"Dear President Trump: What The F**k Business Is Venezuela Of Ours?"

Tyler Durden's picture

Authored by Mike Shedlock via MishTalk.com,

Dear President Trump, forgive my harsh language, but since you and your staff can use harsh language, why can’t anyone else?

That’s a minor question. Since you are busy, I prefer an answer to this question: What the F Business is Venezuela of Ours?

I ask because you stated: “We have many options for Venezuela including a possible military option if necessary.”

Dear President Trump, here are some additional questions that I am sure are on the minds of nearly everyone familiar with the story.

Ten Questions for Trump

  1. Are you willing to “own” the problems in Venezuela?
  2. What does “necessary” mean?
  3. Did US nation building in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan work?
  4. Did not Vietnam turn out OK starting the moment we left?
  5. Did the US intervene to stop hyperinflation in Zimbabwe? Argentina?
  6. Are there not more repressive regimes in Africa?
  7. What’s different about Venezuela?
  8. By any chance is this about oil?
  9. Other than oil, what the F business is Venezuela of ours?
  10. Regardless of your threats and concerns, when has US nation building ever worked?

I thank you in advance for your answers.

Bonus Question

Dear Mr. President, I almost forgot: How do you propose we pay for a military solution in Venezuela?

I voted for you and would appreciate some answers.

Unless you can provide answers, I strongly suggest we do not need another quagmire, we cannot afford another quagmire, and we should stay the F* out of it.

Great question.  Why the hell do we need to invade yet another country?

Aren't our politicians and military busy enough already?

ReturnOfDaMac's picture

If the whole damn world was at peace, 'Murica would start a fight with itself!  I've come to accept it, it's just the American way...

MANvsMACHINE's picture

America is already fighting with itself. Left vs right. Cops vs citizens. Black vs white. Who benefits from all this infighting?

ReturnOfDaMac's picture

THAT is the THE question!  If we can figure this out, we can score serious coin.  Let's get to work ...

But, but..... he's the world's policeman!

He should quit. Let law of the jungle take over, couldn't do much worse ...

This isn't about the politician in office.  The bankers don't want Ven to fall in the wrong  hands.  Central bankers need it to expropriate its resources.  It's all about resources and shipping lanes.  Evidence is Afghanistan, Syria, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Crimea, Ukraine......

The dollar depends on it, otherwise it's ditched and the US populace would have to produce something to survive.  In other words, they wouldn't.  Food stamp nation is exporting its bullshit and using the MIC as a means to finance domestic laziness.

a perfectly democratic and lawful president invokes a perfectly legal and democratic, constitutionally coded process to change the constitution of Venezuela. Result: Western whore media reports on the "Maduro-regime" (yet BBC can't find any atrocities committed by the Venezuelan weak-armed police) , US threatens wirh war (what against?), Soros & friends (US-sponsored NGO's) destabilize the country (to get the old US-dick sucking oligarchs back in power).

Anybody wonders why a recent poll finds that the US is percieved asa major threat to world peace globally?

My forecast: They won't be successful in Venezuela.IF they are successful (a Venezuelan Poroshenko takes over aided by the CIA and those Nuland-types), large parts of South America will burn. Mark my words.

But but but I thought that the Orange Jesus wanted to drain the swamp and stop all the wars?

All ZH Trump fanboys have been suckered.

ReturnOfDaMac's picture

They were always a stupid bunch.  Angry folk don't think.  I had hoped he would do better.  Even now they will make excuses for their orange red-boy even as he screws 'em, without the common gawddamn courtesy of using a little grease.

Lets send them AR-15's let them sort it out.  Mish you send yours first you don't believe people need them to throw off repressive governments so you'll never need yours. When you opine on the evil nature of guns and then tell a people to suffer under a communist totalitarian regime and look like an old lesbian, I don't forget.

But even a stopped  clock..  Trump stay the hell out.

I agree, the socialist idiots got themselves into the mess. The burned hand learns the best, sorry if that doesn't help liberals but I wouldn't piss on a liberal if they were on fire.

Only question that was needed was number 8

By any chance is this about oil?

AllBentOutOfShape's picture

Of course it's about oil.

Unlike Trump, Maduro is actually "draining the swamp" to save his country, and the US is now faced with having to send in their 'swamp rescue team' to continue their coup operation.

Calmyourself's picture

Whats the swamp in Venezuela composed of?  Toilet paper, edible food, potable water and competence, if so Maduro is doing one hell of a job.

peopledontwanttruth's picture

The puppeticians are always on break and recess

But as far as the military goes, they haven't seen anything YET

The Wizard's picture

The coup didn't work.

Trump and Wall St. work hand in hand. No different than previous administrations.

Wall St. wants to make sure Venezuela will not back out on debt instruments Goldman and Wall St. created for them. Because Wall St. has control of the military via the administration, they will send them in to capture their oil.

Imperialism, what did the founders have to say about it?

Thugocracy's picture

The answer to the question is refugees. A destabilizing influence in that part of the world results in tens of millions fleeing, to here and elsewhere, depending on how many others are also dragged down. Not an argument for invasion, but certainly the national interest, for us and others.

And WTF is that Indian HB1 visa "American" UN envoy doing there? Looking like she's trying to understand what is beeing said.

Wars, more wars. Nothing solved at home.In fact I knew it was NOT possible to MAGA. But I thought in my naivete that maybe, maybe there will be no more wars.

He's going to make America SMALLER (probably a few states). I really don't think  we are going to reach the fall without major collapse

Latin American dipshits will never accept a US solution.

It is just in their nature.

They would rather embrace socialism and then bitch when it collapses.

Krungle's picture

Please name a single time when the US did not immediately try to overthrow and/or destabilize a Latin American country that went socialist. Next, please explain why it is America's business what they do in Latin America.

Why do you people care so fucking much about what other people do?

ReturnOfDaMac's picture

I'm sorry Krungle, it's somehow in the genes.  This country is incapable of minding its own damned business.  American roads, bridges, highways, airports, hospitals, streets and and schools are literally in shambles. It's society is breaking down. It's bankrupt. But it can never let anyone else's misfortunes be an excuse to make it worse for them.  We are some kind of really messed up animal ...

HopefulCynical's picture

I'm sorry Krungle, it's somehow in the genes.  This country is incapable of minding its own damned business.

You say that as if it was the American people doing all this warmongering.

Wag the dog...

Great reply Return

My only answer is "misery loves company"!

It certainly sad when you hang your head in shame as an American.

Spoke with a Russian school teacher recently who spoke fluent English, he said he and other Russians realize its not the people but the "selected" politicians who are pushing this insanity.

ReturnOfDaMac's picture

My Russian friends realize this too, they saw a similar thing happen in Russia.  They know real Americans and know that unfortunately we have lost control of our government.  A handful of warmongering states, and a few oligarchs have completely taken over.

peopledontwanttruth's picture

As expressed in 1887

"Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men."

It's been this way for millennia as man has dominated men to their own detriment. Nothing has changed

Ecclesiastes 8:9
New King James Version (NKJV)

9 All this I have seen, and applied my heart to every work that is done under the sun: There is a time in which one man rules over another to his own hurt.

We're at the point only God can and will straighten this catastrophic Satanic experiment to an end. It's known now the oligarchs are running the show with their selected politicians. Their day draws near.

ReturnOfDaMac's picture

It can't get here soon enough, until then, I guess its long bank stawks.

peopledontwanttruth's picture

It will happen suddenly as if in one night even though the outward signs are evident that it's close. Keep the faith.

There is no God©, bro.

Originally, God© was a volcano.  Then the mystery schools taught the Heebs that God© was Saturn, who resided in the north, and his Son was the Sun.

33 years, 33 degrees, the house of the man with the water pitcher, the age of Aquarius, yadda yadda yadda.

It's all just antiquated understanding of astronomy.

Have a beer and watch the game, bro.

peopledontwanttruth's picture

Hey bro. Just had a beer and going to have another later. We're all entitled to our opinions but yours would carry more weight if your sign in wasn't based upon a religious holiday even though completely a false teaching.

I'll stick to my God belief system, thanks bro.

logicalman's picture

I bet when you were a kid you believed in Santa Claus, The Tooth Fairy and God.

I doubt you still believe in Santa or The Fairy.

You only have one more fairy tale to shake off.

Go for it!

peopledontwanttruth's picture

And you would have lost your bet. You see because of not knowing most people online and going for an upvote by assuming, we don't act very Logical in our comments many times.

I came from a family that struggled so I never received a Christmas gift nor did I ever get money under my pillow when I lost teeth, so no I never did believe in any of those fairytales. I came from a family that struggled on many fronts.

I didn't grow up resentful or angry but as a kid was involved in drugs from a young age, stealing and all the other stupid choices as a foolish child. When 18, I decided to search for the meaning in life with purpose and have studied the Bible for going on 38 years, most independently of churches as I've been outspoken to the point of being kicked out for speaking the truth. I've been marked by pastors and other church leaders in churches for their members not to talk to me, even though I've never been violent nor verbally abusive but simply spoke the truth. Yes my God and my relationship has gotten me through it all. So the logical thing for me to do is stay right where I'm at. The Logical thing for you to do is jump towards a honest study of the scriptures and realize that even the religions of this world have been used by Satan to turn people from the truth. He has many flavors in his parlor, atheism is just one of them.

Respectfully
PDWT

logicalman's picture

Fair comment.

I grew up, if not in poverty, pretty close to.

I was brought up Anglican and decided to read the Bible when I was about 13.

I decided I should read the 'prequel' - The Old Testament as well.

The Old Testament is a truly scary read, but it does portray the same god as the New.

Having read both the Old and New Testaments a couple of times and had a go at other religious teachings, I found that the only logical position to take was atheism.

I respect the rights of others to believe in whatever religion they choose, so long as they do the same for me, who chooses none.

If 'god' doesn't exist, neither does 'satan'.
