FTMFW Quote Of The Day

Tyler Durden's picture

Ironically with Europe imploding, it is America that is the source of our quote du jour (via BBG):

Let's just give Obama unlimited powers to fix all government.... and indefinitely detain anyone for "domestic terrorism purposes" as well (wait, that already happened) Sure. Why not. If we felt like it we would chart how under Obama, debt held by the public will have increased by over $5 trillion by the end of his first term, compared to $6.3 trillion under all other presidents. We don't feel like it.

The vast criminal government machine is aware that it will soon be completely revealed for all to see - hence we are now seeing the Constitution and Bill Of Rights shredded in preparation for squashing any/all dissenting voices.

Good program on PRN which keeps one abreast of the rampaging tyranny we are facing. It is indeed time to panic!

"For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments"
"For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever"
- America, you're fucked

I recall when Episodes I-III of Star Wars was released, and the plot by Senator Palpatine to take over the government and consolidate all power to the Supreme Chancellor was revealed.... the "liberals" gave George Lucas credit for describing what was soon to come in America.

I scorned that point of view, knowing how many many years before George had written the original script. So, no way.

Yet, now I recant that scorn. I don't know if George consciously understood how close his Palpatine plot would sync with the real life shenanigans that TPTB are up to these days, but there is an undeniable parallel.

Who knows, maybe George was subconsciously drawing on a an archetypal unfolding of what the universe has in store for mankind in this time frame.

Just remember though.... Palpatine was destroyed in the end. The prophecy was fulfilled, and balance was restored to the force.

Was that a goose stepping on my grave?

Was that a jack boot falling?

Is that a ghost on my welcome mat?

Is that a monster calling?

Any powers granted should be conditional on a certain niumber of personnel cuts.  Otherwise he is just taking initiative to protect the unions.  By reorganizing on a large scale no one will be able to understand the organization to understand what needs to be done.
