We are here to talk about a growing concern we all share. If we look to history, our great country and freedom are under attack. We're at a tipping point and, quite possibly, our country as we know it may be lost forever if we don't change the course in which our country is headed.
With our country at a crossroads, Chuck and I have asked ourselves what we can be doing to help support this great country we're blessed to live in and how we can encourage our like-minded American brothers and sisters to unite and let their voices be heard," she said. "It is estimated that in the 2008 election, 30 million evangelical Christians stayed home on voting day and Obama won the election by 10 million votes.
We know you love your family and your freedom as much as Gena and I do, and it is because of that we can no longer sit quietly or stand on the sidelines and watch our country go the way of socialism or something much worse.

President Reagan went on to say that 'You and I have a rendezvous with destiny. We will preserve for our children this last best hope of man on earth, or we will sentence them to take the first step into a thousand years of darkness. If we fail, at least let our children and our children's children say of us we justified our brief moment here. We did all that could be done.

If we start exporting natural gas, which we will in less than four years, from McAllen Texas there will be the first LNG terminal, just the one in McAllen is going to produce $70 to $80 billion a year of positive trade balance. If we start exporting value-added natural gas, in the form of fertilizers and plastics and other products that you make from natural gas, we could have a positive trade balance in less than ten years. That would be a shock to the world. Nobody sees that coming. That would make the dollar so remarkably strong, when combined with the balanced budget, that we would actually deserve to be the reserve currency again. America could be the America that we all think that it should be in our mind, that we would like it to be. I think the choice is between America becoming America, what we think of as America, in our hearts, what we want America to be, or we become Italy or Spain. I want to be the America that I grew up with in my mind. I think America really could have our finest years in front of us again.

Plus, nearly all of the new natural gas wells being drilled loose 50% of their initial production within 90-180 days, and are down to about 10-5% productionat 1 year.

My 1/2 brother (about 25 years older than me) took a permanent dirtnap a few years ago. When I was settling his estate, I found out that he hadn't filed taxes in 12 years. Collecting Social Security (his and his late wife's) too, a pension (and his wife's too).
Lesson learned, one CAN stop paying taxes. In over a decade, never a question was asked of him. I never filed a final tax return for him either....too big a pain in the ass, and I bave plausible deniability; I'm not and estate lawyer.
In debt up to his eyeballs too, apparently on purpose because most of the credit card charges were made after he was on his last leg.

Yep, the real economy is contracting ...look at California where tax revenues are down 10%, of which Sales Taxes down a whopping 30% in July (which the budget controller didn't see coming!)

With Ron Paul's approach within the R party being roundly criticized now, isn't it time to seriously back a 3rd party option? Problem is building that from the ground up will not be easy, and who will dynamically lead that charge? And I just don't think it can be the Libertarian party, as currently constituted - it's got to be a larger, more appealing to the masses party. Perhaps Dr. Paul just did the math and considered himself too old, having tried the Libertarian and Republican routes to attempt to bring back sanity to the US.

sorry to sound like an evil socialist but i think even the europeans with all their faults and moronic policy makers (draghi and his ilk) have got certain things right over the last 50 years like giving the less fortunate some basic dignity and opportunities in life. in the US the poor are exploited for cheap labour to create profit for fat cat CEOs (who in many cases are not even owner managers but merely stewards of companies placed on boards who then feel it is their right to rip as much as they can out of the company in compensation) and wall street bankers. of course the other use for the poor has been a cheap source of bodies to send into war to promote western interests (or should we be more accurate and say the western elites interests).

im not talking about taxing the poor to pay for the poor dude as you put it. im talking about taxing EVERYONE fairly, the burden of tax should fall on the rich more than the poor as the marginal loss in tax is likely to be felt less heavily by the rich rather than the poor. if you dont do this, the wealthier will get even wealthier and the poor poorer, as we have witnessed over the last 30/40 years (largely because of compounding of interest and returns on assets such as stocks etc).
the wealthy should not control the govt ofcourse, their needs to be control on party funding and so on to deal with the issue. the best person for the job is what matters, how the f8ck did we end up with obama as president & benake as fed chairman .. both are not equipped for the responsibility they shoulder.
