MAke sure that you understand this: you and me have to work hard to earn money, there is free money only for the banks.

I feel the same way. I like to believe the values were there at one point in time. Maybe I am insan, who knows. I keep telling myself "screw it I'm going to play by their rules' but I can't bring myself to do it. Not out of fear of being punished ,but because I have this antiquated ritual of examining my conscious every night.
It seems the unexamined life may not be worth living, but it can be extremely profitable.
Recognizing the deck is stacked against you is one thing. Continuing to demand to be dealt in is another. Anger that others have no problem screwing you is a third. Trying to game the system, but failing to even start because you are bogged down by what appears to be outmoded morals, in effect trapped by your old conditioning, is a fourth.
This mental hamster wheel is a trap. We don't need to play the game mentally or physically. But we are dealing ourselves in on a daily basis by our participation. If just 20% of us were to withdraw 20% of our daily spending it would collapse the system. The fear is that doing so might not collapse the system and thus result in our being screwed again, this time directly by our hand.
A system such as this is pure evil.
The reason you and many, many others feel this way is because your emotional response mechanisms have been bred into you over hundreds of generations. Consider old proverbs such as "The tall blade of grass gets cut down", or "The nail that sticks up gets hammered down". From whence did these arise - what kind of experiences shaped these warnings?
What about the various punishments meted out for treason and or other crimes against the state, such as being hung, drawn & quartered? Think it had any effect on conditioning behavior, and true to Darwin, enabled those who adapted well to submission to thrive & succeed? What about the role religion played(s) in terms of reinforcing these concepts of "good behavior"?
I've often said the primary difference between regular intelligent people and those who attended the very finest schools isn't academics. Rather, it's the routing that takes place between those directed towards the various professions, such as medicine, law, research, etc and those who "get the truth" and immediately go for the brass ring.
Bernanke, Geithner, the whole crew, they understand full well what is occurring and what they are doing. But they really are different than me & you: they come from a long line of people who have always understood the game, and have taught each successive generation the necessary rules to win.
In some sense, I pity you. CogDis writes frequently on this topic. My only advice would be to "grow up", get a clue, and try to live the rest of your life with some awareness of what's really goin' down. Don't be a Denninger - it will only result in sadness.

I'd say nearly 80% - BUT - only if accompanied by a matching lowering of taxes. So, if no appropriations land in your district, then NO taxes should be withheld from your constituents. Sounds like a deal to me.
You assume that their districts were contributing more in taxes than they took out in the first place. Not necessarily true for many of those southern Rs.

I watched a much shorter expose on Common Purpose some time ago, so I'm familiar with it. I'm just getting started watching the video you've posted. I can tell you that Common Purpose is indeed a communist front, and beyond that, all communist fronts are centrally controlled from Moscow. I am watching Bloomberg and seeing all these 'leaders' stand up and talk about how good this bill is. They also point to how this will force the BBA to be voted on. See my post above. What a smoke job.

Republicans should have insisted that the BBA must pass at least one chamber of congress. That would have been a compromise. Tea partiers wanted it to be sent to the states (pass both houses).
One chamber would have allowed for a real fight on the BBA with a hope to get it passed in the future. Just a vote is a non-starter and a joke.
