Of Coordinated Intervention And The PPT. Biderman Questions Our Faith

Tyler Durden's picture

In one of his best rants of recent times, Charles Biderman, of TrimTabs, exclaims his consternation at the globally co-ordinated central bank intervention and the mainstream media's interpretation of said act. Viewing the interventions as a sign of desperation, the avuncular Biderman fears the instability that lurks just under the carefully veneered surface of the markets. Describing the goal of the Fed as having clearly changed from one of inflation and/or employment to asset-value-elevation, he raises a critical question (that perhaps only Noda knows the answer to): "What happens when central bank interventions are no longer effective?". Faith in the widely held view that money can be created out of nothing and used to solve all financial problems is likely to be tested sooner rather than later.

He's correct, but he's also mad like the rest of the market traders and organizations not in the club.  How can you have a good trading technique if the markets are manipulated to the point of absurdity.  Like the early morning of the big hike yesterday, it showed the futures in the US down by 4% already and that was the futures.  And the rest of Europe was opening and in the red big time.  A strategists would have traded like it was going to be a bad day but with the US and the rest of the central banks opening the flood gates it made the market false positive and stock soared.  So if you where out you lost money or if you where negative with the market you definitely lost money.

There trading techniques can't fight the manipulation anymore and so many of them are staying home and not doing anything.

I think you just spelled it out. And congress won't do shit, because they are on the payroll, too. So until a critical mass of the population understands this, nothing will change. And the MSM isn't going to spell it out, because they're also part of the club. That's why I support the Occupy movement, for the same reason that I initially supported the Tea Party, because it's a sign of an awakening among the people, and that's encouraging. What's discouraging is that TPTB have managed to demonize and marginalize both movements.

Infections involve several different species of parasites, which may have an additive pathogenic effect on the host.

The effect of these parasites is strongly dependent on the number of parasites and the nutritional status of the host they are infecting. The following clinical signs may be seen:

    · weight loss
    · reduced feed intake
    · diarrhoea
    · mortality
    · reduced carcass quality
    · reduced wool production/quality

Some parasites, especially those that suck blood, are responsible for specific clinical signs. The most pathogenic are the blood suckers, and infections with large numbers of this parasite often result in severe anaemia in the host, or even death.

Ben will monetize any amount of US Federal debt required.

Ben will support the stock market with direct buying of stocks and private bonds as necessary.

Ben will support banks and stuff them with money as much as they need.

Ben will monetize any private debts (mortgages, student loans, car loans, credit card loans, derivatives, anything) as necessary to keep the system afloat

Ben will monetize California, Illinois or any big state and municipality bonds as necessary

Ben will monetize all of European debt, private and public if necessary.

Ben will monetize Japan debt if interest rates start to spike on the land of rising sun bonds

Ben will support any Pentagon budget no matter how large.....1 trillion?? 2 trillion?? 3, 4, 5?? No problem...

Ben will fund any infrastructire and job creation program the Congress can come up with.....they ask and Ben provides, pronto.

The main idea is to keep taking them and buying something that is not worthless. When the game stops Ben and the Fed's game over. Take the free and kleep asking for bailouts and transfer the money. When game stop's all these dollars floating around will force the Fed to do a conversion at a considerable loss to the holders. The TBTF, bankers and countries all need to keep extracting and pleading for more. Trying to predict when it stops is a fools game.

Faith in the widely held view that money can be created out of nothing and used to solve all financial problems is likely to be tested sooner rather than later.

It's impossible to create money out of nothing.  When the Fed prints, they're not creating money.  They're taking a little bit of everybody's wealth and giving it to someone.  That's how fiat currencies work.

Think of the US dollar as a share of common stock in America.  When the Fed creates more dollars it's just like issuing more shares of stock of a company.  It dilutes the value of existing shares, maybe a tiny amount, but some amount.

If you issue 50% more shares, it dilutes the value of all shares 33%.  That's exactly what happened to the US dollar since Sept '08.

The Fed cannot create wealth out of nothing.  The Fed can only take wealth from others and distribute it somewhere else.  That's what a fiat currency does.

Since '08 the Fed has been taking large amounts of wealth from the American people and giving it to banks and the government.  Ben Bernanke runs the biggest welfare program on the planet.

Well Yeah. Of course the Federal Reserves only interest now is in propping up a doomed rigged market along with the zombie banks at the expense of the nation and it's people. Duh. The U.S. military can now detain it's fellow citizens without habeas corpus and all our elected leaders and most judges are completely captured or compromised plus there's all kinds of war games going on globally right now. You act as if you are surprised and like Americans have rights. Have you been asleep the past 10 years? The Plutocracy is planning a change.

Biderman, where's Biderman ... that was lame.  It felt like he was a hostage in some iraqy camp.

Strongly disagree housing values should be valued higher.  They are commodity though the underlying land may not be.  Equities (copmanies) have IP / workflow value that can outlast most investors and other investments.  Housing is ealy destrcutable / replacable limited barrier to entry market.

Should have also mentioned the FED's aim to debase the USD. And that would be it in a nutshell.
