Silvio! Lets get this party started! Where's my line?
Where's the bunga bunga girls?
Wasnt that the point in the first place?
not many bunga bunga girls in parliament
not that Silvio does not try, he loves to propose hot candidates and Italians do vote for some of them
it's the part where we find out how many MP were bribed or are "secretly", i.e. when it comes to vote, for Silvio instead of against
Go Silvio, go, you are the lesser evil in Italian politics
Stocks/gold can only go up until EU summit.
Wait, I'm confused. I thought stocks could only go up. You're telling me the market can go down too? Oh the horror!
"all hell may soon break loose"?
Would that include gold/silver rocketing ?
Tyler..you may want one of your vast array of sources to spend 5 mins looking into the erruption in the Greek Blogesphere that Eurogendfor have arrived in the country, if true its a defo game changer.
+1 Just about to raise that myself.
From defencenet
""About the last hours say they have arrived in Greece a large paramilitary force of the European Force riot - Eurogedfor - Minutes Stratochorofylakis special unit, through the port of Igoumenitsa, fully equipped with armored vehicles."
The beatings will continue until morale improves!

Defencenet is unreliable-but many Greeks read it for fun.
I don't read Greek.
Will they collect taxes too or electricity bills, or close the borders?
The Greeks will just disengage from the system, good luck with collecting when nobody's home.
If true they had better sneak back over whatever border they came from.
I imagine the Greek people would view this as a military invasion.
Yah Think.
My how blatent is that - Hilter would be so proud. The SS have arrived

It's been a rumour circulating within Greek blogs until now without any verification from official sources except an announcement by the Hellenic Police Force rejecting it, vehemently. incidentally, it states that the European Gendarmerie Force arrived in Greece for a coordinated joint exercice for riot control.
I'd be inclined to believe official announcements discrediting conspirational rumours as much as the next person - if - the Greek republic wasn't imploding - and - I didn't already think that Troika's private army was already late for the party.
Is there even more hell to break loose??
No there isn't. Everything is bullish. Now please move along sheep.
Even if it falls they will find away to drive up the Euro. Italy 's unemployment for will skyrocket at least for underage prostitutes. Only willing to spend on parties as long as tax payers are paying for it.
everybodyknows Berlusconi is the Patsy for the Depression - you think anyone else is standing up to take the job?
Have they passed their 2010 budget yet?
If he doesn't get enough votes, that would be so incredibly bullish I'd practically wet myself in excitement.
Mr Bunga-Bunga is a dirty old man.

Why is it that every other post on ZH speculates that all hell is about to break loose, when in fact the markets seem to receive all news in the same way, with a yawn of indifference? Couldn't you please ration the wolf-crying a little bit, to make it easier for us readers to figure out which news stories that may actually have some significance and which ones are just fluff?
Oh folks, it's his 51st vote of confidence. And he won the other 50. He's the great survivor ...
When the casino is rigged, the house always wins the games. However, when the casino building itself is about to fall, even the BEST structural engineers can't say what "bad weather" event will collapse the structure.
Knowing the current trend of the market, probably something like a legit European solution would be what causes a stock market crash. Europe found a solution? SELL EVERYTHING!!!!

Try down the hall
[I woke up on the wrong side of the market this morning, Iguess.]
If you follow the site you know you are getting news everyone else is going to report later. Unless they can figure out how to ignore it.
What we need is a good ol' fashioned Italian volcano eruption.
Berlusconi had that one inside Ruby
I don't see the for/against numbers on this coverage.
The preliminary vote tally won't be ready before Q1 2012.
The Official Tally is expected by August 2012.
Final Tally comes out December 2012.
Then the Re-Counts start.
Court challenges.
And so on...
And so on...
if the government falls, it will be cause for celebration, and spreads on Italy's debt would go down. no other new government could be worse or do less than this government. I should know I live in Italy.
I didn´t get invited to the Bunga Bunga parties..so I would vote him out...
Trichet gives up (actually he still has three weeks), and admits that Europe is FUBAR:
"[...] The ECB, itself, has reached the limits of what it can do, Mr Trichet argues. [...] But he makes clear that the ECB will not act as a “lender of last resort” to governments. [...] “I think that the ECB has done all it could to be up to its responsibilities in exceptional circumstances … The ultimate backstop is, of course, the governments. [...]"
Thank God politicians know what they are doing...

Quite ;)
On the other hand, though the people are never wrong - we get the government we deserve.
As for euro-politicians, they are far more akin to dictators than mere politicians. Since when have they ever listened to the opinions of the people on any matter? I can't remember when, but it must be some time in the 1940's or something...
= = = = =
Just in from Frau Kanzlerin: Angela Merkel, speaking this morning, is playing down expectations of a quick solution to the eurozone crisis. Reuters reports she has said that the euro crisis cannot be solved overnight and there is no "big bang" solution. (Same link as per above...)
He will survive by a measly 2 votes and the ponzi will continue unabated. Gotta make it dramatic for the proles. Where have we seen this script before?
are only hookers allowed to vote?
Are they having a second vote ?
I think the second chamber is voting, now. The first just voted. Besides that I can't tell much. At least C-SPAN has a nice little vote counter when they do this stuff =P
