16 Unanswered Questions About The Las Vegas Shooting That Mainstream Media Doesn't Want To Talk About

Tyler Durden's picture

Authored by Michael Snyder via The Economic Collapse blog,

The public is not being told the truth about what really went down in Las Vegas.

As you will see below, the evidence is mounting that there were multiple shooters and that this was an operation that was planned well in advance.  But according to the mainstream media, a 64-year-old retired accountant with a flabby physique that had no military training whatsoever and that wasn’t very experienced with guns was able to pull the whole thing off all by himself.  We are being told that Paddock was a “lone wolf” that didn’t have any ties to terror groups, and since he is now dead nobody is ever going to be able to interrogate him.

But the American people definitely deserve some answers about what took place, and that means that all of us should keep digging.

The following are 16 unanswered questions about the Las Vegas shooting that the mainstream media does not want to talk about…

#1 Photos of Stephen Paddock’s hotel room have been leaked, and one of those photos appears to show a suicide note. Why hasn’t the public been told what is in that note?

#2 Were there additional shooters?  A taxi driver reportedly captured video of an automatic weapon being fired out of a lower level window.  A video from another angle and brief footage captured by Dan Bilzerian also seem to confirm that automatic gunfire was coming from a floor much lower than the 32nd floor room that Stephen Paddock was located on.  And if you weren’t convinced by the first three videos, this fourth video should definitely do it.

#3 Why were law enforcement authorities discussing “another suspect on the fourth floor”, and why isn’t the mainstream media talking about this?

#4 As Jon Rappoport has pointed out, it would have been impossible for Stephen Paddock to kill and wound 573 people in less than five minutes of shooting with the kinds of weapons that he is alleged to have used.  So why won’t law enforcement authorities acknowledge this fact?

#5 How in the world did Paddock get 42 guns and “several thousand rounds of ammo” into his hotel room without anyone noticing?

#6 How did someone with “no military background” and that wasn’t a “gun guy at all” operate such advanced weapons?  Because what we are being told by the mainstream media just doesn’t make any sense whatsoever.  I really like how Natural News made this point…

Far from what the firearms-illiterate media claims, these are not systems that any Joe off the street can just pick up and use to effortlessly mow down 500 people. Running these systems requires extensive training, experience and stamina. It is physically impossible for a guy like Stephen Paddock to operate such a system in the sustained, effective manner that we witnessed, especially when shooting from an elevated position which throws off all the ranging of the weapon system.

Far from being a Navy Seal, Stephen Paddock is a retired accountant senior citizen with a gambling problem and a flabby physique. The only way he could have carried out this shooting is if he were transformed into a human superweapon through a magic wand. I’m calling this “Mission IMPOSSIBLE” because of the physical impossibility of a retired, untrained senior citizen pulling this off.

#7 Why was one woman telling people in the crowd that they were all going to die 45 minutes before the attack?

#8 Why did it take law enforcement authorities 72 minutes to get into Stephen Paddock’s hotel room?

#9 Why did Paddock wire $100,000 to the Philippines last week?

#10 Why was Paddock’s girlfriend, Marilou Danley, in the Philippines when the attack took place?  Did she know what was about to happen?

#11 Was Paddock on antidepressants like so many other mass killers in the past have been?

#12 Why was ISIS so eager to take responsibility for this attack, and why was the FBI so quick to dismiss that connection?

#13 Apparently Paddock had earned millions of dollars “through real estate deals”.  If he was so wealthy, why would he all of a sudden snap like that?

#14 Why did he move so frequently?  It is being reported that Paddock had 27 different residences during his adult life.

#15 Why were nearly all of the exits out of the concert venue completely blocked?…

In essence, the concert trapped the people, preventing them from escaping, and denying them the ability to seek cover. From there, sustained, full-auto gunfire is almost impossible to survive.

From Fox News, a caller named Russell Bleck, who survived the shooting, said live on air, “There were ten-foot walls blocking us in. We couldn’t escape. It was just a massacre. We had nowhere to go.”

#16 Why was a country music festival chosen as the target?  Was the goal to kill as many Trump supporters and other conservatives as possible?  And is there evidence that Stephen Paddock was connected to Antifa in any way?

At first I thought that this was a fairly straightforward story too, but the more I have dug into it the more complex things have become.

Personally, I have come to the conclusion that Stephen Paddock definitely did not act alone.  That means that the others involved in the shooting are still out there, and they must be brought to justice.  Let us never forget what these extremely wicked individuals did to innocent civilians such as 27-year-old Tina Frost

A 27-year-old woman has lost her right eye after a bullet ripped through her face during the Las Vegas concert massacre.

Tina Frost remains in a coma in hospital after undergoing surgery to remove the bullet that became lodged in her eye when a gunman opened fire on the crowd of country music fans on Sunday night.

Frost, who is originally from Maryland but moved to California several years ago, is expected to remain in the coma for a week.

Whoever did this is going to pay greatly.  Yes, I do believe that Stephen Paddock was involved.  But he did not act alone, and the mainstream media is doing the public a great disservice by ignoring all of the evidence that this was not just a “lone wolf” operation.

First, we need to have this discussion,
Five white conservative cops executed during a peaceful BLM march in
Dallas. Lone wolf no explanation ever given. Conservative white
congressman shot during baseball game. Lone wolf no explanation ever
given. Now ~600 white conservatives shot by lone wolf during country
music festival in Las Vegas. No explanation given. There's a lot more
going on here than our very corrupt government wants to admit.
And now they want to disarm the evil conservatives?

Stick to economics Michael Snyder. This blog used to be great when it focused 95% of it's time on markets, finance, and economics. Now it's just killing time by posting every bat shit crazy "theory" people have.

Dr. Engali's picture

Why are you still here then?

Conspiritards crack me up. Always unnecessarily overcomplicating things. The world is a random place but they can always figure it out, lol.

Idiot. It's all connected but you're too much of a coward to recognize terrorism is big business.

Flankspeed60's picture

You got it Jim. I've NEVER seen so much ignorance smoked out of the woodwork by a single event, incl. 9/11.  Just make up your own facts and become an instant ballistics and forensic science pundit. Didn't realize how many Einsteins were on ZH.

nightshiftsucks's picture

Wow lots of paid trolls here, we must be winning

slwsnowman40's picture

6.  Those weapons aren't nearly as complicated as you are making them out to seem.  It isn't like he was sniping them off, that would take considerable skill.  It doesn't take skill to hit the side of a barn.

chestergimli's picture

Why doesn't law enforcement just compare all the bullets in victims to the guns fund in Mr. Paddocks room to see if there are any matches.

youngman's picture

Hold on...the truth will come out soon.....they have to study each bullet that came out of the bodies to see what gun it came from..if they all came from Paddocks guns...then its over...no more theories of more gunmen.....and they are doing that 24/7 right now....I am sure the police had checked out the 4th floor and have found nothing.....it was just a reflection....and the sounds....echos

Beowulf55's picture

Yeah right.........just like when the FBI took fingerprints on the weapons used at Sandy Hook....not.

bobsmith5's picture

None, not one of the authorities can be trusted by us in order to understand this event. We have to rely on evidence presented on the internet by direct witnesses, videos from cell phones which then is analyzed by independent news, forensic, and military experts in those fields.

equity_momo's picture

I want the Deep State to investigate and give me answers on the Deep States illegal-operation.  Yes , im sure they will get right on that.

The honest truth is , expecting a yes/no to any question surrounding such conspiratorial events is never ever going to happen. Look at the 9-11 commission. How stupid are people to think on the one hand the Deep State can do something like that and on the other go ahead and expose themselves after the fact.

All we can do is keep exposing contradictions , impossibilities and glitches in the Matrix so more people wake up. No one is going to hold your hand and give you a nice little explanation to any of this shit , draw your own conclusions from looking at evidence presented.

Idaho potato head's picture

I'm sure you believe the Warren report still, right?

Grandad Grumps's picture

Bullshit. Show us the list of people who were killed or hurt so that we can check out the story. Right now, I see no evidence that anyone was shot.

NoWayJose's picture

I saw one ‘wounded’ survivor hug his brother - both looked fine. Saw another ‘wounded’ survivor in a hotel bed with a blanket covering her feet but otherwise looked fine.

Grandad Grumps's picture

There are personal videos from the concert with people saying it does not look like anyone was hit.

Show us a list of dead and wounded people's names so that the independent media can investigate and confirm or deny the mainstream bullshit.

With 9/11 there were names and family members in the news all the time. Then things changed. They stopped actually killing people because it caused people to never let it go. If no one dies, then no one cares about the numbers. Look at the Pulse Nightclub, virtually forgotten... and Andrew Napolitano said that no one died until the morning when swat entered... likely killing the loose end patsy.

Hemiskull's picture

Anderson Coopers has been interview spouses of the 'dead'. Nothing but bullshit and giggles. Not a tear shed

Grandad Grumps's picture

So there is a full list of names to check out? Or is this more Sandy Hook nonsense where the family membersvare fake?

Posted this in the other tread but it's such good info, I think a repost is warranted:

Another one:  Why are there no melted, charred, or burned spots on the carpet?  If you put several hundred rounds through a weapon in an "automatic rifle" manner - whether OEM or "bump-stock" - the barrel is going to get very hot.  And when it gets hot, the brass gets just as hot.

I've seen brass from an M60 make cloth tarps smolder and melt plastic ones.  And I've seen hot brass from an M249 take two layers of skin off someone.  I'm assuming that carpet is mostly nylon - so there should be melted spots where much of that loose brass is laying.

Also, firing in excess of 500 to 1000 rounds inside a small room like that is going to create a great deal of smoke, oil residue, powder residue, and just gunge...  Other than the brass, the weapons, and that guy's brain fluid and blood - it looks very clean in there.

Col_Sanders's picture

And one other thing:

One witness (http://abcnews.go.com/US/las-vegas-concertgoer-helps-wounded-best-friend...) reported his friend was "shot three times."

For a bump-fire rifle, from 525 meters, at that down angle, three rounds into one individual is nearly a statistical impossibility - hell it would be the same with an OEM automatic rifle.  The rate of fire, coupled with the inaccuracy at that distance would have bullets spraying everywhere - no two or three consecutive rounds anywhere near each other. No way.

If they say he got hit three *separate* times over the course of the ten minutes of shooting - then he would be the unluckiest man on the planet considering the odds of that happening.

F em all but 6's picture

YES!!!! I said the exact same thing to my wife who refused to get it. Try to hit a target like that on full auto at that distance would take super human skill. What are the odds? One in 20 billion?

Col_Sanders's picture

Well - hitting people on spray-and-pray?  Sure...  You can and would hit a lot of folks with 22K of them packed into that small area.

But hitting one of those people three times? Consecutively?

Not statistically possible.

Do I believe there were guns fired and people died and were wounded?  Yes.

Do I believe he was in that room in that hotel?  Yes.

Do I believe guns were fired from that room?  Maybe - but I would have to see more pics.

Do I believe he fired them?  Maybe (see above).

Do I believe he was the only shooter?  This is not possible.

This op was way too precise and way too well planned to have been carried out by one sixty-three year old, out of shape, millionare real estate guy.  Whoever did this knew about opsec, overlapping fields of fire, talking guns, and using the panic and confusion to cover their escape.  The shooting only lasted 11 minutes.  The panic lasted nearly an hour...

My guess is that he's a patsy.  It seems as though he was estranged from his family and had a pattern of going to Vegas and gambling so it would be easy to keep track of him and know he was going to be there and when.  Align his schedule with a concert or festival and there you go...

Who was he a patsy for?  I don't know.

equity_momo's picture

He made a great patsy as a lone-wolf type as someone that lived in the area and frequently went gambling in the big casion hotels.

Hard to plan an event like this around someone who had never been there or wasnt a regular visitor. He was the perfect rube.

This tells me they wanted it to not be about "terrorism" but about gun control.   If they wanted to cause a mass-shooter or mass-murder event there are plenty easier ways to do that - just hire a liver eater from the ME then put it down to ISIS. Theres thousands we have trained to be proficient mercs who would willingly die for a chance to do what happened on Sunday.

If this guy wanted to go out with a bang and kill a bunch of Trump supporters he could have flown one of his planes packed with dynamite straight into that festival.

"mainstream media is doing the public a great disservice by ignoring all of the evidence"

Obviously the author of this piece does not read "mainstream media". None of his many points are ignored by mainstream media. Some serious journalist wait for plausible answers to many unanswered question, but refrain from speculating wildly like the author.

bobsmith5's picture

This author is not speculating. His analysis is based upon considerable evidence. It is you who needs to do more research before you make such uninformed comments at this point. The mainstream media is an absolute farce in the face of the massive evidence on the internet and the massive number of people taking that evidence and piecing together very plausible scenarios.

GassedUpOldMan's picture

A lot of these questions can come down to "it's an ongoing investigation", but that doesn't matter to you. You only want to blame the government for more shit for some reason.

I hate the government too, but sometimes people just go mental and snap.
It happens.

GassedUpOldMan's picture

#1 It is an ongoing investigation, right now that note is in the hands of whomever is handling the case. Perhaps it is still being reviewed.

#2 No.

#3 At the time of the event, a lot of misinformation was being spread - bombers, suspects in cars, the shooter being on the festival grounds, etc.

#4 Here, I do not believe you are telling the truth.

#5 It's a fucking hotel in the middle of Vegas. They're huge, people going in and out with suitcases and luggage bags all day. It's not like the bellboys rummage through your bags, they aren't the TSA.

#6 His brother, apparently, was wrong. Paddock's house was found full of firearms and equipment for preparing explosives.

#7 Good question. Could be anything - coincidence, maybe she was crazy, who knows? Maybe we'll find evidence of this mystery woman existing, perhaps even a photo, video, or interview.

#8 Good question. Probably the red tape and deployment time, as well as accurately identifying the location of the shooter. Police are losers anyway, should be replaced with private law enforcement. First good question.

#9 Either he'd been planning this months in advance and wanted to give his Asian "girlfriend" what could've been left of his money - or maybe she called and asked for more. Who knows?

#10 She's Filipino. Perhaps that explains why she was in the Philippines.

#11 Likely. Second good question.

#12 Because ISIS will claim responsibility for anything they possibly can that will advance their cause of starting drama and spreading fear throughout the west.

#13 Anyone can snap, at any time. Most people blow their own brains out before they can kill anyone else, though. Money doesn't bring complacency.

#14 Unhappy, perhaps? Maybe his money and asian girlfriend didn't bring him any fulfillment, so he kept moving around, looking for that which he was missing. I suppose he didn't find it.

#15 It's a festival. You don't want people who haven't paid coming in, and you want to make sure people coming out don't go somewhere they're not supposed to. I've worked festival security before, and there's always one way in, and one way out.

#16 What a pathetic question. You should be embarrassed to try and blame a shooting on a political group you despise for no other reason than right-wing virtue signalling. Would you take responsibility if he were a libertarian?

Hope Copy's picture

2ND SHOOTER:  Professionals would remove the entire window and replace it if they has a pasty.  This is not rocket science.  The cyclic rate of fire is of a relative consistently, as that of belt fed MGs (4-6rounds), including the slowing and increasing fire.  Note-able is that the fire has a consistency that in a bumpfire will not yield (will change in 1-2 rounds) in the slowing and increasing rate of fire, especially on the long busts.

The amount of weapons is so much over kill that it kills the native even for an unstable man.  That many guns at the hotel and house is so far out there one would think this guy wouldn't have much time for gambling, BATF should have been paying him a visit (Government failure)

This has all the hallmarks of the mad libtard neocon agenda that has constantly been relying of far fetched extreme concepts and warped situations twisting and turning to spin with omissions, fabrications and lies, as witnessed in statements by their front persons in the UN Assembly.

mc888's picture

Professionals would remove the entire window and replace it

Yes. And if they had authorization from the CEO of the hotel owner, they could just have maintenance do it for them.

James Murren, CEO of MGM Grand, who donated shareholder funds to Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood, also sits on the National Infrastructure Advisory Council for DHS.

It would also be easy to transport large amounts of equipment past hotel surveillance, to multiple rooms, for 'special guests' of the CEO.

FAKE. no one hurt no one died

JailBanksters's picture

The event happened, people did get hit and died.

The real culprits are probably back at langley having a beer.

JailBanksters's picture

I'd imagine the suspects body has already been cremated

and all hotels video memory sticks have already been recycled into new memory sticks

and all the shells are on their way to japan to be recycled in wires for your new toyotas.

This is another one where the more questions get answered, the questions get raised.

It looks like the Media are printing exactly what the Government wants them to write,

Lee Harvey Passock was the Lone Gunman on L32, and he's dead now.

OutaTime43's picture

The Navy Seal guy is vastly overexagerating the skill needed to fire an AR-15 with a bump stock.  Any idiot can pick up a weapon, stick a magazine in and fire into a group of 20,000 people and hit over 500 . Also, its likely he accumulated these weapons over months if not years. You don't think he might have practiced? Only abouit half of these questions have any real merit.

JailBanksters's picture

They were acting like sheep, safety in numbers and not moving.

You could just spray bullets anywhere and hit somebody. The herd mentality made it really easy.

"#1 Photos of Stephen Paddock’s hotel room have been leaked, and one of those photos appears to show a suicide note. Why hasn’t the public been told what is in that note?"

I mean...it's been what? 2 days since this happened.  It's still an active investigation.  I think it's unfair for us to expect to get every detail of the investigation in real-time.   They should be working to figure this out, not wasting time telling the media every detail so that everyone who eats these disgusting stories up and adds absolutely nothing to the investigation, can get every little detail to satisfy their appetite.

Redneck Makin-tosh's picture

What part of the investigation needs to remain secret if the sole perpetrator has already been caught and cannot be tried?

Dutch1206's picture

I'm not saying it needs to remain a secret.  What I'm saying is that there's no need for the general public to get every detail in real-time.  Whether you find out what's in that note tomorrow or 6 months from now...will it make a shred of difference?  No.  So why waste time making sure the general public is aware of every aspect of the investigation as it occurs.  There's absolutely no rational need for that.

And besides.  The only people that really need this information are the families of the deceased.  Not every tinfoil hat model trying to piece together a conspiracy theory.

mjcarr51's picture

These people want to see what's in the note now.

They want to see victims covered in blood.

Redneck Makin-tosh's picture

On the contrary, there is no rational need to deny it.

Besides, dragging out the release of information - or worse providing disinfomation - constitutes an unnecessary exageration of the violation of the bereaved.

Pigeon's picture

To not let on if there are co-conspirators. And to make sure what the announce as facts are correct.

Redneck Makin-tosh's picture

If there are believed to be co conspirators then the bloke is not the sole perpetrator as claimed.

Its a question of trust/ competence not a horror movie where the objective is to escalate the tension points throughout the narrative.

Pigeon's picture

Right. And what better way to help put the minds of possible co-conspirators at ease than to lie about what information LE has, or what it is doing?

Hold your trust issues for a few more days. Let's see what happens.

Redneck Makin-tosh's picture

What better way to imply/ cover up corruption or incompetence than for LE to lie about what information it has or what it is doing?
