Today "money" = debt.

Inflation or deflation are just fancy words used to represent the tools for wealth confiscation.  Totally sad state of affairs.

Precious's picture

What a relief to know what that they are thinking about the "recent growth period inflation of economic committee prices and policy rates."

Obviously they are much well informed.

"waxing: 1"

Wax on, wax off, as The Bernank shows bushy tailed, bright eyed Federal Reserve interns his QE machine, on orientation day.

Sounds like he's burning a candle on both ends.

policy totally missing the f'n point. i guess it's not benny's fault. but "more accommodative policy" will just massage figures for a few months while the underlying problems fester.

Found in proximity to "Brazilian"? Or was that inflation?

papaswamp's picture

So basically they didn't say anything except 'we have no fucking clue what to do'.

Cognitive Dissonance's picture

 Deflation: 1; Trillion: 1; Quadrillion: 0; Gold: 0; and... waxing: 1.

Sometimes what is not said is so much more important than what is.

DoChenRollingBearing's picture

YES, Yes, yes.  The dog that did not bark.  They do NOT want us buying gold.

Shh...

Very true re Ron Paul and making preparations.

Sounds like you have been reading suspicious blogs!

Government help?  No, thanks, move along to the next guy.  Please.

Snidley Whipsnae's picture

DCRB... You know and I know and everyone reading this site knows that those azz hats at the Fed are having many discussions about how to hold gold prices in check.

The published minutes are for all us sheeple.

Cognitive Dissonance's picture

The published minutes are for all us sheeple.

This is something that is never discussed. Do we really think the Fed meeting minutes represent what is actually said at these meetings? Or is it all just another carefully groomed script designed to get the dogs barking and howling at the moon?

Don Mclean sings to the Fed...

A long, long time ago...
I can still remember
How that music used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my chance
That I could make those people dance
And, maybe, they’d be happy for a while.

But february made me shiver
With every paper I’d deliver.
Bad news on the doorstep;
I couldn’t take one more step.

So bye-bye, miss american pie.
Drove my chevy to the levee,
But the levee was dry.
And them good old boys were drinkin’ whiskey and rye
Singin’, "this’ll be the day that I die.
"this’ll be the day that I die."

Zedge Hero's picture

You mean this right?

Long Long Time ago…..
I can still remember
How that money used to make me smile.
And I knew if I had my choice
That I could hear those peoples voice
And, maybe, they’d be happy for a while.

But September 08 made me shiver
And I began collecting Silver
Bad news on the doorstep;
I couldn’t take one more step.

I can’t remember if I cried
When I read about the housing slide,
But something touched me deep inside
The day the money died.

So bye-bye, to the American lie..
Drove my stock to the top,
And the market went dry.
And them Wall Street boys were thinking risky with lies
Saying’, "this’ll be the day that we die.
"this’ll be the day that we die."

Did you write the loans for the Bank,
And do you have faith in Ben Bernank,
for if the Government  tells you so?
Do you believe in too big to fail,
Is you house now finally up for Sale?
And can you teach me how to refinance real slow

Well, I know that you’re still in love with this
cause I see it in your complete abyss
We really both can choose
Man, I hate those derivatives too.

I was a lonely disgruntled American buck
With a sick sensation that started to suck
But I knew I was out of luck
The day the money died.

We started singin’,
"bye-bye, to the american lie."
Drove my stock to the top,
And the market went dry.
And them Wall street boys were thinkng risky with lies
Saying’, "this’ll be the day that we die.
"this’ll be the day that we die."

Now for three years we’ve been on our own
While Bank’s got fat on a rollin’ loan,
But that’s not how it used to be.
When geithner says live within our means,
As A puppet from the powers that be
But a silence came from you and me,

Oh, and while the US was looking down,
China is stealing it’s thorny crown.

 Europe union was adjourned;
Another bailout was returned.

And while Obama read a book on marx,
The people protested in the park,
And we sold gold in the dark
The day the money died.

We were singin’,
"bye-bye, to the american lie."
Drove my stock to the top,
And the market went dry.
And them Wall street boys were thinkng risky with lies
Saying’, "this’ll be the day that we die.
"this’ll be the day that we die."

bets, and debts in a summer sweat.
The stock fell off cause of Euorpean debt,
World Markets high and falling fast.
It’s still too high for the price of gas.
The politicians debt bill did pass,
With downgrade rating in a flash

Now the European air was filled with fumes
All the riots were just starting to exhume.
We all got up to fight,
Oh, but we never got the right
`cause the FED tried to print some more
The money they added was making us poor.
Do you recall the horror
The day the money died?

We were singin’,
"bye-bye, to the american lie."
Drove my stock to the top,
And the market went dry.
And them Wall street boys were thinkng risky with lies
Saying’, "this’ll be the day that we die.
"this’ll be the day that we die."

Oh, and there we were all in one place,
401 k’s all lost in space
With no time left to start again.
So come on: Ben be nimble, Ben be quick!
The Federal Reserve and that magic stick
Cause the printing press is the devil’s only friend.

Oh, and as I watched him on the stage
My hands were clenched in fists of rage.
No angel born in hell
Could break that Chairmen’s spell.
And as the Gold climbed high into the night
To light the path that was actually right,
I saw Bernanke laughing with delight
The day the money died

He was even singin’,
"bye-bye, to the american lie."
Drove my stock to the top,
And the market went dry.
And them Wall street boys were thinkng risky with lies
Saying’, "this’ll be the day that we die.
"this’ll be the day that we die."

I bought some gold and sang the blues
Hoping for some happy news

Banks got tired and burned away.
I went down to the old coin store
Where I’d bought silver years before,
But the man there said my money wouldn’t pay.

And in the Wall street: the brokers screamed,
The CEO’s cried, and oil creamed.
But not a word was spoken;
The global markets all were broken.
And the two men I admire most:
Ron Paul and the Thomas Jefferson’s ghost,

They caught the last train for the coast
The day the money died.

And they were even singin’,
"bye-bye, to the american lie."
Drove my stock to the top,
And the market went dry.
And them Wall street boys were thinkng risky with lies
Saying’, "this’ll be the day that we die.
"this’ll be the day that we die."

 they were even singin’,
"bye-bye, to the american lie."
Drove my stock to the top,
And the market went dry.
And them Wall street boys were thinkng risky with lies
Saying’, "this’ll be the day that we die.
"this’ll be the day that we die."

intermeeting

bwahahahahahahahaha

that's not a real word. but then again, the fed doesn't create real money.

NotApplicable's picture

I'd say they don't create sound money, as the debt is real, and could be chosen as an instrument of exchange by the masses. Thing is, only a fool (or someone under coercion) would ever choose to exchange it at par, instead of discounting it for risk.

fishface's picture

the inflationary use of Inflation will lead to the use of Quadrillion eventually

baby_BLYTHE's picture

yep. just keeping tacking on zeros, that is all the FED knows how to do.

Let them eat iPads's picture

I don't see the words "meddling" or "desperate" anywhere in the word cloud.

HelluvaEngineer's picture

or "whores" - I expected to see that one quite a lot

The one word to rule them all:  Bullshit !

OrestesPenthilusQuintard's picture

FOMC should go piss up a rope.

PulauHantu29's picture

Lindsey Lohan and Kim Kardashian are not even mentioned once?

How odd. No wonder Americans don't read the Fed minutes.

baby_BLYTHE's picture

according to her Twitter only a few months ago, Lohan was very concerned about her loss of purchasing power due to the FED printing money

NotApplicable's picture

LOL That's awesome! I was about to profess my new found love for her when I saw it was a paid endorsement for the National Inflation Association.

I wonder how many tweets it would take to get this into the minds of all of the twits ? Even if the twits don't understand it, they'll still complain and raise hell if they believe everyone else is.

Now, I wonder how much Kim K will cost?

Let them eat iPads's picture

I do see "real" in there. That could attract the housewives viewers.

PulauHantu29's picture

Boondoggle, Palozza, Circus, Screwing, Stealing.....not even mentioned once...not once?

Extrapolate that word out as many times as needed to form a synthetic 'economy'.

Inflation: 29; Deflation: 1

Is this a feint, or real?

Silverhog's picture

Are you sure Clusterfuck was not mentioned?

knukles's picture

In the concluding paragraph.  But only once, so not enuf to show in the cloud

NotApplicable's picture

Actually they used the code-word "committee" in its place.

OldPhart's picture

hmmm, Inflation (29), Debt (19) and Unemployment (15) as high utility words in the statement.

A lot of words to avoid saying 'stagflation'

Looking forward to the future meeting where "Holy Shit!", "What have we done?!", "The mob has a rope!!" and "AAAHHGGggghh <*gurgle*>" are high use phrases.

What a bunch of crap, we're reduced to waiting on whether or not the failed FED does or doesnt do more of whats already failed a few times.

Its all BS, QE is now just the FED's last tool and now just simply a carrot on a stick to be dangled out in front. Go ahead and QE with gold 3x as high as the first one and the dollar 25 points lower, I dare ya!

rufusbird's picture

I kind of question if everyone is really waiting or that is just a construct of the media. An investor asked me what they I though Ben would say before the meeting. I said, It doesn't matter what he says. It is what he has to do that matters. If the Feds doesn't keep artificially holding interest rates low their portfolio will blow up. Expect more of the same. We can't really expect them to come out and say that can we?

SheepDog-One's picture

Well at some point soon reality smacks head into all this artificial BS. Something will do it, and everyone will be looking around going 'Wow what the hell happened we didnt see it coming'!

One thing is certain all thru history reality comes crashing back in.
