First you co-opt the media, then you co-opt the judicial system and voila, the kleptocracy is complete
What a Fucking Load of fucking crap! As if I needed another reason to hate GW Bush, Fucking John Roberts in an asshole! The constitution is officially DEAD! Prepare patriots prepare!
between this health care decision and the coming fiscal cliff, layoffs are about to absofuckinglutely SKYROCKET
John Roberts: "LET THE CONFISCATION BEGIN".
... and shareholders bail. That's called "rational man".
It's time for some state governers to step up & tell .gov to go fuck itself.
Let's see... the states owe Uncle Sugar how many billion in UE benefit loans again? They haven't even started paying interest yet, let alone principal. Every time some state AG gets all mouthy you start seeing stories in the news about the interest payments; then everyone STFU and GBTW.
Not to mention they've got their hands out waiting for the "robo-signing" settlement, as they have no chance to come up with a workable budget otherwise.
Yea we are pretty much Fucked ... The whole system is corrupt & bought off. It will probably collapse soon enough.
YEP! Civil WAR PART DEUX!
I like the way the word cloud shows "power" "government" and "tax" larger than "individual" and "justice".
It's funny cuz it's true.
I think Lew Rockwell hit the nail on the head today when he wrote, " John Marshall, though this was no surprise to the Anti-Federalists, who correctly saw the Constitution as a centraizing, big-government coup against the Articles."
And to anyone who thinks otherwise, I always ask, "Why else do you think they would close ALL of the doors and windows in the heat of a Philly July?"
Back then the "Sunshine Laws" were litteral.
Indeed yet another sad day for those whom truly love this country (or what it was intended) we call America.
I can just about make out the word ‘Constitution’ in there. I think I’m right in saying that is what explains what a federal government can do. Perhaps instead of producing a 193 page document, they could have simply read that, it would have been a lot quicker.
I like how the cloud align the words:
* "states see individuals"
* "power act independent"
and for the win:
* "purchase justice business"

Tax the rich to pay for the poor, tax the healthy to pay for the sick.
Next up....
Tax the skinny to pay for the fat?
Tax the happy people to pay for the sad?
Tax the...
Well, how else could they possibly achieve equality? Gonna have to make everybody equally poor, sick and unhappy!
Their goal seems to be to turn every American into an impoverished, depressed vegetable on life support.
depressed? haha there's some great pills available for only your $10 copay....
Well, thats where the money is at!
You know your country is in a hole when it takes 193 pages to explain why it is legal for the government to do what a single sentence of the Constitution says it can't do.
As I sit here hoping to see the smoke that signals that the Goths have come!

Oh, they're here. Today's version is just s bit more introverted.

I knew it!! No matter where you live, deep inside we're all socialists. Even you guys are!
Five people can hardly speak for 300M+ individuals. All they can do is to wield the forces of evil over us, as delegated (or not) by the Sheeple.
It's nothing but a con-game without any moral basis, and they are nothing more than the gang that's currently winning it.
Actually, my comment was meant as a joke. While in the US there are still some left who fight for true liberty, here in Europe even so called liberal parties like the LibDems in the UK or the German FDP are nothing but socialists.
It takes 193 pages to justify tyranny on small business?
Twenty-first Century Hydra?
Funny how the 2 largest words appear to be "States""Power", and this law seems to take all of that away.
key word is tax. Employment to population ratio is going to have another leg down from 58.7% to 55% ..which is at least another 10 million jobs lost.. 10 milion jobs that pay payroll taxes and income taxes. Where is new tax revenue going to come from??? This insurance tax is one answer.
next is no more paper money .. all electronic so to capture all taxes.
they will tax the shit out of everything they can
or, bust?
Cue underground economy explosion a la former USSR in 3... 2...
Martin Armstrong has been opining of late how gold will be the penultimate underground currency.
I was going to say that as well.. but I suppose I don't want to come out and support such things.. better yet, I say cue self employment.. in the sense of employing oneself to do services one might have normally spend money on. I.E. grow own food, cut own hair or have spouse cut hair, clean own house, cut own grass, do own taxes, etc. self employment bitchez!
No need to read the whole decision, if our owners want the rules changed they will just change them back.
I will enjoy the election season where Mittens will be forced to say he will appeal something he was the inspiration for.
Bring out the clowns!

get use to it folks, soup lines and tent cities
Every instituion is corrupt in this shithole of a country. Flags need to fly at half mast this fourth of July mourning the death of both the constitutionn and the declaration of independence.
There are times to keep your head down and times to fight. This will awaken the barbarians at the gates - corporatocracy through taxation will no longer go unpunished.
End Tyranny - Embrace Freedom
usa july 4th 1776 to june 28 2012...ussa june 28 2012 to..??
It's a damn good thing Obama's campaign pledge of no new taxes on the middle class is still in good shape. Can people not see what is staring them straight in the face with these fucking politicians? I mean, open your fucking eyes. There is NO good outcome I can see to fix anything at this point.
If the law as written and voted on by Congress did not contain the word "Tax", as it was signed into law it did not contain the word "Tax", how the hell can they "Tax" us? Tax on what? Income? What about people who have no income?
WTF?
Here is my Word Cloud:
FUCK YOU JOHN ROBERTS.
I can't wait to see what the Fed.GOV is going to force me to buy or be fined, I mean taxed.
Want to buy a Toyota? OK, but you have to pay the "didn't buy a Government Motors" fine, I mean tax.
The "Eat your f'ing peas" fine, I mean tax. The "Get a gym membership, you fat bastard" fine, I mean tax.
The possibilities are, simply, endless.
Federal government tyranny does not flow from the commerce clause, it flows the 16th amendment authorizing the income tax, the direct tax on persons.
The income tax is where control flows from.
Whether it be charities, and churches and what they can do and say, whether it be selective audits of political enemies, whether it be what corporations can spend on, IRAs, 401ks, what we can donate (remember Clinton's underwear), what size house we can buy (mortgage deduction not for over $1M), the alternative minimum tax, whether we can take money out of the country, and whether we can even leave the country. And what health care we must buy.
And we thought the Europeans were fucked.
largest: "States" "Power" "See" "Insurance" "Act" "Tax"
My interpretation: The Supreme Court recognizes the threat of state secession, and the implied threat of a New Civil War, and they are encouraging / hastening for it.
Did anyone else notice how much that cloud looks like the bottom of a shoe?
"KY" doesn't appear? ...not even once?
I am surprised.
LOL
Exactly.
Or "Bend Over"
Or "Death Panels"
"States, Tax, Insurance, Power"
Hmmm....
for NSA?HLS/all fed gov: fuck off.
So, we have a tax, actually labled as a penalty, that does not apply equally to all (i.e. those who have insurance) ...
I call BULLSHIT! ...
The most straightforward reading of the individual mandate is that it commands individuals to purchase insurance. But, for the reasons explained, the Commerce Clause does not give Congress that power. It is therefore necessary to turn to the Government’s alternative argument: that the mandate may be upheld as within Congress’s powerto “lay and collect Taxes.” Art. I, §8, cl. 1. In pressing its taxing power argument, the Government asks the Court to view the mandate as imposing a tax on those who do not buy that product. Because “every reasonable construction must be resorted to, in order to save a statute from unconstitutionality,” [...] the question is whether it is “fairly possible” to interpret the mandate as imposing such a tax, [...] CHIEF JUSTICE ROBERTS delivered the opinion of the Court with respect to Part III–C, concluding that the individual mandate may be upheld as within Congress’s power under the Taxing Clause. ...
Had to stop reading. We now have a Schrodinger's tax.
Don't be an ass. The Law is what you are told. Nothing more.
Now eat your peas.
Anything that will tip this dysfunctional m----- f----- over the edge is going to end up being a good thing.
We will never extricate ourselves from the kleptocracy until they piss off enough people to reach critical mass. This might help, long term.
Looking for a silver lining here.
Beginning in 2014, those who do not comply with the mandate must make a “[s]hared responsibility payment” to the Fed- eral Government. §5000A(b)(1). The Act provides that this “penalty” will be paid to the Internal Revenue Service with an individual’s tax- es, and “shall be assessed and collected in the same manner” as tax penalties. §§5000A(c), (g)(1).
It's a tax. Supreme Court says so.....
Gimme a clue...how much is this going to cost ummmm..46 million americans?
http://usgovinfo.about.com/od/medicarehealthinsurance/a/insurancestats.htm
No date on the article, looks like 2007? Are these 46 million going to pay c. $3,000 so will have to stump up $138 billion that, presumably, they didnt think they needed? How many actually abused the health care system? 1%, 5% or 10%? So once again, around 90% of people who are healthy and who don't need health insurance now have to pay for it? Sounds like a tax to me! Who needs 75% of Homeland security or the pentagon or the CIA or NASA or....etc etc. Sounds like the insurance lobby paid a few million to a few judges and the POTUS is putting upa smoke screen. It doesn' tmatter what its called "penalty" or "tax"; its a regular payment to insurance companties they didnt have before and is backed by fines paid to the Government if they choose not to avoid paying premiums. I wonder how much the insurance companies can increse premiums by before someone notices and we have "fraudsurancegate".
The Affordability Factor
In 2007 the Census Bureau reported that more than 14 million people without health insurance earned annual incomes of at least $50,000, with 7.2 million of them making over $75,000.
In December 2007, the Association of Health Insurance Plans issued a report showing that nationwide annual premiums for private health insurance policies averaged from $2,613 for individuals to $5,799 for families.
Thanks SCOTUS! Now when I get my sorry ass kicked for lying about my fake medals, I'll probably have some type of coverage to help pay for treatment.
What I see...
"Individuals" is much smaller than "States" or "Power"
freedom is nonexistent.
