Aircraft Carrier Enterprise Sets Off On Final Journey - Direction Iran
Today at noon Eastern, the storied aircraft carrier Enterprise, aka CVN-65, left its home port of Naval Station Norfolk one final time for its final voyage with a heading: Arabian Sea, aka Iran. There in a week it will join CVN 72 Lincoln and CVN 70 Vinson, as well as LHD 8 Makin Island, all of which are supporting any potential escalation of "hostilities" in the Persian Gulf region. As a reminder, back in January we learned that the Enterprise's final voyage will be in proximity to Iran, and in the meantime, the aircraft carrier held extended drills off the Florida coast to attack a "faux theocracy" consisting of fundamentalist "Shahida" states. Why the Arabian Sea in about 7-10 days will be home to not two but three aircraft carriers and a big deck amphibious warfare ship is very much an open question, although we may have some thoughts.

Thousands of sailors will deploy today from Norfolk on the USS Enterprise for the last time on Sunday.
Nearly 5,500 Sailors aboard the ships of the Enterprise Carrier Strike Group (ENT CSG) are scheduled to deploy from Naval Stations Norfolk and Mayport, Fla., March 9, 11 and 12, to support operations with the U.S. Navys 5th and 6th Fleets.
The aircraft carrier USS Enterprise (CVN 65), commanded by Capt. William C. Hamilton Jr., will depart from Naval Station Norfolk for the ships 22nd and final deployment March 11.
CVN 65 will not be alone:
After the Enterprise leaves Sunday, three Norfolk-based guided-missile destroyers will head out Monday — the USS Porter, USS Nitze and USS James E. Williams.
The strike group is commanded by Rear Adm. Ted Carter Jr.
Carrier Air Wing 1, based at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, will be embarked aboard the Enterprise.
The Enterprise was launched September 24, 1960, by Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Co. and commissioned November 25, 1961.
Its record of high-profile service began with the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962. Since then, it has served in countless missions around the world.

I did 4 years in the chAir Force after 9/11. I'm man enough to admit I was duped. There's some good people in the military. There's also a lot of Omega males pretending to be Alpha males. just paid a re-visit to that post, to see what was actually written. . . while I wasn't specific, planets did mark an event, eh. I don't think in terms of "predictions" - I leave that to those who believe they can - but I do watch patterns, and charts, and pay attention. . . there are so many variables at play, and the way I understand "astrology" is that events happen "to" entities with co-responding aspects - so it's not so easy to accurately predict a when & where (with individuals it is easier to isolate events, as you have a natal chart to work from) in global events, as which charts would one apply to?
still, we do know that "they" are prone to use specific calendar days as *dog whistles* to each other, to pay attention, to reward, to frighten, etc. - watching those days, which are old "holy" days for any number of belief systems, recycled, co-opted, etc. - we can anticipate events sometimes, but predict? who knows. . .
and, with that being said, last year had some important days, and shifts, for many globally. . . I believe the U.S. strategy of sanctions and threats is to try and provoke an Arab spring event in Iran a la 2009. Given that this strategy seems like it will obvious fail, I think America will end up with egg on its face, as everything else seems off limits. They can't start a war, especially now China and Pakistan have hinted at offering support to Iran! America is too overstretched, too deeply in debt, etc. Israel is too cowardly to do it without American support.
There are two wildcards:
1/ Paul Krugman. Yes, the people in Washington may be so desperate for better economic numbers that they will be willing to start a war in the name of aggregate demand.
2/ The PNAC people. America's primacy is fading, so Washington may choose to gamble and stake its future on one final push to smash Eurasia beneath Washington's will, in a desperate attempt to retain petrodollar supremacy. I heard a report on BBC earlier this morning talking about the solider that went into a bunch of Afgan civilian's homes and started firing - the knob went on and on about how much stress our troops are under and how this poor fellow obviously had some sort of a break down. He went on to express how this might damage the image of our troops in the eyes of the folks they are liberating. Other than the body count no mention of the people who were killed and whether they were men, women and/or children.

I can't help but wonder if this incident is related to the current Iran debacle. It will, of course, get plenty of coverage in the Iranian media and stir up the Iranians that want war too. Cui bono? Who would benefit from such a horrible act?
