive findings of this research are that the three GAST data sets are not a valid representation of reality. In fact, the magnitude of their historical data adjustments, that removed their cyclical temperature patterns, are totally inconsistent with published and credible U.S. and other temperature data. Thus, it is impossible to conclude from the three published GAST data sets that recent years have been the warmest ever –despite current claims of record setting warming.

Finally, since GAST data set validity is a necessary condition for EPA’s GHG/CO2 Endangerment Finding, it too is invalidated by these research findings. (Full Abstract Report)

Of course, this won’t stop global climate normalcy deniers from saying it’s all one big conspiracy to destroy the earth. They’ll naturally argue that data adjustments to the temperatures need to be made for a variety of reasons, which is something the report doesn’t dispute. What it does show, however, is that these “adjustments” always prove to be to the upside. Always warmer, never cooler:

While the notion that some “adjustments” to historical data might need to be made is not challenged, logically it would be expected that such historical temperature data adjustments would sometimes raise these temperatures, and sometimes lower them. This situation would mean that the impact of such adjustments on the temperature trend line slope is uncertain. However, each new version of GAST has nearly always exhibited a steeper warming linear trend over its entire history.

In short: The evidence has been falsified.

Karl Denninger sums it up succinctly:

It is therefore quite-clear that the data has been intentionally tampered with.

Since this has formed the basis for plans to steal literal trillions of dollars and has already resulted in the forced extraction of hundreds of billions in aggregate for motorists and industry this quite-clearly constitutes the largest economic fraud ever perpetrated in the world.

I call for the indictment and prosecution of every person and organization involved, asset-stripping all of them to their literal underwear.

The real data looks something like this:

And the establishment, along with their fanatical global warming myrmidons, continue to push the need for massive, costly initiatives to reduce green house gases and global temperatures to “normal” levels.

The problem, of course, is that there is no global warming according to the above referenced report.

Moreover, none of those supporting the Paris Climate Agreement and other initiatives have any idea what these behemoth regulations will actually do to curb climate change, as evidenced by the following video of Miami Beach Mayor Philip Levine, who despite his best efforts, can’t seem to figure out exactly how these agreements actually lower temperatures and help Americans:

Note that in 2008 the NOAA data point at the lower end actually matched the met office.

There must have been worries about funding cuts during the GFC so for once they just decided "fuck this, lets release the real figures".

No point in taking steps to stop global warming. The planet is past the tipping point, nothing can save it now.

Human species will be no more as part of the earth's sixth mass extinction, which is already happening.

So no point in taking measures, instead eat, junket and be merry. For tomorrow we die.

Where I am the temperature rose 40 degrees just by noon. We're doomed.  This can't go on.

Don't believe me?  That's understandable, confirmation bias is extremely powerful - a belief that the past is a good guide to the future.

Try asking young and middle aged climate scientists who are university faculty. Many, indeed most, of them are choosing not to have children because they know what is coming to the earth. And sooner than 90+% of people think. Go ahead, try it for real, ask them.

SwiffFiffteh's picture

They're not having children?

That's the best fucking news I've had all week.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Trump on this one.  That climate agreement was a total screw job for the US, he was right to get us out of that bullshit.  If the water level is rising, which I don't think it is, then its too late, you're already fucked.  It had to get warm enough to melt the ice caps, and you aren't going to cool it off any by paying some government bullshit tax.  You missed your chance, you snoozed and losed, you missed the boat.  So if the water rose, which I don't think it did, then just move to higher land!  If you had beach front property, tough shit, you made a bad investment, you have to move.

Baron von Bud's picture

Areas where the sea is rising are actually places where the land is subsiding. This is the case along the US Gulf coast.

Chart shown above is not what the text of the article is about, they are talking about the data from past 100 to 500 years and longer being faked, the baselines are faked instead of the current era data.  Which is also faked, but that's not what this article is about.

Get a brain. The basic of all plant, animal life and all organic compounds is the chemical reaction: carbon dioxide + water + sunlight = carbohydrates + oxygen. Plants absorb energy from the sun to make all life. Without carbon dioxide we would have no continuous replacement for oxygen. 99.9% of all humans are made from carbon dioxide and water. If you knew physical chemistry, more carbon dioxide, or more sunlight or warmer temperatures = more plants = more food. Carbon dioxide is added inside greenhouses to get more plant growth.

Prometheus took fire from the gods. The warming morons want to give it back.

Teja's picture

About 70% of a human's body is water. But people do drown, in spite of this. Your argument is simplistic bullshit.

Reaper's picture

Even your bones, composed of calcium, are nourished by carbon- dioxide/water components.

Your argument about drowning is non-sequitur.

The Paris Agreement actually didn't say anything, this was supposed to be its real value everyone could sign it and ignore it, but given that it was never presented to Congress it has the force of law equal to a dead tick, and what Trump should have done is wadded up a copy and stuck it up an intern's bunghole.  Or maybe Macron's.  Macron, I swear, I will always have to think three times before remembering that's neither a cookie nor a miracle fiber.

Oh yea, that's right 93% or whatever of all climate scientists believe in Global Warming...........we've heard that lie too..........however many there are, take away their Global Warming-based compensation and see what any of them say..........

the problem is that if you reduce green gas emissions to the levels these lunatics want, you aren't going to have any forests THAT is a fact!   And guess what?  Without enough plant life on earth, we don't have any oxygen!

You know what's even better? Look at the methodology.

I am one of the 93%, yet I disagree with some of the tenets, most importantly, the official solutions. IOW, many are both in and out of the 93%, at the same time.

"It would be real nice if smart paid half as well."

Can't happen, it's math:

"Physics tells us that power equals work over time (P=W/t.) If knowledge is power and time is money, we can substitute: knowledge equals work over money. Therefore, the ratio between knowledge and money is inversely proportional."

VWAndy's picture

 Its funny because its true. Case in point. Back in my vw days trouble shooting was easy for me. I could figure out most problems in 5 min or less. The clown across the street would charge a diagnostic fee for not knowing how to actually trouble shoot jack. He would really just be throwing parts at it until it ran. Bill for the job I did for 50 to 60 bucks. This clown would run up into the hundreds of dollars. Its now SOP in way to many shops. Not long ago I was at a dealership and a master tech was installing a battery a starter and an alternator on the same car. For an intermitant no start. It always did crank!

Not the same Powers (that's official, I am a physicist ;) ).

Example: election victories are usually bought, with the ground game being a factor. Power = money x time

Here's one for you:

Getting the girl is a product of the time and money invested in courting her

Girls = time x money.

However time is money, so

Girls = money^2

However, money is the root of all evil

money = SQR(Evil)

so money^2 = Evil

Girls = Evil !

. . . _ _ _ . . .'s picture

I understand the differences, it is a play on words. Mathematical laws cannot be imposed on linguistic constructs.

Nevertheless, it illustrates my point.

A broader base makes for a taller tower, the exception being focused like a laser beam.

If a PhD is like a laser and a three Bachelor's degrees are like a pyramid, the laser will reach further, but the pyramid will have more volume.

A PhD will earn more than someone with three bachelor's degrees, but who knows more (if such a concept is even quantifiable,) generally speaking? That is the point I was making.

lol @ evil girls

Q: What's the difference between a slut and a bitch?

A: A slut will sleep with anyone. A bitch will sleep with anyone but you.

CRM114's picture

There's also a balancing boys calculation

Boys define themselves by power over other boys

Boys = Power / Boys

Boys^2 = Power

But absolute power leads to absolute corruption

absolute power = absolute corruption

power = corruption

Boys^2 = corruption

and so

Boys = Root(Corruption)

So, since boys are the root of all corruption, Girls may be evil,

But It's All The Boys' Fault.

Article: "And the establishment [...] continue to push the need for massive, costly initiatives to reduce green house gases and global temperatures to “normal” levels." <and then> "The problem, of course, is that there is no global warming according to the above referenced report."

And therein lies the rub:

  • There are ever growing numbers of laws, rules, regs and taxes supported by international agreements and treaties (eg The Paris Accord) being imposed by mindless governments to force individuals, industries and whole societies to achieve something that the perps themselves have not and cannot actually honestly define.
  • In other words it's a gigantic con-trick being perpetrated on all of us by power-hungry control-freaks who hate the world they live in and want to force us out of our cars. It's just another face of totalitarian government.
AchtungAffen's picture

Yeah, it's all a ruse by control freaks to take away your dimes. Because, OF COURSE, pulling millions of years of stored sun energy underground and poofing it into the atmosphere in a geological blink of an eye has absolutely NO CONSEQUENCES. Except people being afraid of control freaks... Oh these necks. There ain't alantoin enough in the world for all y'all...

smacker's picture

What you describe either has an effect or it doesn't. Those who investigated the global warming scam say it doesn't. They produced evidence to prove it.

Now if you want to talk about some climate change, I'm all ears. But bear in mind that it's been going on for approx 4.6 billion years long before mankind showed up. So, whilst I accept some climate change, I reject that it's anthropogenic in nature. We should focus our efforts on ((mitigating its effects)), not taxing people which will not help the various extreme weather conditions that happen.

Also, we should find ways of dealing with the vast quantities of human waste to keep the planet clean and free of pollution etc.

Hows about we load up space rockets with a few dozen political elites/banksters and send them off into space? What do you reckon?

AchtungAffen's picture

It does or doesn't. Changing the chemical composition of the atmosphere might have no effects to you. And considering you talk about paleoclimatology, I'd recommend you read about other epochs where the atmospheric composition was changed (for example, too much oxygen: snowball earth). You deny the anthropogenic cause of it, but this time it wasn't micro-organisms which pulled those millions of years of stored sun energy underground up into the atmosphere in 300 years. The change in atmospheric composition is clearly human activity induced. There are people in the denier arena which said to have presented evidence. I know psychologists who can present "evidence" on whatever you want them to, too (I don't think I know a psychologist who isn't a master in this version of the art of sophistry). Thing is, and the main property of the scientific method, falsifiability. The denier arena still hasn't presented evidence to falsify what is nowadays the consensus of 90%+ of people in the field. Why should a wordpress published pseudo-paper be any better?

The Wedge's picture

"You deny the anthropogenic cause of it, but this time it wasn't micro-organisms which pulled those millions of years of stored sun energy underground up into the atmosphere in 300 years. The change in atmospheric composition is clearly human activity induced".

Just curious, what is the dissipation rate for C02? LOL

"Do you deny the existence of God"? Recant, Recant denier! While turning the wheel of the rack tighter.

The similarities between this and the inquisition appears to be lost on some.

Remember boys and girls....I mean Zee and Zir, science is never wrong and therefore can never be questioned!

SwiffFiffteh's picture

It rains hydrocarbons on Saturn's moon Titan. There are lakes of natural gas on the surface.

Think of it!! Fossil-free fossil fuels!! Now you know why Russians drill through granite to get oil. Because they have known for a long time that hydrocarbons secrete from the mantle.

Which means.... it isn't stored sunlight trapped by ancient organics. All of that is in the limestone sediments atop bedrock all over the planet, laid there by oceans both ancient and modern. Whatever carbon the plants don't eat, the oceans swallow, and eventually lay them to rest in the seabeds. The shit doesn't stay in the atmosphere for long, it must be continually renewed. And at 400ppm, we are at the low end of the range of carbon the earth has had in the atmosphere historically. If you think more is a bad thing, go visit a commercial greenhouse, where they routinely raise the interior CO2 levels to 800 or 1200ppm. The plants fucking love it.

Also note that even with all that CO2, they still need all that glass to be a proper greenhouse.

doubledutch's picture

Same stories in South Africa and record lows in Greenland.

smacker's picture

True, but the history of this is that fanatical global warmists quickly found a way to brush-off those events by claiming that, although the mean temperature of planet earth was rising due to all these excess gases, it didn't mean warmer temperatures everywhere, and that some places would experience colder temperatures.

And when that didn't convince everybody they soon changed the name from ((global warming)) to ((climate change)) which is a catch-all for any change of temperature or more/less rainfall anywhere.

It's a gigantic con-trick led by meteorologists and climate scientists who have now seriously besmirched their own profession. The political class are still playing catch-up.
