Friday Humor: Final Chance For Fed Flight Lessons

Tyler Durden's picture

The social bubble may be on the verge of popping, but that doesn't mean that various soon to be extinct offshots can't provide cheap bang for the taxpayer buck. Such as this particular offer which we are fairly certain the Chairman, with Willem Buiter whispering in his ear, is taking a long, hard look at...

You can put a lot of 1's and zero's in this (Ben being a zero) but it won't hold all the $100 bills required to save himself from being the worst Fed Chair

Helicopters beat the air into submission.

Everyone else flies.

I know what is good for me, staying home with FSX Deluxe.

I like the challenge of getting a 747 into a 160 mph headwind to perch on tiny 1000 foot strips in a hurricane.

Years ago I logged some hours in a 152, then 172 and last Archer. I learned enough to understand the right seat with it's navigational array to keep us on track. I was a better nav than a fly anyhow.

Going to need something a little larger than a Robinson 22 me thinks.

He'll need a Russian Mil V-12

"...take to the skies above Long Island..."?

Is that the first fiat target area?

The Brooklyn Bridge will be jammed this rush hour with people trying to follow Ben's yellow (very pretty) chopper.  Forget about the L.I.E.

Maybe his first drop is the Hamptons!

Oh wait...  that's where the fiat always winds up.

I tell you what... 60+ hours flight school, 20+ hours fuel, air time, ground time etc etc etc and maybe you will solo.

Hell we used to play in a large box in the sky near Camp David. Stalls, recoveries etc. Fun times. You puke, you clean up.

The price of gasoline is starting to deflate quickly.  Who knows where deflation gets out of control?  Bernanke is rolling fool's dice if he thinks he can get the deflation genie back in to the bottle once it's out.  Bernanke better wake up and start printing.  Now.

Been too late for a while now- there's no working transmission mechanism, unless he throws that helicopter money into the FB ipo at just the right rate, and enough people jump on the bandwagon to collect the illusory "profits" from it and cycle that credit money back into the economy.

The whole thing is idiocy- they killed the golden goose that was the US, and now they expect to collect interest on it?  Fuck that, I'm out.  I live in an area where we still know how to work and produce- and that's not a small thing.  I have been pushing for a long time to drop the FRN and move to local currency, and will continue to do so- a year ago, that made me the crazy guy, six months ago I started making converts, and recently, a decent handful have gotten on-board- some of them are stronger hands and more devoted to reclaiming the currency than I am, and are forming networks and making converts of their own.

Don't forget, any one of us can make an exponential function, if we're willing to put in the time, and can take a beating or two along the way.  Once things reach a certain support level, they take on a life of their own.
