Gadaffi's Supposedly Arrested Son, Very Much Free, Hobnobbing With Reporters At Tripoli's Rixos Hotel

When we said yesterday, while presenting live video of the "alleged" Libyan revolution, that "Since everyone is blatantly lying, on both sides of the conflict, we leave it to readers to decide what is actually happening." Which is why we can understand why some may have gotten the impression that Gadaffi's son Saif al Isam was arrested, after the Libyan rebel movement first reported this, and the ICC subsequently confirmed. Because it turns out he is anything but. According to Reuters, "Saif al Islam, the son of Libya leader Muammar Gaddafi who rebels and the International Criminal Court had been arrested, arrived in the early hours of Tuesday at the Tripoli hotel where foreign reporters have been staying." The following live blog from SkyNews merely confirms what we said yesterday: namely that Libyans on both sides of the divided have taken to doing what the developed (and for now, far less revolutionary) world does so well on a daily basis - lie to everyone about everything.

From SkyNews:

The leader's 39-year-old son, who is wanted by the International Criminal Court, was seen by several journalists at Tripoli's Rixos hotel.

It had been reported that two of Col Gaddafi's sons, Saif al Islam and Mohammed, had been captured by the rebels.

But Said was also been filmed being greeted by supporters in streets near the Rixos hotel. He told reporters his father was safe and well but did not reveal the leader's whearabouts.

It comes after it was claimed Col Gaddafi's compound in the capital was being bombed by Nato warplanes as forces loyal to the dictator make what could be a final stand.

Al Arabiya TV station reported that rebel sources had said the longstanding leader's base was coming under bombardment as clashes continued in the city.

Anti-government forces aim to maintain the control they gained over the majority of the city on Sunday night.

There have been reports of violence near the Bab al Aziziyah compound and around the Rixos hotel in the city's centre.

Reuters reported Al Arabiya TV as saying a third son, Saadi, has also been captured.

There are also unconfirmed reports that Col Gaddafi's youngest son Khamis Gaddafi, who runs a section of the Libyan army called the Khamis Brigade, has been found dead.

But so far there has been no sign of the embattled leader himself.

There has been much speculation about his whereabouts - Sky's foreign affairs correspondent Lisa Holland has said she believes he is still in Tripoli.

And, as yesterday, we conclude with the latent question: how long until the counterrevolution, and the latest slaughter of all those who yet again played the Brent-WTI compression trade, only to get carted out feet first.

This is NOT the story we have been told.

This is not Gadaffi ruling over Tripoli with Gestapo-like secret police.

He has spent billions of dollars on water supply for Tripoli. The gov't gives $50,000 (USD in dinars) to newly wedded couples. There is free education of high quality through 4 years of university.

It's a city of 1 million people and he is NOT hated there. It's a tribal country. The western tribes like him. The eastern tribes do not. NATO signed on with the eastern tribes.

And let's make one other thing clear, here. NATO's UN mandate was to protect civilians. That FAILED. They, in th past 2-3 weeks, tossed out the UN mandate. Now they radio to advancing rebels what Gadaffi forces are ahead of them and tell them when to advance (after they bomb those forces). It's overt air support for a bunch of muslim tribes from the east.

If there was more time, Russia and China would show up with air support and announce they are going to protect civilians and then bomb the rebels, who clearly are advancing into a civilian city, the capital.

Demand for U.S. stocks from overseas, especially China and other fast-growing countries, could alleviate the pressure from the expected baby boomer equity sell-off.

But the tight historic correlation between demographic trends and the stock market "portends poorly for equity values," the researchers said.

Real stock prices will likely decline until 2021, to about 13 percent below the 2010 levels and will not return to their 2010 levels until 2027, according to the researchers' model, based on historical patterns.

Apparently journalists from Al Jazeera and CNN have been threatening other journalists to stop mentioning certain words, like mercenary or al-queda to describe the heroic freedom-(oil and gold)-loving rebels.

One RT reporter had death threats (From a CNN "journalist", or military intel pretending to be one) and another is missing because they reported the truth instead of towing the NATO party line. Nobody knows what is going on outside their hotel in Tripoli, but it is clear that it is not only the Libyan army fighting the rebels - some of the hotel staff at the Rixos are even going out there to defend Tripoli against the rebels infront of the journalists' eyes, but the msm only have pictures of smiling faces beating images of Gadaffi with shoes.

This is another great example of the first casualty of war.

That's right Tyler, this is only the end of the first stage of a Revolution. Now comes second phase, the forming of a new government which is guaranteed to fail in this situation, at which time the Revolution enters its 3rd phase and all hell breaks loose pulling in everyone and everything until one side is left standing. But due to the violence and constant attacks of those defeated who leave but conspire to come back the new government is of Tyranny, because that is what it takes to survive this 3rd and violent stage. It's not pretty and what was traded in exchange for the Revolution may not start to look so bad anymore. Maybe Gadaffi Jr., maybe not.

In the Middle East I would suspect that Iran's brand of Islam will continue to support a religious government as it does in Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Sudan, Libya, Afghanastan, Pakistan, Palastine, and anywhere they, or Al Queda can reach. Islamic Shia law is the claim as if morality can be legislated when it is easier to legislate out the means of thievery in government than to legislate morality in, such is the condition when church and state are merged.

But it is all guaranteed to turn to shit once the world economy tightens and the Middle East in the middle of their Revolutions, comes under the economic strain of bankruptcy. And what does the American Government do? It destroys the markets central medium of exchange by trying to maintain the status quo of America's primary industry, Financialization, leaving America impotent to arrest the development of Revolution overseas because it has no idea how help. It can't even help itself.

But it is a process America will learn because Revolution is at the door, like a patient wolf who knows the pigs must go to market.

Dennis Kucinich - Saw him years ago in a presidential campaign Q&A session on tv and he impressed me as a thoroughly decent guy, along the same lines as Ron Paul in outspoken honesty (Yes I know there are some of you who see him as an establishment shill - I'm not convinced yet). Decent people do not get coverage in the US. You should know that by now.
