Noting an increase in the chance for a multi-front war, OC Home Front Command Maj.-Gen. Eyal Eisenberg revealed on Monday that Palestinian terror groups used a new and advanced rocket in their attacks against Israel during the recent round of fighting in the Gaza Strip.

 “After the ‘Arab Spring’, we assess that a winter of radical Islam will arrive and as a result the possibility for a multi-front war has increased including the potential use of weapons of mass destruction,” Eisenberg said during a conference on the Home Front at the Institute for National Security Studies in Tel Aviv.

Eisenberg revealed that during the recent round of fighting between Israel and Palestinian terror groups in the Gaza Strip, a new weapon was fired into Israel. “We discovered a new weapon and as a result we instructed the public to take extra precautions and to seek cover under two roofs and not just one,” Eisenberg said.

I was living in 8th & Waverly Place and working near Union Square on 9/11.  I had quite a few colleagues of middle-eastern origin.  That morning, EVERY SINGLE ONE of them was terrified.  A Pakistani girl cried.  Then, when we as a country started demonizing Muslims, some of them got beat up, routinely denied service and generally lived in fear of their own safety ever since.  Now, I don't profess to know exactly WHO committed such an unforgivable act against humanity that morning, but I am pretty certain that we rushed into judgment and still haven't conducted a thorough investigation.  The whole incident got swept under the rug and we were told to fear brown people and that we need the Patriot Act for our own safety.  

Now, doing a very simple math and seeing who ultimately benefited, I wouldn't put it past anyone including (or especially) Israel/AIPAC.  It would be extremely naive to do otherwise.

I recommend Strive for Truth by Rabbi Dressler if you're at all spiritual, I like to read some Jewish philosophy so I don't think I'm anti-semetic but there are some secular jews who have caused a lot of destruction.

No my foolish friends.  Both the Israelis and the Palestinians have legitmiate issues that require an immense about of world diplomacy to resolve.  The goal is to satisfy both sides with minimal further bloodshed.  I know the majority of Israelis feel this way and am I likewise certain that the majority of Palestinians desire the dignity and freedom that derives from a sovereign nation.  It can be achieved if both sides negotiate in earnest free of radical involvement on either end.
