CTRL+SPIN: Ben Bernanke And The Fed Propaganda Tour Live

Tyler Durden's picture

A few days ago we noted that the Fed's propagnda is slowly encroaching into the 8-12 classroom with "Fed To Take Propaganda To The Schoolroom: Will Teach Grade 8-12 Students About Constitutionality Of... The Fed" in which the Fed's appointed class agenda would allow "students to use their knowledge of McCulloch v. Maryland and the necessary and proper clause to consider the constitutionality of the Federal Reserve System." You know - just in case kids get ideas early on. And now that Grades 8-12 are covered, it is time to take the propaganda tour to college. From the Fed: "In March 2012, Chairman Ben S. Bernanke will deliver a four-part lecture series about the Federal Reserve and the financial crisis that emerged in 2007. The series begins with a lecture on the origins and missions of central banks, followed by a lecture that will discuss the role and actions of the Federal Reserve in the period after World War II. In the final two lectures, the Chairman will review some of the causes of, and policy responses to, the recent financial crisis, focusing specifically on the actions of the Federal Reserve. The lectures are being offered as part of an undergraduate course Leaving the Board at the George Washington University School of Business." Watch Bernanke as he shifts from the default CTRL+P mode to CTRL+SPIN. Also, we are taking bets on how many times the Chairsatan will use the words "Andrew" and "Jackson" in the same sentence: making a market at zero and under.

Ah yes, that's the one where he tells us that small investors aren't being crowded out of investment markets by the Fed's cheap loans because investors have access now to lots of cheap capital.

It seems to matter not one jot that small investors don't need access to cheap loans because they already have capital, but nowhere to invest.

Personally I can't wait to hear the pure common sense and bullshit-free lines that can only resonate with the totally stupid, which these days seems to be in Ivy League Universities and other places of that ilk...

"The banking panic occurred because of illiquidity in the market. Banks borrowed long term and their customers wanted their money short term."

Nice Ben troll. Not much different than today! A total mismatch of investment duration, this within a hugely leveraged fractional reserve banking system.

Hence more CTRL + P, else the system would have blown or will blow up soon.

Poor Bernanke, he has to make the case that the corrupt bankers are good for the people.

I just finished reading Comrade J (from leaked info on Wikileaks. Fuck looks like everyone is a paranoid who thinks everyone is a spy making up shit.

But probably now the Russians and the Chinese think this is a good opportunity to recruit when so many in the US are mad at government and need cash. Anyone here who is approached, these two countries are 100 times more corrupt than the US. We can return America to constitution from within the system.

"Gentlemen, I have had men watching you for a long time and I am convinced that you have used the funds of the bank to speculate in the breadstuffs of the country. When you won, you divided the profits amongst you, and when you lost, you charged it to the bank. You tell me that if I take the deposits from the bank and annul its charter, I shall ruin ten thousand families. That may be true, gentlemen, but that is your sin! Should I let you go on, you will ruin fifty thousand families, and that would be my sin! You are a den of vipers and thieves."

*** FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ***

March 20, 2012  Washington DC - Federal Reserve Chairman Benjamin Shalom Bernanke has announced plans to start a new fraternal organization for students called the Keynesian Youth.  They will be issued uniforms, and practice daily salutes to the nearest Federal Reserve member bank.  "He alone who owns the youth," intoned Bernanke, "gains the future."

Well, it is not by chance that I very often see the words "hofjuden", "yid" and 'judefetzen" on the libertarian blogosphere, is it?

These words come from very ancient and very dangerous theories about the banking system, power, the origin of money, and the nature of the Jewish people.

And the "Second Look At The Federal Reserve" of Griffin simply recycles these theories: that bankers are inherently bad, that central banks function mostly as a proxy for legally counterfeiting money, that old banker dynasties rule the world and have bought up the medias, etc.

So what in the hell does that have to do with anti-semitism. More so, who are you to tell us that history as it's told is dangerous?

The Creature from Jekyll Island has little to do with what you are talking about. I personally do not need you to look out for me, I'm perfectly capable of reading something and understanding on a level sufficient to formulate my own opinion. "Creature" is required reading. When the Second Bank of the United States was shut by Jackson, the banksters knew they had to do things differently on their next try. The MidWest and West Coast banks were stealing too much business away from New York and they wanted it back. So they embarked on a ten-year program of propaganda and politician-buying to be sure their next effort to establish a banker's OPEC cartel for our money succeeded in 1913. The program subtly convinced enough politicians that the US needed a CB, and the Fed was born. Rue the day.

Fifth Plank: Centralization of credit in the hands of the State, by means of a national bank with State capital and an exclusive monopoly. (The Federal Reserve Bank, 1913- -the system of privately-owned Federal Reserve banks which maintain a monopoly on the valueless debt "money" in circulation.)

Tenth Plank: Free education for all children in public schools. Abolition of children's factory labor in its present form. Combination of education with industrial production.

Oddly, they seem to have skipped the portion where Bernanke completely missed the coming crisis of 2008.

One wonders, with Bernanke doing his victory lap, why nobody is questioning his participation in creating and misdiagnosing, the financial crisis, up until the point the financial system was within 12 hours of shutting down.

From March 28, 2007:

Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke told Congress on Wednesday that growing
troubles in the market for risky mortgages thus far doesn't appear to be
spreading to the overall economy but the situation bears close watching.

"At this juncture . . . the impact on the broader economy and financial
markets of the problems in the subprime markets seems likely to be contained
,"
Bernanke said in prepared testimony to Congress' Joint Economic Committee.

One wonders, if action had been taken in 2006-2007, whether millions of people would have found themselves without jobs and homes?

The Federal Reserve PR machine can work overtime trying to demonstrate how well they work. The bottom line is the USD has lost 99% of its value over the lifetime of an institution who founding purpose was "price stability". Next time Leisman find Bernanke in an elevator shaft, he might want to ask him about that (or not, as will likely be the case).

How about teaching the kids how about the Federal Reserve's fractional banking system (alias Ponzi Scheme) and how they blow enormus bubbles (current stock market and one in 2001, 1929) with easy money leading to deep recessions and depressions?  As well as massive inflation and being used as an enoumous debt enabler.

How about marking debt to fantasy? Promoting member bank members to load down our childdren with enormous school debt?

Bernanke and the Federal Reseve banksters are trying ensure their existance to leech and steal for the next 100 years from the US.

Ignorance has become ineffective in protecting the scam, so the NAZIs must now actively lie to students.  It is up to the parents to counter this attack.  I recommend, "Secrets of The Federal Reserve", by Eustace Mullins.  This book is full of thruth and also identifies the source of all issues for which the politicians scamper around and pretend to address.  Eradicate the source and the symptoms will go away.

I've been wondering....

Before the announcement of Facebook's IPO everyone knew they would soon be going public due to some old SEC rules requiring disclosure of shareholder names once the number of shareholders reaches 500, even PRIVATE corporations.

So why doesn't this rule apply to the FED? I'm sure the FRBNY must have more than 500 member banks.

Obviously, I can't be the first to ask this question.

Maybe someone here can point me to the relevant court case that must have been previously adjudicated.

We do a poor job of protecting our kids minds, and instead we are more concerned about their physical safety. If the school is safe, then everything is fine. However, kids get attacked by Government, Religion, marketing, and even the teachers' biases who claim want to provide a "moral" or "civic" foundation. It has been a well known fact by these entities that brain washing these kids from an early age creates obedient servants. There is no mistake why the catholic church is into schools or why kids are told to pledge allegiance to the flag. Now, the central bankers want to get into the act. It is easy to see where power is shifting. Make no mistake the bankers are taking over and one day millions of brain washed kids will follow blindly.

Kids need to be taught to read and think because that is the ONLY way they can protect themselves. Everyone out there is attacking their minds. They are under constant bombardment day in and day out. They want them to buy a product, or go to war without asking, or follow a specic religion on faith alone, and now to accept a piece of paper in exchange for their labor (slavery).

The outcome will be a society of obese citizens in a constant state of depression. Thinking that if they only had this or that, or if they look like him or her, then they would be happy. Women will go under a knife to look pretty until they become deformed. People will consume until can go into debt no more. One war will come one after the other. All of these are already happening.

Even when these kids try to rebel as in the OWS movement, they are completely clueless (Rebels without a clue). They know that there is something wrong, but they can articulate it, analyze it, much less figure a solution or a course of action. In turn they again become victims to those that want them to do their bidding for their own personal profit (Michael Moore). One just needs to talk with one of them for a minute to know they are defenseless. They talk about what they know, but don't know what they are talking about. It is such a disservice done to these generation. They just don't have a chance.

This seems like a good thing to me.  Education isn't about ensuring that people are only exposed to "acceptable" ideas.

If you want to be free to think or believe anything, it's best to be well-informed about what the people who oppose your thoughts or beliefs are saying and doing.

The American education system was conceived of in the 1850s, by Horace Mann, who had previously studied the model used by the Prussians.  Basically, the system is designed to create a soft, pliable workforce suitable for mechanized, repetitive jobs in industrialized factory societies.

The school bell that rings, letting you know that it's time for the next "period"?  It was originally designed to help children acclimate to the noise of the bell on the factory floor, indicating that it was time for a shift change over.

Read John Taylor Gatto for a full expose on the modern American education system.  It's nothing more than statist indoctrination, masquerading as "public service" and "for the good of the children."

Largely agreed, although personally I find the most significant contribution from the "Taylorists" in the early 20th century.

The point is--there IS such a thing as education, whether you believe the government should be doing it or not.  It's valuable to be exposed to different ideas in order to learn to reason well.

Enough of the comments here are of the "it's all lies and should stop" variety that I wanted to present the other side of that discussion.  When your preferred theories are truly superior, you need never worry about exposing kids to the ideas you don't agree with.

There's a real cowardice demonstrated by refusing to listen to your intellectual opponent.

Certainly your logic is true, and gives only lie to the Judaic claim that public safety demands holocaust "deniers" be imprisoned, as is the case in Canada, Germany, and many European nations.

Just the term "denier" implies infinite righteousness on the side of holocaustianity, and infinite incorrectness on the side of those with the opposite opinion.  One can only "deny" something incontrovertible.

Judaics claim the "truth" of the holocaust is so obvious that no one has the right to "deny" it.  How could something so obvious require imprisonment for anyone who disagrees?

The west's highest icon is a myth, a lie, a corruption and discervice/hate crime against the German race.

For instance, Judaic/Law Professor Debra Lipstadt indeed demands every holocaust denier be imprisoned, even in the USA, and certainly such deniers have no right to earn a living.  They should immediately be killed, but she might live with them being forced to starve to death.

Yet, Lipstadt hypocritically denies the allies fried 40k German civilians in a Dresden holocaust.

It is always OK for a Judaic to hate, lie and mythologize goyim to the Judaic's advantage (money, sympathy, forgiveness, etc.)  Yet, if I or any other goyim points out the hypocrisy that a Judaic is always blessed for their lies and hate crimes against goyim, the goyim is always and only an "anti-Semite."

Judaics made up the word "holocaust" only to elevate their suffering above and beyond all goyim suffering.

The Creature From Jekyll Island is an excellent book.

But also make sure your children know what's in article I, section 10 of the U.S. Constitution.

There is no way the requirement that states use only gold and silver coin as tender in payment of debts can be reconciled with a fiat currency.  I am very, very confident that that part of the U.S. constitution will not be mentioned in the Fed's propaganda efforts.  I am also confident that 99 out of 100 public school teachers (who are themselves nearly all products of our public schools) are absolutely unaware of the constitutional requirement to use gold or silver as money.  So they will be useful pawns in the Fed's indoctrination efforts.
