Betrayal! The Pervasive & Defining Crime Of Our Age

Tyler Durden's picture

Authored by Chris Martenson via PeakProsperity.com,

Let me apologize in advance for what may be an upsetting piece of writing for some of you. If you're in a state of shock or exhaustion from recent events, perhaps you should skip this one.

I don't offer this analysis in order to further distress anyone -- but until you understand what is happening and how that influences your psychological state, you'll remain the emotional equivalent of a rag doll shaken to-and-fro by events.

Such understanding may not bring you to a place of calm acceptance. But it will set you free.

Betrayal

The recent acts of violence in the US, especially the horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas, are not arising out of a vacuum. Nor are the Brexit vote, the election of Trump, or the recent Catalonian vote for secession, random unconnected acts.

These -- and future similarly disruptive events sure to come -- are all arising out of the fact that we all have been betrayed.

For the purposes of this article, let's define betrayal as:

the sense of being harmed by the intentional actions of a trusted person or institution. The emotional impacts of betrayal may include shock, a sense of loss, grief, damaged self-esteem, humiliation, self-doubt, shame, and anger.

We're betrayed every time our trust is violated, in small ways or large. An example of a small betrayal might be hiding a frivolous purchase from your partner when you've both agreed to stick to a shared budget. A larger betrayal would be infidelity.

But betrayals aren't limited to relationships between individuals. They can be perpetrated across groups, even nations. Like the enormous betrayal of trust committed when the US sent its military into Iraq on the basis of falsified ‘intelligence'.

No matter the perpetrator, size and scope of a betrayal, the parties involved are only able to heal the damage done if there's an open and honest dialog where the betrayer admits to their violations and atones openly and honestly. As discussed in much more detail in our excellent podcast with an experienced cognitive therapist, the betrayer must fully atone for their actions, face all consequences, and openly answer every question posed to them by the aggrieved.

If none of that happens, then then the animosity festers and is never ‘gotten over.’ Time does not heal that wound. It only offers a swampy breeding ground for a swarm of resentments.

In other words, if you find yourself increasingly distressed or angry (as I am) about the rampant violations of public trust in today's world, it’s because you're paying attention. It means you're not crazy; you're normal.

Betrayal Of The Public Trust

In the US, politicians deservedly enjoy a very low approval rating. Their words so rarely match their actions that it’s a too rare delight to find someone of character and conscience in DC.

Instead, we regularly see dirt bags like this:

This congressman is why people hate politics

Oct 4, 2017

Washington (CNN)

Pennsylvania Rep. Tim Murphy has had one hell of a last month.

In early September, the Republican House member admitted to an extramarital affair with a "personal friend"following the unsealing of divorce records that showed he had been involved in a relationship with Shannon Edwards, a forensic psychologist.

It got much, much worse on Tuesday when the Post-Gazette reported on a text message exchange between Edwards and Murphy in which she alleges he urged her to have an abortion.

Murphy's personal foibles are not the point here. What is the point is that he is someone who has been an outspoken critic of abortion rights in his public life even while apparently being much more willing to consider it when it impacts him personally.

Murphy was a co-sponsor of legislation --passed in the House on Tuesday night-- that would make it illegal for women to abort a baby after the 20-week mark.

He has a perfect 100% score with National Right to Life, having voted with the organization on five key pieces of legislation, including the "No Taxpayer Funding for Abortions Act." As my former Washington Post colleague Aaron Blake expertly documents, Murphy was also touting his anti-abortion stance even as he was reportedly urging his mistress to seek an abortion.

(Source)

A sordid tale indeed. The essence of which is a powerful politician saying one thing but doing another. He loudly espoused strong family values and a staunch right-to-life voting record -- all while conducting an extra-marital affair and pressuring his mistress to get an abortion.

For the constituents who believed in this man, his deeds offer a profound betrayal.

Tim Murphy represents the credo that the politicians in The Swamp live by: Do as we say, not as we do.

There are so many examples of prominent politicians and religious leaders saying one thing but doing nearly the exact opposite that one hardly knows how to begin listing them all.

Heck, even "America's Dad", Bill Cosby, has turned out to be a serial rapist.

All these betrayals have led to a rule I now live by: The more someone proclaims a strong moral position, the more I suspect them of secretly doing the opposite.

It’s time to refuse to put up with this any longer.

Institutionally Betrayed

But the scope of our victimization goes far beyond that conducted by individuals. The very institutions, both public and private, that we rely on are often fleecing us more than serving us.

The betrayals of the Catholic Church in covering up thousands of sexual assaults and tens of thousands of child victims are absolutely devastating.

Pharmaceutical companies quietly fund opposition to medical marijuana ballot initiatives because the data shows that the use of safe and effective marijuana seriously cuts into the extremely profitable sales of highly addictive and deadly opiates.

Car insurance companies rob their most loyal customers by slowly ratcheting up premiums in a scheme called “price optimization” in the industry. (This happened to me because I had not taken the time to shop around recently. I was horrified when I did. I wasn’t as badly screwed as some customers who paying up to 800% more than they should, but it still hurt.)

Of course hospitals with their captive hostage billing rackets are among the worst of the worst. So are private for-profit prisons, indecipherable 48-page phone bills, and Monsanto ghost writing “research” to obscure the probable cancer causing nature of Round Up while certain EPA staffers looked the other way.

In short, it’s difficult to have any sort of optimism about any large US corporations at this point. All of them are busy betraying us in ways large and small, every day, ranging from being evasive about the degree to which they snoop into our private affairs, to the ways in which they limit our access to the free flow of information by altering the results of popular online search algorithms.

In such an environment of pervasive betrayal, it’s difficult to maintain any sense of trust.

It turns out the best strategy is to trust nobody. Especially not a corporation with a large enough staff to segment their actions into enough ‘silos of deniability’, where no one person feels directly culpable for placing profits over people. “Hey Bill, as an exercise, why don’t you run an analysis that shows how many customers we might lose if we steadily increase their insurance rates, and then I’ll run it by legal and accounting…”

It’s time to refuse to put up with this any longer.

Sovereign Betrayal

The behavior of nations is no better on this front.

For example, in response to the highly-democratic Catalan referendum for independence, the EU bureaucracy has been busy betraying any commitments it had to protecting and advancing democracy. The EU Commission First Vice President said this:

STRASBOURG —The Spanish government’s “proportionate use of force” in Catalonia was necessary to uphold the rule of law, the European Commission declared on Wednesday.

As the European Parliament opened a debate on the Catalonia crisis, Commission First Vice President Frans Timmermans sided unequivocally with the Madrid government.

“None of us want to see violence in our societies,” Timmermans went on. “However it is a duty for any government to uphold the law, and this sometimes does require the proportionate use of force.”

(Source)

"Proportionate use of force?"

Wow. That's an amazing perversion of language. Most of you have seen the pictures of peaceful people being ruthlessly clubbed by Spanish police -- simply because they exercised their right to vote. Here's a graphic video of a woman's fingers being methodically and cruelly broken as she lay on her back barely resisting (only watch it if you have a strong stomach).

Police broke my fingers one by one and touched my breasts

A woman dragged out of a polling station in Barcelona by police broke down in tears today as she claimed they had broken her fingers 'one by one' and sexually assaulted her while they laughed.

Marta Torrecillas was filmed being violently removed from a school in the city's upmarket Eixample area as Catalonia voted for independence yesterday.

The clip, captured at Paul Claris School, showed her being manhandled as she tried to walk past officers in full body armour on a day when footage of police brutality sparked outrage around the world.

Her dress was forced up around her thighs - leaving her exposed and humiliated - as she was dragged down towards the exit. She later claimed officers had touched her breasts and broken her fingers 'deliberately, one by one'.

(Source)

Her crime? Thinking she had the right to peacefully cast a vote. For that she was brutally assaulted, as were hundreds of other people. To which the EU VP merely said “it is a duty of any government to uphold the law.”

Remember, it was the EU that voted to sanction and then bomb Libya because of concerns that Qaddafi was persecuting civilians (despite virtually no evidence this was the case) .

When your own government protects other people (as a pretext for violent regime change) but persecutes you, it is nothing short of a massive betrayal. Remember, anger, resentment, and humiliation are extremely difficult to ‘get over.’

It’s time to refuse to put up with this any longer.

Betrayal By The Elites

Here in October 2017, the stock and bond markets are in melt-up mode. This is a gigantic theft -- a deliberate transfer of wealth to those who already hold financial assets. The 1% is getting richer and richer while everybody without an already-significant pile of financial assets to their name languishes.

The central banks know exactly what they are doing and why. Stoking a massive boom in financial assets is benefiting their member banks, the ruling classes, the industry titans who fete them at swanky events like Davos, and the rich members of Congress.

Of course, this unfair wealth transfer is a massive betrayal of everybody who needs to save their hard-earned income for the future.

The central banks have vastly reduced the purchasing power of newly-earned money, making assets twice (or more) as expensive as they were just five years ago.  Anyone looking to buy a home, invest in a stock, or purchase a car, clearly can see this.

That’s inflation in every sense of the word. Inflation destroys wealth; it doesn't grow it.

Here are a few simple questions to frame things.

  • Would you rather receive 2% on a ten-year bond or 6%?
  • Would you rather get 1 share of a given stock or 2 for the same amount of money?
  • Would you rather get a dividend yield of 1.5% or 3%?

Obviously, you’d rather get more than less in every case. You’d take two instead of one for the same money whenever you could.

But the Federal Reserve has decided, using deeply flawed reasoning and no historical perspective, that simply jamming up the value of financial assets for those who already hold them is the best course of action.

Are you one of those who needs to save up for retirement? Tough luck. The Fed has decided you're the loser in this story. You've been betrayed.

It’s time to refuse to put up with this any longer.

Generational Betrayal

One of the very worst forms of betrayal is that levied against an entire generation.

Today, we're saddling young people with poor job prospects, high student debts, impossibly expensive housing stock, and a crumbling national infrastructure. All while asking them to shoulder the costs of the older generations underfunded entitlement and pension programs.

The statement to young people is clear: “We don’t care about you. We only care about us.”

It's reprehensible. But that’s what massive betrayals are.

To just focus on housing in the US (and let’s be clear, housing is just as bad a situation in London, Stockholm, and a hundred other cities across the globe), the Federal Reserve has made higher home prices a specific policy goal. Its truly idiotic theory was that higher home prices make people feel richer, and that such people will borrow against the equity in their homes to spend more.

The reason this is idiotic is that a house that costs twice as much isn’t twice as valuable. As the market price goes up, the square footage and amenities remain exactly the same. The only real difference is that your property taxes and insurance costs have climbed, too. So in actuality,  it's an even larger money drain than before.

Because assets generate cash flow and liabilities consume cash flow, it’s best to think of your primary residence as a liability and not an asset. But few people do that during a housing bubble like the one we're in now. Just remember that all gains are speculative -- they only matter if you're able to sell the house and invest the profits elsewhere. Otherwise, your "gains" can easily evaporate with the next market downturn.

The charts below show the astronomical prices homebuyer are faced with today. Here's the national price index, which has propelled above it's previous bubble high (remember: the bubble the triggered the Great Financial Crisis?):

(Source)

The view from a regional level often looks even more grim. Here's what homebuyers in Dallas are experiencing:

Ouch!

Sorry next generation, the boomers driving the Federal Reserve's policy have decided that you are expendable pawns. To protect their advantage, the older generation has decided to eat its young.

In other words, you’ve been betrayed.

It’s time to refuse to put up with this any longer.

In Part 2: Fighting Back -- A Call To Action, we detail the agency that we as individuals have in this story, to throw off the shackles of our victimhood and secure a prosperous future as protected as possible from the clutches of the betrayers. The betrayals will only come more fast and furious from here. This is expected. Dying systems with failing narratives are always messy and become increasingly desperate in their actions. Geesh, the doom porn gets deep sometimes.

Look, Betrayal has been around since Eve and an apple. Heck, one of her kids was a murderer. What's a bigger betrayal than that? But Chris is in the doom business and so he writes doom porn.

Here's a news flash: The world has always had wickedness. It's just the way it rolls. It also has great empathy, great kindness and an astonishing amount of love capped by random acts of kindness.

Nature tends to be balanced. There is yin to the yang. Not all at once, not universally, and certainly not distributed in what anyone looking at it would judge to be just portions. But cosmically speaking, it all works out.

have the boomers been particularly shitty about being stewards of what they are leaving their descendents? It depends on which boomers you're looking at. If the millenials can ever stop playing their video games and trying to post their lives on social media, they might wake up and get pissed off. But first they have to turn off the tv long enough to read some post by a guy writitng doom porn.

The author tried to drive a wedge between boomers and the younger generation. BOTH have been screwed.

America is trending toward more of a "low-trust" society. Evil may have always existed, but the proportion of evil has grown and the trend accelerating.

The entire system us flawed.  An economic system that is reliant upon gambling for survival and a fractional reserve banking system charging interest to sovereign nations is a self destructive system.

Changing the actors in the play will not change the ending.

It's time for Congress and Trump to put up or shut up.

.If America has a capitalistic economy, we must really suck at creating capital with a $21 trillion national debt and $500 billion trade deficit in 2016! Where is the capital?!

Wake up and drink the coffee! Smelling it doesn't work!
This is not capitalism! This is Mussolini style debt financed militaristic bankism!

Lying about history and reality does not change history or reality, it only changes the person who is lying , and for the worst! Hillary Clinton is a walking example of this!

Congress must be charged and held accountable for power crimes! All laws which they have passed in violation of the Bill of Rights and laws exempting themselves from accountability!

We need a ballot initiative to repeal the 11th amendment so that nothing like this ever happens again!

The fucking monsters essentially nullified the first ten amendments, and rely on the 11th making them accountable to nobody!

11th amendment:

"The Judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another State, or by Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State."

The central banking third-way, triangulation strategy of the neocons and neoliberals,  is to unite the country ( and the world ) around perpetual war, the anhialation of the Bill of Rights and the constitution, globalist free-trade policies in a race to the bottom, pitting US workers against those earning $2 a day, through a  central banking debt financed money supply which enslaves virtually everyone in the world with only a few notable exceptions, North Korea and Venezuela who have rejected privately owned Central banks!  The false flag against communism and socialism is nothing more than that, with communist China and socialist EU countries to varying degrees as proof! We must do the opposite! We outnumber them on a scale of 1,000 / 1!

Unite the sane and independent center! Commit to not choosing sides in the neoconservative / neoliberal civil war !
Don't take it to the streets! Take it to the internet! Legislation has never been changed as a result of people protesting with signs!

Don't be a useful idiot that elevates the establishment's two party system!

Both parties have destroyed the Bill of Rights and both parties are war mongering treasonous tyrrants!

This strategy could destroy the two parties which have  destroyed America!

Americans should unite around issues that we can all agree upon. These issues are all ignored by the establishment elites of the neocons and neoliberals.

1.We must repeal the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and abolish the Federal Reserve. Congress must resume its responsibility and coin money and regulate its value as granted to Congress in Article 1 Section 8 Clause 5 of the constitution.

The fundamental flaw in main stream economics is that it begins by accepting  the validity of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913, the IMF, BIS,  and World Bank which are all part of the privately owned banking cartel charging interest to sovereign nations which is nothing more than a bank tax on citizens for which they have no right to claim, therefore making it a circular argument based on a logical fallacy!

If we continue down the yellow brick road of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and privately owned international central banking cartel:

1.)We will destroy the economy  when we  reduce the national debt,  because the money supply is based on debt.

2.) There will  be an endless boom bust cycle because when the banks issue loans, they create money in the equivalent of the principal of the loan, but do not create the money required to pay the interest on the loan, leaving a shortfall in the money supply of the interest payments required.

3.) We will go deeper into debt or destroy the economy because the only central bank solutions are  to issue more debt or destroy the economy.

If Congress were to resume its responsibility as stipulated in Article 1 Section 8 Clause 5 of the constitution and coin money and regulate its value debt free, and if other nations would do the same:

1,) The budget would automatically balance.

2.) There would be no need for income taxes, estate taxes, capital gains taxes, and corporate taxes.

3.) There would be no need to reduce spending.

The rise of cryptocurrencies has litigated and won the case before the world, precisely how easy it is to get rid of the central banks!

I prefer cash, which would not use the gold standard because history has proven that every time that it has been implemented,  most of it ends up in the hands of a few wealthy families, and it and they destroy the nation!

During the middle ages in England, King Henry 1st implemented the tally system and the bankers and goldsmiths did not control the economy, the average man provided everything necessary for his family by working 16 weeks a year! The rest of the time was spent learning, traveling,  on the arts, and volunteering for the church!

2.The military should be used for defending our borders. We should close the 698 permanent foreign military bases and 400 temporary military bases. Our international meddling is jeopardizing national and international security, human life, and economic prosperity. We should retract from all war on foreign soil.

Watch "Rage Against The Machine - Bulls on Parade" on YouTube

3. The prison industrial complex and the war on drugs must end. It is a horrific human rights abuse and is completely unacceptable.

4. All laws which violate the Bill of Rights must be immediately repealed. The NDAA, The Patriot Act, HR6393, The American Freedom Act are all grotesque unconstitutional violations of the 4th amendment.

5. Freedom of speech and of the press , and  the right to assemble, must be protected.

The government has removed the common thread that wove the fabric of our nation, our liberty, in a futile attempt to take the heat off of them, where it rightfully belongs, and to incite civil war, leaving corruption as usual in charge!

Those arguing for increased decentralization must be criminals wishing to escape justice since they continue their circular logic argument despite the overwhelming evidence that increased decentralization would lead to increased tyranny, corruption, and income inequality. My guess is that they are involved in pimping, human trafficking, illegal porn, illegal medical experimentation, and blackmail.

People continue to argue for treasonous decentralization and the anhialation of the constitution, despite the overwhelming evidence that decentralization in absolutely no way guarantees benevolence, efficiency, or freedom. He has failed to provide a single example of success. It happened during the French revolution, and has resulted in absolute failure virtually everywhere else.

In America we have a centralized federal government,  and decentralized state and local governments. If you hate tyranny and a government accountable to nobody, just wait until someone with absolute power over you is within miles of your residence!

In the decentralized process,:

1.) 25 cities have committed to 100 % renewable energy.

2.) California has decided  to imprison any healthcare worker for not referring to a patient by the patients gender orientation, whether it is a biological contradiction, or not, and for refusing to let a patient share a room with the sex of the gender of their gender identity choice.

3.) Oregon, Colorado, and California have legalized marijuana, and other states have legalized some forms for medical purposes.

4.) New York City has decided to offer free college to its residents.

5) Vermont has a single payer health plan.

6.) Rick Scott of Florida has decided to drug test all food stamp recipients, benefiting his friend's drug testing company.

7.) Michigan governor Rick Schneider decided to place local communities under receivership and appoint politicians and remove elected officials from theirs, and decided to save money by poisoning residents with lead poisoned Flynt River water.

8.) The Army Corps of engineers had warned the governor and mayor of New Orleans a decade prior to Katrina that the levees wouldn't hold. Louisiana received federal funding for repairing the levees, which they had decided to spend on other things.

9.) Sherrif Joe Arpaio had a fetish for Mexican men in pink underwear, so he decided to imprison Mexican men clad in pink underwear to gratify  his kinky fetish.

11.) 46 states have installed microwave weapon technology in cell phone towers to be used against law abiding citizens for the purposes of stealing their money and to weed out political dissidents and those whom they consider to be undesirable. Only an undesirable would not be dissenting against the policies enacted by this fascist government!

Let's just decentralize banking, war, corporations, education, and global governance.

We can all acknowledge that the constitution currently exists in theory and not in practice, yet, it is still deemed the law of the land, and all who violate it are guilty of treason.

I am absolutely sure that the overwhelming majority of Americans would like to see stronger enforcement of the constitution as opposed to completely abolishing it!

Total decentralization would be the final coup de grace to any belief that we are entitled to the liberties afforded to us in the Bill of Rights.

Korea decentralized. Germany decentralized. Charles Hugh Smith wrote an excellent essay on the Fall of Rome, and the consequences of Rome's decentralization.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2017-09-21/embrace-suck-debt-serdom-and-ou...

11 mayors were recently charged with pedophilia by the FBI.

Decentralization could lead to enslavement by local governments, refusal by local governments to let their residents leave the city or state, civil war between local communities over natural resources, walling ports or cities off and preventing the transport of required items and matetials critical for survival or export.

What's up Doc?!
Medical spending accounts for 18% of GDP, 12 % of GDP spending is totally wasted in a medical establishment free for all that is killing tens of thousands of Americans each year!

Everyone knows that the medical community is first and foremost and also for most, a snake venom racket that profiteers off of the misfortunes of others!

2/3 of prescription drug spending is spent on psychiatric drugs ! Not only have they been proven not to work,  they make the underlying psychiatric ailment worse, and also cause extremely dangerous and costly health problems! 20% of patients use 80 % of the medical benefits! These drugs have been proven to  lead to obesity, diabetes,  heart disease, chronic pain,  and many other severe and frequently life threatening health risks such as the potentially fatal neuroleptic malignant syndrome. Atypical antipsychotics have also been proven to increase obsessive compulsive behavior including compulsive gambling and substance abuse. There is zero incentive for anyone in America to discuss this because they are all making trillions off of it!

Under stress, the brain activates the fight or flight response. Since we live in a fascist society which has the worst human rights abuse record on the planet, the majority of people opt for mental flight. They stay where they are, but mentally check out through the use of drugs and alcohol!

All treatment centers rely on 12 step programs that have a 6% success rate, effectively showing a 0% success rate since 5% simply quit on their own without treatment, this is a  statistically insignificant increase in recovery success in contrast to no treatment. These programs have high suicide rates and add to the increased depression and alienation of those who question the "wisdom " of Bill Wilson!

Since treatment centers make $12,000 to $50,000 for treatment, they are highly content with the revolving door policy of alcoholics and addicts relapsing and returning!

The problem with 12 step recovery programs is that they are fascist in nature, increasing the fight or flight response and subsequently,  relapse.

The 12 steps in and of themselves are excellent, but the Big Book which members place above the bible is completely insane and new comers whose lives have been turned into shambles are told that everything is exactly as God intended it. If that is the case, I guess that if they drink or use drugs, that is God's intention,  so why even bother going to AA? The newcomers  are also mentally assaulted if they reject the flawed ideology. They say the serenity prayer, but only believe that they are supposed to accept all of the injustices of the world and have been brainwashed into believing that they cannot change people, places, or things. If you have ever cleaned a house, or have done any gardening,  you know that is a lie! If you have ever had a discussion with someone, and either your own mind, or theirs was changed as a result of the information exchanged,  you know that is a lie! If you have ever read anything, or written anything and had your own mind changed by what you have read, or changed someone elses mind by what you have written, you know that is a lie! They expect you to have a sponsor who has ruined their own life, micro-manage yours!

They say that politics cannot be discussed, even though the 12 traditions only say that the GROUP  does not endorse or oppose any causes! All issues are political. It is not merely talk of individual politicians that they forbid, they prefer a world view that blocks out everything except their own connection to it, essentially denying the existence and reality of almost the entire world.

It is my hope that treatment centers, 12 step program central offices and groups will do a serious 4th step so that they are no longer exacerbating the situation in light of this national crisis!

Profiteering drug dealers AKA big pharma prevent the cost effective, medically effective alternative of marijuana, CBD and THC preferring to charge people $475,000 to treat cancer! "More recently, scientists reported that THC and other cannabinoids such as CBD slow growth and/or cause death in certain types of cancer cells growing in lab dishes. Some animal studies also suggest certain cannabinoids may slow growth and reduce spread of some forms of cancer. There have been some early clinical trials of cannabinoids in treating cancer in humans and more studies are planned. While the studies so far have shown that cannabinoids can be safe in treating cancer, they do not show that they help control or cure the disease."

The carbon argument against fossil fuels is an establishment argument that was originally drafted for the purposes of Wall Street to capitalize off of reducing pollution through trading carbon credits, that thankfully failed.

I oppose the Paris Accord and carbon trading because the Paris agreement will actually increase pollution because it allows developing nations to continue increasing pollution and fines developed nations for not reducing pollution and also expects developed nations to pay for the transition of developing nations, prior to our own transition.

Theodore Roosevelt,  Barry Goldwater,  and Richard Nixon were all environments. T.R. started the national parks system,  and Richard Nixon started the EPA.  Stepping back into toxic sludge is not revolutionary, it's stupid.

We also must add $1 trillion a year to the $359,500,000,000 that we spent on oil in 2016 for the cost of the wars, just  for starters! Also add the cost of clean-up for over 220 oil spills and 66 railcar explosions, the earthquakes caused by fracking, and the enormous quantities of our most vital,  scarce, and precious resource, water required for fracking.

There is no safe form of nuclear energy and there never will be. Safe nuclear energy is a physical impossibility. Once the process of nuclear fission begins, it cannot be stopped, unless there is an explosion or nuclear meltdown in a nuclear chain reaction that occurs. The nuclear waste must be fed like a monster. It is done so in the reprocessing of spent nuclear fuel. New metals are added in attempt to weaken the radioactive levels, and to cool It with moltent metals!  It is the equivaent of trying to walk up the down escalator going at 75 miles per hour.movie,It is my belief that the 50's sci-f The Blob was actually about nuclear waste.

The Hanford nuclear plant is undergoing heat decay in the process of a nuclear meltdown in a nuclear chain reaction which will eventually result in a nuclear explosion. Using nuclear waste for nuclear energy production also creates more nuclear waste.

Cold fusion is not safe either. It is an outright lie that it is. The nuclear reactors are called breeder reactors because they breed radioactive material in the process of nuclear fission. The waste is not burned in the process. Large quantities of radio active tritium are released into the atmosphere.

The shooter was an auditor who passed security clearance and worked at Lockheed Martin for thirty years. Hardly the image of an unstable man.

Ironically, the concert was called The Life is Beautiful concert.

https://lifeisbeautiful.com/news

The shooter was a multi millionaire who had moved multiple times over the past decade.

I am guessing, based on his history that he was a victim of gang stalking and was a targeted individual, for the purpose of Banks and the local government to steal his money. I am also going out on a limb, by guessing that every time that he had bad luck, that he was receiving Life is Beautiful advertisements.

For those who regard that list as having been "too long," there is no doubt that such a list could have gone on and on for trillions of pages, since pretty well every human being is being BETRAYED in almost every possible way by governments which have become runaway criminal insanities!

I made it through most of your mostly spot on rant. Particularly the Fed Res rant. After giving our situation much thought (decades) on what could we do to change our present course I've come to a novel simple solution - Learning and explaining to our young the difference between a well constituted republican form of government and a democracy. Democracy, the vehicle used to usurp our right as guaranteed under Article IV Sec 4 p4 of our Supreme Law of the Land to a "republican form of govt." I'm convinced that most serving in our Fed and State govt could not explain the difference between a well constituted republic and a democracy. In the late '20s and '30s, if you watch old movies, it certainly appears a concerted effort was made at every opportunity to work in the "democracy" mantra with their brand new form of propaganda... movies. When I was young, under 10 anyway, my mother mentioned we were supposed to have a republican form of govt not a democracy.

What is happening in CA, NY and other States that openly violating Article IV Sec 4, the squashing of our liberties protected under our republican form of govt, believe that they have a State right under Amendment XX and thru democracy to openly violate the federal Law of the Land without nary a peep from the Feds because, "We're a democracy".

I honest believe that young and old alike, once presented with the choice between a well constituted republican govt and a democracy, any rational non-ideological (Marxist) or other big government collectivist, would chose the former.

Ask the people in your circle of influence if they know the difference? Can they explain the difference? I'm convinced it is not taught in elementary schools, the formative years, anymore. It may not seem like much, teaching the difference, but it is something everyone can do in their sphere of influence and move on from there. Without a basic understanding of this difference between a well constituted republican form of govt and democracy everything else is futile and destined to be repeated as democracy will always be used to usurp the rights of half the people as we see happening now and in the past. The treasonous bastards have literally taken our natural law and written protections and turned them on their head. Democracy, the vehicle used to usurp the well constituted govt of the US.

Thanks for your rant and thx for reading. I'd not seen the Helter Skelter vid.

Thank you very much. I appreciate that you took the time to read my admittedly lengthy post, I felt that somebody has to say these things, which are not being covered, on purpose!

I've heard Republican leaders make your argument, and I would guess that that is where you are coming from.

Since it is coming from any politician, that ought to be a red flag warning that it is a misrepresentation of the facts.

We in fact have a constitutional republic with a democratic form of government.

Prety damn well writtten piece. Will it change anything? Of course not. The only thing that is going to change anything is when the US navy is charged with the task of rounding up the millionaires and billionaires on their floating 'cities', and ensure they are brought to justice.

I imagine that in a year or two, perhaps less, pictures of Washington are going to look more like Col. Kurtz's enclave (Apocalyse Now), than a captial city of anything.

Who exactly is "us"?

The bankers are to blame.   The corporations are to blame.   The politicians are to blame.   In short:  persons who have reached positions of power and influence are to blame.    Ordinary citizens - "us" - are the ones getting screwed.

Most of us are not to blame.   Most of us are the betrayed.

I note the last sentence:  "To protect their advantage, the older generation has decided to eat it's young."   This is errant nonesense.   The ordinary people of every generation have all been lied to.   Older people may be in better shape financially than some younger generations right now, but I don't think, as a group, that they were instrumental in setting out to cause the distressing financial situation in which many younger people find themselves.   They didn't, for example, personally steal the social security funds, they didn't offshore jobs and hollow out our industry.   These things, and more, have been done in the DC swamp and by Wall Street and by our big corporations.   The older generation is going to get mauled very badly as pension funds tank.    If they saved for their retirement they can get no interest on their savings.   Medicare is being eroded and inflation will hit them hard.

Pitting generations one against the other serves the agenda of our government, but it does not serve the people of any generation.

This is a good line though: "The more someone proclaims a strong moral position, the more I suspect them of secretly doing the opposite."
