I'd guess the NY Fed doesn't mined if stocks need to re-correlate to context. They just don't want anyone trying to profit from it.. so slice and dice and churn until all the bears retreat back to the sidelines then gap lower inline.

What I find interesting is that when a stock goes parabolic that they keep it there for 5 days to make sure that margin calls are completed. After that the stock falls like a rock, with no support.

The market is in neat "meat grinder"/distribution mode. If retail gets involved they get ground up. One day soon, we'll have a 2% day, DOWN. You have to be NUTS to get involved in this market.
