White House Says Trump's "Calm Before The Storm" Comment Is "Extremely Serious"

Tyler Durden's picture

Following President Trump's "calm before the storm" comments last night, reporters tried to ask him once again what he meant today, to which he responded "you'll see." However, during The White House Press Briefing, Sarah Sanders replied to questions suggesting the President's comments were "extremely serious," however without offering an explanation.

When asked if Trump was referring to military action when he said "calm before the storm." Sarah Sanders replied "We're never going to say in advance what the president's going to do. You'll have to wait and see."

Then, in a follow up question "how seriously should America's public or America's adversaries take these comments", the White House press secretary said "I think you can take the president protecting the American people always extremely seriously. He's been very clear that that's his number one priority."

Earlier in the day, Trump continued the cryptic mystery: shortly after signing a manufacturing executive order, a reporter asked what he meant when he said that a gathering of military leaders at the White House the evening before was "the calm before the storm," U.S. President Donald Trump did not elaborate, and said again, "You'll find out."

And then he winked.

"Trump IS the false prophet"

Yeah, what ever happened to that Market crash Trump predicted last year, telling people it was time to get out? Now he takes credit for how high it has gone.

Anyone who actually listened to the guy would recognise him as the Honey Tongued Deciever from the Bible. But you all thought nothing was worse than Clinton. How wrong you were.

If what you say is faithful and true, then it will be confirmed by every single person in the bosom of Christ.

Only those who are lost will be unable to see the man of perdition for who he is.

That vega chick is some package if you overlook what's between the ears.

Still, with the right kind of "prodding", she could be turned.

It's possible. I'm not a religious individual, but if I'm to indulge in this sort of thing, I would say Kushner fits the bill more than Trump.

You are just now realising this? Shame really.

A bit of mixup in the communications department, a.k.a The Ministry of Truth ..

In original form, it was A National Day of Manufactured Bullshit ..

Its really not a joke - Chinese wages have skyrocketed which is why many Chinese tech manufacturing giants will have plants in the US. Its already happening. You realize how much they will save on shipping costs? A shit ton. So many smart yet very ignorant people on ZH.

SeaMonkeys's picture

I don't think readers understand the absurdity of National Manufacturing Day. They think when you say things like this, you are a communist. I know you are not, but they don't. Please unpack it for people.

Before breaking it to the public one needs to be aware of the problem.

Problem: Anxiety. Too much negativeness.

The Las Vegas shooter is a ‘loner’ while nationalism is the ‘mass’ appeal of great examples of irrational/negativeness thoughts. Some brains under stress starts lacking critical thought to overcome these irrational/negativeness thoughts.

But why now?

Here’ the best answer. It’s by Mark Lambert: Its always there in a democracy its just a matter of what is popular, as a society becomes divided due to inequality the right increases and so the politicians swing right to get elected or right wing politicians become more popular, the left see this as populism when it is just normal politics. Democracies only work when the population are thinking logically and positively once thought becomes anxiety based then they begin to fail, they slide right and the end result is a military government. Many can see this now but have no idea how to fix the problem it begins with understanding anxiety and then treating it in self, metacognition may be the answer an ability to turn off anxiety we will see.

Do you have a setting other than Hate? You're a tiresome whiny brat. So ypical of the Alt Left: our policies have wrecked everything and we have no idea what to do, but we sure hate Trump. Go stand in the corner until you can get your brain working again.

Trump is much more than an instigator.

You do not get to own a 757 because you are a nice guy.

Quite the opposite.

Typical Lefty hate mongering. You clowns have turned over every sock in Trump's underwear drawer and he comes out squeaky clean every time. But instead of acknowledging how wrong you've been and reforming yourselves, you just double down on the vicious speculation and hate. Give it a rest. No one cares what you think anymore.

Where does this quote about Trump hitting gold balls into a neighbors house come from?

You source it from yourself, but never validate it.

I, hedgeless_horseman, being of sound mind and body, do hereby validate that I wrote this on the interwebz, and that it is not fake news.

Gold balls? Hmmmmm, maybe Trump is a PM bug . . .

I'll bet those balls put some serious dents into his neighbor's clapboards.

A passive-aggressive mode, rather than an active-aggressive mode are examples of typical Feminine and Masculine behaviors in a competitive or threat environment.

A.  When Trump is able to do so with impunity, he acts with active behavior (hire, fire).

B.  When there is risk of unacceptable consequences, or Trump is unable to act as he wishes, he goes into passive-aggressive behavior. This includes provocative remarks (in person, or in tweets).

I've noticed this time and again. You can thus infer from his behavior and communication, if Trump is able to act as he wants to, or not.

Such power is intoxicating. Very few wouldn't be which is why the power of big government needs to be reduced so small that it no longer attracts the psychos we call politicians.

Instagator? He's a hell of a son of a bitch. My main concern when voting in this circus was to just not see the bitch win. Anything he can do to at least slap the socialist/marxists is fine with me. Fuck the bitch and the golf ball I want to see what the  "Calm before the storm" and somethig "Extremly Serious" is about.

I prefer the old fashioned "shit stirrer".

When he wants something, in a situation he can't control, he alternates between braggart and

whiner in that grating NYC accent.I saw it firsthand as a site super building next to Mar a Lago.

We used to get a LOT of free beer delivered every Friday afternoon after that.

So are the Americans.

So is the American government.

So is the American political system.

After all, the dollar is a private money.

Just as plan by the founding fathers.

Of course Donald is a Jew.  There's no way an actual Christian can have his sons and daughters convert to Judaism and he just sits back and is cool with that like Donald is.

You are going to work with relatives who not only deny Christ, but have converted to the Synagogue of Satan aka Phariseeism?  Lol hell naw

Escrava Isaura's picture

So how do you square that with those evangelics that voted for Trump? Are they that stupid to vote for Satan believing they were voting for a savior?

Mustafa Kemal's picture

"So how do you square that with those evangelics that voted for Trump? "

The evangelics are part of what brought us Israel. It is part of their apocolyptic vision. Unfortunately, they may indeed get their wish.

Escrava Isaura's picture

You mean, the evangelicals are the muscle?

Father ¢hristmas's picture

Uh, yeah.  Evangelicals are the same idiots who believe you must support Israel at all costs in order to be blessed, when true Orthodox members of the Synagogue of Satan are opposed to there even being a state of Israel before the Beast of Rev- cough!  Errr, I mean, the Jewish Messiah arrives to rule the world.

opport.knocks's picture

His actual religious faith, if he has any (which i doubt), is irrelevant.

He has clearly been owned by the practitioners of "Money Power", at least since his early connections to Roy Cohn. So whatever he does, it will be in their interests.

The problem with calling them Jews, is that it is an insult to true religiously observant Jews and it allows them to play the anti-semite card, even though they are not semites either. They should simply be called what they are: "Money Parasites".

He's saying the Trumps from the Lutheran vollage of Kallstadt, Bavaria and the MacLeods from the (extremely) Protestant island of Lewis in Scotland are Jews.

This is despite the fact that they Donald's parents married at the Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church in January 1936 and both are interred in a Lutheran cenetery in Queens.

Donalds mother's maiden name was Mary Anne MacLeod, or Màiri Anna NicLeòid in Scottish Gaelic, from the island of Lewis in Scotland.

The island of Lewis is dominated by pretty radical Calvinist (aka Lutheran/Protestant) 'free churches'.

Frederick Trump, Fred's father was born in Kallstadt, Bavaria, which is Lutheran - most of Bavaria by contrast  is Catholic. Frederick Trump's wife was also from Kallstadt and was named Elisabeth Christ.

Melania was baptized a Catholic by her family in Slovenia.

This should give some sort of clue, you might think.

Jew is not a lineage . Do Irish Gypsies have a particular DNA , different than other Irish , or just more defined do to generations of inbreeding within a small group ? .Claiming to ascribe to a " belief system " , generation after generation , does not qualify as a " race " .
