Chuck Schumer To CTRL-P "Get To Work Mr. Chairman"... For The Benefit Of My Donors

Tyler Durden's picture

Yes, Chuck Schumer just said "Get to work, Mr. Chairman" right after saying that "The Fed is the only game in town... You have to take whatever actions are necessary to ensure a strong recovery." What he really meant is that my biggest donors demand a solid bonus for 2012. Who are these donors you may ask? Here they are.

How dare he tell Bernanke to get to work!  Schumer and Congress should get to work - - - oh yeah, they are working for their donors, not their electing constitutents.  And we call this government?  Appalling.

Bernanke should tell Congress that he is going to raise interest rates in order to force Congress to budget and realize that without ZIRP they can no longer afford this debt.  Should interest rates normalize, imagine how much of GDP will go to servicing debt, never mind extinguishing!

Charles Schumer: Ugly American Version 2.0

TruthInSunshine's picture

I've said it for years.

Chuck Schumer isn't an American who was elected to represent Americans. He's been gently lifted into his seat by the massive, parastitic hand of Wall Street & Global Banking, and he'd sooner see the country that some call The United States burn to the ground, as long as it burns west of the Lincoln Tunnel, then see the parasitic drain on the nation caused by Wall Street/Banking end.

'Flyover Country' is just grist for the mill, and a reservoire of spent offerings, from which Schumer can extract more blood for the hand of the money-is-our-sole-god machine that feeds him.

Two buck Chuck..., doesn't disappoint.

If you think about, that's a perfect description and adjective.

That amount of money publicly disclosed that's sent Chucky's way is a relative drop in the ocean compared to what Chucky, Wall Street's bag boy par excellence, delivers to his handlers.

Of course, we haven't considered the amount 2 Buck Chuck gets from his appreciative benefactors that's not publicly disclosed...

Lotta typing, hope someone here made money today.  Schumer moved the market.  Translation of what he said:   please provide Q En because we're headed for Gridlock then a Cliff.   Trade accordingly.

Isn't America great? We can plainly see whose whore Chuck Schumer is.

I love America.

P.S. - I do love America. It's the sociopaths and corruption that I hate.

The psychopaths, sociopaths and currupt scum politicians and banksters comprise the United States.  America exists outside of that realm.  So it is easy to love America, and yet hate the US.

It's the same everywhere now.  Same here in the UK - the vote means nothing because the politicians are either owned by the financial/corporate elite or scared into obedience (same result).

Fucking corrupt oligarchies :(

Uhmmm, Bernanke is only doing his job, which is managing a money lending system designed to exploit democracy.  Bernanke doesn't work for you and me, he works for the owners of the central bank.  And who is that?  Well, we are told the owners of the central bank are the largest commercial banks for which it provides cartel support.  The architects of this system had lent money ad hoc to sovereigns for centuries but the cartelization of the banking system under a singular central bank with the state sanctioned monopoly of issuing the sovereign treasury's currency assured it of a never ending flow of sovereign loans from which to earn interest, and assured the sovereign of a never ending flow of financial support for its welfare and warfare activities.  The most amazing aspect of this symbiotic relationship is the public's willingness to allow these parasites to stand between it and the sovereign treasury such that all the money spent by the sovereign must be borrowed from the banking system (or from the public, to the extent they are willing to play along and buy bonds).  And to top it off, the central bank and its cartel protectorate never have to make an asset allocation decision when lending to the sovereign because the money is simply deemed to exist out of thin air and no reserves are required to be held against such loans.  In other words the banking system earns interest from the sovereign treasury for lending something it never had in the first place, something which previously had been spent into existence by the sovereign itself without the burden of interest.  Now, most of you who have read this far already know this and are rightfully outraged, but for those who are just catching on, is the perfidity of this system starting to register?  Congress is never going to stop this because they have too much to lose.  Other than a few "pariah" states deemed outside the "family of nations" barely a nation exists today that doesn't utilize this parasitic system.  I wonder why the formation of a central bank is one of the first tasks completed by western powers whenever a pariah state is conquered?  How could any of us be so naive to believe the US has a chance of ending something so important to both the politicians and the present banking system?

Yep....most recently, see Libya.  The Central Bank boys moved in even before Daffy Duck was fact, they sponsored his overthrow.  We couldn't have any gold Dinars cluttering up the financial system, could we?

He is still in office because all politicians suck, well, except my guy. He does a good job for me.

And that story repeats over and over all over the country.

Ain't legalized plunder grand?

Who needs politicians when you got drug Kingpins!

HSBC used by 'drug kingpins', says US Senate

Barclays Libor and now this. Are the thieves turning against each other or are the Politicians scapegoating Bankers, to save their own skin?

This could get very dirty!!!

Mitzibitzi's picture

Bit of both, by the look of it. Seems the smarter (or simply better informed) ones are throwing the others under the bus to save their own arses. Probably work, too, most voters / taxpayers being as dumb as they clearly are.

It's the bastards in both the political and business / banking camps that come out of this smelling like roses that we have to watch. A few will be legitimately clean, decent, honourable and honest. The rest will be the sociopathic cream of the crop, who'll lie low for a few years, give some well publicised charitable donations and generally wrap themselves in an impenetrable cloak of positive PR... then the game will begin anew!

kaa1016's picture

Exactly. People are acting as if they are shocked that this is happening. This is the way its always been. It's just a matter of more people being aware, but not enough to really change how the the system works. It's all about money. He who has the most can buy the most influence, simple as that...

Its unfortunate that our political system is so rigged and corrupt, a guy like Chuck Schumer wouldn't get reelected under any other circumstances, same with John McCain and almost every other one: Senate and House. Scum, all of them.
