Greeks Trust Putin Most Relative To Trump, Brits Undecided

Tyler Durden's picture

Around the world, few people trust Russian President Vladimir Putin to do the right thing when it comes to international affairs. A global median of roughly one-in-four (26%) say they have confidence in the Russian leader. However, as KeepTalkingGreece reports, Greeks love the Russian President; much more so in fact than US President Donald Trump.

According to a survey conducted by PEW Research Center, only in three countries surveyed do majorities express a favorable opinion of Russia: Vietnam (83%), Greece (64%) and the Philippines (55%).

Doubts about Putin’s handling of foreign policy, however, do not necessarily coincide with perceptions of Russia as a security risk.

Across 37 countries, a median of 31% describe Russia’s power and influence as a major threat to their country – identical to the median percentage who say the same about China, and similar to the median share (35%) that sees America’s power and influence as a large threat.

Europeans are particularly harsh in their assessment of Putin, with a median in Europe of 78% expressing a lack of confidence in the leader. In the U.S. and Canada, few are confident in Putin’s global leadership, with more than three times as many people disliking Putin as liking him.

Faith in both leaders is high in South Africa and India while Australians, Canadians, and Brits just about trust Trump over Putin.

I am at-the-point, where I do not want to read ONE MORE WORD from ANY media institution about what ANYONE says about President Trump.  Folks, we have a LITERAL insurrection, and a LITERAL coup-d'etat, taking-place, RIGHT NOW, with traitors and seditionists on both The Left and The Right, and FUCK-ALL IS BEING DONE TO STOP WHAT IS HAPPENING AGAINST OUR NATION FROM THESE OUTRIGHT CRIMINALS.

As bad as that is, do you people know what is even worse?  President Trump could have stopped ALL of this shit, from Day One, by NOT, NOT, NOT!!!, saying, "The Clintons are good people; they have been-through-enough."  When he said that, as, quite literally, his first action-in-office, that sent-the-signal to the LITERAL traitors and seditionists of (((The Deep-State))) to do EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that (((they))) and (((their))) minions could do to destroy his Administration, his Presidency, and stop the betterment-of-our-nation, FULL-STOP.  If ONLY he would have KEPT-HIS-WORD!!!!, and LOCKED-THEM-UP, NONE of this shit would be happening, as it is, now, and we would be singing-his-praises as the SAVIOR-OF-THE -UNITED-STATES-OF-AMERICA...

This is literal mass-insanity, and I can not believe that so many people are oblivious to the seriousness of what is happening.  THAT, in-and-of-itself, is fucking nuts.

Most people are ignorant sheep.  These are the type of people that only  believe what they hear on the radio and see on tv.  The msm is dying and they know it so they are doing everything in their power to make people believe them.  Then you have nigs and spics who will always be nigs and spics.

Nobodys Home's picture

I truly hope that doesn't happen. It'll be ugly beyond most people's comprehension. I'm an old guy and even I am ready to try and help deal with this shit. I shouldn't be.

edotabin's picture

Well, the current state of affairs in Greece would indicate that they are not in the best position to judge leaders etc. I mean you include their numbers in the poll but to but to lead with Greece? That's like asking a chef his opinion about things when he's burned down 25 restaurants.

TuPhat's picture

What's up with these numbers?  The numbers in the article don't match the numbers on the charts.

I have a location that I walk foe a couple hours each day. I've gotten to know several people and regularly carry on conversations with them. Yesterday a lady regularly talk to said, " the world's going to hell"! SHE mentioned the attacks in Carolina, AND I told her it was all BULLSHIT, that OUR leaders will do everything to separate US. She then blamed it ALL on TRUMP for appeasing the Nazis? I told her OBAMA was the biggest race BAITER OUR NATION HAS ever had AS a PRESIDENT? I thought she was going to have a coronary? HER face turned ALL red, and she expressed a desire for obamas return? I told her he was a Muslim brotherhood AGENT, and a traitor to america, SHE flipped? SHE went huffing down the street talking tonjerseld? Psycho bitch!

Thosw who have woken up know that Putin is helping humanity in the battle beween good and evil.

Iskiab's picture

Really? I'd say it's more accurate to say Putin is helping Putin, and then whether your interests align is whether you see it as good or bad.

Eyes Opened's picture

Sooo.... This is a poll of HOW MANY are awake... interesting....

Greece "money for nothing" attidude, since not working with EU/IMF anymore Putin is last hope. Tsipras went to see Putin.....came home empty.

Nobodys Home's picture

We got to move these refrigerators.

edit: Not much difference between Greece and the US. We're two countries that have become socialists. Greece knew it, the US stupidly thinks we are different.
Ask Summers and Jerkoff. They'll tell ya!

dark fiber's picture

And they will get money for nothing from Russia? AHAHAH

I swear if Greeks become extinct it will be a case of evolution in action.

Putin's Russia can't be trusted -

Russia tells Britain give back Gibraltar & Falklands before telling US what to do.

RUSSIA has told Britain it should "clean its conscience" and give back Gibraltar and the Falkland Islands before it criticises them over their involvement in Ukraine. Moscow's ambassador to the UN, Vitaly Churkin made the shocking remarks when responding to his British counterpart Matthew Rycroft at a UN security council meeting in New York. (Daily Express 4 Feb 2017)

Do the Spanish have a claim to the Rock? Gibraltar - Some Relevant International Law:

Perhaps not.

Funny thing to say when Argentina has never legally owned the Falklands. So how can they 'be returned' ?

Falklands- Never Belonged to Argentina:

The bad guys ?

nmewn's picture

How much does it cost for a taxi ride from Trafalgar Square to the Falklands? Its like right around the corner from Britannia Islands Mall & the Gibraltar Pub isn't it? ;-)

Nobodys Home's picture

Oh jeez. Give ole Bob a break. He's trying! Much more than most of us here in the circus. I'm growing fond of the troll. At least he has goals:)

nmewn's picture

lol...well, the British Empire had goals too.

I'm-Jus-Sayin! ;-)

Nobodys Home's picture

Yep. And I think they realized those goals. Don't they own us?
I wuz thinkin that they are the receivers of our bankruptcy. I might be wrong.

nmewn's picture

Did they dig up and poll Georgios Papadopolous? ;-)

Trump appears to be surrounded by some folks who have different objectives with what is and is not reasonable and rationable behaviour.

I don't think Putin will have the same problem in Russia.

Having said that, we in the UK are in a silmilar position in that there are a good few traitors in our Government.

ludwigvmises's picture

Trump is universally hated in Western Europe.

nmewn's picture

Well, it sounds like he's pissing off the right people then.

Nobodys Home's picture

This is an odd article to post here.
After all, Us ZHers are Russian agents dontchaknow.

"Around the world, few people trust Russian President Vladimir Putin to do the right thing when it comes to international affairs."

That statement is simply bullshit. Most people I know trust Putin more than Trump.

cherry picker's picture

I trust Putin more and so do many I communicate with.

We trust him more in respect to peace and Integrity than the USA and we are Canadian.

I think the polls are the same ones that projected a landslide for HRC.

To be honest.  Polls have a horrible track record of being accurate   They should outlaw them as they are used to bolster propaganda.

johnjkiii's picture

Well, that does it. The Greeks who are now in their 15th bankruptcy since they got independence from Turkey and are among the most astute rent seekers of the world, have now put their trust in Vlad-the-Thug. Confirms my trust in Trump.

sinbad2's picture

"since they got independence from Turkey"

I don't know what sort of drugs you use, but you should stop.

SAIAN's picture

Half the Brits would trust a criminal and gloat about it, the other half would trust broth Putin or Trump coz it makes sense.

what a propaganda shit1

Here in EU, it is 90/100 Putin over everybody else.

A total shit.

The trust seems to be jewish linked Soros tool.

Missing 1/2 the world population, including China, India.

sinbad2's picture

It's like comparing chalk and cheese.

Putin is a leader, he wants to make things better for the Russian people.

Trump is a leader in name only, American Presidents are PR people, the real American Government is secret, Presidents are the public face of the hidden government.
