So it is not for the German Parliament to create one, or to bully others to leave. Seriously, I read this as Germany itself getting its own legislature in order so that it can say Au revoir.

Sounds to me like the nail in the political coffin. They’re either going to have a United Europe or they’re not. I say they are not. The differences are just too great!
IMHO if analysts don't understand that the european elites (and much of the european people) are not going to abandon EU/eurozone/euro (and the ideas connected) they are bound to get all of their analysis on what will happen wrong.
