As Disenchantment With Idiocy Surges, Ron Paul Support Soars

Tyler Durden's picture

Every legacy media and central planner's worst nightmare is slowly coming true: as the broader field of GOP candidates is rapidly dropping like US secret drones blowing up nuclear power plants in Iran, due to general idiocy, incompetence, too much baggage-ness or general reverse American Idol syndrome where Americans get tired with any given "leader" only to vote them out of the primary the following week, the one clear winner is becoming Ron Paul, who according to Public Policy Polling has seen his support soar in the past week and is now neck and neck with presidential candidate du week, Newt Gingrich. From the PPP: "There has been some major movement in the Republican Presidential race in Iowa over the last week, with what was a 9 point lead for Newt Gingrich now all the way down to a single point. Gingrich is at 22% to 21% for Paul with Mitt Romney at 16%, Michele Bachmann at 11%, Rick Perry at 9%, Rick Santorum at 8%, Jon Huntsman at 5%, and Gary Johnson at 1%."

More on this news which will be welcomed by supporters of the only person in the GOP crowd who actually deserves to be president:

Paul meanwhile has seen a big increase in his popularity from +14 (52/38) to +30 (61/31).  There are a lot of parallels between Paul's strength in Iowa and Barack Obama's in 2008- he's doing well with new voters, young voters, and non-Republican voters:

-59% of likely voters participated in the 2008 Republican caucus and they support Gingrich 26-18.  But among the 41% of likely voters who are 'new' for 2012 Paul leads Gingrich 25-17 with Romney at 16%.  Paul is doing a good job of bringing out folks who haven't done this before.

-He's also very strong with young voters.  Among likely caucus goers under 45 Paul is up 30-16 on Gingrich.  With those over 45, Gingrich leads him 26-15 with Romney at 17%.

-Among Republicans Gingrich leads Paul 25-17. But with voters who identify as Democrats or independents, 21% of the electorate in a year with no action on the Democratic side, Paul leads Gingrich 34-14 with Romney at 17%.

Young voters, independents, and folks who haven't voted in caucuses before is an unusual coalition for a Republican candidate...the big question is whether these folks will really come out and vote...if they do, we could be in for a big upset.

And if Paul can sustain the surge in momentum from Iowa, he may we have a chance to take New Hampshire where Romney still has a modest lead according to Rasmussen:

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney remains on top of the New Hampshire Republican Primary field, but the race for second place between Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul is a lot closer than it was just two weeks ago.

The latest Rasmussen Reports statewide telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary Voters shows Romney with 33% of the vote, followed by Gingrich at 22%. Paul now picks up 18% support, his best showing in the Granite State so far. Former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman comes in fourth with 10% of the vote, with no other candidate reaching double digits. (To see survey question wording, click here.)

Support for Romney, Gingrich and Huntsman is little changed from the previous survey, but Paul has now closed the 10-point gap between him and Gingrich to just four points.

Luckily, there still is more than enough opportunity for the other candidates' broad stupidity to shine through, which will benefit only one of the candidates. Furthermore, should the global economy collapse and the Fed proceed with doing the only thing he knows how to do, and as a result focus the broader population's attention even more on monetary policy, there will be only one winner: the one who has made the Fed his nemesis not only during this presidential election cycle, but his entire career.

We wish him all the best.

h/t John

Somebody up there listens to what I say : I advocated three subjects to be debated here on ZH as they were not getting enough editorial review. Well, the events are catching up with my desires!

1° Ron PAul has become of interest to the people of USA. THank somebody up there for small blessings.

Now for the other two...more against the grain of middle america, but if you never hope n stretch  you'll never catch the fly ball.

TPTB have already ceded Iowa to Paul, and will write it off to the quirks of the caucus process. But if Paul picks up steam anywhere else, who knows what they will have waiting for him.

Saddam 'wins 100% of vote'

$nip>

BBC News - World Edition - Wednesday, 16 October, 2002, 11:41 GMT 12:41 UK

Iraqi officials say President Saddam Hussein has won 100% backing in a referendum on whether he should rule for another seven years.

There were 11,445,638 eligible voters - and every one of them voted for the president, according to Izzat Ibrahim, Vice-Chairman of Iraq's Revolutionary Command Council.

The government insists the count was fair and accurate.

We have sunk pretty deep. Even if 100 (more like 99) percent of Americans voted for Ron Paul someone else would be named the "winner".

I will still vote but it's really starting to get silly.

It says a lot for a candidate who can gain ground on such luminaries as Ronald Reagan, Charles de Gaulle, the Duke of Wellington and the two president Roosevelts…all of whom Newt Gingrich has compared himself. And that’s not all, his campaign now exploding, he says that he’s invented a whole new way of running a political campaign that’s “like watching (Sam) Walton or (Ray) Kroc develop Walmart and McDonald’s.”

San Francisco Chronicle columnist, Debra J. Saunders, referring to Gingrich’s 90 minute debate expertise as the Newt Show, says “Newtophiles relish the prospect of their happy warrior taking on President Obama. The base doesn’t think about what the Democrats can do back to Gingrich, especially offstage (digging up his wives, girlfriends, taking money from the lobbyists, NAFTA, GATT, the Mexican peso plunder of $52 billion, amnesty and all the rest).”

Henry Kissinger, kingpin of the global kingdom, stated in an article he wrote for the Los Angeles Times Syndicate: “NAFTA represents the single most creative step towards a New World Order since the end of the Cold War."

I can still dream. And he wants to "Support all our Troops" by bringing them home from over 120 countries. Is it even possible to have a real President anymore. I am still dreaming.

Just time for others to take over being Mr. Policeman of the world. We are broke, bankrupt, we do not have any money to keep our good men and women in other countries. Many citizens of other nations are really sick of Americans. They know we started the theft, fraud and greed that spread to many countries. They know that US got us into this mess. Surely, we are not the only ones responsible for the coming depression but, we as #1 showed the way.

When does the Secret Service start to protect this good man? He will need it.

Would bring many back to Republican Party after Bush II fiasco and Obama posturing on every issue as a veteran Wash. politico rather than exercising leadership . Notice all his original economic advisors flew the coop.  Need real change with unknown consequences which we would certainly get with Ron Paul-- but it is a gamble worth taking.  Otherwise slow death spiral with Romney or Gingrich and same double talk ,deception and Wash speak. Polls reflect voter frustration with  Obama and other Republican candidates.  Of coarse another  war could change everything since Ron Paul is not a shining example of a fierce Commander-in-Chief . However war  would only drag the economy further into a hole of insolvency. On other hand another market/financial collapse would only help Ron Paul.

Frankly Paul's popularity is, at best, stable amonst his diehard supporters.  Among the general public, he appears to be sinking and not least because of his naive stance that Iran is no threat -- and amazing in the face of Iran's constant threats to destroy one and all.  Even among the faithful his professed unwillingness to prevent coercion by state governments re mandatory health care has raised convern and doubt.

Should Ron Paul ever get the media attention he craves it would be soon become his worst nightmare.

When was the last time Sweden, Finland, Switzerland, etc had a terrorist attack?

If Afghanistan started building military bases in your backyard, I'd bet you'd get pretty irritated.

...and didn't the CIA create Al Qaeda back in the 80's to help fight the Rooskies?

We need to stop all this shit. The founding fathers warned us of entagling global alliances. So what do we do? Build military bases in 180 countries around the world. Now look at us.

Please prove your bald-face assertion "Iran has made constant threats to destroy one and all".  There is one doofus in Iran who made over-the-top statements about Israel over the past several years, but he is about #14 on the totem-pole in Iran and ignored by others.  His rants are less dangerous than McCain singing "Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran" during the 2008 presidential election.  It is the USSA who has invaded and bombed endless countries in the past decade, not Iran.

Your other complaints are twisted red-herrings, and essentially irrelevant because NOBODY ELSE we could elect would cut back the power of government at all.  And let's be very clear, it is the federal government that is BY FAR the most egregious danger to all of us, and that's where he will be able to help most.

I think what Meremortal is saying is that RP is "anti-Semitic" because:  He doesn't want to bomb the shit out of every country in the Middle East with the endgame as annihilating Iran.

To many, if you are not a warmonger, then that makes you anti-Semitic.

And I have about had it with that mindless tripe!

Remember...the Tavistock Institute was successful in convincing peace-loving America to get into WW1 by spewing completely false "news" stories about German soldiers cutting off the hands of little Belgian children, etc.

Most Americans still don't know that FDR knew in advance about the impending Pearl Harbor attack...and actually used it to convince Americans into WW11.

Seriously if Ron Paul does make it to President, let us all pray he isn't assassinated in his first week of officer by some soulness minion of orthodoxy from the status quo (big business, banks, media and big government). If Ron Paul wins the primary, I'm afraid the "single bullet theory" has not concluded. The kleptocrats and banksters will kill him.  He would not hide behind an army of newly hired SS agents like Owebama. His desire to meet "us" in the public forum would be his grassy knoll.

The opening of Benny Capone's vault will reveal the sting of all time. Ron will be warned, but he is a lion and will proceed, without regard for his life. Maybe count the gold at Fort Knox in the process. Then all this shit can crash to "true value" and we can start anew. The only way....out.

CrockettAlmanac.com,

It is abundantly clear that you and I are not communicating on the same wavelength.  I am not claiming to be the first person to discover that Perry is a lousy candidate.  My initial post on this thread served NO OTHER PURPOSE that to admit on this public forum that I was wrong about the guy as a viable candidate.  In fact, today is not the first time I admitted that on ZH.  Be a good sport and leave it at that and let us move on.

"And do you still insist that Ron Paul isn't electable?"  -  CrockettAlmanac.com

I do not believe the GOP Establishment wants Ron Paul, and I think they will throw the kitchen sink at him if he contends in Iowa or New Hampshire.  The same thing happened to Pat Buchanan when he won the New Hampshire Primary during the 1996  campaign.  They set out to crush him and nominate Bob Dole (who was a terrible candidate).  The GOP Establishment does not want a candidate that they do not own in their hip pocket.  Dr. Paul is a man of integrity and high ideals.  The GOP doesn't really deserve a guy of his character.  His chances would likely improve as a 3rd party candidate.  I do not believe he will get the GOP nomination.

No, I am not.  The fact that I did not enumerate Perry's many flaws as a candidate here doesn't mean I don't fully recognize them now.

BTW, I never said I thought Perry would win because he is a superior individual.  I thought the GOP would rally around him as someone who could win the general election.  Well, he blew those hopes out of the water.  I expect him gone after New Hampshire (if he lasts that long).

They want us out of their faces, they want us to leave them alone and let them govern their way. I bet if we left Afghanistan Now, out of Iraq, stopped threatening to bring democracy to all, I will bet half my gold that those who believe in terror will move to other targets.

I mean, come on guys, if we just stay home, take care of our problems, shut the fuck up for a change, it will be difficult for them to call us the "evil empire" that must be destroyed. We will just fade into the sunset and be a nation of people for OUR people. What a concept! And that is Ron Paul!

The more that the media black outs things that matter to the general populace, the more, the general populace becomes disenchanted by the corporate media. Even Murdock said, "reputation is everything", because, in media, it is. When the corporate media loses credibility, the status quo will lose a lot of their power with along with it. I feel, and I have to say this is the only positive thing that I'm feeling at the moment, that we have entered an age of enlightenment. People seem to be waking up all over the place. You see it in the comment section on every media source. I hope this ends up turning into more than just collective awareness, but for some reason, I'm hopeful that it will.

aside from all the good things you can say about him, the special interests call him Dr. No, he doesn't believe we need to bomb countries with brown people while spending ourselves into oblivion doing it in order to be safe and secure in the world, he believes the American people can do pretty much anything the central control freak govt can via the private sector...and do it better, cheaper and more efficiently, and one of my favorites, he feels that giving a private central bank who is accountable to no one the exclusive power to print or create money without any oversight to speak of (just a bunch of political lemmings who nod their heads in agreement with anything that the Bernank says in order to appear wise and to look as if the have the slightest clue as to what the fuck he is talking about) is pretty much a bad idea.

despite those things, the best reason to get behind him now is quite simple...

just look at the competition, look at the other choices.

another 4 years of Obama? I think in his case past performance is a very good indicator of future results.

Newt? the man has spent his entire career being for sale to the highest bidder, he has rolled over on countless issues when it was politically and/or finicaly convenient to do so. I think it's safe to say he has the potential to be as big of a human teleprompter as Obama is now, maybe even more so.

Mitt? see above

not sure why people who bitch and gripe about how things are going now, are so afraid to throw their support behind the one person who might actually change things.

we the people have been doing the right/left paradigm, democan/republicrat shuffle for decades and here we are, broke and getting broker by the second, politically bankrupt and inept, becoming increasingly despised around the world for "exporting democracy" via  tanks and bombs and to make things worse, we are now losing drones left and right.

pretty safe to say the massive bureaucracy we are living (slaving) under now isn't working. not that it should come as a surprise to anybody, America wasn't designed to thrive in this type of environment, in fact it's pretty much the exact opposite of what the whole idea was in the first place.

so why not vote for the one man in this race who still actually believes the constitution and the bill of rights were  damn good ideas and should to be the govts guiding principals?

we're living the alternative and it's only going to get worse...

I saw that headline on Drudge early morn...so I tortured myself by listening to his show in case he discussed it.

Sure 'nuff....the show largely centered around this topic, and also why Newt is such a demon.

He said he has gotten so much blowback from this stance.  One caller named "Lisa" called in and really had her panties in a wad.  (No telling if they were "magic underwear"!).  I almost threw up when she said, "Glenn, I am so upset by this....I have my Bible and you...that's it."  She went on to almost cry in fear and chastised Glenn for even THINKING about voting for Ron Paul.  She basically said Paul is "dangerous" and would be a nightmare.

This illustrated to me how thoroughly and completely the neocons are brainwashed....they couldn't have an independent, critical thought if they tried.  I was so disgusted, and sad for America...that THIS is what we have come to...a bunch of completely irrational, brainwashed people who are total sheep.

I dont trust Glenn Beck one bit....I think he is up to something shady with this "pronouncement".

I agree with you, my puppy for prez, on all counts. Savage and Beck are wild cards, not to be trusted.

Many people who call themselves “evangelicals” are both politically and Biblically naïve. They think they are covering all bases with God by treating the Old Testament and the New Testament on an equal footing, not realizing that the New Testament is a new covenant by God with his church, the followers of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. Therefore, in the hands of politicos such as Newt Gingrich they can be taught to put Jews before Jesus and his church, even to the extent of forgetting that under the new covenant, because Christ was the perfect sacrifice, he completed the work of redemption. He was the final sacrifice.

The old covenant was the covenant of law between God and Israel. The new is the covenant of grace – this covenant goes beyond Israel and Judah to include all the Gentile nations. It is sad that these Christian innocents are fooled by people who claim Christ’s sacrifice wasn’t enough, that they must put Jews before Jesus, even to the extent of supporting a secular manmade Israel and the genocide of the Palestinians.

The Irgun terrorist Menachem Begin boasted he had introduced terrorism to the entire world.

In Hebrews 10:26, the Jewish Christians who were tempted to reject Christ for Judaism were warned that God has not provided any other name under heaven by which they can be saved.

Unfortunately, willful ignorance is no excuse; being saved through grace they had nothing to fear. Jesus taught that we were equal, these people believe that the enemies of Israel are not equal with the Jews and are expendable if the nation of Israel is threatened. As such, they cannot be called followers of Christ.

JR,

these people believe that the enemies of Israel are not equal with the Jews and are expendable if the nation of Israel is threatened. As such, they cannot be called followers of Christ.

I know No True  Christian that believes Jews are above everyone, anyone  else. In HIS eyes all are equal, there is no such thing as Jew or Gentile among Believers.

All are one.

Also, I am sure you know what GOD say's what happens to the armies of the world when they come against the land of Israel.

Christians DO believe that Israel is the Apple of GODS eye,(so stated)Jews were, are HIS chosen people, and HE has a special dispensation /covenant yet to be completed SPECIFICALLY with them. Also as you seem pretty much straight up on your theology,(save the one point I pointed out).

GOD does not BREAK HIS Covenants, with the Jews,or Gentiles. In HIS TIME, all will come to pass, all HIS singular covenants will be completed.(as you know there were more than Two.)

GOD has a separate covenant with Israel, and it still is in force (HE is not a man, and cannot Lie),when HE makes covenants they were completed, or WILL be), in HIS time HE will deal with the Jews(Israelites) that are not Christ believers/followers.

God's word states" HE will bless those that bless Israel, and HE will curse those that curse Israel".........this stands in HIS Covenants. This verse alone has been the one the USA has stood on most firmly since we became a nation, and before, as we also share a common thread through Christ.

God judges no longer judges anyone, Jesus Christ has been handed/given  that authority. No man goes to hell for deeds done, or undone in the flesh,if confessed, and repented of.

The only unpardonable Sin's left are those of UNBELIEF, or taking the Mark of the Beast and BOTH are rights of  Freedom of Choice of/for all humans.

OUR choice while we still draw air in these tents of flesh, once dead too late.

Even after the Catching Away, those that are left, and have NOT taken the MARK, can still be saved.

If they accept God's gift of Grace, and Believe,(change their minds),and their paths (repent), and many will, but unfortunately most will take it be damned eternally, and the saved will be mostly  martyred.

All this excitement over the least worst candidate? Why would Obama over-reach going the other way be any better? Even if he won, he's just the most popular puppet, not the new Dick Tater. He certainly has no chance to end the Fed, no matter how fervently he might wish it to be so.

‘On [that] world, the people are people. The leaders are lizards. The people hate the lizards and the lizards rule the people.’

‘Odd,’ said Arthur, ‘I thought you said it was a democracy?’

‘I did,’ said Ford, ‘It is.’

‘So,’ said Arthur, hoping he wasn’t sounding ridiculously obtuse, ‘why don’t the people get rid of the lizards?’

‘It honestly doesn’t occur to them,’ said Ford. ‘They’ve all got the vote, so they all pretty much assume that the government they’ve voted in more or less approximates to the government they want.’

‘You mean they actually vote for the lizards?’

‘Oh yes,’ said Ford with a shrug, ‘of course.’

‘But,’ said Arthur, going for the big one again, ‘why?’

‘Because if they didn’t vote for a lizard,’ said Ford, ‘the wrong lizard might get in.’

The coming win in Iowa is in the bag for Ron Paul and I want everyone to take note of how important for the first time in history independent media has become in providing the populace with the necessary non-partisan information as it regards to truth and integrity because we have not seen anything yet. I have been watching the morning media and evening media day in and out in order to confirm our worst fears that we are up against a mechanized propaganda machine of false choices, false information and endless fear who use platitudes as a substitute for truth.

Ron Paul who has had confirmed the minimal amount of coverage according to Pew as far back as October (http://thenewamerican.com/usnews/politics/9419-study-confirms-ron-paul-b...) has proven himself to be the only candidate who can take the slow march forward in polling numbers while the media attempted numerous pushes for their status quo candidates. He has withstood:

#1) The Bachmann Rise after Ames

#2) The Perry rise after entrance

#3) The Cain rise after a Fla. Straw poll win (Regardless of Ron Paul winning the majority of all polls this primary season)

And now #4) Newt Gingrich

These fluctations which are primarily reliant upon the endless jibber jabbering of the ADHD public who rarely take time to follow politics are nothing more than blips as evidenced and these recent polls are confirming such. These are Non-Sticky polling numbers because they are reliant upon the MSM saturation with presenting false choices. Throughout this onslaught with minimal coverage Ron Paul's numbers have rose steadily without subsiding since he is impervious to attacks on character and has never in 30 years altered his message.

The morning media loves to discuss the GOP deabtes and show highlights of the back and forth banter attacks between candidates every post debate but a funny thing also occurred yesterday morning..Ron Paul had resoundlingly won the debate and attacked Newt Gingrich on his acceptance of Freddie Mac money. In the MSM if this were a Perry vs Newt slam it would have been repeated for hours on the morning shows but it WAS NOT MENTIONED ONCE in all 3 years of morning talk I had watched. Even more interesting was that Ron Paul was not mentioned once in morning talk and they Newt vs Mitt Paradigm and a focus only on the 10k handshake bet was the clip of the day. Nothing of substance. Althought Perry & Mitt applauded Ron Paul at the end of the debate for opening his eyes to the Fed and citing him having the staunchest supporters this also was passed over. Here is the clip at the last debate:

Mitt Romney Tells Ron Paul That ''He Ignites An Enthusiasm With The People''

As a matter of fact to counter the strength of Ron Paul and his rising Iowa polls and winning the Drake University straw poll exits MSNBC Morning Joe and team of nepotism riddled bobbleheads (Mika, Halperin, Geist)  led with the "Newest Polls" from Fla and SC which all showed Ron Paul with a 9% lead. The reason is that Ron Paul is in a statistical tie in Iowa and almost within the margin of error of New Hampshire BEFORE the Iowa caucuses. Once again this is subtle propaganda to show the Snookites who their 2 choices are.

People should find it ironic that these supposed left leaning stations are smitten with Mitt & Newt (after the Bachman, Cain & Perry) pumps did not show stickiness while they continually ignore Ron Paul. I for one do not believe in coincidence. Take note that the first Ron Paul ad, "Serial Hypocrisy" was flashed all over the morning news and evening news last week in order to curb Newt from gaining too much favor. Romney is the chosen puppet and Newt is a #2 they will cope with if necessary. Yesterday Ron Paul launched what I consider one of the greatest political ads in history and it was directed at Newt Gingrich yet it was omitted on ALL MEDIA.

The Ad is called "Selling Access" and here is the link which drudge featured immediately.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRdqGKA782A

The answer to this is simple...Ron Paul's numbers are becoming too close for comfort and they cannot afford for another anti-Newt ad to sway any more voters towards the Paul camp. The worst nightmare for all cronys, the media which is paid for either being CIA off the books "Assets" of propaganda as confirmed in numerous documents and those reliant upon using our endless growing debt as the source of all their affluence cannot afford a President such as Ron Paul coming to power and closing 900 bases, cutting military contracts 50%, auditing the Fed and CIA budgets and more importantly appointing a D.A. who will hold all criminals accountable for their acts of fraud and treason and they are playing for keeps. Next up to pull out all stops will be the entrance of Chris Christie and if needed Sarah Palin to derail Ron Paul.

Even now as I type this MSNBC for the 2nd consecutive hour is touting Newt & Mitt as if they are the enemy but the only two choices. I fear at what they will do if Paul wins Iowa and truly believe there is a chance they will attempt to cancel elections in 2012. So let us be thankful for sites like Drudge & Zero Hedge for doing their part to connect us and reassure us we are not alone and applaud them for being the true 4th branch of the government that was intended by the founders for the press and never celebrate censorship regardless of supposed greater good that it pro-ports. If you can donate to ZH and support the Ron Paul Money Bomb on Dec. 16th

Let me leave you with this one video which should remind us all of how important it is to have a media of integrity in this nation beholden to nothing but the truth for the greater good of preserving all of our freedoms:

I'm talking about inventing "laws" that apply specifically to females when males are also involved in the act - specifically pregnancy where the foetus is unwanted for any number of reasons that should be the business of the female, as it is her body.  I'm talking about denying her the right to manage her own body, while at the same time ZERO censure or  acknowledgment of the part played by the male.

just trying to understand how that is "libertarian" - for the female that is, I get how "liberating" it is for the dudes.

Here is one possible scenario.  A great many people, Ron Paul supporters included, don't remember how many people like Ron Paul but refuse to vote for him because "their vote would be wasted on a candidate who cannot be elected".

If Ron Paul wins in Iowa, some substantial percentage of those people will decide to vote for Ron Paul after all, since now "he can't win" isn't entirely believable.  Hopefully his campaign understands this, and is putting lots of effort into Iowa.

If Ron Paul manages to win both Iowa and NewHampshire [or close], that might very well start a snowball that cannot be stopped by mainstream media as this entire block of voters who prefer Ron Paul but "won't vote for someone who cannot win" realize HE CAN WIN.

Ron Paul could become a self-fulfilling prophesy.  Let's hope so.

You're either a shill or a tool.

Fuck you, your job is less than the smegma on my cock when I fuck your unsatisfied wife. The second time when she begs me to.

Since you and other junkers still believe in the myth of the American voting machine....

I just won $200 / junk, bitch.

Believe me, the TPTB are pissing their pants over this whole "NOOOOO, RON PAUL IS OUR MAN TO MAKE OUR VOICES HEARD" shit.

TROLOLOL.

/pathos

The sad thing? The really depressingly sad thing? I'm offering a whole new world of difference and repetition, and wanting to get onto the next level... and you "guys" are just pounding the surf allowing TPTB to keep power. I'm sitting here betting them that there's at least a few of you that are open to thought and not muppets... and every time I'm proven wrong, I have to accept money.

Yes, that's the kind of sick thing they do.

So yes, I won a lot of $cash.. but who the fuck cares about fiat when the end is happening. Translated: You won the award. Well done! Special Olympics states we give you a prize... now fuck off while the world burns you twat. I'll take this drink and watch the odious toads laugh about your valiant "Republican dream".... while I plot their demise.

No, we don't believe in the modern electronic voting machines.  That's why we are smart enough to ALWAYS vote with paper ballots.  When the regular ballots are electronic, we vote with absentee ballots, which are always PAPER and thus leave a paper trail.  Sure, even this can be subverted given enough effort and enough insiders handing paperwork, but so far paper-trials more-or-less work.  In gold we trust.  In Deibold we despise.

Ok, here's the voice of the great unwashed, those who aren't in the "great" USA, and who view the elections:

You're a bunch of fucking wankers.Worse than that, you're a bunch of seriously deluded wankers with nukes. Iran is fine, they don't have nukes: you guys, have nukes. Luckily for us, most of the candidates can't find the rest of the world on the map.

Seriously. In any serious country (even Russia), all but two of the Republican candidates would have been laughed out of the room before they signed their names. No, really.

Your vaunted "Republic" is a joke. A sick, sick, sick joke. In most enlightened countries, the Republican base wouldn't exist, because we'd lock them up for being mentally unstable. You know, that whole "25% global prison population" thing? Yep.. in a mature world, that'd be "50% of American voters". Because, really... when we want to think about the world, and someone dribbles some meaningless crap about Jesus, morality, abortion and isn't even mentally capable to place Europe on a map.... we treat them nicely. We sigh. We pat them on the head.

Then we lock them up.

Seriously. Your politics is fucking insane. You're a joke. You have "serious candidates" deep-throating corn-dogs and denouncing gays whilst claiming that the second coming of Christ will happen.

STEP BACK.

TIME TO RE-THINK YOUR INSANITY....

Dateline:  November 7, 2012.

Barack Obama, the first African-American to be elected to the Office of President of the United States of America made history again last night.

He became the first African-American to be elected TWICE to the Office of President of the United States of America.

In a surprise move, he even thanked Ron Paul for his victory in a short speech this morning from the Rose Garden....

"First of all, I'd like to thank the American People for the opportunity to continue the work we have been doing these last four years in correcting the mistakes of the past, particularly of the Bush Administration, and to set America on a course of not only recovery but future greatness in the 21st century."

"I'd like to thank my wife Michelle and my beautiful daughters Sasha and Malia for their steadfast support and love not just during this campaign but for all these many years.  I would not be here now nor would I be the man I am now if it were not for you all."

"I would also like to thank Ron Paul.  No.....really......I would.  Dude.....I owe the next 4 years to you my brother from another mother.  I mean.....all that shit about returning to the gold standard....the origin and history of the Federal Reserve.....all that truther 9/11 bullshit......I mean......that was FUCKING BRILLIANT!!!!"

"I mean....the head fake that you pulled off in Iowa and New Hampshire......and the stupid media conflating wins there in the primary as some sort of national awakening of the conservative sheeple...JESUS !!!.....it was like we planned it from the start !!!!"

"Anyway....thanks again Paul....I owe you one.  In fact, I know a little something about Barney Frank and Chris Dodd.  You'll be able to subpoena them here pretty soon....you know...just a bone to you and your ilk.  It'll be great theatre as it always is.  Bread and Circuses..you know."

Anyway....what else can I say but...... I'M BACCCKKKK.....BITCHEZZZZZZ !!!!!!!

**Chuckle**

You Ron Paul monkies are so easily manipulated.

You're so programmed that anybody who says anything negative about St. Paul it has to be a "RHINO REPUBLICRAT"....YOU MUST BE COMMUNIST !.....YOU LIBERAL FUCKTARD....ETC ETC....BLAH BLAH BLAH.

You idiots are only one step removed from the German people who worshipped Hitler.  Hail the MAN that can save us !!!  Hail Ron Paul !

I was around when everyone thought Nixon was the man who could save the country from Communism and what we got was our assed kicked by Communists and trade agreements with those same Communists who are our Bankers and Manufacturers now.

I was around when I personally thought Reagon was the messiah of the country.  And all he did was introduce the Cheney Doctrine that deficits don't matter and now we're so broke that China now owns us.  Thanks Nixon and Reagan....fuck both of you.

I've seen the liberal fucktards say that Carter was the savior from the era of Nixon and we got the most imcompetent president in history until Obama.  And speaking of him.....EVERY liberal fucktard creamed their pants over the very mention of his name just wanting a chance to see him walk on water.

And now you Paulist Cult members are showing your ignorance and your asses just like before.

If only we can elect this man....THIS ONE MAN....we can change things.

Worthless idiots

Ron Paul is the first I have heard say "End the FED" at the same time as "Cut the guts of the miltary industrial complex" while backing the Constitution even if it limits Congress, the President, the Judiciary.

I know, maybe I'm dreaming, but...
