And In The Category For Biggest Conspiracy Theory We Have....
Two and a half years after consistently and methodically exposing one conspiracy after another (and by the way, once it is proven to be a fact, it is no longer a conspiracy), we were stunned to find that the biggest conspiracy theory is none other than... Zero Hedge. "Zero Hedge, for example, is one that lots of hedge funds look at, lots of money managers look at, and the guy that runs it has their ear. Now I'm not saying that he is not doing his own proprietary work, but, people like to plant stories in there. [cue ominous silence]." TA DUN DUN.
Gee - one does learn something new every day.
And now, back to planting malicious rumors and vile, incorrect stories of ponzi schemes, broken markets, deranged vacuum tubes, plundered tungsten bars, BLS data manipulation, collapsing Nielsen ratings, hyperinflationary obsessive-compulsive printing habits, global central planner intervention and what not.
Also, to anyone who still doesn't get it, please send your dodecatuple secret "plant" stories to plant@zerohedge[.]com along with your payment made in physical gold Zimbabwean dollars, to be delivered to our paper street headquarters. We certainly would prefer it if the drop man is Bank of America's James Mahoney.

You are going about it all wrong. That isn't how it works.. you got to get some cred by laying low at first and picking your spots...
But first and foremost, just make sure you really know what you are talking about....
And you, haven't shown a fucking thing yet...
Remember, you ain't a troll if you are right and can defend it...
Edit: Oh yeah, got to work on that avatar... If I may suggest, Pete Townsend in a Union Jack ensemble....
If you are REALLY trying to provide a counterpoint, then you should probably use facts rather than ad hominem. The fact is, you have done NOTHING but make broad generalizations with ZERO facts to back them up.
If you want to be in Fight Club, you can't just stick your hands in your pockets and say that you're winning while you are getting the tar beaten out of you. Surely you can see why you haven't been taken seriously?
Taking a position contrary to the truth, and contrary to reality itself, is hardly a "balanced perspective". That lame argument is so stale already, the mold has stopped growing on it. And just like the troll whom I strongly suspect that you are, you come in here from the get-go offering nothing more than sweeping and hateful generalizations.
As another poster in another recent thread stated so eloquently, it is not differing opinions that elicit hostility here, only disingenuous bullshit and lies. And you clearly already fall into the latter camp, so I suggest you depart from where you are not welcome.
Coming in here with guns blazing at the entire audience is hardly going to earn you any friends, nor respect, so please fuck off --- tmosley and I can both smell a malicious troll a mile away, and you sir are quite stinky.
"Taking a position contrary to the truth, and contrary to reality itself, is hardly a 'balanced perspective'."
True. But it misses the point, which is: what is the truth? Always a worthy question, if posed sincerely. And maybe the guy in question is not sincere; that's a different matter.
Hmmm, no contrary opinions on ZH? Have you seen the fight club mess that goes down in the comments here? Contrary opinion is always welcome here, but you better have the balls to defend yourself. Thats the way it works here. Also, if you've been reading ZH for years you'll know that stirring things up will result in accusations of being a new troll or a reincarnated one. If someone is calling you a troll, you probably said something to deserve it. Thats whats great about ZH, someone will ALWAYS blast your opinion at some point. Keeps you on your toes and makes you think the issues through.
No contrary opinions? Ha! Wait'll he sees what happens when Tyler posts anything with the word "Israel" in the title.
The latest Rothschilde thread doesn't count... After all everyone one hates the bankers...
Ok, it is not quite Isreal in the title, but you catch my drift....
"...and actually have a CONTRARY opinion for once, ..."
If you had been reading the articles and comments here for ages, you would know better than to make such a patently false statement.
There have been numerous contrarian viewpoints expressed with intelligence, insight and facts since before I joined. As ZH has gained in popularity the "trend" unfortunately has been a marked increase in people like yourself who appear, make noise about how they are right & everyone else is an idiot, and then disappear because they are contributing nothing of value & not receiving the attention they so desperately crave.
barliman
troll
then what the fuck are you doing here? go post on CNBC website, they need the ratings and the followers and you seem to be their target audience.
Go to where you are needed rather than stay where you are just fuckin annoying.
Firstly I'm british, hence the name, so I don't tend to follow American news sites. Secondly, I'm here because I want to voice my opinion.
We have zero problem with you as a person. Your style of writing that everyone here is stupid but you keep posting anyway is asking for it. And I repeat, you are British and have no recollection of devaluations? The name SOROS mean anything to you? Negative?
Okay then, tell us if you support: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fabianism
By their works shall ye know them!
Stop bugging us. We can make up our own fucking minds about ZH & TD. Go try to bullshit somebody else.
how could they not mention mr bove the bumbling fool?
Tyler, can you plant a story to crush silver back to mid teens? please?
Silver $5 bucks and Gold $100 an oz.?
PLEASE!?
PRETTY PLEASE!?!
PRETTY PLEASE WIFF SUGGA ON TOP!?!?!?
I will donate 1lb for every 10lbs I buy??
I have not watched CNBS for a long time so I apologize for just noticing...
But is everyone on FM long AAPL? (stupid question I know)
Now we know where all those iPad sales are going. The iPads all look a little silly on the set. (cue lightning bolts from Cupertino in 5, 4, 3...
AND I THOUGHT FOR A MOMENT I WOULD FIND OUT WHO IS BEHIND THE ZEROHEDGE VEIL!
FEMA Camps for Zerohedge mothafuckaz! Lock and load!
The Wackenhut/G4S bus will be by your house in 3, 2, 1....knock, knock.
Oh yeah? Well read this, hedgecocks - I hope you burn in hyperinflationary hell.
Seconded, and if Hedge Funds ARE reading this that would explain some of the junkings that reasonable folks who propose or point out issues effecting the average person receive.
I will say this, I like Hedge Funds quite a bit better than banks.
How can CNBS (or anyone) even claim that BoA is solvent? It is only blatant accounting gimmickry like suspending mark to market that is keeping them from bankruptcy.
When the financial system collapses, I expect these talking heads will find some way to put more lipstick on the pig...
These people (more like robots) have little or nothing left inside - they are hollow, programmed thought dispensers trying to manipulate their dwindling audience into behaving how their masters want them to behave...
The thought police have arrived.
There's a difference between thought and bullshit.
Unfortunately, these "Thought Police" are completely thoughtless!
btw, is fast money not a blog without thought?
With no way for anyone to post comments, the mu-minds (mu == the permittivity of space in a vacuum!) can only hear the echoes of what they're speaking to each other. How useful is that?
Keep your guard up Tyler.
...and CNBS just solidified (with their ramblings) the CMBS meltdown for BoA (and other 'banks')
yep. as Shakespeare once wrote: "Methinks the lady doth protest too much."
ZH IS EVIL NOW. That means they are right more often than they are wrong.
Obviously some people aren't reading the disclaimer.
Fast Money, bitchez
As in, you lose your money (fast) by following their advice.
lol
hahaha
Fast money as in financial debauchery. Debauchery. I like that word.
This IS the best blogsite out there. No one can put it into words like ZH. Tyler....your the MAN
"people like to plant stories in there"
the problem is that most of the stories are proven corect
Time after time.
Track record bitchez!!!
Its like planting a tree. If you're an arborator, you probably know your tree species. If you plant a seedling you've positively identified from both seed and sprout and then it starts growing in the soil... is it still the same tree?
It takes a while for these idiot commentators/journalists to understand that the arborator is the expert about trees and they're just getting schooled. They can't tell the difference between a blade of grass, a weed, or the tree seedling.
If you plant a tree in the desert and no one is watching, would the tree still grow?
Only if Bernanke is doing the planting and continually helicopter dropping freshly printed and still soggy bills on it continually. It will grow until Bernank's helicopter runs out of oil due to lack of countries accepting the Bernank Bucks.
I think he's the only one stupid enough to even attempt such a plan.
If a woman is in a forest and nobody is there to see or hear her, is she still angry?
"people like to plant stories in there"
Well, well, as far as the FM show at CNBS goes, I for once took the time to watch the whole piece and even went to the lengths of reading the disclaimer:
The show participants’ opinions are based upon information they consider reliable, but neither CNBC, nor its affiliates and/or subsidiaries, nor the companies with which such participants are affiliated, warrant its completeness or accuracy, and it should not be relied upon as such.
And that's about as far as CNBC’s own due diligence goes. Not even the companies with which the participants are affiliated are willing to be held responsible for any of the info provided by these talking heads should the info lead to criminal investigation for whatever reason.
Bottom line:
"We at CNBC can and will never be held accountable for the crap we spout, while we pretend to be well-informed and unbiased"
Money stuff pays the bills but the really cool stuff was the chopper shots over Fukushima. And art d'Banzai....And the economic importance of pillowcases at airports laden with traditional barbaric metals, exiting Egypt.
One of these days a photo will appear of someones laptop monitor in the background with screenshot of ZH.......in a prominent place, accidentally, you know, like instead of porn
".in a prominent place, accidentally, you know, like instead of porn.."
...so, it will not be at the SEC?
In public places, I read ZH as if it was porn. There is a bit of truth in my statement.
"I'd look ad BoA as a firesale and if they do have to raise capital, it's already priced into the stock. I don't own it but I'm looking hard."
LOLWUT? Did this guy just have a botched lobotomy? I mean, WTF!
I don't know, it seems like the proceedure was wildly successful to me.
If they declare bankruptcy and default and cease to exist, that's priced in too. Just like the S&P has already priced in QE3, no QE3, a recession, a depression, world war, and a strong recovery.
Or intergalactic war. Hit me with that "V" shaped recovery! Maybe Krugman needs to give David Icke a call and get'er done.
I hear you. Hard to believe a savvy big-hitter like that could not make sense...
Priced in for me is not just the actual share value at instant t, but also the trend. In this case, a nice slope heading to oblivion.
Exactly my thought. Those pumpers didn't exactly give a thoughtful defense of BAC. Nor did BAC for that matter.
CNBC anchors are legends in their own minds. Little do they realize the world has past them by and they are no longer relevant.
Now go buy GM, it's going to 60! HAHAHA
Wait so are they well capitalized or do they need to raise capital. The stock cannot be pricing both.
Actually, the stock is pricing neither. Imagine.
Perfect. +1
Yea, saw that live and laughed my ass off. Between that recommendation, and Trump buying BAC a few weeks ago (at around $7, or 12% ago), I'm convinced and going all in.
WHO in their right minds would take financial advice from someone that's been inside a bankruptcy court more than once???
He also mentions that responding to blog criticism by making it personal was poor management and poor handling. That really inspires confidence.
what else do you expect from these prostitutes (no I did not say presstitutes)
Zero Hedge plans IPO, according to the people who are familiar with the matter.
Unfortunately, that rumor is too little, too late. You see, we created the instantaneous IPO-cum-LBO transaction, whereby one goes public only to LBO a nanosecond later using ECB cash, pledging other people's used condoms as collateral at 100 cents on the dollar, pardon, EUR-and-soon-to-be-SDR.
Damn, I wanted a Tranche!
Keep up the good work.
Equity, bitchez...
Der's DNA in dem condomz, Bitchez!
Sounds very lucrative & quite profitable
Shit! I am too dumb to think of that.
PERPETUAL SUPERNOVA TYLER!!!
Word.
Explains much. Powers too be (or not)? These academia whores to falsehood are just 'doing they job'.
Been saying for a long and expensive time that these 'masters of the universe' have obvious plans for the sheeple.
It's clearly not going to end well.
Deception tends to play out like that.
very clever
all the plants are belong to zh?
LOL
Would that be that new POBLO swap the cool kids were talking about at O'Lunney's?
zH~~~people like to plant stories in there.
rilly? who?
OT: way to give yerself 20 greenies, t.d.!
J'accusé! (Just piling on the conspiracies here!)
if you're gonna speak french....do it right fellow : J'ACCUSE
Probably had too many bad croissants at Susse Chalet.
The only conspiracy, if the Network cannot spin the lies and protect the monetary illusion; no new ad revenues and taxpayer subsides.
sure why not? sheeple need more disinfo.zh aint exactly Researching Criminal zionism
now there's a conspiracy theory.
and speaking of BAC conspiracy theories....
how about this one?:
JP Morgan May Take Over Bank Of America
There is a rumor circulated on Wall St. that JP Morgan (NYSE: JPM) will take over Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) within the week. The government will support the deal with a $100 billion investment in preferred shares issued by the combined entity. Alternatively, the government may guarantee the value of a large pool of Bank of America assets. The word is that Treasury Secretary Geithner has discussed the transaction with JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon. The “merger” would completely destroy the value of BAC’s common shares.
The government feels that the deal may be necessary as Bank of America struggles unsuccessfully to close several transactions to bolster its balance sheet. The Wall Street Journal reported that Business Insider speculated that the financial firm will need to raise $200 billion which would be another possible event that would wipe out common shareholders.

This one seems a little more serious than what Henry said. "Within the week" is like, within a couple days.
But, but, but what would that do to Brian Moynihan's net worth?
Add him to the client list of JPM's Food Stamp division?
<--Cha$e of America
<--Morgue Bank
Now that corporations are persons, particularly in light of Scotus, can we be convicted for libel if we criticize them? For instance, if someone says that Monsanto sells seeds that generate plants that do not themselves produce viable seeds or any seeds at all, thus making the farmer more or less a hostage, is that actionable?
give me zero hedge
or
give me death
bytches
"Now I dont own the stock, but I'm looking hard." translation: I wouldn't own this pig if it were free.
I'm a lowly Liberal Arts major. Smart enough to do logic and have a BS meter, but as far as finance is concerned, "I was told there would be no math." That said, there's no arguing with accuracy and truth, proof in the pudding, etc. I've been reading several times a day and understanding probably 30% of what's posted. I "get" the picture in big broad strokes, reading between the lines. Makes enough sense to keep me on the right track in bizarro world financially.
Started out reading every financial blog I could get my hands on three or four years ago. I'm still here. Maybe one or two others besides ZH. Skeptics, it's not 100% right 100% of the time, but it's more accurate than the rest and certainly beats thet Truthiness of government and other "official" reports. Hats off to Tyler and all who post here. You've got my back and you don't even know me.
Put that in your pipes, Conspiracy Theorists.
Add to yer readin' list: http://news.goldseek.com/GoldenJackass/
Not being able to do math is a serious disability. It's kind of like having sight in only one eye. You can see, but you don't have depth perception. But the human brain is amazing in its ability to compensate.
It's too bad the education system K-12 does its best to ruin mathematics for everyone. That's the heart of the problem. The quality of a text is inversely proportional to its weight. People think they lack ability, but I'm almost to the point where I think the way math is taught is deliberately designed to dumb people down.
Terrorizers!
Wait until they get a load of us..
Pioneer Aviation, Pioneer Aviation. Pioneer Aviation. Pioneer Aviation. Pioneer Aviation. Pioneer Aviation. Pioneer Aviation
Is it true yet?
If you say it enough, it is ! 35 years later, I can still hear Hot Lips yelling it out in the compound!
Hawkeye and Trapper also nailed Frank with the Korea fool's gold scam. Here's a conspiracy theory for you: who let Alan Alda take over that show and strangle the life out of it?
All good things must come to an end, except PM's!
"Shut up. I need to make a fortune and then go bang Hot Lips."
Margaret!
Old Frank was a great actor...
I for one....am proud to be part of a conspiracy.....do we get T-Shirts now
Sure, it's in the usual hollow stump drop.
It's the one that says, "Part of the ZH conspiracy. You don't know me."
That's pretty good.
Good enough for the gift shop!
So what the fuck is their response? They just said, "Zomg did you hear these stupid bloggers? Lolz what idiots." So what's wrong with the analysis douche bags?
Exactly. They are a joke. And I don't hear them bashing their own guests when they tell viewers (suckers) that GM is going to 60, BAC is going to 50, etc.
When's the CIA/DEA gonna pick up these "keys" in my garage? I'm tired of trippin' over'em!
This is HILARIOUS!!!! Watch your back Tyler
As MSM credibility fades further into the dust!!
what credibility?
I think he meant incredibility.
Keep up the great work Tyler, you are really ruffling some feathers amonsgt the TPTB!
Indeed.
MISINFORMATION BITCHEZ!
Blogs bad, CNBC good.
Mindless fucking bullishness = good
Skepticism of bullshit = bad
And what's bad for the bullshit..
Blogosphere = doubleplusungood
Big Brother Main Stream Media = doubleplusgood
That's too much indoctrination for my blood surrogate.
+1
I picked up the same vibe and was going to comment on the same. Lee's distain for 'bloggers' citing other 'bloggers' would be fucking hilarious if it were not so pathetic. If CNBC cared one iota about credibility it would keep and prominently display the track record of the same old idiots they parade out day after day. Of course - were they to hold their guests to account - their rolodex of people to fill airtime with useless advice would collapse overnight.
Spot on! Like that Zandi character, fer instance.
dictionary definition of 'plant' in verb form.
I'd say they hit the nail on the head with that reporting. so what's the problem???
What news story or commentary is not originally 'planted' somehwere???
Fuck off Comcast, there is a more credible news outlet in the blogosphere. You're not it!
Here's a conspiracy for ya. They take away the ability to grow our own food, have our own land and decide our own fate. They created the "money" in the first place. We were doing fine on our own. Fuck 'em all!
UN Agenda 21
Wait till they start insisting on vaccinating everyone and giving you an identity stamp which encodes everything about you--financial account info, medical history, pending judgements against you, etc, etc., without which you will not be able to eat or feed your family. Coming soon.
The place where I come from is a small town
They think so small they use small words
But not me, I'm smarter than that,
I worked it out
I'll be stretching my mouth to let those big words come right out
CNBC Mouthpiece reported it first. Oh No, say it's not so!
.....
I see what you did there! :>D
Oooooooohhh, you bad ol' Puddy Cat, TD. Posting all those baaaaddd bankster reviews.
The only thing I can add is that when you go to the bar in Charlotte at The Palm & Del Frisco's during the week (other than Wednesday at Del Frisco's), there ain't not dat many people there (double neg intended). And I be one of dem peeples with a pic on The Palm's wall in da bar.
"Bank of America said the exposures that Blodget identified as the source of possible losses were inaccurate, with his sovereign exposure being off by a factor of 10."
Um, are they really 2,000 Billion in the crapper???!!!
A great example of what it sounds like when 'town clowns' open their mouths.
If they were really interested in refuting what's been claimed they wouldn't go after the messenger(s), they would demonstrate how the claims are erroneous. But instead they prattle on endlessly saying absolutely nothing.
I would love if each person in the video went through a disclosure process to determine if they have received any money from "the industry" to taint or sway stories in one way or another.
I'd like to plant a story that Fast Money is not an embarrassing farce on a network everyone finds funny, please.
Simple, just slip Tyler some AU...
Bernanke is Osama Bin Ladin. He'es practicing economic terrorism. The real Bernank went swimming with the fishes compliments of Seal Team 6. That, children, is why the Fed is fucking the free world into the ground for their economic masters. Shit always floats to the top of the toilet, y'know, and is always last down the pipe after the flush - but always ends up with everything else, in the end. Banksters! The other white meat! It's what's for dinner!
The blogosphere is the ONLY place where high-level fraud and criminality in Washington and Wall Street is being exposed.
ALL of mainstream media is covering it up. ALL of maintstream media is bought, owned, compromised, sold out, whatever term you want to use.
Mainstream media has become nothing more than propoganda for Washington and Wall Street.
More and more people are seeing it. More and more people are figuring it out. More and more people are turning the TV off and spending that time on the internet at sites like this where they can get facts, not propoganda, truth, not lies. Mainstream media is losing viewers, market share, and advertising revenue.
Facts. Truth. THAT'S why people turn the TV off and come here.
And your point is?
he made his point, what's yours ?
COG: you know it!
The blogosphere is the ONLY place where high-level fraud and criminality in Washington and Wall Street is being exposed.
On that we can rely.
Tyler:
You were the first to report that somebody bought 55,000 BAC November 4.00 puts. Now somebody bought another 15,000 of them today to bring the total open interest in the Nov 4 puts to 115,756. Looks like something is a brewing and somebody know something.
If JPM buys them, it could be another run-on name company like PriceWaterhouseCoopers, ExxonMobile, now we would have JPMorganChaseBankofAmericaMerrillLynch. It just rolls off your tongue.
I've been waiting for this. Next up you will be labeled as "a terrorist organization".
And yes, I'm serious.
The regime does not appreciate dissent.

Well they have been watching Justin Raimindo. The Tylers likely qualify for inclusion in a dossier as well. How many agents do they need to tail the various Tylers?

Oh you story planting whores.
