"The System Needs A Death-Wish Coffee-Enema!"

Tyler Durden's picture

Authored by James Howard Kunstler via Kunstler.com,

What America might want to know right now is: how come Hillary Clinton doesn’t have any legal problems?

Why aren’t DOJ investigators examining the financial records of the Clinton Foundation? You would think somebody would want to find out how over $120 million of Russian “charitable donations” ended up on its ledgers around the time that Secretary of State HRC approved the Uranium One deal — compared to which, Bill Clinton’s $500,000 payment from a Russian bank for giving a speech around the same time just looks like walking-around money.

This is not to mention (well, I will) the flow of donations from Saudi Arabia pending approval of a major arms deal by HRC.

Or of myriad other donations from foreign nationals tendered simply for face-time with the Secretary. Has any other cabinet officer in US history run a money-gathering org while serving? I don’t think so. Maybe the arrant selling of influence right out-front strains the credulity of government auditors. And while we’re at this, I would like to know how then-FBI director Robert Mueller and President Obama might have been informed about these activities. Or not?

Mr. Mueller also needs to answer about his relationship with former FBI director James Comey — he was apparently Mr. Comey’s mentor — while Mr. Comey needs to answer for his peculiar and probably lawless behavior in dismissing the investigation around HRC’s private email server — that was not his decision to make — and the notorious meeting at the Phoenix airport of former president Bill Clinton and Attorney General Loretta Lynch around the same time the email investigation under Mr. Comey came to a head.

Now comes the news from Donna Brazille, on-again-off-again Democrat Party chair, that the primary elections were elaborately rigged by HRC functionaries to buy control of her nomination.

Let’s not even go into the bidding for the Christopher Steele “dossier” alleging kinky sexual romps in Moscow by Donald Trump, or the activities in Ukraine of Tony Podesta’s DC lobbying company — that’s Tony, brother of John Podesta, Clinton campaign chief, whose emails remain a truffle cache for the rooting dogs of the DOJ, if they were actually on-the-task.

I write this as a still-registered Democrat myself — though I consider myself their enemy now, yet hardly a Trump partisan.

Are there any like me out there who would like to see both parties tossed onto the garbage barge of history? Of course, to say that also means throwing out a cargo of terrible ideas and beliefs, not just two clown cars of personalities. Identity politics, zero interest rate policy, American Exceptionalism, endless debt, nation-building in foreign lands, FASB-157, sanctuary cities, Title IX coercion, racketeering in health care and higher ed, market interventions, ambiguous borders… is just some of the cargo that needs to be dumped overboard with both parties.

Watergate begins to look as quaint and simple as a game of Chutes and Ladders compared to RussiaGate. Not only are both parties implicated one way or another in multiple nefarious schemes, plots, and intrigues, but the Department of Justice and its subsidiary, the FBI, look culpable in a range of cover-ups and mis-directions. If the DOJ becomes disabled, how does any of this get resolved?

The whole extravaganza is heading toward a constitutional crisis that might clean out the system like a Death Wish coffee enema. Sentiment may arise for Mr. Mueller to step aside, if President Trump doesn’t make the rash decision to simply fire him. The latter would certainly foment a constitutional crisis that could include an effort to run Trump over with the 25th amendment. In the event, we’ll be in a new kind of civil war.

"how come Hillary Clinton doesn’t have any legal problems?"

Yep, that has to be the most "pregnant" question of the century!

Automatic Choke's picture

I have become an optimist recently.

I am convinced that this level of corruption has always existed.....the only reason it is so visible is the immediacy of the internet, which gives whistleblowers a voice that they never had before.   The absolute clamping down on information that used to be controlled by the networks is gone.   We feel fractured, partisan, and polarized, but that is because we are all awakening to the absolute shit that comprise our government.

Yes, give it the coffee enema, but this is all good.   Forward!

I imagine Hill and Bill left the WH with detailed files and dirt on other presidents and government officials.

She is likely a poison pill to bring ANY charges against.

fattail's picture

There was probably some juicy tidbits in those 900 FBI files on the most important people in the world found at the clinton whitehouse. For those of you too young to remember.

That's why there are pedos and rapists everywhere.  The compromised criminals were left in place so they could be counted on to do as they were told.  98% incumbent re-election rate makes that easy.  That's part of the reason for the histeria around trump.  Not that he's going to drain the swamp with his gaggle of goldman stooges, he's the first evidence of an electoral overthrow of the oligarchy.  The rampant conspiracy theories are another indication the public no longer trusts the narrative fed by the oligarchy's corporate media accomplices.  They are losing power, and the more they lose they more they will thrash around.

What they need is another pearl harbor like event to get all americans to join together and rally around the flag.

They will have to do a better job of rigging the election next time.

Regarding the coffee enema:  Don't forget the donuts!

fattail's picture

That's an excellent point that I haven't thought about.  It was always there, but we were in an information vacuum.

I disagree with your thesis. Corruption has gone parabolic, much like a debt train out of control. I do not believe in coincidence although I observe parallels between the two. The long steady grind of fiat lies and the lying opportunists that peddle all the magic snake oil has grown exponentially, giving whole new meaning to , money for nothing and dicks for free. Rome did not self destruct, devalue all at once, overnight. This former republic hasn't either ..

Public service, is self service. There were times in the brief history that this was not always true. I would also say, the Clinton Global Grifting Initiative, and Clinton criminality sanctioned within the Obama adminstration, a high water mark of lawless corruption. The attempted deflection towards Trump, no choir boy to be sure, is melting down as we write.

We are coming to the climax

waspwench's picture

That is what we all want to know.

How come this criminal traitor is still walking around a free woman?

Donald, we are waiting for you to lock her up.

Oldwood's picture

We see destruction all around us. We argue and complain and assign blame for each and every mess we see. We watch as our moral compass spins like a top, no bearing, no foundation, no true north to be found. And every bit of it flows from corruption. We reviled Hillary for she and Bill's many offenses, but don't need to look far to see others as worse if not less successful in plying their "skills".

We are led to believe that this is all symptomatic of social decline....and it is, but not of some natural evolutionary cyclical decline. It is deliberate. It is orchestrated. It is for cause, like so many of our manufactured crises procured and unwasted.

We had better wake the fuck up. This is not natural, evolutionary or inevitable. This is coerced and coordinated collapse. Bitcoin, our next great Ponzi, is bit another indicator of our common thread....loss of confidence, demoralization. The endless, senseless, fruitless wars we engage ate not just for power or money. For certain that is what is used to enable it, but what it is for is the destruction of respect and confidence in our military, just as the Bergdahl decision today only reinforces the sense of those now and in the future serving, that there is no respect for them, that their combined lives are not worth ten thousand dollars, that they can be sentenced to prison for striking an officer but get nothing for abandoning their post and deserting...a sentence imposed by a MILITARY judge.

The shit we see in government, from choom president to screamer in Chief, and the MASSIVE corruption visible to all, and is burning it to the ground. Deliberately.

Coffee enema’s saved my life. Keep that liver clear

shovelhead's picture

If an enema is clearing out your liver you got big problems in the connection dept.

IronForge's picture

That's how the Enemas work.

Caffeine from the Enema goes directly to the Liver, triggering a Blood Cleansing Reaction.

Gerson's Thesis was that certain forms of Cancer were by products of a toxic,  unhealthy body; and the body's own cleansing and immune systems may contribute to rid itself of Cancerous Cells.

Much more Research is needed; but we seem to see such resistance by the Industries to look into the matter.

Guess making money- even if it results in an avoidable Death - appear to be the driving factor for USA's Medical Model.

Parasitic/Parasitoidal Indeed.

When JHK begins promoting the neocon agenda by including the cartoonist Ramirez, then I know that all hope is lost.

Cloud9.5's picture

I find it refreshing that a dyed in the wool democrat is calling Hillary out.  That is a great awakening if there ever was one.  The second great awakening will come about once Kunstler realizes that had Hillary won, this shit would never have seen the light of day.

Regardless of what Kunstler thinks of Trump, he is the people’s wreaking ball.  It’s taken a while but the Clinton Crime Syndicate appears to be crumbling.

You can't 'FIX' it.. like any 'beast', you have to kill it, unless it's in the process of doing that all by itself, which is what Russia and China are hoping happens, and soon.... but history tells us that these empires, or Axis of Evil don't go down without a fight to their death, and ours if we don't defend ourselves.

What's equally amazing - THE RUSSIANS STILL OWN URANIUM 1!

Uranium One is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ROSATOM, the Russian State Corporation for Nuclear Energy. Uranium One is responsible for ROSATOM’s uranium production outside the Russian Federation and is the world’s fourth-largest uranium producer.

serotonindumptruck's picture

So, North American sourced uranium is now being extracted and refined for use in the most recently constructed Russian-built nuclear power plants in Iran?

Why would anyone have a problem with this?

Oldwood's picture

Maybe because it is a strategic resource and we are net importers of uranium. Might not be a good idea to sell that resource to a competitor who will sell it cheap and deplete it even faster, or go the opposite direction and restrict supply and access forcing our costs up. Money is the primary weapon of war.

serotonindumptruck's picture

These types of shady and sketchy deals are the primary reason why I sincerely believe that our elected officials represent a globalist ideology.

The insanely wealthy billionaires of the world don't identify with a speciifc nationality.

They are "globalists", and antiquated concepts such as Patriotism and National Identity are relegated to the proletarians and Little People, who might otherwise concern themselves with such trite and ridiculous issues.

If anyone sincerely believes that their elected representatives speak for them, due to the awesome and fear-inspiring action of going to the voting booth and voting for the lessor of two evils, then they are delusional and they deserve everything that's coming.

Oldwood's picture

I do believe that some representatives intend to do the right thing, but the swamp converts or destroys them. I think that was the attraction to Trump, that he was not tainted by the process, had some idealism that wouldn't fade too quickly, and was irreverent to the powers that be. But other than hard core ideologues, I think most understand what we are up against, and Trump nor ANYONE who achieves office, will save us. THAT is OUR job.

serotonindumptruck's picture

Newly elected representatives may have the best of intentions for their constiuents, but as you correctly point out, they are all easily corrupted by the Status Quo.

There is another aspect to the role of an elected official in these United States of America.

Most of the junior Congress Critters learn very quickly that if they "rock the boat" or otherwise vote "against the grain" with the majority in Congress, then the very real threat of political assassination can become an immediate concern.

If you could ask Paul Wellstone and his family what they might have done wrong, they would no doubt tell you the unvarnished Truth.

indygo55's picture

Cuz they ain't the ones making tons of dough doing it.

Koba the Dread's picture

I have no trouble with it at all. Until proven otherwise (Hello! Mr. Sessions!), Russia bought its position in the Uranium company fair and square, the company shipped uranium ore to Russia fair and square and Russia has a business contract to build reactors in Iran and stock them with uranium.

Once you disabuse yourself of the Deep State propaganda that Russia is bad and that Iran is evil (and I heartily urge you to do just that), then the only pointed fingers should be at Hilary and Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and others who pushed the deal through.

Keep your eye on the ball! Russia isn't the problem. Iran isn't the problem. North Korea isn't the problem. The problem is the total corruption of the US government and it's various propaganda media (propaganda media means all media outlets--including from time to time, ZH).

Keep your eye on the ball! Don't be distracted! Distraction is what the corrupt US government specializes in.

Oh, look! A squirrel!

System is Cult of Personality Lead by 1st Obama, 2nd by Hilary... some reforming going on now in both RINOs & DINOs.

Who is next Leader? Will Hollywood or PAC be able to corriograph US General Leadership as a Cult?

- they will try
- they have money
- they have money networks
- the money networks are basically "Rich or Wealthy"
- Why do US Voters follow the Corporate Powers, Wealthy Powers, Elite Powers, and give up Voting Powers?

JH Kunstler seems a bit naive.  "Still a registered Democrat...".

I have bought Dan Hopsicker's "Barry and the Boys" ahead of the Hollywood release of "Mena" which is described in the Guardian as

"Cruise will play Louisiana-born smuggler Adler B Seal, known as Barry, in the biopic Mena, set in the 1980s and directed by Doug Liman,...Seal was a Medellín pilot who operated out of Mena, Arkansas, between 1976 and 1984, transporting cannabis, cocaine and later quaaludes from South America to the US. He was arrested in 1984 and began working for the US Drug Enforcement Administration to avoid jail time. Seal was shot dead in 1986 at a safe house in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, by Colombian hitmen working for the cartel."

Hopsicker's book, published in 2001 after several year's research, tells a different story.  Seal was a lifer in the CIA, and trained with one Lee Harvy Oswald.  He was involved in everything from the Bay of Pigs, the Kennedy assassination, Iran-Contra, Bill Clinton and tons of cocaine smuggling through Mena, Arkansas.  He died in a hail of bullets with George W. Bush's telephone number in his pocket.

The book is available on Amazon at the eye-watering price of approx $500.  I got it on Abe Books for 80 something.  Somebody does not want you to read it.

Newsbud did an interview with Hopsicker recently.  Eyeopening.
